‘The “Innocence Of Dogs” Causes Howls Of Protest; Obama Issues Apology

This is one for the record books.  I've stolen this one from Wolf Howling.  I hope you enjoy.
The recently released film, the "Innocence of Dogs," a virulently anti-dog film produced by Cats Uber Alles, a U.S. corporation owned by one Kitty Galore, has led dogs to violent world wide protests organized by the Islamadog Foundation. The protesters, who condemned the film as "blasphemy," called for "death to all four legged chew toys" and a global ban on insults to canines.

In response to this unrest, President Obama immediately had Kitty Galore called in for questioning by the FBI and asked Google to "review" whether the film should remain on line. In addition, he produced an advertisement wherein he apologized to dogs everywhere, stating that their protests were the "natural result" of the provocative film and adding that free speech in America must be exercised with restraint. Sec. of State Clinton also appeared in the ad, pointing out that the U.S. government does not in any way agree with the "disgraceful film." In an apparent gesture of goodwill, the President invited the head of the Islamadog Foundation, Mo bin-Barken, to "dinner at the White House," an invitation the foundation has declined pending clarification of whether the invitation is for bin-Barken to be a guest or a menu item.
What is the difference between Dogs and Muslims?  Dogs rioting over "The Innocence of Dogs" and Muslims rioting over "The Innocence of Muslims".  The dogs are angry, but are not human.  They don't know any better, they are controlled by instincts.  What are the excuses of Muslims?

A Jew, His Dog, A Few Thousand Muslims

The Jew, Allan Eintoss, was doing nothing but walking with his dog Cupcake.  But it bothered a few Muslim whores women.  So guess who got arrested?
Toronto police have arrested a Jew who shoved back a Muslim who punched him for not moving his “unclean” dog further away from Muslim women during an anti-Israel rally. The Muslim was neither arrested nor questioned.

Allan Eintoss showed up at the annual Al Quds rally to register his disapproval of the celebration's call for destroying Israel, The Toronto Sun reported.

He took along his therapy-trained dog “Cupcake,” draped with an Israeli flag while other Jewish protesters were told to put away their Israeli flags because they were “inciting” Muslims waving Palestinian Authority flags.

After two Muslim women asked him about his dog, Eintoss refused a demand by a Muslim man that he move away because, they said, he was “not allowed to go near our women." As he walked away, another demonstrator punched him in his chest, prompting Eintoss to shove him back.

Police stepped in and one officer blamed him for being so insensitive as to bring a dog to an Islamic rally, while other policemen promptly handcuffed him and carted him away on charges of incitement to riot and assault. He was freed after agreeing to leave the area.

Eintoss is considering legal action against the police by demanding a public inquiry into the arrest.

“Insensitivity” to Muslims has been in fashion lately.

Individuals have been accused of blasphemy or of insulting Islam for speaking ill of Allah, finding fault with the prophet Mohammed, drawing a picture and speaking against Islamic leaders in some Muslim countries, according to Wikipedia.

Two months ago, a world renowned Turkish classical pianist was charged with insulting Muslim values in comments posted on Twitter and quoting a well-known poem by an 11th Century Persian poet who ridiculed the hypocrisy of people pretending to be pious.”

The Family Security Matters website has reported, “In an effort to counter ‘Islamophobia’ in British schools, teachers now are required to teach ‘key Muslim contributions' such as Algebra and the number zero’ in math and science courses, even though the concept of zero originated in India.”

I do hope that Mr. Eintoss sues the pants off of the Toronto Police Department.  I know that here in the United States such a lawsuit would win and the attitude of the police would be changed.

It looks like Canada is going the route of Europe.  Soon the women of Canada will be victims of gang-rape by mobs of Muslim boys allowed to rape women since their religion demands it.  In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Canada adopts the Jizya to appease their Muslims.  And under Obama, this too will become law here in the United States.

Poor Kitty.

Hat Tip to Elder of Zion

This poor kitty was just wanting to watch the Basketball game between Maccabi Tel Aviv vs. Bnei Hasharon.
A basketball team's canine mascot needed no help getting into character when a cat strayed onto the court during a televised match.

