Al Sharpton: Get "Serious," If Government Comes to Disarm You It Has Drones: Second Amendment Will Not Help You

Sharpton also said, "people do not have the right to unregulated rights." It's a "regulated" right to board an airplane only after showing I.D., he points out. When it comes to voter I.D. however, it's an unnecessary regulation because there is no voter fraud, never mind that most of us boarding airplanes are not terrorists. Our voting rights are far more sacred than our entry onto airplanes, as the only job the government has is to keep us safe, and without free and fair elections, government can take away our voting rights. Just sayin'...

“First of all, if the government were to come to disarm you, you would not be able to use an automatic weapon to defend yourself. Let’s be serious. We’re in a world of drones now so the Second Amendment would not help you in that area. It is absurd to try to cite that.” 

“People do not have the right to unregulated rights in this country,” Sharpton continued. “And I think that for those that use the Second Amendment [they] are conceding that they have no argument on why you need a magazine with 100 rounds of ammunition or 30 rounds of ammunition.” Source: Daily Caller

These comments were made a little more than a year ago during the controversy over how many rounds a magazine can hold. In the same interview, the head of the National Urban League, Marc Morial, said "the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are not absolutes."

“The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are not absolute. One cannot yell fire in a crowded theater and hide behind the First Amendment,” said Morial

Reuters is reporting that B. Hussein Obama has spent the week commemorating progress in the Civil Rights Movement. No he hasn’t. He’s been politicking [with Sharpton] in an election year, trying to stir up his base by labeling his opponents as racists, against him and his policies, and by extension, the minority citizen voters. 

They’ve just reported how Obama “sharply criticized Republicans for leading efforts in some parts of the country to prevent citizens from voting.” The fact that he criticized them is factual, but they are presenting his argument as truthful, which it is not. They are thereby helping to perpetuate the false narrative. 

Republicans aren’t trying to keep any citizens from voting. They are merely trying to make sure that only citizens vote. That is as it should be. Source: The Gop Daily Dose 

Really, getting serious here, We the People are our only protection. We've seen that our elected officials will not protect us, so we go to the ballot box and pray.

The 46 Traitors Who Want To Give Away Our Gun Rights To The United Nations

Traitors (46 of them) Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms, and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo. Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power. Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Universal Background Check May Not Be What You Think It Is

I’m told a majority of Americans approve of a Universal Background check but do they realize that check will undoubtedly include the name of every legal gun owner eventually, and never include the names of illegal gun owners – never as in NEVER? Wake-up America. If you are not a criminal, your name doesn’t belong on a database.

Three U.S. Senators have informed Senator Harry Reid that they may filibuster legislation slated to come to the floor of the Senate for vote.

“We, the undersigned, intend to oppose any legislation that infringe on the American people’s constitutional right to bear arms, or on their ability to exercise this right without being subjected to government surveillance,” the senators wrote in the signed letter obtained by ABC News. “We will oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions.” ~ Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Rand Paul (R-KY)
Reid announced last week plans for the Senate to consider a comprehensive gun package after the holiday recess. The bill would try to crack down on gun trafficking and include a requirement for universal background checks, a component opposed by many Republicans and moderate Democrats.Source: CBS

If your name is not on a database you cannot be “surveilled.” If your name is on a federal database, you can be surveilled, criminals will not be surveilled because their guns will be purchased from other than legal sources.

“When the universal background checks don’t work, then registration will be proposed to enforce them,” Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa said as he voted against a background-check bill in a Senate committee last week. “And when that doesn’t work, because criminals won’t register their guns, we may be looking at confiscation.”…

Licensed U.S. gun dealers have been keeping sales records, on government form 4473, since passage of the Gun Control Act of 1968. The proposal by Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer of New York would require firearms dealers to maintain paper records on behalf of private gun sellers as well.

Senate talks aimed at gaining the support of Senator Tom Coburn, an Oklahoma Republican whose blessing is considered vital to bringing other Republicans on board, are bogged down over Coburn’s objections to the recordkeeping requirement. While Schumer is seeking other potential Republican sponsors from pro- gun states, so far there are no takers.

‘Forced Buybacks’

NRA President David Keene has maintained that universal background checks could lead to “forced buybacks” or door-to- door confiscation of weapons by the government.
“That’s a legitimate fear,” Keene said in a CBS News interview in January. The Fairfax, Virginia-based NRA is the nation’s biggest pro-gun lobbying group, claiming 4 million members. Source: Bloomberg

Hurray for Washington!

