Here are my answers to Maggie's Questions:

1. Why did you start a political blog and when?

I started blogging on 21 April 2008 with this post.   I was considering putting my voice out into cyberspace for a while, but after a long talk with my dear friend Roger Gardner (May he rest in peace) of Radarsite convinced me into adding my voice.

2. Who is the one person still living that you would most like to meet and chat with?

I would love to have a sit down with Bibi Netanyahu.  Right now not a sit down, more of a ass kicking.   I would like to know how a man of such patriotism could sell his nation out.

3. Would you replace Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court John Roberts if given the opportunity, and if so why and replace with whom?

I  don't think I would replace John Robers.  I would get rid of Sonia Sotomayer and Elana Kagan and find 2 Conservative Constitutionalists to replace each one.

4. If you could visit one nation you have never visited before, what nation would that be?

This is a hard one since I am well traveled. I think I would like to experience North Korea.  One cannot visit that nation, but visit it to feel the true face of Communist Repression.

5. What is something you would collectively change about humanity?

I would get rid of our ability to hate one another for stupid reasons.  Reasons of faith, skin color,  sexual orientation, etc.  Could you imagine Islam without the anti-Semitism, or if Black people stopped hating White people?  Without the hatred, the bigotry we have for each other, this world would actually become a paradise.

6. What book has influenced your life (other than the Bible or Torah) and describe how?

The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsy.  This book was released when I was in High School and told of the horrors of the Soviet System.  It scared me beyond Atlas Shrugged or any other anti-Communist book.  It should be mandatory reading in High School.

7. If you were free to live in any city/town you choose in the U.S., which would you choose and why?

I think there are some beautiful places here in the US.   A small town in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, or Utah would be nice.  But it is a pipe dream for me now.

As a Southerner, I am used to -- well, allow me to rephrase that: as far as it is possible, I am used to being called a racist, a bigot, a redneck, and several other epithets that I refuse to print here. That is not to say that I am comfortable with them, I am not. Nevertheless, again, as a southerner, hardly a day goes by that such disparaging words are not used, in reference to yours truly, singularly, as an individual, or collectively, as a member of the politically conservative right, or regionally, as a Southerner.

I suppose the thing about all this infantile name calling that troubles me most is the utter hypocrisy of those using such hurtful language. I have learned as an adult that many, if not most, of those tossing about such colorful, yet hollow charges, are soaked in ignorance of the origins of such words and the history of the my region of America, and indeed, the history of America itself.

For instance -- before the American Civil War, (you know -- the war we Southerners refer to, and think of, as “The War for Southern Independence,”) it was the Democratic Party, that had a death grip on the Southern States, which our young scholars have been erroneously, taught were the only slave holding states in the country.

That is far from the truth, very far. The Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic States, including Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, had legally sanctioned slavery in the 17th, 18th and even part of the 19th centuries.

This may come as a shock to you but… not only were black people enslaved in the North for over two hundred years, but the vast majority of all slave trading in America was done by northerners. Yes, we did just say: “The VAST Majority….” Remarkably, half of all North American voyages involved in the slave trade originated in Rhode Island, and all the northern states benefited. This is a fact much hidden from the youthful eyes of America’s young scholars for many, many, decades. In fact, many of those folks who so piously refer to Southerners as racists (because of our ancestors participation in the detestable trade) themselves hail from regions (and, yes, even families) that made fortunes on the trade of African blacks into slavery.

Shocked? You needn’t be. It has been SOP in America’s public (Government) school system for many years. It is the foundation of the ignorance from which springs the scurrilous charges made against so many of my ancestors and yes, even this scribe today.

I tell you this so you will be less shocked when we say that much of the name calling of southerners and politically right conservatives is coming from Representatives and Senators, of those Northern States who desperately want to paint all members of the political right as racists, and bigots.

There is also a statement made, time and again, which goes something like this: Blacks, or, if you prefer, African-Americans, cannot be racists because they lack power or clout. That is absolutely pure, unadulterated nonsense, clap-trap, BS, horse hockey, and a few other things we dare not print for general consumption. If one human hates another because of the color of his skin, regardless of the color of his own, that is bigotry. We see it everyday, as well, or hear it referenced every day in the music popularly known as “Rap” Music and "Hip-Hop" music.

The left claims to want a national “conversation” about racism in America. They don’t, of course. If they did they’d stop using the first sentences out of the mouths of members of the right to label them racists, which simply shuts off all conversation instantly.

No. The left does not want a national confab on racism in America. It is a ploy, that’s all.

White America has grown tired of pretending not to see the overt racism of the left. We’ve grown exceedingly resentful of being used as a punching bag and we’re beginning to punch back.

The national conversation on racism in America, the left claims to want, may yet materialize – in the streets of the nation’s cities as black and white mobs clash. It will be a conversation of the fist and club and, eventually, the gun.

Nobody in their right mind wants this to happen. But that is exactly where America is headed once the last straw is applied to the camel’s back.

I DO realize the weight of the words above. I DO realize, as well, that until we are ready, as a people, as a nation, to face up, honestly, to the racism of the left -- and the black community in particular – then it is a non-starter. Until that time a civil conversation will not be had for it cannot be had.

The best we can hope for is the continued stand-off and the barely concealed hatred boiling just beneath the surface. The plain truth is, I believe, the very best we can hope for is that the black community will continue to pretend they're not racists and the white community will continue to pretend that it doesn't notice black racism.

No, there will be no national conversation on racism. There WILL be more shouting matches, bruised egos, and hurt feelings, which will do nothing to salve the wounds of the vicious national argument on racism.

WE Americans have tried for 237 years to hold the people of the country together in some sort of union -- even with the numerous cracks and fault lines running between us. Today those cracks and fault lines have become chasms. And some are un-crossable. This is one of them.

Overcoming Their Own Worst Enemy

Liberal guilt created a permanent underclass of citizens in America about one hundred and fifty years ago and still there is no light at the end of the tunnel for that underclass to claw their way towards IF they ever hope to crawl out of the societal hole liberals tossed them into at the end of America's "War Between the States."  

