Rachel Corrie was an American member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) who traveled to the Gaza Strip during the Second Intifada. She was killed by a Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozer operated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a protest against the destruction of Palestinian homes by the IDF in the Gaza Strip. The ISM maintains that Corrie was run over deliberately.

On March 16, 2003, Corrie was in a group of seven ISM activists (three British and four Americans) attempting to disrupt the actions of Israeli bulldozers. After several hours of activity in the combat zone, Corrie sat in the path of a bulldozer, where she was fatally injured. According to an ISM activist, Joseph Smith, Corrie fully expected the bulldozer to stop just in front of her.

Now why would she believe that? What about the bulldozers that attacked Jews in Jerusalem? Did those people think that they would stop? This is the result of a liberal education. Lack of intelligent thought.

Smith recounted afterward, "We were horribly surprised. They had been careful not to hurt us. They'd always stopped before." Corrie was transported to a Palestinian hospital. Accounts vary as to whether she died at the scene, in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, or at the hospital.

ISM eyewitnesses assert that the Israeli soldier driving the bulldozer deliberately ran Corrie over twice while she was acting as a human shield to prevent the demolition of the home of Samir Nasrallah, a local pharmacist.

That is what the left-wing Moonbats say happened. They'd always stopped before. Such cold heartless monsters these Israelis are. Stopping before they run over someone with a bulldozer.

Now here is the truth:

The 23-year-old Corrie, who traveled more than 8,000 miles from Olympia, Washington, was run over by a bulldozer when she tried to block the vehicle from demolishing a house in Rafah - a house where she had been staying.

The Israeli military ruled that this was an accident and ISM members accused the driver of murder even before the military could investigate the incident.

It may pass the "reasonable person" test that these ISM'ers knew very well they were helping terrorists. What would a reasonable person conclude?

Consider: The Israeli government revealed that 90 weapons-smuggling tunnels were constructed between the Egyptian border and Rafah. At least some of these tunnels were known to end underneath the homes in Rafah.

With 90 tunnels running underneath Rafah, there must have been lots of suspicious activity. Corrie and her friends would have had to be blind not to notice.

First, there are the tunnel connections underneath the homes. ISM'ers who stayed with Gazan families might have seen the tunnels themselves, or they at least spotted people going back and forth from the basement of the home.

During deliveries, people would have been hauling the goods out of the homes. Maybe Corrie herself did some heavy lifting.

The weapons then had to be transported somehow. Vehicles appear to be the natural choice. They would have had to be driven to the tunnel entrances and the weapons would need to be loaded onto the trucks.

Would you wonder about this kind of activity if you were personally on the scene?

Wherever ISM members mingled and even lived among Gaza and West Bank Arabs, it is possible that many of these Arabs were terrorists or helped the terrorists by feeding and housing them. The ISM'ers could have been at gatherings where they were introduced to suspected terrorists, heard stories about violent activities or noticed otherwise suspicious activity.

Actually, there is not only evidence, but proof of ISM aiding and abetting terrorists. When terrorists seized a church in Bethlehem, a few ISM'ers smuggled food to them.

If you put it all together, a reasonable person must conclude that the ISM members knew they were aiding and abetting terrorists.

The instant that it dawned on any of them that they might be helping terrorists was precisely the time for them to end their involvement. That's what a sincere and honorable person would have done.

Perhaps some ISM'ers dismissed such validation on grounds that this was the Arabs' only mechanism to resist Israel's brutal occupation. Which would excuse, in their warped minds, the murder of hundreds of innocent human beings.

Aiding and abetting terrorists. Smuggling weapons. Standing in front of bulldozers. I now understand that these are required classes at her alma mater: The Evergreen State College. A school that gives the usual Liberal Arts Moonbat experience and classes. Nothing really useful in today's world. They will probably be adding a degree in Jihad soon.

This woman died because her parents, her church and her schools failed to teach her the one necessary idea needed for today's world:

Flight 93: What if a Chinese rebel pulled off the biggest practical joke in history, and nobody got it?

