Surprise Military Drill

Today the IDF started a surprise military drill on the Syrian/Lebanese border Debka.com reported.  Add the call up notice for thousands of reservists and the intelligence community can see the nervousness that Israel feels.  The possibility that the violence that has infested Syria will spill over to Israel as the Islamic Extremists get it into their brains to try to "Liberate Palestine".
Israel’s armed forces launched a snap division-scale drill along the full length of the Syrian and Lebanese borders Tuesday, April 30, with call-up orders for thousands of reservists, debkafile’s military sources report.

It was taken into account that the unannounced exercise would send military tensions shooting up on the volatile Israeli, Jordanian, Syrian and Lebanese borders. Moscow, Tehran, Damascus and Hizballah headquarters would assume that Israel is massing troops in advance of US military intervention in Syria.

Its timing is also connected to the speech Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah is scheduled to deliver Tuesday night in case he announces military steps against Israel.

Our Washington sources report that President Barack Obama is poised for a momentous decision on whether to pursue military action against Syrian military targets, including Bashar Assad’s chemical weapons facilities.

These appear to be his three primary options:
  1. An American aerial bombardment of the Syrian military bases and facilities which are the mainstay which keep Bashar Assad in power;
  2. A missile strike on his chemical weapons from the sea and from ground bases in Europe and the Middle East;
  3. The deployment of 20,000 American troops to the Jordanian-Syrian frontier.
Alternatively, Obama may choose to combine elements of all three options and activate them simultaneously.

The surprise Israeli military exercise and concentration of reserve units along the borders of Syria and Lebanon place the IDF including its air and naval branches on the ready for a role in a potential American military operation against Syria.

The Israeli military also stands prepared to repel possible reprisals by Iran, Syria or Hizballah against US, Jordanian or Israeli troops.
Today President Barack Hussein Obama's White House has backtracked on his pledge to stop Syria from using chemical weapons.  And today Israel is calling up reservists.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Obama's word is worth nothing and he will willingly allow any dictator to murder his own people with any means at his disposal.

Another Example of How Our Miseducation System is Failing Our Kids

Stolen From Stop The ACLU

This goes under the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot category.
Remember how you were taught in school how to add a series of numbers? Remember how you were told to write each set of numbers on top of each other, to stack them so you could then add them together to get a total?

Kids aren’t taught that any more. In fact, the system of “cubes, sheets, sticks and dots” they are taught now is so convoluted, involved and confusing that it often results in wrong answers. But correct answers isn’t the goal for today’s fetid school systems. “The process” is all that is cared about.
If you aren’t infuriated by this video…

These are unionized teachers perpetrating this crime on our kids, folks.

Remember that.
I don't know about you, but after the first 30 seconds I wanted to find the teacher and punch him or her out.  And we are suppose to train these children to be the engineers, doctors and scientists of the future.  Really?

We Will Not Expose Ourselves As An Easy Prey!

Stolen From Patriot's Corner

This afternoon The Mad Jewess did a post at her site. A letter from a retired Army officer to U.S. Senator John Cornyn concerning "the arming of the DHS for war against the citizens of our nation."

I am taking it a step further and posting the whole letter here because a number of my readers don't read links. My head swims when I think of what has transpired in America just since he wrote the letter on March 23, 2013.

Capt. Terry M. Hestilow, U.S. Army, Retired - posted on his facebook page - red highlights mine -
The Honorable Senator John Cornyn, State of Texas
United States Senate
517 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510

Re: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and that agencies preparation for war against citizens of the United States of America.

Dear Senator Cornyn,

It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America. To date, DHS has been unwilling to provide to you, the elected representatives of the People, justification for recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems, when, in fact, the DHS has no war mission or war making authority within the limits of the United States of America.

Significant is the fact that at the same time the Obama administration is arming his DHS for war within the limits of the United States against the People of the United States in accordance with his 2008 campaign speech claiming,
“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military]”--Candidate Barack Obama, 2008.
The Obama administration is deliberately defunding, overextending, and hollowing the Department of Defense; the only legitimate agency of the U.S. government with a war mission.