There is another entirely different commentary to be written about the way liberals have suckered the black race in America and taken credit for any and all advances American blacks have made since the Civil War.  Most of the left's claims are pure bovine scatology but their willing accomplices in the intellectual community, the halls of academia, and the Mainstream Media have taken those lies and transformed them them into what is recognized today as history.  Never mind that that so-called "history" is mostly lies.  It IS the official record.  And that, dear reader, is THAT.

It is the national leadership of the black community in America where, I think, the problem lies.

But there is a crying need for leadership at a much more critical level.  In the home, in the family, and in the black neighborhoods.

The black family desperately needs two parents at the head of the family unit ... a mother and a FATHER.  That young black male can learn much from his mother --  but -- how to be a responsible, disciplined, self-respecting man, a masculine contributor to society,  can be learned ONLY from a father.  The home is where real leadership begins, where it is born, and where respect for leadership is taught.  It is also where accountability is learned and where one learns to take responsibility for one's own actions or inactions.

It is jaw-dropping to realize that an entire race of people in America were given freedom over 150 years ago and so little progress has been made as a race, as a class, in bettering themselves, taking advantage of the blessings of this country,  seizing the guilt offerings from white America and using all of it to make their way up the ladder of progress  until they truly stand on a level societal field. It just has not happened. 

If anything, with exceptions, of course, the vast majority of American blacks seem to take pride in their victimhood, assumed or real.  See, little is expected of victims.  It is SAFE to play the part of the victim. And besides, white America loves to "rescue" victims by lavishing all sorts of goodies on them if only to assuage the guilt they (white America) feel for having victimized the poor "victim" in the first place.

Then along comes someone like Dr. Ben Carson and blows a hole the size of the moon through all the BS the leaders of the black community have thrown up the past 150 years -- and what happens?  Well, of course, he is attacked for it.  He's not "down" with the "cause."

See, Ben Carson is an embarrassment to the black community.  That alone should tell you just how convoluted the thinking within that hapless community of people really is.

Here's a man who made the most of every opportunity he found, or came his way, or that he himself could create. Ambitious?  HELL, Yes!  But ambition is a necessary element in striving to better your lot in life.

"Black people created their own stereotype. Now its hard for me to be a educated young black man without being labeled as 'acting white." (Quote from "unknown.")

Nobody seems to know who actually created or verbalized the quote above but it is unarguably true.

Mychal Massie, in an Article for WND entitled: "Blacks: Their own worst enemy" said the following: "If you are black, when was the last time you applauded the accomplishment of another black who didn’t play victim or have an edge of militancy earmarking said accomplishment?

Blacks are inculcated from the womb to believe that whites, especially conservatives, are out to get them. Living under that onus creates a debilitating vestige of rage, resentment and inferiority. In reality, whites, apart from liberals who trade on black immiseration, are not interested in holding blacks down or treating them unfairly. And in no way do they reference blacks in the same disparaging ways blacks do them."  SOURCE

In the very same article Mr. Massie goes on to say: "Many blacks may not like it, but all too often, when they’re not being their own worst enemies, they are giving their tacit stamp of approval for others to portray them that way."  SOURCE

For evidence of the truthfulness of Mr. Massie's statement above simply look at the leaders the American black community has chosen to represent it and consider how those very same leaders embellish the victim-hood label.

I agree with Mr. Massie who says in the same article:  "It is time to stop feigning insult over nothing, and over that which could be avoided by appropriate behavior, and start promoting positive stories of blacks, regardless of their party affiliation. It is time to stop honoring malevolent anti-social behavior and victimology."  Read more at here
  
The self-appointed leaders of America's black community continue to play the "blame game" and continue to preach hatred and divisiveness when they ought to be preaching a message of repentance and turning away from immorality.   As a result, American blacks have simply traded one enslavement for another.

At some point, blacks are going to have to relinquish their death grip on the battles of the past, accept that most of those battles have actually been won, and join with the rest of us battling today's problems and preparing as best we can to face the unknown problems about to assail us from the future.

Look. Bigots and racists are EVER with us,  have always BEEN with us,  and will always BE with us.  Unfortunately, it is a part of the human condition.  It is a part we can choose to allow influence us -- or -- we can choose to ignore it/them and move forward.   I hope we as a people, both black and white, choose the latter.

America is facing an uncertain future in which she will need all her children, black, white, brown, whatever,  dedicated to her survival.

WE can do this, but we can do it so much better TOGETHER!

Shout Racism And Stop The Debate!

I've had it up to my lower eyelids with the left's tarring of everyone who does not agree with them as racists.

See, right THERE, I'm a racist!  OK.  So be it! 

I am convinced that shouting "racist" is a coward's device to evade having to put up or shut-up. It allows a coward to claim to have won an argument by silencing the opposition.    Look, if you want to play in the big boy's league you gotta get rid of the thin skin -- no matter the color it happens to be.

I am a southern white male. I have been labeled a racist all my life and frankly, I have never really gotten used to it.  I learned to put up with it, and ignore it, as much as possible. But now that I have attained a, ahem, certain age, damned if I will hold my silence any longer.

Let me spell it out for you.  If you cannot debate your position without resorting to screaming "racist" then you need to look up the word "transference."  For those of you who have yet to master the use of a dictionary, transference, simply put, is when you call someone something that you, in fact, are.  Or, you accuse someone of holding and opinion, that you, in fact actually hold. (Ask any shrink.)  You are transferring your feelings onto your opposition.  Boil it all down and you get the school yard version:  "It takes one to know one!"

A very nice southern lady, one of or vaunted "steel magnolias" told me the other day, upon hearing the ladies of the Congressional Black Caucus refer to Senator John McCain (and others) racists, that she was sick of it.  She expressed her feelings ever so delicately to me by saying, "I think I'll puke!"

I wonder, do they have any idea how foolish they appear?  Or do they just not care?   It must be the latter.

Look, black folks in America are going to have to accept that they are no longer in the cat bird's seat.  They are no longer the number one minority in America.  That position is now owned by the Hispanics.  Guess which group will no receive the most attention now?  Uh-huh. 