In contrast to architect Paul Murdoch's dirty trick (trying to plant a terrorist memorial mosque on the Flight 93 crash site), Zhang Yimou's trick at the Beijing Olympics was moral, beautiful, and hilarious.

In case you missed it, the Beijing closing ceremony was an extended dramatization of the sexual act, ending with the fertilization of an egg.

Here is a still image of the final tableaux. After the circle of a thousand yellow-clad egg-girls has finally been penetrated by the couple hundred bouncing sperm-boys, the sperms rush to the center to form the nucleus of the fertilized egg, while the egg girls spread out to form the albumen:

No anatomical drawing needed to recognize this. Georgia O'Keefe would be scandalized.

But the performance wasn't just a sex scene followed by a biology class. The whole production is rendered out of passion and spirit, which connect to the wellspring of spirit in the middle part of the performance, where the circulatory "chi" of the Tai Chi masters is depicted by lit circular bicycles, circulating through bordered pathways around the still pulsating sexual center:



Chi bicycles circulate the pathways of spiritual energy before passing through the red center itself, presumably symbolizing the delivery of the chi to the zygotes.

The philosophy behind this representation may be Taoist or Buddhist, but the result is hardly distinguishable from Catholicism, which also sees the spirit inhabiting the body at conception (an idea that the Chi-Coms, with their policies of forced abortion, might prefer to suppress).

In all a beautiful, profound, life affirming, and wonderfully amusing practical joke. The fertilization of the egg at the end is meant to be the punch line, confirming everyone's suspicions about the obvious POSSIBLE sexual connotations of the preceding. This is not hidden folks. You are SUPPOSED to get it. (Original expose here.)

Choreographer Zhang Yimou is China 's most decorated film-maker, with a long history of butting heads with Communist censors, and of making sexy female-centered movies. It is not surprising that he would find a female-centered ode to procreation irresistible.

If some of his Communist overseers were in on the trick that is great news. If they have that much humor, maybe we can feel a bit better about them. The other possibility is that Yimou was able to keep his overseers from seeing enough of the production at once to figure it out. That would be a magnificent story of defiance, which will be lost if people don't get it!

Life affirming vs. murder-cult affirming

This makes two examples of semi-hidden symbolism in a mega-scale production. We have architect Paul Murdoch's dirty trick and Zhang Yimou's wonderful, beautiful and very funny trick. Zhang is the good twin to Murdoch’s evil twin. In contrast to Zhang's life-affirming symbolism, Murdoch is hiding the most disgusting tribute to evil and murder ever concocted.

If we can break the story of the good twin, and see Zhang's production properly celebrated for what it truly is, that spotlight will shine on the evil twin as well, and reveal him for what he truly is. Zhang's trick should also be a much easier story to break, and not just because half the world saw his production. If people are loathe to witness evil, either out of political calculation, or simply because they want to give the benefit of the doubt, everybody loves a good joke.

Zhang and Murdoch (Zhang is the surname) both needed for their symbolism to be semi-hidden. If it was too obvious, the hidden meaning would erupt in controversy and threaten the completion of the project. But the meaning couldn't be too hidden. Once the production is a fait accompli, people have to get it. The symbolic accomplishment has to be demonstrable, or all is for naught.

The positive morality of Zhang's display explains how he was able to get away with it. There can't be a woman in that fertilized egg scene who, after multiple rehearsals, did not know that she was dramatizing the fertilization of an egg. There cannot be a man on spring shoes who did not know he was playing a sperm, but because it was beautiful and fun, everyone was willing to go along with the joke.

Ditto for any Chi-Coms who figured it out (probably as the performance date loomed). And why not? With such a lovely trick, if it comes out that the party knew, it will be to their credit that they let it proceed.

These dynamics of positive morality are not available to Paul Murdoch. For his evil scheme to advance, he needs a very different moral dynamic to be in play, a dynamic of willful blindness, where people look at the world in terms of what they think is most advantageous for them to see, instead of in terms of what is actually there. Unfortunately, this is the dominant cognitive style in much of America today.