This act of the Obama administration stands as a glaring threat of war against our nation’s citizens! This act of the Obama administration can only be understood as a tyrannical threat against the Constitution of the United States of America! If left unresolved, the peace loving citizens who have sworn to defend the United States Constitution “against all enemies, both foreign and domestic” are left no option except to prepare to defend themselves, and the U.S. Constitution, against this Administration’s “coup” against the People and the foundations of liberty fought for and defended for the past 238 years. We have no choice if we honor our oaths.

The only proper response to this threat against the American people is for the representatives of the People, the members of the U.S. House and Senate, to demand in clear terms that the Administration cannot ignore, that the Department of Homeland Security immediately surrender their newly appropriated weapons of war to the Department of Defense (DoD). Further, since the DHS has assumed a position in the Administration to enforce the tyrannical acts of this president against the People of the United States against the limits of the United States Constitution, it remains for the United States Congress to exercise its limiting power in the balancing of powers established by our founding fathers, to disestablish and dissolve the DHS as soon as possible. One needs only to look to the rise of Adolf Hitler, and his associated DHS organizations, the SA and the SS, of 1932-1934, to see the outcome of allowing an agency of government this kind of control over the free citizens of a nation. The people of Germany could not have imagined, until it was too late, the danger of allowing a tyrant this kind of power. We must not be so naïve as to think it will not happen to us as well if we remain passive toward this power grab by the Marxist Obama administration!

Finally, for more than two centuries the nation has lived in peace at home because of the protections of our legitimate military and the many appropriate state and federal law enforcement agencies, supported by Constitutional courts. We stand today at a cross-road. Will we allow this present Administration to overthrow our United States Constitution and its legal processes to amend injustices, or, will we honor our obligations to defend the Constitution against a “domestic” enemy? Our Constitution lays out the proper methods of resolving our differences; and it does not include its overthrow by a rogue agency of a Marxist leadership at home. You, sir, are our constitutionally elected agent to defend our Constitution at home. We are counting upon you. We remain aware, however, of this present threat and will not expose ourselves as an easy prey to the authors of the destruction of our nation.

I know that this letter demands much of you. We elected you because we, the citizens of the State of Texas, believe that you are up to the task at hand and will, against all threats, honor your oath and office. We are also writing to your fellow members of the House and Senate to stand in integrity with the Constitution and against this present threat by the Obama administration and his DHS.

We refuse to surrender our Constitution or our nation!

Resolved,

What Obama Cannot Say Latma Gets It Right

It is impossible to get President Barack Hussein Obama to say the words "Islamic Terrorism".  And that stupidity has trickled down to every branch of the US government.  The Military, Justice Department, FBI, etc...  But Latma TV has figured it out!

Happy Arbor Day

Today is Arbor Day.  The day we honor the Earth by planting a tree.  A tree that which will grow and shade your home.  A fruit tree will provide you nourishment.  A shade tree will lower the heat in the summer by 20 degrees.  A tree that provides homes to birds and squirrels.

Trees --- Joyce Kilmer

I Think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

I know this artist, Cat Stevens is very controversial.  But this song was written before his conversion to Islam and is a very beautiful one.  Enjoy it.

Norman Finkelstein at Cerritos College

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

Refers to Obama as a "Murderer"

On April 23, I attended an event at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California in which ex-professor Norman Finkelstein was interviewed by Cerritos professor John Haas of the Global Consortium for a Sustainable Peace, which acted as host. The event was also sponsored by LA Jews for Peace and the Levantine Center of Los Angeles, both pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel organizations.

The event began about 20 minutes late as Dr Haas explained he had picked Finkelstein up at the train station, that he was wearing shorts, and he was changing clothes. Once Finkelstein had changed (into jeans), he entered the room and the event began with both gentlemen sitting at a table on the stage. I would guess the crowd was 150-200, though many left for class before the event ended.

I am posting the complete video, which I took. Finkelstein, as is his wont, talked of many things and rambled on in answer to Dr Haas questions. He talked of his parents, what they had taught him as Holocaust survivors, and his commitment to justice over his life. Not surprisingly, the event ran over the allotted time. To me, the most notable things he said were that President Obama was a "cynical narcissist" over his public statements of support for Israel and was a "murderer" over his use of drones to kill terrorists. He repeated the word, "murderer" a couple of times for emphasis and refused to back down from it during the Q and A when an African-American audience member asked him on what basis he called the president those names.