African Americans are going to have to decide to either act like grown-ups or continue to kick the sides of their cribs for attention.  The latter is going to less effective every day.

The black community in America needs better leadership.  If you really want to know who is "keeping you down" -- look to your own leadership.  Requesting a UN affiliated group to monitor US election? Indeed!  Did you think we wouldn't resent the heck out of that move?  Oh, I wonder if those monitors were monitoring Congressman  Allen West's loss in Florida?  Huh?     

White America is tired, broke, and more than a little disgruntled.  We're in no mood for the childish game of name-calling. 

Now, for those of you, especially in the NFM (Non-Fox Media), who swore paradise had been found when America elected its first black President -- going so far as to refer to our era as "Post Racist America" --  how foolish do you feel now, huh? 

Racism is not confined to one skin color. Anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is full of it -- or has an agenda.  I vote for the latter. 

Look at the so-called "poverty-pimps"  who seem to find every TV camera and microphone in the continental USA when there is a disturbance between people of the white persuasion and people of  the black persuasion. I'll refrain from giving them more publicity by referring to them by name. You already KNOW who they are.

Only a fool believes racism can be wiped out.  As long as there has been more than one race on this planet there has been racism -- and there always will be.  It is the nature of the beast.  We tend to fear and distrust those not like us.  It is a defensive mechanism. Nature wired us that way to help us survive in a cruel world.

We have worked for millenia to overcome that natural inclination   Sometimes we are successful.  But most of the time we are not.  So, we learn to live with it as best we can.  It's what civilized people do.

Now,  having said all the above, it is my opinion that as long as folks continue to point fingers and shout racism at other folks, regardless of skin color, the tension between the races will continue to peg the needle on the tension meter.

So far as America being in a Post Racism Era, that's hogwash.  Race relations in America today are not that far removed from what they were in the 1960's.  Deal with it!

As far as Obama being black, or half black, (whatever!) I could not care less.  Heck, I might even like the guy! I doubt it! But lightening does strike occasionally!  It's his politics I disagree with, his political philosophy, his socialist agenda, all that.

There is a very good chance that Mr. Obama will be the last black President America has for a very long time.  The political left has so threatened everyone else with the "racism sobriquet" that no one wants to go through that abuse again by electing another black person to that high office.

The point is -- shouting racism to get your way has a downside. It not only makes you look stupid, it also convinces people who know better, that you are. And it will come back to bite you. 

The "Estrogen Brigade" of the Congressional Black Caucus would do well to consider (in future) what they are going to say BEFORE stepping before cameras and microphones -- and making fools of themselves.  As Lincoln is supposed to have said:  "It is better to remain silent and and allow people to think you a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt."   Harken, ladies, harken!

All Children Are Equal....Just Some Are More Equal Than Others

So it is for children in the State of Florida.  To make all equal they have to admit that some of their children are not as equal as others.

Asians are smarter than Whites.
Whites are smarter than Hispanics.
Hispanics are smarter than Blacks.
Blacks are so dumb they can never be smarter than any other group.

A new policy by Florida educators to set student goals in math and reading based on their race is an “ill-advised” plan that is destined to fail, education analysts told FoxNews.com.

By 2018, Florida’s Department of Education wants 90 percent of its Asian students to be reading at or above grade level, compared to 88 percent of white students, 81 percent of Hispanic pupils and 74 percent of African-American children. In math, state educational officials want that figure to be 92 percent for Asian students, or 18 percent higher than that of African-American students and 11 percent higher than their American Indian counterparts.

“Separate but equal is not,” said Kris Amundson of Education Sector, an independent education think tank based in Washington. “I understand that this is recognition that students are beginning at different places — and that’s honest — but I think it is, at best, ill-advised to set different learning standards for students based on the color of their skin.”

Amundson, a former chairwoman of the Fairfax County School Board in Virginia, said the plan “sends the wrong message” to children, adding that the lower standards for minorities closely reflects what President George W. Bush once dubbed the “soft bigotry of low expectations.”

“It’s better to say 80 or 90 [percent], or whatever your number is, and then acknowledge that schools aren’t hitting targets because of certain populations,” she said. “That’s more honest than creating a system where everyone gets a trophy.”

The 24-page strategic plan, which was approved in October, also sets differing goals for students who are economically disadvantaged, those with disabilities and children who are still learning English. Florida Department of Education officials were unavailable for comment Monday, but Board of Education Chairman Gary Chartrand responded late Tuesday to insist that the goal is still to get all children "100 percent proficient."

"We have to acknowledge that there are different starting points among groups of students today," Chartrand said in a written statement. "We can only close the achievement gap in Florida if we are willing to have an honest conversation about what it will take to get all students to that level of success."

Board member Kathleen Shanahan has said the goals are needed to comply with terms of a waiver that Florida and 32 other states have within provisions of the federal No Child Left Behind Act.

According to state statistics, 69 percent of white students in Florida scored at or above grade level in reading during the 2011-2012 school year, compared to 53 percent of Hispanic students and 38 percent of their African-American classmates. Dr. Wayne Blanton, executive director of the Florida School Board Association, said the state’s plan has been designed in mind to shrink that sizable gap.

“The message could have been portrayed a little clearer, but as far as racism, I see nothing in wanting to raise test scores that would be racist,” he said. “You’re trying to raise all test scores, not just in one particular group.”

Blanton said his agency has no official stance on the new policy as of Monday, but said Florida School Board Association officials will discuss the matter at its meeting next month.

Neal McCluskey, an education analyst at the Cato Institute, a Washington-based think tank, said Florida education officials are recognizing that some segments of students start at different levels than others. Doing otherwise would be illogical, he said. Still, he understands the justifiable concerns of an African-American parent upset that his or her child won’t get the “same push” as other students in the state.

“The root problem here is that it can’t deal with kids as individuals, it has to deal with them as groups,” McCluskey said. “This is again why we need to move to a system that is rooted in individual kids.”

The final result, he said, is that some children won’t get the same educational attention due to the color of their skin.