In a curious take on the age-old pursuit, Maccabi Tel Aviv mascot Donny the Dog sprang into action after the feline appeared during a match against Bnei Hasharon in Israel.

As Maccabi's players attacked their oppponents' end at the Zisman Arena in the city Ramat Gan, eastern Israel, the furry intruder was spotted in the middle of the court.

The skittish cat, no doubt startled by the size 11s of the ball players thundering around him, tried to sprint towards cheerleaders gathered at the Bnei Hasharon end.

But Donny, feeling the spirit of his canine alter-ego, decided to give chase.

Sensing the chase was on, the cat skidded across the court, changing direction to avoid Donny's lunging attempt at a tackle.

Despite desperately giving chase the mascot can't catch the nimble creature, who sprints easily beneath the stands.

Undeterred, and to the amusement of spectators, Donny tried to follow him under, but the mascot was foiled by his over-sized head.

There was no indication where the cat could have come from, but strays have become a problem in Israel in recent years.

I wonder what set the Kitty off.  A laser pointer (Mr. Red Dot)?  The Shoe Laces?  The need to be seen on Television.  What we do know is that he/she got away.

The Rescued Black Lab

Hat Tip to Carol's Blog

When I read this I wept.

They told me the big black Lab's name was Reggie, as I looked at him lying in his pen. The shelter was
clean, no-kill, and the people really friendly.  I'd only been in the area for six months, but everywhere I went in the small college town, people were welcoming and open. Everyone waves when you pass them on the street.

But something was still missing as I attempted to settle in to my new life here, and I thought a dog couldn't hurt. Give me someone to talk to.  And I had just seen Reggie's advertisement on the local news. The shelter said they had received numerous calls right after, but they said the people who had come down to see him just didn't look like "Lab people," whatever that meant. They must've thought I did.

But at first, I thought the shelter had misjudged me in giving me Reggie and his things, which consisted of a dog pad, bag of toys almost all of which were brand new tennis balls, his dishes, and a sealed letter from his previous owner. See, Reggie and I didn't really hit it off when we got home. We struggled for two weeks (which is how long the shelter told me to give him to adjust to his new home). Maybe it was the fact that I was trying to adjust, too. Maybe we were too much alike.

For some reason, his stuff (except for the tennis balls --- he wouldn't go anywhere without two stuffed in his mouth) got tossed in with all of my other unpacked boxes. I guess I didn't really think he'd need all his old stuff, that I'd get him new things once he settled in. But it became pretty clear pretty soon that he wasn't going to.

I tried the normal commands the shelter told me he knew, ones like "sit" and "stay" and "come" and "heel," and he'd follow them - when he felt like it. He never really seemed to listen when I called his name --- sure, he'd look in my direction after the fourth or fifth time I said it, but then he'd just go back to doing whatever. When I'd ask again, you could almost see him sigh and then grudgingly obey.

This just wasn't going to work. He chewed a couple shoes and some unpacked boxes. I was a little too stern with him and he resented it, I could tell. The friction got so bad that I couldn't wait for the two weeks to be up, and when it was, I was in full-on search mode for my cell phone amid all of my unpacked stuff. I remembered leaving it on the stack of boxes for the guest room, but I also mumbled, rather cynically, that the "damn dog probably hid it on me."

Finally I found it, but before I could punch up the shelter's number, I also found his pad and other toys
from the shelter...I tossed the pad in Reggie's direction and he snuffed it and wagged, some of the most
enthusiasm I'd seen since bringing him home. But then I called, "Hey, Reggie, you like that? Come here and I'll give you a treat." Instead, he sort of glanced in my direction --- maybe "glared" is more accurate --- and then gave a discontented sigh and flopped down. With his back to me.

Well, that's not going to do it either, I thought. And I punched the shelter phone number.

But I hung up when I saw the sealed envelope. I had completely forgotten about that, too. "Okay,
Reggie," I said out loud, "let's see if your previous owner has any advice.".... .....

ToWhoever Gets My Dog:

Well, I can't say that I'm happy you're reading this, a letter I told the shelter could only be opened by Reggie's new owner. I'm not even happy writing it. If you're reading this, it means I just got back from my last car ride
with my Lab after dropping him off at the shelter. He knew something was different. I have packed up his pad and toys before and set them by the back door before a trip, but this time... it's like he knew something was wrong. And something is wrong...which is why I have to go to try to make it right.