His main thesis was that increasing numbers of American Jews are distancing themselves from Israel because of that nation's practices. He quoted the Jewish membership in the International Solidarity Movement, Jewish Voice for Peace, and many Jewish youths who went to the West Bank to work with Palestinians. He gave as reasons the fact that Jews are overwhelmingly liberal and have heavily supported Obama in both elections.

During the Q and A (after the 4-minute mark in video two), I asked him about his appearance at UC Irvine on January 31, 2009 at an event called "Whither the Levant", in which he was part of a panel diuscussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the wake of the Gaza fighting. At that time, I had sent up a written question to the panel, which was given to him to answer. The question was this (I am paraphrasing):

"During recent protests against Israel in places like Ft Lauderdale, LA, San Francisco and Toronto, some people were shouting things, like 'Jews go back to the ovens', 'Long Live Hitler', 'Go Nazi Germany', etc." Do you condemn those statements and don't you think they discredit your cause?"

I continued.

"In your response, you said that it wasn't your cause, you didn't know about these incidents, you thought they were greatly exaggerated or manufactured by Zionists masquerading as Arabs. Yet these videos are all over YouTube, and I assume you have had time to check them out in the last 4 years. Do you stand by your statement then or would you like to revise that statement? "

To this, Finkelsein said that he still had not seen those videos,  heard those things, nor had he ever heard things said like that at protests that he had attended or participated in. He then objected to my use of the word "fighting" to refer to the Israeli-Palestinian fighting in Gaza during that time frame. He stated that it was not fighting, but a massacre and compared it to a boy setting ants on fire by placing a magnifying glass over them in the sun (supposedly quoting an Israeli soldier). He quoted the 4,000+ number of Palestinians who were killed as compared to 13 Israelis.

This was the same question I posed to George Galloway at UC Irvine in 2009.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2009/05/george-galloway-meets-liar-himself.html

As for the rest, I will let the reader watch the  video of Finkelstein's talk (if you are a glutton for punishment).

After the talk, a student reporter for the campus paper asked to interview me, and I gave him my (negative) assessment of Finkelstein and the forces that he has aligned himself with. While I was being interviewed, a man who identified himself as a professor at California State University at Los Angeles and a member of Jewish Voice for Peace ( I am omitting his name.) came up and took exception to my use of the phrases, "Pro-Palestinian" and "anti-Israel', which he called "intellectual skulduggery". After that auspicious start, things got a little more spirited when I told him what I thought of Jewish Voice for Peace, their disruption of Bibi Netanyahu's speech in New Orleans a couple of years back, as well as the offensive statements about free speech made by two of their representatives, Rachel Roberts and Matan Cohen at UC Irvine.

I have one comment I want to make about Finkelstein's remarks. I found his comments about President Obama to be unprofessional and offensive. God knows I am no admirer of President Obama. I believe he is cynical and narcissistic and have said so on this site. I do not think that he is a murderer, however, because of his use of drone attacks even if, as Finkelstein pointed out, he has chosen targets personally. I think for someone who calls himself a professor to make these statements about the President in front of a college audience is irresponsible. As a teacher,  I wouldn't even call Obama cynical and narcissistic in front of that particular venue. But that is Finkelstein's style. I hope it left the appropriate impression on the student audience.

Of course, not mentioned during the day was the fact that "Professor" Finkelstein has no university employment having been canned by DePaul University. Thus, he is as the UC Irvine Muslim Student Union advertises him, an "independent scholar with a PhD from Princeton".