“If you’re an African-American or Hispanic student, the first message is: ‘I don’t have to do that well,’” he said. “There’s clearly a negative message being sent to kids based on what racial or ethnic groups they belong to.”

A better indicator of potential academic performance, McCluskey said, is perhaps income rather than race.

“We’re talking about unique, individual kids,” he said. “We have to get to a system that deals with students as individuals, not as members of groups, which means attaching funding to students themselves and letting the parents choose any school they want.”

Any time race is mentioned regarding education, people become rightfully sensitive and concerned, Andy Ford, president of the Florida Education Association, told FoxNews.com. But recognizing that not all students are on equal ground is a key part of the puzzle, he said.

“It’s really an opportunity gap that we’re looking at,” Ford said. ‘This is just a recognition of where kids are today. I would like to live in world where race and economic status do not matter, but we’re not there yet as a society.”

Another national education official, meanwhile, disagreed with the new policy, saying it was well-intentioned but missed the mark.

“The intent is probably honorable, but the execution is kind of insensitive, perhaps to the very groups they are trying to help,” said Daniel Domenech, executive director of the American Association of School Administrators. “Certainly the intent to get some groups to higher standards should remain, but it does show a degree of insensitivity.”

Domenech suggested that the state reconsider and analyze a system that rewards the year-to-year growth of each student.

“The expectations should be the same for all students,” he said. “Let’s not dilute that powerful objective.” Source

It is racist to separate children by the color of their skin.  What the state of Florida is telling both children and their parents is that if you are a certain race you are stupid and it can't be helped.  You will remain stupid no matter what you do.  That is why the state doesn't expect high results from your child in any test.

 It is a shame that the State of Florida actually believes this nonsense.  The state should test every child together and demand that every child do their best without a special exemption for their "race".  This is Moonbattery at its worse.  And perhaps a lawsuit in the making.

Hispanics The New Black: Part III - Mistaken Identity

Who are you? The answer speaks volumes. One man responds: Christian, family man, American and, well — my heritage is Hispanic. God, family, and country – that is what most Americans believe in, value most, and will fight for. It defines us as a people with a common purpose. “Being American” binds us even as some seek to racially divide and segment us. As one American patriot with a Hispanic surname put it on being Latino: “The National Council of La Raza does not speak for all Latinos because all Latinos are not about anti-American, subversive radical Chicano interests.” Liberal media attempts to portray that Hispanics have a singular mind-set of racial separatism of “Chicanos first.” It is an insult, a bofetada, to all who are “Americans first.” Though Liberal media suppresses that American-Hispanics are vastly divided over illegal immigration, the fact is, there are far-reaching consequences for all U.S. citizens.

The big question Americans ask of immigrants is: Are you here to give or are you here to take? Children excepted, entering America by breaking the law makes an immigrant “illegal by choice” no matter the country of origin. Hard fact is, many do not come to work or live peacefully. According to Homeland Security, mixed among the illegal immigrant flow are terrorists, hardened criminals, drug dealers and free-loaders who are wreaking havoc after infiltrating primarily inner-city neighborhoods. A young, Black woman called talk radio frantic that her neighborhood was now distressed and dangerous having been overrun by illegal immigrants. American-Hispanics complained that their tax dollars and hard-pressed community services are being drained by people who are not Americans. Are the Black and Hispanic callers “racists” or do they wage legitimate complaints as hard-working, tax paying, child-raising Americans?

In addition to being “illegal,” it is the immigrant that free-loads that represents much of the friction in the political debate? Democrats are quick to use the “R-word” – racism – but not the “R-word” – responsibility. Roberto Gonzalez, CEO of the 2000-strong Clear Lake, TX Tea Party, opposes the attitude that Americans are racists if they reject illegal immigration in any of its manifestations: “As legal immigrants in the late 1960s, my family and I fled communism. We came here with the mission to become Americans and we did so to become part of all that makes this country great. We cannot sit by and have our laws ignored by politicians who take an oath to uphold the rule of law and then proceed to choose the laws they want to ignore. We cannot afford the burden of paying the tax liabilities for those who cross the border, remain under the radar and use this country for their purposes without any responsibility whatsoever.”

Historically, immigrants have sought to build a strong and prosperous America. Today, many come to temporarily escape their own countries’ economic or social failures and look to use America as a swinging door without the intentions of obtaining legal status. In an ugly Machiavellian display, those who come “to take” want America to show allegiance to them without first showing allegiance to America. Intermingled with immigrant workers, blanket amnesty grants the criminals, human traffickers, drug dealers and free-loaders with residency as well. Armed with faked documents, an overloaded verification system would be no barrier. Inner-city neighborhoods would become fodder for “legalized” criminals. American-Hispanics are justifiably leery of selling-out to any amnesty-for-votes, quick-fix strategy that serves Democrat ambitions. Frederick MacHado represents the best of those who choose America first

Frederick MacHado knows who he is: “I was born in Nicaragua, Central America, and moved to the United States in 1980, the same year that Ronald Reagan was elected President. My pursuing the American dream has taken many years of my life, beginning with learning the English language and attaining some academic degrees. Soon after my arrival, I realized that, “America” and the American people are open to immigrants who work hard and want to succeed. Nevertheless, over thirty years, I have seen with sadness and surprise how the Hispanic media makes journalism full of biases and distortions to the point that, the news and perspective that they offer are often manipulative, and in many cases inaccurate…and far from being respectful to the Latinos.” Dr. MacHado epitomizes the “R-word” – responsibility. His degrees include a Master in Business Administration, Doctor of Ministry from Minnesota’s Bethel Theological Seminary and Doctor of Psychology from California Southern University in June 2007, where he graduated magna cum laude and now works in Clinical Psychology.