So let me tell you about my Lab in the hopes that it will help you bond with him and he with you.

First, he loves tennis balls.  The more the merrier. Sometimes I think he's part squirrel, the way he hordes them. He usually always has two in his mouth, and he tries to get a third in there. Hasn't done it yet. Doesn't
matter where you throw them, he'll bound after it, so be careful - really don't do it by any roads. I made that mistake once, and it almost cost him dearly.

Next, commands. Maybe the shelter staff already told you, but I'll go over them again: Reggie knows the obvious ones ---"sit," "stay," "come," "heel."

He knows hand signals: "back" to turn around and go back when you put your hand straight up; and "over" if you put your hand out right or left. "Shake" for shaking water off, and "paw" for a high-five. He does "down" when he feels like lying down --- I bet you could work on that with him some more. He knows"ball" and "food" and "bone" and "treat" like nobody's business.

I trained Reggie with small food treats. Nothing opens his ears like little pieces of hot dog.

Feeding schedule: twice a day, once about seven in the morning, and again at six in the evening. Regular store-bought stuff; the shelter has the brand.

He's up on his shots.  Call the clinic on 9th Street and update his info with yours; they'll make sure to send you reminders for when he's due. Be forewarned: Reggie hates the vet. Good luck getting him in the car --- I don't
know how he knows when it's time to go to the vet, but he knows.

Finally, give him some time.  I've never been married, so it's only been Reggie and me for his whole life. He's gone everywhere with me, so please include him on your daily car rides if you can. He sits well in the backseat, and he doesn't bark or complain. He just loves to be around people, and me most especially.

Which means that this transition is going to be hard, with him going to live with someone new.

And that's why I need to share one more bit of info with you....

His name's not Reggie.

I don't know what made me do it, but when I dropped him off at the shelter, I told them his name was Reggie.  He's a smart dog, he'll get used to it and will respond to it, of that I have no doubt. But I just couldn't bear to give them his real name. For me to do that, it seemed so final, that handing him over to the shelter was as good as me admitting that I'd never see him again. And if I end up coming back, getting him, and tearing up this letter, it means everything's fine. But if someone else is reading it, well ... well it means that his new owner should know his real name. It'll help you bond with him. Who knows, maybe you'll even notice a change in his demeanor if he's been giving you problems.

His real name is "Tank".

Because that is what I drive.

Again, if you're reading this and you're from the area, maybe my name has been on the news. I told the shelter that they couldn't make "Reggie" available for adoption until they received word from my company commander. See, my parents are gone, I have no siblings, no one I could've left Tank with ... and it was my only real request of the Army upon my deployment to Iraq , that they make one phone... call the shelter .... in the "event" ... to tell them that Tank could be put up for adoption. Luckily, my colonel is a dog guy, too, and he knew where my platoon was headed. He said he'd do itpersonally. And if you're reading this, then he made good on his word.

Well, this letter is getting downright depressing, even though, frankly, I'm just writing it for my dog. I couldn't imagine if I was writing it for a wife and kids and family ... but still, Tank has been my family for the last six years, almost as long as the Army has been my family.

And now I hope and pray that you make him part of your family and that he will adjust and come to love you the same way he loved me.

That unconditional love from a dog is what I take with me to Iraq as an inspiration to do something selfless, to protect innocent people from those who would do terrible things .... and to keep those terrible people from coming over here. If I have to give up Tank in order to do it, I am glad to have done so. He is my example of service and of love. I hope I honored him by my service to my country and comrades.

All right, that's enough.  I deploy this evening and have to drop this letter off at the shelter. I don't think I'll say another good-bye to Tank, though. I cried too much the first time. Maybe I'll peek in on him and see if he finally got that third tennis ball in his mouth.

Good luck with Tank. Give him a good home, and give him an extra kiss goodnight - every night - from me.

Thank you,
Paul Mallory

I folded the letter and slipped it back in the envelope. Sure I had heard of Paul Mallory, everyone in town knew him, even new people like me. Local kid, killed in Iraq a few months ago and posthumously earning the Silver Star when he gave his life to save three buddies. Flags had been at half-mast all summer.

