Junk Science Hamas Style

I am no longer surprised at the stupidity and willingly to convince the world every lie about Israel they can think of.  Whether it is aphrodisiac gum, stolen human organs, or the use of chemical weapons.  Today the latest Junk Science Claim is a doozy!  The Israelis can manufacture Earthquakes.  Earthquakes powerful enough to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Ismail Radwan, Minister of Religious Affairs in Gaza's Hamas government, claims that Israel is trying to cause an artificial earthquake to totally collapse the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. According to Radwan, Israel is attempting to do so to establish the Third Temple.

The comments came at an event organized by female students of the College for Professional Applied Sciences. In response to the supposed "earthquake attack," Radwan called for a general national enlistment to the military, and to support the mosque by having fixed presence at the site.

Radwan said through repeated Jewish access to the Temple Mount, as well as "excavations and criminal acts," the Israeli "occupation" has "arrived at the stage of accustoming Palestinians, Arabs and Muslim to accept the existing reality so as to implement their goals to destroy the mosque and build the supposed Temple."

The minister blamed peace talks and security arrangements between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) as providing cover for the "criminal acts" on the Temple Mount.

Regardless of Hamas's fantastic scenarios, Israel is facing a real earthquake danger. In October, the Home Front Minister MK Gilad Erdan (Likud) warned that a major earthquake is looming that could potentially kill 7,000 Israelis.

The fact is that Israel is on the tail end of the Great Rift Valley.  The Israel Plate is grinding along the Arabian Plate. Sooner or later there WILL be a major (6+ or above) earthquake.  With all the digging under the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque done by the Muslims, I would be very surprised if they didn't collapse upon themselves.  One could then say it was the Hand of G-d.  And it would be.

On a happier note, Israel is the first non-European nation to be granted full membership into CERN.  The Fakistinians have not yet asked demanded for membership into CERN.  They will as soon as they discover a Physicist that is Fakistinian.

That is the official conclusion by the British medical journal BMJ.

(CNN) -- A now-retracted British study that linked autism to childhood vaccines was an "elaborate fraud" that has done long-lasting damage to public health, a leading medical publication reported Wednesday.

An investigation published by the British medical journal BMJ concludes the study's author, Dr. Andrew Wakefield, misrepresented or altered the medical histories of all 12 of the patients whose cases formed the basis of the 1998 study -- and that there was "no doubt" Wakefield was responsible.  (Emphasis Mine)

"It's one thing to have a bad study, a study full of error, and for the authors then to admit that they made errors," Fiona Godlee, BMJ's editor-in-chief, told CNN. "But in this case, we have a very different picture of what seems to be a deliberate attempt to create an impression that there was a link by falsifying the data."

Britain stripped Wakefield of his medical license in May. Efforts to reach him for comment were unsuccessful Wednesday.

"Meanwhile, the damage to public health continues, fueled by unbalanced media reporting and an ineffective response from government, researchers, journals and the medical profession," BMJ states.

The now-discredited paper panicked many parents and led to a sharp drop in the number of children getting the vaccine that prevents measles, mumps and rubella. Vaccination rates dropped sharply in Britain after its publication, falling as low as 80% by 2004. Measles cases have gone up sharply in the ensuing years.

In the United States, more cases of measles were reported in 2008 than in any other year since 1997, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. More than 90% of those infected had not been vaccinated or their vaccination status was unknown, the CDC reported.

"But perhaps as important as the scare's effect on infectious disease is the energy, emotion and money that have been diverted away from efforts to understand the real causes of autism and how to help children and families who live with it," the BMJ editorial states.

Wakefield has been unable to reproduce his results in the face of criticism, and other researchers have been unable to match them. Most of his co-authors withdrew their names from the study in 2004 after learning he had had been paid by a law firm that intended to sue vaccine manufacturers -- a serious conflict of interest he failed to disclose. After years on controversy, the Lancet, the prestigious journal that originally published the research, retracted Wakefield's paper last February.

The series of articles launched Wednesday are investigative journalism, not results of a clinical study. The writer, Brian Deer, said Wakefield "chiseled" the data before him, "falsifying medical histories of children and essentially concocting a picture, which was the picture he was contracted to find by lawyers hoping to sue vaccine manufacturers and to create a vaccine scare."

According to BMJ, Wakefield received more than 435,000 pounds ($674,000) from the lawyers. Godlee said the study shows that of the 12 cases Wakefield examined in his paper, five showed developmental problems before receiving the MMR vaccine and three never had autism.