Wednesday's Hero: Sgt. Anund C. Roark

Sgt. Anund C. Roark

Sgt. Anund C. Roark
20 years old from Vallejo, California
Company C, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division
February 17, 1948 - May 16, 1968

U.S. Army

The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pride in presenting the Medal of Honor (Posthumously) to Sergeant Anund Charles Roark, United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty while serving with Company C, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, in action against enemy aggressor forces at Kontum Province, Republic of Vietnam, on 16 May 1968. Sergeant Roark was the point squad leader of a small force which had the mission of rescuing 11 men in a hilltop observation post under heavy attack by a company-size force, approximately 1,000 meters from the battalion perimeter. As lead elements of the relief force reached the besieged observation post, intense automatic weapons fire from enemy occupied bunkers halted their movement. Without hesitation, Sergeant Roark maneuvered his squad, repeatedly exposing himself to withering enemy fire to hurl grenades and direct the fire of his squad to gain fire superiority and cover the withdrawal of the outpost and evacuation of its casualties. Frustrated in their effort to overrun the position, the enemy swept the hilltop with small arms and volleys of grenades. Seeing a grenade land in the midst of his men, Sergeant Roark, with complete disregard for his safety, hurled himself upon the grenade, absorbing its blast with his body. Sergeant Roark's magnificent leadership and dauntless courage saved the lives of many of his comrades and were the inspiration for the successful relief of the outpost. His actions which culminated in the supreme sacrifice of his life were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service, and reflect great credit on himself and the United States Army.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives just so others may get to enjoy freedom. For that I am proud to call them Hero.

Norman Finkelstein Refers to Obama as a "Murderer"

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

I just returned from Cerritos College in Norwalk, California where I listened to another boring lecture by ex-professor Norman Finkelstein on the evils of Israel. I will be posting a more complete report tonight or tomorrow with a complete video. In the meantime, I thought it was significant enough to report that Finkelstein referred to President Obama as a "murderer" (over his use of drones). He repeated that a couple of times for emphasis. He also referred to Obama as "cynical" and "narcissistic" because of his statements supporting Israel.

Tamerlan Tsarvaev's Friend Murdered - Friends Suspect Tsarnaev Involvement

Tamerlan Tsarnaev is quoted saying he didn't have one friend in the U.S., but at one time he did have one friend who ended up with his throat slit, along with two others in a still unsolved murder. An acquaintance from the gym where Tamerlan spent so much time is saying since the Marathon bombings, several have admitted circumstances were strange surrounding the death of Brendan Mess. According to "Ray" from the gym, Tamerlan and Brendan were very close, yet Tamerlan didn't attend the memorial service or the funeral and may have stopped visiting the gym. Look at this:

The business owner who was traveling in Thailand at the time said he received an e-mail saying Tsarnaev had been in, but acted rudely and disrespectfully to other gym-users.   'It was a clear indication that something was up,' Allan told the Boston Globe. 'He was becoming a complete [expletive].'

According to "Ray" the original thought was that that Brendan's Somalian girlfriend committed the murders, but also said Tamerlan and the girl had a good relationship and often talked about "religious things." Let's switch to Tamerlan's cousin, Zaur:
'[Tamerlan] was always getting in trouble. He was never happy, never cheering, never smiling. He used to strike his girlfriend. . . . He was not a nice man.'
Brendan Mess, along with Raphael Teken and Erik Weissman were murdered on September 12, 2011. They were found with marijuana covering their bodies and throats slit with a weapon and $5000 left at the scene. Source: DailyMail Read more at BuzzFeed

Happy Earth Day? REPOST

Today is Earth Day. The day we are suppose to remember the planet we live on and help clean it up. Earth Day is a made-up holiday started by some Hippies back in the 1970's as the birthday of the environmental movement.

I don't celebrate Earth Day. I don't need a day to celebrate the world. I celebrate Arbor Day. It is the United States' original Earth Day. Arbor Day this year is Friday, April 26.

What is Arbor Day you ask? I'll be glad to tell you.

The History of Arbor Day
The idea for Arbor Day originally came from Nebraska. A visit to Nebraska today wouldn't disclose that the state was once a treeless plain. Yet it was the lack of trees there that led to the founding of Arbor Day in the 1800s.

Among pioneers moving into the Nebraska Territory in 1854 was J. Sterling Morton from Detroit. He and his wife were lovers of nature, and the home they established in Nebraska was quickly planted with trees, shrubs and flowers.N

On January 4, 1872, Morton first proposed a tree-planting holiday to be called “Arbor Day” at a meeting of the State Board of Agriculture. The date was set for April 10, 1872. Prizes were offered to counties and individuals for planting properly the largest number of trees on that day. It was estimated that more than one million trees were planted in Nebraska on the first Arbor Day.