I leaned forward in my chair and rested my elbows on my knees, staring at the dog.

"Hey, Tank," I said quietly.

The dog's head whipped up, his ears cocked and his eyes bright.

"C'mere boy."

He was instantly on his feet, his nails clicking on the hardwood floor. He sat in front of me, his head tilted, searching for the name he hadn't heard in months.

"Tank," I whispered.

His tail swished.

I kept whispering his name, over and over, and each time, his ears lowered, his eyes softened, and his posture relaxed as a wave of contentment just seemed to flood him. I stroked his ears, rubbed his shoulders, buried my face into his scruff and hugged him.

"It's me now, Tank, just you and me. Your old pal gave you to me." Tank reached up and licked my cheek. "So whatdaya say we play some ball?" His ears perked again. "Yeah? Ball? You like that?  Ball?" Tank tore from my hands and disappeared in the next room.

And when he came back, he had three tennis balls in his mouth.
For all those who serve:

Thank you!

Well Done Maggie!

Hat tip to Israel Matzav

No not to our dear Maggie of Maggie's Notebook, but to Maggie the dog.

Maggie was so excited to welcome Libyan strongman Moammar Khadafy and his all-women team of bodyguards, that she left him a present on the red carpet (below) outside Libyan Mission.
A politically incorrect pooch delivered a stream of consciousness protest Saturday as Libyan officials rolled out the red carpet for dictator Moammar Khadafy.

Maggie the dog was out for a walk when she responded to the pomp by taking a pee on the lush rug outside the Libyan Mission - a gesture appreciated by many New Yorkers with little use for the notorious colonel.

"The dog had excellent taste," said Mark Birnbaum, 57, a Mission neighbor who watched the whole thing. "She's a sweetheart."

Aggravated Libyan officials were forced to cut away a section of the carpet that stretched across the E. 48th St. sidewalk from the curbs to the steps.

Khadafy stirred up American anger in advance of his first U.S. trip by arm-twisting Scottish officials to win freedom for the Lockerbie bomber - and then giving the terrorist a hero's welcome in Libya.

There was more angst over his wish to stay in a Bedouin tent in Central Park or Englewood, N.J. Instead, the Libyan president - after considering the swanky Pierre Hotel - opted to stay at the Mission during the UN General Assembly.

The decision came after word of his Pierre plans were made public.

"Usually, if it gets out where a guy's staying, especially someone like Khadafy, he changes up," a police source said.

Embassy workers were spotted bringing in bubble-wrapped furniture ahead of Khadafy's visit.

When Khadafy arrives later this week, he'll be coming with a gang of fetching "gun girls."

The dictator's pistol-packin' posse of 40 to 50 women bodyguards - sometimes called his "Amazon Guard" - will be part of a massive 150-member traveling entourage for the UN General Assembly session, U.S. officials said.

Along with live weapons, the guards will bring their bad-girl reputation.

In 2003, the women - smartly outfitted in form-fitting desert camouflage uniforms and blue berets - caused a pushing-and-shoving ruckus when Khadafy got in a shouting match with Saudi Arabians at an Arab summit.

The bodyguards also formed a menacing circle around Khadafy in Rome last June after 900 Italian women unleashed a chorus of boos in response to his admonition not to drive without their husbands' permission.

Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, said Khadafy's security detail should not be a problem. "We deal with difficult heads of state all the time," Rice said of the supposedly reformed Khadafy, a former patron of terror groups from the Philippines to Belfast.

Other head-case leaders coming this week are Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Rice noted that Americans were irate over the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, convicted in the Pan Am 103 bombing that killed 270 people in 1988.

"How President Khadafy chooses to comport himself has the potential either to further aggravate those feelings and emotions or not," she said.
I do hope that Maggie's owners will do the right thing and reward the sweet dog with treats and a big bone.

Perhaps when Khadafy does arrive, Maggie can show her displeasure once again and shower his leg.

Worth The Cost!

There are millions of dogs and cats in this country. The majority of them live in happy homes with loving families. But for millions of dogs and cats, there is no home, no loving family. They end up on the street, homeless, hungry, unwanted, unloved.

The sad fate for many of these animals is death by lethal injection. This is the reality of their lives.