America is strengthened by contributions of a blended people who choose to be American. Today, what separates America most is a President that creates and uses racial divide as a political strategy. In a racist frenzy, after a 2008 in-party spat, the Obama camp insinuated that Bill Clinton was a racist, forcing a former American President to openly declare on ABC News, “I am not a racist.” Obama and the Democrats sidelined immigration issues for two years while holding total control of both houses of Congress and the Presidency. Overlooked by most is that Democrats also controlled Congress from 2007-2010 with their majority vote and still did nothing. Democrats view Hispanics as La Raza-style radical voters, rather than a constituency suffering the financial pain of Obama’s catastrophic economic policies. They contend that race warfare works with the majority of Black voters, why not Hispanics? Elevated to the highest office in the land — President of the United States — Obama portrays himself as the perpetual victim as he self-servingly denounces everyone who opposes him as a “racist.” In doing so, he diverts criticism from his unfulfilled campaign promises. Promises that now re-surface — during his bid for re-election — as future promises to those gullible enough to once more believe him.

Liberal Democrats have for years, in the cruelest of political chicanery, downplayed that everyone coming to America must learn English. In 2010, Obama promised to improve educational opportunities for Hispanics, but failed to deliver. Instead, Obama’s doublespeak blocked freedom of school choice for Hispanic and Black parents – diverting their children off the pathway to success. Obama has steadfastly backed power-laden teachers unions that protect inept teachers. Speaking before the NAACP, Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney criticized the rampant educational inequality facing Black schoolchildren: “If equal opportunity in America were an accomplished fact, Black families could send their sons and daughters to public schools that truly offer the hope of a better life. Instead, for generations, the African-American community has been waiting and waiting for that promise to be kept.” Romney pointed to the hopes of Black parents for the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program that would allow low-income students to attend private schools instead of substandard and deficient public schools: “Yet, President Obama has attempted to eliminate the program at every turn. [Liberal] policymakers stand in the way of poor kids succeeding in better schools of their parents’ choice.”

Seeing the same fate for their children and tired of the empty promises of Democrat-backed teachers unions, American-Hispanic families in Adelanto, CA took matters into their own hands. They pulled the “Parent Trigger” that gives them, under California law, the power to take over a failing school and turn it into a high-performing Charter School. To defeat the parents, the opposition attempted voter fraud. Forced into court, the judge ruled in favor of the families. Parent Revolution released a statement: “This is a historic victory for the courageous parents of Desert Trails [School]. These parents refused to give-up, even after losing two school board votes in the wake of an illegal rescission campaign riddled with fraud and forgeries. These parents took on the most powerful special interests in the state, and they won.” Calling it a “revolution,” parents of the majority Hispanic student body took on California’s big Democrat machine and a powerful Teachers Union. In the face of parental outrage, local-area Democrats backed down, distancing themselves from the unions. The American-Hispanic parents of Desert Trails are examples for the dejected parents of Black children in D.C. who were overpowered by Obama forces. All parents who are forced to send their children to substandard schools with substandard teachers now have a glimmer of hope as they fight for their children’s futures.

Roberto Gonzalez, Frederick MacHado and the parents of Desert Trails know who they are. They are Americans. God, family and country is a slogan of both personal and national identity. It binds this great nation of immigrants. It is who we are and we protect it as if the freedoms and futures of America’s children depend on it. For all Americans, along with that of a proud son of a single mother who left Mexico, legally entered America, worked three jobs, refused welfare, paid her taxes and raised educated children — the question remains to immigrants coming from across the globe: Are you here to give or are you here to take? If it is the former, the best way to begin, under the laws of the United States, is with the Oath of Allegiance that reads in part:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic…; so help me God.
 
Then, for God, family and your country, place your right hand over your heart and vow:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Before Barack Obama became President we were assured  that his election would be a new day for race relations in America.  That Barack Obama would bring the races together.  It is true, he has.  With Mobs of Black youth attacking White people in droves, Obama has done more to bring the races together than the KKK.

And yet if you criticize, you speak out, you even report on this violence, you are labelled a racist.  OK!  I'm a racist.  But in America today the real racists are in the Black community.  As JD Longstreet, that wonderful Southern Gentleman exposes here.

Racial Tension Ramping Up In America

It's not pleasant to bring up a subject seemingly NO ONE wants to talk about.  It's even more unpleasant when you know you are opening yourself up to accusations of the filthiest kind.  

So -- here goes.

America has a race problem.  It is a problem that may be about to erupt into nationwide violence.  In fact, some believe it has already begun.
 
The "War on Poverty," it appears, may be about to morph into a real shooting war.

I am seeing report after report, on the Internet, concerning the sky rocketing rise of black on white crime and yes, black on black crime, as well.  But, most horrible is the black mob violence which is becoming so prevalent that even the Mainstream Media is ALMOST forced to report it.  Notice:  I said "ALMOST."

There are the so-called black "flash mobs," the "rob mobs" and, of course, the old stand-by -- the out and out "riot."

Thing is -- it's happening all across the US.  This time, thankfully, my "South" will not bear the brunt of the criticism from the "Limousine liberals," the "Guilt-Trip Lefties," and the "Poverty Pimps."  But then, they have heaped defamation on us Southrons for so long they may just feel compelled to continue. 

News reports bear out the fact that this black mob violence is nearing -- if it has not already reached -- epidemic proportions.  But, there are two things I'd like to point out. 

First, the geography of the mob violence  and the MsM's self-censoring their reports so as not to make mention that the individuals constituting the mobs are almost exclusively black.

As an example, earlier this month as Americans tried to celebrate Independence Day, black violence broke out in Georgia, Florida, Ohio, California, Texas and Illinois. 

It is reported by WND that on Independence day Chris Rock tweeted the following: “Happy white peoples Independence Day.”  He continued his tweet by saying: “The slaves weren’t free but I’m sure they enjoyed fireworks.”  SOURCE:  http://www.wnd.com/2012/07/racial-violence-explodes-in-3-states/ 

Rock, born in Andrews, South Carolina, is a native "Sandlapper" -- the same as "yours truly." Mr. Rock is a great disappointment to me, personally.  I will not weary you with my "responsibility lecture," -- at least not at this point.   But I must mention that Rock was raised, according to his biography, in Brooklyn, NY.

