Last week on 9/11 The Daily Kos ran this picture. Now they might think that it is funny, cute or even the right thing to post. I find it in bad taste at the least. The moderators there forget that almost 3000 people died that day. Many jumped out of windows to avoid being burnt alive. Still others were vaporized, their bodies never to be found. Yet this is a source of amusement for them.
The Daily Kos is the on-line voice of the Democratic Party. Many of the top officials of the party have written articles for it and they are a leader in the Obama Cheerleading Squad. So in the interest of fair play and total lack of ethics that The Daily Kos has given the nation, I submit these for your enjoyment.
Activists at a conservative political forum snapped up boxes of waffle mix depicting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama as a racial stereotype on its front and wearing Arab-like headdress on its top flap.Obama Waffles are now available on-line at ObamaWaffles.com. A box of the Waffle mix is $9.99 plus shipping and handling, but you can get the Sarah Palin Special: Buy 2 boxes and the third is free.
Values Voter Summit organizers cut off sales of Obama Waffles boxes on Saturday, saying they had not realized the boxes displayed "offensive material." The summit and the exhibit hall where the boxes were sold had been open since Thursday afternoon.
The box was meant as political satire, said Mark Whitlock and Bob DeMoss, two writers from Franklin, Tenn., who created the mix. They sold it for $10 a box from a rented booth at the summit sponsored by the lobbying arm of the Family Research Council.
While Obama Waffles takes aim at Obama's politics by poking fun at his public remarks and positions on issues, it also plays off the old image of the pancake-mix icon Aunt Jemima, which has been widely criticized as a demeaning stereotype. Obama is portrayed with popping eyes and big, thick lips as he stares at a plate of waffles and smiles broadly.
Placing Obama in Arab-like headdress recalls the false rumor that he is a follower of Islam, though he is actually a Christian.
On the back of the box, Obama is depicted in stereotypical Mexican dress, including a sombrero, above a recipe for "Open Border Fiesta Waffles" that says it can serve "4 or more illegal aliens." The recipe includes a tip: "While waiting for these zesty treats to invade your home, why not learn a foreign language?"
The novelty item also takes shots at 2004 Democratic nominee John Kerry, Obama's wife, Michelle, andObama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Respectfully, what you presented doesn't parallel what the DK did.
If it did, you would've put a black man hanging from a tree with white people partying underneath it.
As despicable and terrible as that sounds, and it is and was even to write, that's in the same vein as what DK did.
They and apparently those of influence in the Demockacrat Party, but especially its leadership, including its current standard bearer, lack consciences.
And, as we all know, what the rest of us see as bad for America, they see as good, even gloatingly; and vice versa.
They are now getting burned with the cultural, racial, political and gender fires with which they've been playing.
Having Black friends I would never disgrace them like that. I prefer a more subtler approach and use the old stereotypes for that.
I find the picture of anyone being lynched, horrible.
Indeed, that would be disgraceful to blacks and whites and others.
And, absolutely, the image of that is horrible.
So I'm glad to didn't match DK for hideousness.
I meant "I'm glad you didnt'..."