"It's always hard to explain fraud and where it affects people to lie in science," Godlee said. "But it does seem a financial motive was underlying this, both in terms of payments by lawyers and through legal aid grants that he received but also through financial schemes that he hoped would benefit him through diagnostic and other tests for autism and MMR-related issues."

Dr. Max Wiznitzer, a pediatric neurologist at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, said the reporting "represents Wakefield as a person where the ends justified the means." But he said the latest news may have little effect on those families who still blame vaccines for their children's conditions.

"Unfortunately, his core group of supporters is not going to let the facts dissuade their beliefs that MMR causes autism," Wiznitzer said. "They need to be open-minded and examine the information as everybody else."

Wakefield's defenders include David Kirby, a journalist who has written extensively on autism. He told CNN that Wakefield not only has denied falsifying data, he has said he had no way to do so.

"I have known him for a number of years. He does not strike me as a charlatan or a liar," Kirby said. If the BMJ allegations are true, then Wakefield "did a terrible thing" -- but he added, "I personally find it hard to believe that he did that."

A group of lawyers ambulance chasers track down Andrew Wakefield, offer him $674,000 and he miraculously arrives at the conclusion they want so to sue the vaccine makers aka Big Pharma. I wonder how many scientists they approached with this scheme to DEFRAUD these companies before stumbling upon Wakefield?

Of course David Kirby will defend Wakefield to the hilt. This so-called journalist is more interested in bringing down BIG PHARMA with his writtings at The Huffington Post and more importantly at Evidence of Harm.  A site devoid of all rational scientific thought.  Just like the #1 poster girl for this fraud: Jenny McCarthy.

Israel Distributes Libido-Increasing Gum In Gaza

Thus is the latest claim by the idiots of Hamas. Will their ignorance and hatred of Jews ever end?

Is Israel targeting the Palestinian population in Gaza by distributing libido-increasing chewing gum in the Strip? A Hamas police spokesman in the Gaza Strip Islam Shahwan claimed Monday that Israeli intelligence operatives are attempting to "destroy" the young generation by distributing such materials in the coastal enclave.

Shahwan said that the police got their hands on gum that increases sexual desire that, according to him, reaches merchants in the Strip by way of the border crossings. According to him, a Palestinian drug dealer admitted that he sold products that increase sex drive. The dealer said that he received the materials from Israeli sources by way of the Karni crossing.

A number of suspects have been arrested.

The affair was exposed when a Palestinian filed a complaint that his daughter chewed the aforementioned gum and experienced the dubious side effects.

Shahwan even claimed that Israeli intelligence operatives encourage dealers in Gaza to distribute the gum for free.

In the past there have been incidents around the world of people tampering with gum, candy, postage stamps, etc... The drug usually associated with these tamperings is LSD. But this is a first. Now it seems that gum laced with Viagra is being funneled into Gaza in the hopes of driving the young people there wild with sexual desire.

Now ask yourself this:

If Israelis have developed a chewing gum delivery system for Viagra, why aren't they flooding the market with it? Why are they sending it free of charge to Gaza? Why would they target young people instead of older men who would be their target customers.

The idea of Viagra chewing gum is valid. Wrigley's is working on such a product. But the idea that Israelis would send such a gum to turn the young people of Gaza into Sex Maniacs is just plain silly.

Then again Hamas' running of Gaza is silly, and very dangerous.

"Women Are Subject to Menstruation, When Their Endurance and Mental Capacity for Concentration Are Diminished"

Abd Al-Majid Al-Zindani: "Allah said, with regard to women bearing witness: 'If two men are not available, then a man and two women, such as you choose as witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her.' Some heretics – communists and other atheists – ridiculed [this verse], saying: How come a man's testimony equals that of two women? They used this to mock [the Muslims].

When a woman witnesses a killing or an accident, she becomes frightened, moves away, and sometimes even faints, and she cannot even watch the incident. [...]

Who is Abdul Majeed al-Zindani? Is he a leading neurologist or pathologist in Yemen? What medical school did he graduate from? Has he ever won the Nobel Award in Medicine? No. He is not a doctor, scientist, experimenter. He is a Muslim cleric with a big mouth and small brain. He is basically uneducated and illiterate in all but the Koran. But he speaks to a large group of idiots Muslims who are so scared and unsure of their manhood, that they have to degrade others to boost their ego. How pathetic is that!