In an editor's note on a piece written by Colin Flaherty entitled: "Black mobs now have soundtrack for violence" from WND (formerly known as World Net Daily) the editor says the following:  "Colin Flaherty has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of sky rocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse. WND features these reports to counterbalance the virtual blackout by the rest of the media due to their concerns that reporting such incidents would be inflammatory or even racist. The report(s) from Mr. Flaherty is/are, indeed, chilling, but, I hasten to add,  important because it now appears the undercurrent of rage in the black community of America is forcing its way to the surface and we may be receiving a tiny foretaste of a nationwide tsunami of black on white crime many believe will be unleashed on America if Obama loses to Romney in November.

Now it has been said.  The paragraph above expresses the whispered rumor circulating within America's white community for months now.

These are truly perilous times in America.  Nerves are on edge.  Patience has worn extremely thin -- in both the black and white communities -- and if cooler heads don't, somehow,  prevail,  a bloodbath will ensue in the streets of America.

Can anyone doubt there are elements in both the black and white communities that would like nothing less than a race war in America.

God help us should such a devastating orgy of blood lust occur.  No matter what you may have heard, read, or been told, there can be no winner in such a conflict.  Let there be no doubt America's black community would be decimated.  If there is any lingering doubt about the outcome of such a racial insurrection in America one only has to refer to the history of the Native Americans.

We cannot know, at this point, if the dye has been cast.  If the Mainstream Media was  doing its job, we all would be better informed and it is possible a national racial confrontation could be avoided.

If they remain silent and America is blind-sided by a national tide of black on white crime, once the white community shakes off its shock and surprise,  unfortunately, reprisals will be the order of the day.  And it will be a national nightmare. 

To deny racism exists in both the black and the white communities of America is to deny breathing.  Denial does absolutely nothing to solve or, at least, contain the problem.

It is past time for those in the mainstream media -- and those of us who subscribe to their products -- to demand the editors and news directors report the news of the racial unrest fully and completely.  Believe it or not, it actually IS one of those things we have a right to know.

For the last 3 years there have been an increasing level of violence against White People, against Latinos, against Asians, and especially against Jews from the Black community (specifically Black young men).  We are told by the LSM (when they finally report it) that it is because of unemployment, segregation, slavery or any other excuse they can think of.  So-called Black leaders such as Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton scream out every time a Black gangbanger is killed, demanding money to study the problem (It goes right into their pockets.), and more Affirmative Action.  Everybody else is getting upset and frustrated.  Sooner or later there will be a Black riot, they will burn down their neighborhoods, and then the neighborhood cannot be built back up.  For the city, the state is broke.

Notice one fact:  No Black mob will attack or rob any one or any business in those states, those cities with gun laws that allow conceal carry.  These attacks only happen in places that have strict gun control laws.

It is time that we remove those programs that were installed 50 years ago that were introduced into our society to counter the quota system that had been institutionalized in many places.  After 50 years, it is no longer needed.  In fact the quotas are now in reverse.

It is time for those in the Black Community who refuse to listen to the so-called Black leaders to take up the leadership of their communities and demand an end to the violence, to the silence by the media, to the government looking the other way.

It is time for the Black Community to take responsibility for these "Monsters" they have created!

Guess Who This Is...

In December 2010, the son of a local police officer sucker punched a homeless black man outside a bar. The white attacker strutted away from the downed man, obviously proud of his cowardly achievement. Police arrived at the scene and declined to arrest him, despite the fact the unprovoked attack was captured on video.

Over the course of the next several weeks, the community expressed outrage but few stepped up to do anything to demand justice for the homeless man, Sherman Ware. The black community was indifferent. The NAACP ignored the incident. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were nowhere to be found.

But one man was so determined to obtain justice for Sherman, he did what few others were willing to do. He stepped up and went door-to-door in black communities handing out fliers about the incident. He posted the fliers, put them on cars in parking lots, waited outside churches to give them to parishioners. He worked tirelessly exposing this injustice.

In January, his efforts finally paid off. In part, thanks to public pressure after the video was posted on Youtube, Justin Collison, a man with a violent history, was charged with sucker punching Sherman Ware.

In case you haven’t guessed, the man who worked so hard to bring justice for a homeless black man when the NAACP and other civil rights leaders looked the other way is named below the fold. 

The man was George Zimmerman.

These noble efforts by Zimmerman to help a stranger get deserved justice were related by a family member who is now in hiding due to death threats. The family member sent this letter to the Sanford Chapter of the NAACP, which has continued to perpetuate the smear that George Zimmerman is a racist who killed Trayvon Martin for being black.

Don’t expect to hear this story in the mainstream media.

New Black Panthers are Eric Holder's "People"

Republican Congressman John Culberson (TX) accused Attorney General Eric Holder of "failing to cooperate" in the infamous case of the The New Black Panthers intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place in the 2008 presidential elections. Holder was offended when Culberson cited Democrat activist and Civil Rights icon, Bartle Bull's testimony about the kind of intimidation he saw that day at the polls. Holder said the comparison was an affront to "his" people who sacrificed in the 60"s. Apparently Bartle Bull, who is White and who took part in many protests during that time, doesn't have the right to an opinion because he is White and obviously not one of Holder's "people." In a series of questions and comments earlier in the hearing, Culberson insisted that race had infected the decision-making process.

Politico:

"There’s clearly evidence, overwhelming evidence, that your Department of Justice refuses to protect the rights of anybody other than African Americans to vote," the Texas Republican said. "There's a pattern of a double standard here."

Holder's reply was that he disagreed - vehemently - that there is any such evidence. But there is such evidence. There is the testimony of two people who were integral parts of the Department of Justice and the handling of the case until the social justice agenda commenced. One was transferred to the hinterlands, and the second quit because the Department was so lacking in integrity. The one who quit, J. Christian Adams said a DOJ department head stated there would be no attempt to prosecute Black wrongdoers for any kind of voter fraud or intimidation, but there was no plan to also exempt Whites for doing the same - or any other ethnicity.