Arbor Day is celebrated all over the world. What started in Nebraska in 1872 is celebrated by the following countries:
Australia, Brazil, Barbados, Bulgaria, Canada, China, The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianna Islands, Germany, Guam, Holland, Iceland, India, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malta, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, St. Maarten, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Togo, Tunisia, United Kingdom.

As a child my school in Brooklyn planted a tree each year. We had an assembly, special presentations about trees and the planet, and a special ceremony to plant the tree. Without the hoopla and commercialism of Earth Day. I still remember those occasions with joy and a few tears. Today's children won't have such fond memories. They will be lectured to on how they are destroying the planet. How they have to sacrifice their lifestyle to Save the Earth. A pity. A simple tree planting ceremony has more power than any lecturer could.

I ask you. On April 26 won't you plant a tree? Keep an American Tradition alive. A tree makes your property look good, brings up your property's value, helps to clean the air, and yes, it is huggable.

Thoughts On Boston!

Last night around 8 pm EDT the second suspect in the Boston Marathon Massacre was apprehended.  While I am thrilled that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured alive, I was dismayed at what I witnessed through out that day.

We on the Right claim to support the Constitution and the rights it upholds, yet we were willing to relinquish those rights for a little safety.  I witnessed citizen after citizen step aside as the police just walked into their homes (Without even asking permission.) and search the premises.  What if there was something they didn't like in these homes?  Would they look the other way?  I think not.  Suppose someone said no?  Would he or she be arrested for demanding their 4th Amendment rights?  And we still have this right:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
What if next time it isn't a terrorist but the government looking for our guns.  Will we just allow them to enter and search or will we demand a search warrant?  I think by the time the government gets around to that we will be accepting of this behavior.

I keep hearing about how wonderful the police were able to track down Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.  But in looking back I see it wasn't police work but a citizen who stepped outside to have a smoke and discovered blood in his shed, bloody clothing on the ground, and the suspect hiding in his boat.  And he did exactly what a citizen should do and notified the police.  BTW Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was discovered outside the "Quarantined Zone" only a few blocks from where his brother was caught.  Perhaps if the police hadn't shut down the city Dzhokhar Tsarnaev might have been caught sooner.

While I understand the joy and relief of the people of Boston, I found their street celebration a little on the wrong side of decency.  While they were celebrating there was a family mourning the loss of a policeman and another family praying for the recovery of a second policeman.  I doubt any of those celebrating gave one thought to the families of the 2 men.

Let me state this:
I DO NOT CONDONE WHAT THE TSARNAEV BROTHERS DID!  IN FACT I CONDEMN BOTH OF THE MEN AND AM HORRIFIED BY THEIR CRIME!
But we are a nation of laws.  I know that like Timothy McVeigh before him, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be given a fair trial (Probably out of the Boston area.), a last meal (I suggest Pork Chops smothered in Bacon.) and a needle in the arm.  The Boston Marathon will run again next year and for years afterwards.  The police will have a perimeter in which backpacks and large bags will not be allowed in the area, like Times Square on New Years Eve.  But the victims of his crimes will be coping with their wounds and scars all their lives.

I know in writing this I will make many enemies on the Right.  But sometimes we have to speak the truth as we see it.  We have won a small victory in the War on Terror, but will we lose our freedoms to win this war.

Remembering Oklahoma City

On April 19, 1995 Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols used a bomb made with fertilizer and diesel fuel in a rented Ryder truck they parked in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City to blow up the Murrah Building. The explosion claimed 168 lives, including 19 children under the age of 6, and injured more than 680 people. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius, destroyed or burned 86 cars, and shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings.

This was the worst terrorist attack on the United States until September 11, 2001.

Where Do We Go From Boston?

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

Dzhokhar Tsarbaev placing his bomb near 8-year-old victim Martin Richard
-Photo from Jihad Watch

I decided to hold off on commenting on the Boston Marathon attack until we knew who carried it out and why. On one side, the media was speculating that it might be tax-protesters, Tea Partiers, right-wing militia men, or white racists. Others were guessing it was Islamist jihadists. I figured it was the responsible thing not to place blame on anyone until we knew. I think (I hope) I did a pretty good job of that.