There is a term for this thinking: JUNK SCIENCE! Science that is based on no logical or experimental assumptions. Normally this would fall into the same scientific category as Bigfoot, and Space Aliens, but not when it comes from the Muslim world. More and more doctors in the United States have been trained in Muslim countries. Nations in which the standard of medical care and compassion is inadequate to say the least. And each one was raised with a faith that considers women, non-Muslims and gays as less than a dog or pig. They are to be treated as if they were the scum of the Earth.

And these poorly trained doctors are going to be the backbone of Barack Obama's new health care system. I wonder if you're scared yet? I am!

A Cure For AIDS Islamic Style

Hamas TV Scientist Dr. Ahmad Al-Muzain: Bayer Invented Its Cure for AIDS on the Basis of a Hadith by Prophet Muhammad about the Wings of Flies

Following are excerpts from a program featuring Dr. Ahmad Al-Muzain, a Palestinian expert on Koranic science, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on September 19, 2008:

Ahmad Al-Muzain: The Prophet Muhammad said: "If a fly falls into your drink, you should dip it in the drink, and then dispose of the fly, because one of its wings bears a disease, and the other wing bears the cure." This hadith was included in the Al-Bukhari collection. This hadith makes it absolutely clear that the Prophet Muhammad confirmed a clear scientific fact: If a fly falls into a vessel – before a person drinks from this vessel, he should dip the fly in his drink, before disposing of it. Then he should drink the beverage, because it won't do him any harm. Why? Because one of the fly's wings bears the disease, and the other one bears the cure.

In Germany, the Church paid a very large sum of money to two scientists to disprove this hadith. Since this hadith appears in the Al-Bukhari collection, we cannot claim that it is unreliable or anything, and so they thought that if they could prove that this hadith contradicts science, they would be dealing a devastating blow to Islam.

The scientists took samples from the wings of flies, and began to examine them, analyze them, and take samples from their surface, in order to expose what existed on each wing. The devastating result constituted a slap in the face. The truth was devastating, and it backfired on them. The two scientists reached an astounding conclusion. They said that on one of its wings, the fly carries a huge amount of different types of bacteria, which adhere to it when it lands on rotting pieces of food that it eats. As for the other wing, Allah has given the fly the great ability to carry antidotes to these microbes.

When Bayer, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, learned about this study, it derived great benefit from it. It established biological breeding farms, where they would raise flies and extract antibiotics from their wings – the strongest antibiotics in the whole world. This antibiotic was made into a course of five pills, which is given to the patients, and it is used – believe it or not, my brothers – to treat AIDS patients. It strengthens their immune system, and destroys all types of microbes with which they are afflicted. This is all thanks to the power of this antibiotic. Obviously, this antibiotic is very expensive, and one course costs more than $500, but it is very strong and effective. How did they discover it? From this hadith.

Did the Prophet Muhammad have labs to carry out research? Did Abu Bakr know anything about entomology, parasitology, or bacteriology? Of course not. Absolutely not. So how did they make all these scientific accomplishments? The only logical conclusion is that this science was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the Creator.

When asked about this Bayer laughed at it. When one tries to find any scientific research done on the wings of flies in connection to disease either in Germany or any where else, one comes up empty. Yet Abu Bakr seems to have found one that the multitude of experts in the fields of entomolgy, parasitology and bacteriology can't find, duplicate or laugh over it. But if Abu Bakr says it is so, then it must be. For it is in the Koran (that book of lies) and therefore must be the only truth in the world.

It is funny how on the West Bank and Gaza AIDS in on the rise. Instead of teaching their people the truth about the disease, they have taught them that you can only get AIDS from shaking hands with a Jew.

If it wasn't so sad, I would be laughing at this. But now thousands of AIDS suffers will forgo standard medical treatment in favor of a quack cure. And I wonder how many people in the Muslim world will now believe this? We will see AIDS numbers climb in Muslim nations then.

Junk Science is just that: JUNK! There is no merit in it. If the person extolling the idea or product refuses to give you the name of the paper in which the study is published, the name or names of the scientists involved in it or tells you that you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, RUN LIKE THE WIND AWAY FROM THEM! Your life is more important than any miracle cure that isn't one.

And please, don't start dipping flies into your drinks. They do carry diseases and do not carry the cures.