In the first place, the New Black Panthers (three of them) refused to show up to court - over and over for a five month period. A default judgment was handed down. Holder refused to honor it and ordered the case dismissed. Some inside Justice were outraged, not to mention those inside Congress. One of the Black Panthers wielding a nightstick that day in Philadelphia said this:

i has waited all my life for the day that Strong Black men could stand outside a voting poll in a Honk neighborhood and beat republiKKKan voters with a baseball bat to keep the motherfu**ers from voting for they racist candidate and walk away scott free and be a hero in the black community,,,,,,,,,,and that day finally here

The New Black Panthers are Eric Holder's "people," and he will have his brand of justice for them. The lawlessness of this administration, and this so-called Justice Department is despicable.

Justice Is Served!

On June 10, 2009, shortly before 1 pm, James von Brunn entered the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and proceeded to open fire upon the patrons inside.  Stephen Tyrone Johns, a humble security guard with a heart of gold, was killed trying to subdue von Brunn.  (A scholarship fund has been set up for his children.  You can contribute to it here.)

It has been nearly 7 months and von Brunn has not been brought to trial.  And he never will be.

At Butner federal prison in North Carolina, spokeswoman Denise Simmons announced that James von Brunn died shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Simmons said von Brunn had "a long history of poor health which included chronic congestive heart failure and sepsis." She said he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Von Brunn's lawyer, A.J. Kramer, called the death "a sad end to a tragic situation," but declined further comment.

Von Brunn had been awaiting trial for the killing of security guard Stephen T. Johns at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on June 10. Von Brunn had been wounded by return fire.

Now some people would question the assumption that Justice has been served for Stephen Johns, but I contend that von Brunn is now in front of the highest court in the Universe, before the greatest Judge that could ever be, and HIS judgement on von Brunn will be swift.  There will be NO APPEAL from this court.

There is one being who is dancing for joy over this. 

He is eagerly awaiting his disciple!

Statement by Commissioner Michael Williams, a Republican candidate for the United States Senate, concerning racism.

Those of us outside of Texas don't know and never heard of Michael Williams. This is from his campaign website:

Michael Williams is a Commissioner on the Railroad Commission of Texas, which regulates the oil and gas industry. It is the state’s oldest regulatory agency. Elected statewide three times, he was elected to complete an unexpired term in November 2000. In November 2002 and 2008, they re-elected him to full six-year terms. He was initially appointed to the Commission by then-Governor George W. Bush in December 1998 to fill a vacant seat. Williams served as Chairman of the Commission from September 1999 to September 2003 and again from July 2007 to February 2009. He is the first African American in Texas history to hold an executive statewide elected post.

Williams serves as the Chairman of the Governor’s Competitiveness Council. He also chairs the Governor’s Clean Coal Technology Council, represents the Governor on the Southern States Energy Board and is a member of both the National Coal Council and the Interstate Compact Commission. Williams also serves as the Railroad Commission’s “point person” for the agency’s regulatory reform and technology modernization efforts.

The son of public school teachers who earned degrees in math and the husband of a mechanical engineer, Michael is the creator and co-sponsor of the “Winnovators,” a summer camp for 6th through 12th graders to inspire the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.

An advocate of alternative energy, Williams is championing the conversion of Texas public and private fleets, especially school buses, from diesel and gasoline to environmentally cleaner, cheaper and domestically produced natural gas and propane through his “Breathe Easy” initiative.

A devout conservative, Michael helped get out the vote for Republicans as Chairman of Texas Victory 2004 and 2006, has served as Convention Chairman and Platform Committee Chairman at Republican Party of Texas’ State Conventions and was one of the original board members of the Texas Christian Coalition. He is also a life time member of the National Rifle Association.

He also had the pleasure to serve as an adjunct professor at Texas Southern University in the School of Public Affairs and Texas Wesleyan School of Law.

In 1990, President George H. W. Bush appointed Williams to be Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education, a position previously held by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Former President Bush previously appointed Williams as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Law Enforcement at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He had policy oversight responsibility for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Customs Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. Williams also served in the Department of Justice as Special Assistant to Attorney General Richard Thornburgh.

Williams served as a prosecutor in the Department of Justice under President Ronald Reagan. In 1988, he was awarded the Attorney General’s “Special Achievement Award” for the conviction of six Ku Klux Klan members on stolen military weapons charges. Early in his career, he was an assistant district attorney in his hometown of Midland, Texas.

Williams is a proud alumnus of the University of Southern California where he holds a bachelor’s, a master’s and a law degree.

He is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas. He and his best friend, Donna, celebrate 24 years of marriage.

Definitely not a man you can pin the term "Racist" on, but there are those who will try. He recently issued a statement condemning Jimmy Carter's use of that term. This is it:

“I have immense respect for President Carter, but I fundamentally disagree with the notion that opponents of President Obama’s immense spending proposals are motivated by race. As a black man from the South, I take exception to the notion that my opposition – or the opposition of millions of Americans to the president’s healthcare proposal – is rooted in racial politics. It is a sad day when genuine disagreement is smeared by such an incendiary characterization. I oppose the president’s plan because it will explode the deficit, allow further government intrusion into the doctor-patient relationship, and continue to insulate healthcare consumers from the true cost of their care.

“America has come a long way on the issue of race, so much so that we elected the first black president in the history of our country. The president’s supporters seem to want to denigrate the motives of the opposition so they don’t have to actually engage in a debate about reforms that will forever change the direction of this country.

“It is no coincidence as the liberals continue to lose public support for a budget-busting healthcare plan that they have begun a seemingly orchestrated effort to change the subject from the content of the reforms to the character of their opposition. From the former president of the United States, to the opinion pages of the New York Times, a new ugliness has permeated our discourse. I say to them that I can disagree with my president based on the politics of ideas rather than the politics of identity.

“Americans who have honest concerns about increasing government control of healthcare, and the overall direction of this nation, deserve answers instead of scorn, respect instead of reviling accusations of racism. If this president is going to change the tone in Washington, he better first change the tactics of his supporters.”

I wish he was running here in Illinois. I would welcome him as MY Senator. Alas, it is the people of Texas who just might have that privilege (lucky them).

I expect the left will start calling him an "Uncle Tom", just their way of stifling dissent in this country.