Sunday night Michelle Obama had a first for any First Lady.  No she didn't learn proper table manners.  No she hasn't learned to dress properly.  Our dear First Lady presented the Oscar for Best Picture.  Surrounded by female soldiers, she told the world that Argo had won.  What joy!  See how low the office of First Lady has sunk.

The culmination of last night’s Oscars broadcast with a Live! feed from the White House with Mrs. Obama (hangin’ with her military BFs) marks the official recognition of the Presidency as theater: like the old Western sets, no substance required.

From the very beginning, President Obama was elected based on his strong delivery of stirring words, “Hope and change,” with no serious vetting of his record or policies. Having been awarded the presidency, as the Oscars follow the Golden Globes, Mr. Obama was next awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, solely for his well-scripted promises for peace.

And thus the facade continues: promising peace and delivering expanded war, with new frontiers broken for drone killings of children and other innocents, legal justifications crafted for killing Americans, and near-limitless executive power over nearly every aspect of our lives. Reciting the Progressive line while delivering impoverishment, decreased access and less-affordable healthcare, clearly it matters only what he says, not what is. His hoped-for next act: new goals of gun control that would make the most vulnerable more so, an increased minimum wage that would further exacerbate the inability of those with no work experience to get an entry-level job in which to hone the skills that will put them on the economic ladder, and “green” measures, based, like the Life of Pi, on computer-generated fantasy so much more appealing than dry real-world data.

But it’s OK. The Obamas make us feel good about ourselves, and, after all, that’s what Hollywood, er, Washington, is all about.

Of course, this didn’t start with this administration. Mr. Bush is still hailed a “conservative,” despite having perpetrated preemptive war based on an only-in-Washington scenario of mysterious WMDs, setting off the executive power avalanche that’s really rolling now, and quadrupling the size of the federal government.

But the trend certainly seems to be finding its culmination in the currently reigning stars of the White House—and it’s certainly not one that’s healthy for the ticket-paying audience.

Could you imagine what the reaction from the Lame Stream Media would have been if Laura Bush had tried such a stunt.  Just because Michelle Obama is the First Lady doesn't entitle her to the perks and privileges of a queen.  In fact she is not fit for such a role by her demonstration of manners (Or lack of them.) during the inaugural luncheon.  And just imagine we will have 3 more years of these antics to cope with.  G-d help us!

Here a few examples:

Georgia woman who protected herself and her two children from an intruder in their home, by using her gun to defend her home and family.

A young Oklahoma mother shot and killed an intruder to protect her 3-month-old baby on New Year's Eve, less than a week after the baby's father died of cancer.

An Alabama woman said she was forced to shoot an intruder that broke into her home  in order to protect herself and her daughters.

Lesson Learned" Lay Down With Gun Grabbers, Lose Second Amendment Supporters

Back story: The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show decided to to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles (also called ARs) at their February 2-10  event in Harrisburg, Pa.

>The NRA and 170 companies and celebrities pulled out of the show, one saying "We need to stand firm against those siding with the anti-gun crowd."

Via Washington Examiner:

Pennsylvania Rep. Tom Marino said he was disappointed in the cancellation, and blamed Reed Exhibition's gun ban. "The decision represents yet another attempt to undermine protections guaranteed to all Americans under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and it restricts the ability for law-abiding citizens to purchase legal firearms that are increasingly being used for hunting in a number of states. I encourage Reed Exhibitions to swiftly reverse its decision and for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to take steps to ensure that all future events of this nature held at the Farm Show Complex are held in a manner that respects the Second Amendment rights of all Pennsylvanians."

The National Wild Turkey Federation, a group supported by turkey hunters, said they were boycotting to raise awareness of the threat against the Second Amendment. "We feel strongly about the importance of the Second Amendment in pursuit of our mission of preserving our hunting heritage," said Skip Motts, president of the NWTF Pennsylvania State Chapter.

Outcome: Show organizers have been forced to cancel.

Lesson learned and should be carefully observed by any politician in Washington is: Lay down with gun grabbers and lose Second Amendment supporters.

The Bill of Rights (the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution) are all unalienable rights, which meant that they are God-given, self-evident truths, natural rights that originated from God, the Bible and Natural Law and therefore can never be lawfully taken away by man or the State.

Be forewarned!  If your guns are taken from you once, they will take all your other freedoms away.  Never assume that the government can keep you safe.  In Australia they were promised safety if they gave up their guns.  It was the opposite.  Same is true in Great Britain, and every other place that the guns have been taken from the citizen.
