Second Day Round Up

On Tuesday the theme at the Moonbat Express Democratic Convention was domestic policy. Various speakers tried to rally the troops on issues like health care, gay rights, the economy, and abortion (they are strictly for it). The highlight of the evening was not the Keynote address by Mark Warner where he kept trying to link John McCain with George W. Bush, but an address by former First Lady and Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. While her words said that she fully supported Barack Hussein Obama, her body language didn't. For every time she said his name, a false smile came upon her face, and her body froze for a second. Just a little thing, but it speaks that the feud between the camps was not fully over. When she spoke about her husbands legacy, she was full of joy. Her smile was not forced, her body was relaxed. When she spoke about her campaign, her smile was bittersweet, and her body was limp. Never once in her speech did she release her delegates. A slight oversight maybe, but still a major slip up.

Each night of a convention is suppose to build the energy level up. It is suppose to reach a fever pitch on the final night when the candidate is suppose to speak. I now know why Obama chose to speak at a venue for 70,000 and not at the convention venue. He knew that he could not get that level of energy up to what it should be. He needs the 68,000 screaming Obamamanics to have that excitement for the cameras.

Wednesday night Bill Clinton will be speaking. And a Roll Call of the States will be done to choose their nominee. The energy level should be high, but I have a sneaky suspicion that it is faltering. With an undercurrent of hostility from both the Obama supporters and Clinton supporters, the unity of the Democrats is in jeopardy. And that will help John McCain come November.

Last night Hillary Clinton asked:

I want you to think about your children and grandchildren come Election Day. Think about the choices your parents and grandparents made that had such a big impact on your life and on the life of our nation.

The answer to that is very simple. Vote for John McCain on November 4. He is the only candidate with the integrity and courage to lead this nation.