Playing The Race Card Georgia Style.

If he isn't attacking Jews Israelis, he attacks average, hard-working men and women. Jimmy Carter is at it again.

This time he is using the Race Card to do it.

Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that racial politics played a role in South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson's outburst during President Obama's speech to Congress last week and in some of the opposition the president has faced since taking office.

"I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American," Carter told NBC News. "I live in the South, and I've seen the South come a long way, and I've seen the rest of the country that shares the South's attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans."

"That racism inclination still exists, and I think it's bubbled up to the surface because of belief among many white people -- not just in the South but around the country -- that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country. It's an abominable circumstance, and it grieves me and concerns me very deeply," Carter said.

Carter made similar remarks at an event at his presidential center in Atlanta, Georgia, The Associated Press reported Tuesday, pointing to some protesters who have compared Obama to a Nazi. "Those kind of things are not just casual outcomes of a sincere debate on whether we should have a national program on health care," the former president said at the Carter Center, according to AP. "It's deeper than that."

He grouped Wilson's shout of "You lie!" during Obama's speech in that category, according to AP. "I think it's based on racism. There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president," he said.

"The president is not only the head of government, he is the head of state. And no matter who he is or how much we disagree with his policies, the president should be treated with respect."

First of all, the people protesting are not just white people, they are of all races and religions. They are Americans first. Their color, their heritage, their religion all come second. There is no hyphen between their designation. They are Americans! Plain and simple.

Second, it is the sacred duty of each citizen to speak out against the grievances he or she perceives that the government is doing that is wrong. Was Congressman Wilson wrong to shout out? NO! It is his right as a citizen to do so. Were the Democrats Donkeycrats right in censoring him? NO! Rep. Wilson apologized to the President and they should have left it at that.

We have a President who is black. That is a fact of life, and the vast majority of Americans don't care about the color of his skin. It is the color of his politics that concerns them more. That color is a definite PINK! That is what the anger is about. That is the true color that scares them.

Jimmy Carter had a failed Presidency. His foreign policy fizzled. His domestic policy almost brought the nation to its knees. It was under his watch:

That the Mullahs took control of Iran (a move he applauded at the time).
That 53 Americans were held hostage by the Iranian Government for 444 days.
That unemployment rose to 8.5%.
That inflation was out of control.
That government spending went haywire.

Yet he calls his Presidency a success.

Jimmy Carter is a failed man. He lost his re-election bid to Ronald Reagan by a landslide.

Now all he can seem to do is to pick on Southern Baptists, Israelis, and now Middle Class America.

Carter is 85, and perhaps his age has something to do with it. If that is the case, then perhaps we should find a nice rest home for him. Somewhere quiet and peaceful. Far from the hustle and bustle of the world. Somewhere he can dream of the time he didn't lose to Ronald Reagan, and there would be no Israel or Middle Class to bother him so.

Civics 101

Schools today do not teach the subject Civics. The requirements and responsibilities of citizens. I have no idea what they teach instead, but they need to return to teaching civics, and the history of politics and the political parties once again.

I know that the study of Civics is forgotten by American schools, due to the fact that too many young people are woefully ignorant of their civic responsibilities and the history of the political parties.

New Mayor in Alligator, Mississippi: Tommie Brown

Alligator, Mississippi has a new mayor. For thirty (30) years, Robert Fava has served as the tiny town’s mayor but a new day has come. Tommie ‘Tomaso’ Brown is Alligator’s mayor. In a town that is mostly Black, and with the only three businesses operating, and all owned by Whites, Mr. Brown’s win has made history.

Tommie Brown said he ran on a platform of “change.” Mr. Fava said he ran on a platform of “30 years of dedicated service.” Mr. Brown promised the residents of Alligator a swimming pool and a recreation center. Mr. Fava said he was also ready for change and stepping down is a “weight off my mind.”

Mr. Brown said he never thought a Black man could be the mayor of Alligator, but Barack Obama inspired him.

When he won, I decided that I knew the changes that needed to be made here and I thought that I could make those changes.

Among Mr. Brown’s plans for the towns is to get more government funding to give people better living conditions. He has plans for the children in the town. Without a phone or fax machine in the town, Tommie asks:

How can we communicate with the outside world and ask for things?

Much of the town was jubilant that a Black man would now mayor the town. Jennifer Green, described as a “black mother of 10,” and 31 years old, told this story about losing Mr. Fava as mayor:

Some youngsters ran into Mr Fava’s store to taunt him. “They was pulling down their pants, shouting, ’Kiss my black ass, because we got a black mayor’, swinging their things around and throwing stuff,…”

Ms. Green has her doubts about Tommie Brown:

He says there’s going to be lots of changes and everything with all these kids running around here.

But he do the same thing they do, drinking beer and stuff. You’ve got to stay at home and study the town. Alligator is the kind of place where if you leave your door open, when you come back there ain’t nothing in your house.

There’s guns. Kids knock on your door asking for a beer at three and four in the morning. I get 14-year-olds asking me if I want weed or whatever. They should have just left Mr Robert in there.

Tomaso won’t do anything about any of it. He’s going to put his hand in the cookie jar just at the wrong time and get caught.

The three businesses in town are Mary Ann’s Country Store owned by the the Fava’s, Gator’s Grocery and Diner, owned by Mr. Fava’s brother Ronnie, and Bruno’s Liquors and Convenience store owned by Fava’s cousin Vito Sbravati.

Bruno’s Liquors is a busy place, “with the scent of marijuana” in the air and the sidewalk teeming with Blacks “drinking beer and whisky and dancing to music from a boom box.” Robert Fava said Aligator is a quiet town, except when “we get that Voodoo and Rap music.” Bruno and his wife, Christine were G.W. Bush donors and Bruno’s grandfather came to America from Italy via Ellis Island. Bruno calls Tommie, “Tomaso Obama,” and Bruno says he doesn’t “go by black and white. I go by right and wrong.”

Mayor Tommie Brown’s town of Alligator, Mississippi is located about 90 miles south of Memphis.