It is no surprise that people who could choose a memorial that is laid out in the shape of an Islamic crescent and star flag would be determined not to be concerned that the crescent actually points to Mecca. After all, the crescent and star flag configuration is obvious:

Anyone who can be willfully blind to THAT can easily ignore what seems to them to be much more esoteric, like the orientation of the crescent. It doesn't matter to them that the orientation of the crescent is actually the most important thing to Muslims, turning the crescent into the Mecca-direction indicator around which every mosque is built. What MUSLIMS think? Why that is positively arcane, to anyone who finds it advantageous to think so.

What is with women these days?

No matter what side of the abortion debate you are on, pro-choice or pro-life, one universal truth is known. Once a child is born, it is a human being with rights. That is a fundamental law or science and nature. But to some women, it seems that a child is just an inconvenience. A bundle of troubles or even the trash.

Whether it is the woman who cooked her one-month old daughter in the microwave, or the mother who has cried "My kids are a pain.", or little Caylee who mother doesn't care where she is or if she's even alive, we are seeing a rash of people not fit to be parents.

While the mother who microwaved her daughter nauseates me, the children who are thrown away, like trash, horrifies me even more.

A 6-year-old girl playing hide-and-seek with her grandmother found a newborn baby girl abandoned in a vacant lot next to her home.

Lilliana Williams-Rodriguez told her grandmother Thursday evening that she had found a doll in the bushes.

But Thelma Williams, 55, who has six children, knew right away the baby lying motionless in the weeds near a basketball hoop was no doll. She called 911 and wrapped the baby in clothing until firefighters arrived.

Police estimated the child was born an hour or two before she was discovered. The baby girl was taken to the hospital with a fever but was expected to recover.

The infant, partially wrapped in a black shirt, still had her umbilical cord attached, said police Sgt. Tom Connellan. Police weren't sure if she was born at the scene or brought there and abandoned. They were searching for the infant's mother.

The state's Abandoned Infant Protection law allows parents unable to care for their newborns to leave them, no questions asked, with a responsible person at a hospital, police station or fire station.

"Leaving the baby in the bushes like that — if the baby hadn't been found, it probably wouldn't have survived for long," Connellan said.

Williams said it was lucky her granddaughter asked her to play that evening. "It was a game of hide-and-go-seek that turned into a day of reckoning," she told The Post-Standard of Syracuse.

It was a miracle that Lilliana Williams-Rodriguez was out playing with her grandmother. This little baby girl now has a chance to live her life with joy and love.

If you don't want a child and don't want an abortion, give the child up for adoption. If you think it is an inconvenience, then adoption is an answer. But the trash heap, garbage can, or empty lot as in this case is not the answer or the solution.

Children are not garbage, they shouldn't be treated as such!!

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly looks up! The nose twitches. The ears are up. The eyes are staring. And this one suddenly runs from the group.

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in yours arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your missing pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

Last Day Round Up: Sermon on the Mount.

The Moonbat Express Democratic Convention is now over. The Moonbats are returning to their caves, to their lattes, to their jobs and praying to their new G-d for a miracle in November. All week they heard the praises of their G-d spoken over and over. The mantra of Yes We Can, Change and Hope were sounded in unison as they built their energy up to a crescendo of power that they pray will send their new Messiah into the White House.

As they waited for the Messiah to appear in the temple HE had built, Former Messiah and Prophet of Global Warming Al Gore appeared to the assembled multitude. He spoke of how if the nation had elected him 8 years ago, the world would be a better place. He spoke of how he would have healed the sick, make the cripples walk and clean the Earth. He lamented how he would have destroyed the evil bin Laden, and never destroyed the evil Saddam Hussein.

The multitude cheered. And they waited, in the Temple of Audacity, for the Holy One to appear.

Then with a deafening blast of trumpets, preceded by 72 virgins dressed in white, with the Archangels Gabrielle and Michael escorting him and The L-rd G-d's arm rapped around him, shouting: "That's My Boy!" He descended to the stage.