But now we pretty much know the main facts-keeping in mind that no trial has taken place and nobody has been convicted.

The big question now is whether the two brothers had accomplices, were acting in concert with overseas terrorist elements, or were simply acting on their own. But the motive is pretty clear. This was an act of violent jihad.

First, we must keep in mind that it would be wrong to take out our anger on innocent Muslims in the US. I have said that many times before and repeat it again. We need their help.

Yet, we must continue to have an open and honest discussion not only about the true nature of Islam as a political ideology, but the wisdom of allowing hundreds of thousands of Muslims to immigrate to the West, in many cases from regions that are full of violence-which pretty much covers the entire Islamic world. True, many peaceful Muslims have come here to escape that violence. Peoples of other religions have come to escape Islamist persecution. It is a mess.

Here we have two ethnic Chechens from neighboring Dagestan. Chechnya is a region in Southern Russia that is primarily Muslim, in rebellion against Russia, responsible for many terrorist acts, and now being infused with Wahhabist elements.

Not exactly a favorable place to find immigrants to the US. Add that to the insane project that brought some 80,000 Somalis to the US in the 1990s, and explain to me why it is bigoted to question this policy.

So while the left and the media continue to label others as Islamophobes, we are mourning the deaths of an 8-year old boy, a 29-year-old woman, a Chinese student and a campus police officer killed by two Chechen immigrants who were clearly carrying out an act of jihad.

As I write, the major Islamic organizations in the US; CAIR, MPAC, ICNA, ISNA and MAS, are scrambling to find a way to react to the latest news. Up to today, they have been condemning the act, offering prayers, and complaining about alleged backlash toward Muslims. Here is the latest statement from CAIR (Southern California) director Hussam Ayloush:

Meanwhile, national CAIR director Nihad Awad has issued another one of his blanket statements condemning terrorism "in all its forms" (which means he equates Israel's actions and the US military actions overseas to Islamic terror.)

Let me be clear; I consider each of these organizations to be subversive, Islamist organizations, who lie through their teeth to us. They are a part of the Muslim Brotherhood, and I would call on decent American Muslims to disassociate themselves from these groups. Hopefully, they do not speak for the majority of American Muslims. (I have no idea.)

We have an inescapable duty before us if we want to protect the American people from future attacks-and there will be future attacks. Look how many the FBI has managed to thwart already. Look at Ft Hood. I could go on and on. We currently have an immigration reform debate ongoing in Congress. In addition to the "reform" bill that is being considered, we must also address the wisdom in allowing a continued flow of Muslim immigrant into our country by the hundreds of thousands. We have the Constitutional right to scrutinize would-be immigrants. No non-US citizen has a "right" to come here. Until this madness ceases-and it shows no sign of ceasing anytime soon- we should tell our "allies" in the Islamic world that we are suspending immigration and even visitor visas until this stops. Let the various governments deal with it in their own countries and I don't care too much how they do it.

This would, of course, not go over well with these governments and their populations. So what? They hate us anyway. It is past time to remove ourselves from this part of the world. That means we have to become energy sufficient. We have all the resources beneath us right here at home. We just have to get them and tell the environmental lobby to take a leap.

It is also time to face the truth about the duplicitous Saudi Arabia, which uses its oil wealth to finance terror, build radical, Wahhabist mosques in the US, and create Middle East studies departments in our universities devoted to indoctrinating students and destroying Israel.

In addition, it is high time our leaders face the truth about Islam as a political ideology. If we cannot identify or will not identify our enemy, how can we hope to defeat it? People like Robert Spencer, Pam Geller, Steve Emerson, and many others have been demonized because they put out the facts about what is happening all over the world.

This should not be a struggle against innocent Muslims. Most of them here in the US are caught in the middle of a civilizational war. But when you add the persecution of religious minorities from Pakistan to Iran to Egypt to 9-11, Ft Hood and Boston (among others), the conclusion is becoming inescapable.

In the meantime, we await the next attack.