But it doesn't have to be. You have the power to change the life of an abandoned animal. Instead of "purchasing" a "Pure Bred" from the pet shop, adopt your next family pet from your local shelter. You will find many great dogs and cats there. One could easily steal your heart (or lunch).

Some facts about Pet Adopting from Adopt-A-Pet:
  • Did you know that approximately 4 million adoptable dogs & cats are killed each year due mainly to overpopulation? Did you know that 25-30% of dogs for adoption in animal shelters are purebred? The other 70-75%, of course, are lovable, wonderful mixed-breed pets, just waiting for a chance to be your perfect new friend.
  • In an effort to help people make good choices when they adopt a dog or cat, many humane societies, SPCAs and pet rescues provide adoption counseling to help match you up with a pet for adoption.
  • If you have your heart set on a specific breed, before you check out a dog breeder or pet store, why not adopt a pet from a breed rescue organization? Breed rescues are groups that specialize in a particular breed of dog or cat.
  • Don't be fooled into thinking that animal shelters and pet rescues are filled with dog or cats that were discarded because they're "bad". Shelter pets for adoption are wonderful companions who became the victims of family tragedy, unlucky circumstances or irresponsible owners.
  • Did you know that many backyard dog breeders and pet stores who supply the majority of purebreds simply are selling inbred pets without care for preventing genetic problems? Mixed breed pets have less inbreeding, generally less inherited genetic disease, and therefore overall lower vet bills and happier pets! And the best place to find a mixed breed dog or cat is at an SPCA, a humane society or an animal shelter.
Whether it is a lovable mutt or an adorable kitty, your local SPCA, humane society or animal shelter has the pet for you!

Turn About Is Fair Play!

Hat tip to Dhimmi Watch

For years Muslims have been suing establishments and businesses complaining that they are being discriminated based on their religion. We can remember the woman who sued Sarah Desrosiers, an owner of a hair salon, because she didn't want to hire her. The woman, Bushra Noah, won $4000 over this. The cab drivers in the US and Great Britain who refuse to drive blind passengers with eye dogs. The outrage over a cute picture of a puppy sitting in a police officer's cap, and the forcing of police dogs to wear 'booties' when searching a Muslim's home or car.

Now the outrage has gone too far. The discrimination of the blind is out in the open!

Blind man's guide dog barred from restaurant for offending Muslims
Alun Elder-Brown, a recruitment executive, said he was left feeling "like a piece of dirt" after being barred from bringing the animal into Kirthon Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on religious grounds.

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association said the decision was illegal under the Disability Discrimination Act and Mr Elder-Brown, 51, is now considering suing the establishment in The Pantiles.

It follows a series of successful prosecutions of Muslim taxi drivers who refused to carry guide dogs in their cars because they considered them unclean on religious grounds.

Mr Elder-Brown was taking his girlfriend out to celebrate her birthday with her five year-old daughter last week when he was told he would have to leave his dog, Finn, tied up outside.

He showed a card issued by the Institute of Environmental Health Officers certifying he and his dog were allowed into any premises but an argument ensued and the owners threatened to call the police if he did not leave.

"It was humiliating and degrading, especially as there were a lot of people around me," he said.

"I was made to feel like a piece of dirt. They told me I couldn't come in because it was against their religious beliefs to have a dog in the restaurant.

"They then said I could leave Finn tied up outside. I stayed calm but when they threatened to call police I left."

He added: "It was horrible. It put a dampener on the whole celebration."

Under the Disability Discrimination Act it is illegal to refuse to serve a disabled person of give them a diminished level of service because of their disability.

Chris Dyson of Guide Dogs for the Blind said: "We are extremely concerned and disappointed that Alun was refused access to this restaurant.

Full Story
I do hope that Mr. Elder-Brown sues them for millions! I know that if they tried this in the United States, this restaurant would be out of business and the owners would have to file for bankruptcy due to the fact that they would lose everything.

If more and more people start doing this, forcing the Muslim population to conform to our standards and not those of the 7th Century, then we would actually see an ending to discrimination against the native people of Britain and the majority of Americans.

In this case, the Muslims will be the ones who will be forced to pay the high fines, possible loss of business and a possible boycott.

It's about Bloody time too!