The Anointed One spoke to the masses. With profound gratitude and great humility accepted their nomination. He told of how He loved his wife and children. Thanked the apostates Bill and Hillary, granted acknowledgment of Howard Dean and Dick Durban. He embraced Ted Kennedy, knowing that soon he will be no more. And lifted up the failed apostate, now His preeminent apostle Joe Biden.

He told of His childhood, filled with poverty and despair. How His mother had to feed their family on the meager portion of the Food Stamps. He cried about how His people had to struggle to reach this place. How the color of His skin kept His people from achieving their goals. He cried about the children, the born and unborn. He cried about the sick, and how would make them whole. He cried about the workers, the immigrants and the old. He spoke of all those who made this nation strong.

He railed upon Bush the Evil and his successor John the Bad. How they brought the nation to war, against what He wished. How they destroyed the economy, against what He wished. exclaimed that if He had been in charge, the world would be at peace. The nation would be healthier and all would have a job.

And the multitudes cried out: "Yes We Can!" As these platitudes were given to them from the Messiah of Change.

Then He raised His arms (a stunt His opponent John the Bad cannot achieve) and blessed the assembled multitude.

And then, when He finish, and rockets filled the sky. He brought out His family and they smiled to placate the crowds.

And thus Barack Hussein Obama entered the history books. But if in November He does not win, He can always blame it on Florida and the crooks.

For 2 years Israel has been screaming to the world that Hizbollah with Syria's help has been smuggling weapons into Lebanon instead of disarming. And the world has ignored it. UNIFIL commander Maj.-Gen. Claudio Graziano of Italy has accused Israel of violating Security Council Resolution 1701. You remember 1701, the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hizbollah. Gen. Graziano has even said:

In contrast, he said that the UN enjoyed excellent cooperation with Hizbullah and with the local Lebanese people.

"Hizbullah is one of parties that agrees with 1701," he stressed.

I'm sure your bank account General is bigger now than when you left Italy. But somehow Israel got the UN to form a task force to look into the problem (and people say there is no G-d). Low and behold they come up with a different result.

A United Nations task force assigned to report on weapons smuggling in Lebanon said Monday that Hizbullah has been bringing arms across the Syrian-Lebanese border. This confirms Israeli allegations that the Iran-backed Lebanese terrorist group has been steadily rearming with Syrian assistance and Lebanese collusion.

Last month, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney that "the number of missiles in the hands of Hizbullah has doubled, if not tripled, and that the range of the missiles has been extended. And this has been accomplished with the close assistance of the Syrians." In March, an anonymous source told the Associated Press that Hizbullah held new Iranian rockets capable of striking as far south as Dimona, Israel's nuclear facility in the Negev.

According to the task force report, submitted to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Monday, neither Lebanese nor Syrian officials have done anything to end weapons transfers to Hizbullah. The task force, which has seen no improvement in the situation since it started its work in 2007, noted that weapons flow easily across the Syrian-Lebanese frontier due to lax or non-existent inspections. Even the air and sea ports into Lebanon, the report says, have been used for weapons smuggling.

Earlier this month, Lebanon's cabinet voted to allow Hizbullah to maintain its weapons arsenal. The government decision specifically approves Hizbullah activities aimed at Israel.

This is in clear violation of Security Council Resolution 1701.

Now the terms of 1701 state:

full implementation of the relevant provisions of the Taif Accords, and of resolutions 1559 (2004) and 1680 (2006), that require the disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon, so that, pursuant to the Lebanese cabinet decision of 27 July 2006, there will be no weapons or authority in Lebanon other than that of the Lebanese State;

Which leads me to wonder if anyone at the UN ever talks to anyone else. Somebody should have talked to General Graziano so the 2 groups would have gotten their stories straight. And I do believe someone's head will roll. But not General Graziano's. He was dutifully bought and paid for by his Muslim masters and his job is secure.

Just another bit of corruption at the Tower of Babel.

UCU: Banning a poster, hating the people.

The University and College Union (UCU) of Great Britain is a bastion of left-wing moonbats and communist rejects. Any loony idea that is against the good and decent in this world, they support. Take Israel. In May this organization put forth a motion to boycott all Israeli Universities and colleagues. They tried this tactic in 2007 and was shot down by their rank and file. But do these moonbats ever learn? No. They still try to pass this idiotic idea over and over.

But that isn't the half of it. The members of this organization are active supporters of extreme far-right hate mongers such as David Duke. Messages posted on their message board regularly send people to his website. It took Harry's Place to show this hatred to Great Britain and the world. Given this the UCU finally took down the offending messages.

The University and College Union (UCU) member who posted a link on the union's Web site to an anti-Semitic article on the Web site of former Klu Klux Klan leader, David Duke, has been banned indefinitely from posting on the site.

Jenna Delich, a UCU member from Sheffield, posted a message on the activist list on the UCU Web site in support of a colleague who backs the call to boycott Israeli academia.

Matt Waddup, manager of the UCU activist list, sent an e-mail on Wednesday to all members of the list informing them of her suspension.

"Time for one of my universally popular interventions," Waddup wrote. "I have received complaints from list members about the linking by another member to a Web site which contains highly offensive, racist material.

"I acted to suspend the posting rights of the list member as soon as the union became aware of the link, and having reviewed this and previous conduct; I have now suspended their list membership indefinitely," he wrote.

Waddup warned members to take responsibility and think before sending posts.

"List members should note that my view as moderator is that you are responsible for what you post, including links. Check what you are sharing before you share it. Think about what you are saying before you press send," he wrote.

UCU member Dr. David Hirsh, lecturer at the University of London's Goldsmiths College, said the decision was significant but accused the union of failing to take responsibility for the incident.

Meanwhile, a Web site that published the story about the UCU link to the anti-Semitic article on Duke's Web site has been taken offline after its service provider was threatened with libel.

It is back up again with no problems. Every time the leftist elites try this stunt, it backfires on them.

Free Speech is only to be for the leftist elites it seems. Not for everyone. And the UCU will discover that like the last time they tried this stunt, American Universities will not go along with it. They will ban British Universities and colleagues like they threatened to last time.

The real horror in this is that these people are responsible for teaching the next generation of British leaders.

Being a light unto the nations.

I keep hearing Moonbats like Al Gore and Barack Hussein Obama tell the American people that the United States must become the leader in Alternate Energy. They don't have many ideas, just windmills, solar power, hydro cars, and hybrid cars. They don't tell us how to do it, only that the technology must be developed. Only one problem. Many of these technologies have already been developed. And who developed them? Russia? No. The US? No. Great Britain? No. Israel? Yes.

There are two stages in the life of any technology - development and implementation. According to analysts, Israel is becoming a world leader in developing clean technologies and, little by little, more of those technologies are being used to solve this country's own environmental challenges.

Isaac Berzin, one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the sciences last year due to his work on using algae to take greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere and convert them to fuel, told The Jerusalem Post that even if the technologies were not implemented here, just developing them here was enough.

"Being a light unto the nations is exactly the place of Israel - that is our role. Our knowledge is implemented elsewhere and that's a wonderful thing," said Berzin, who is putting together an energy policy analysis center at the IDC.

"Our strength is not implementation, but creation and innovation. For example, Ormat [a company that utilizes geothermal energy to generate power] has no installations here, but the technology was developed here and the training school is here," he said.

Berzin compared the cleantech boom to the hi-tech boom. Most of the software developed in Israel has been implemented elsewhere, he said.

Moreover, "Israel should be a world leader - creating the solutions the world is looking for. Investments are coming to Israel [as a result] and lots of jobs are created.

Solar markets have developed fastest in places with government incentives, Levy noted. The government recently approved a feed-in tariff for household production of solar energy where residents could sell electricity back the grid. National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer has promised to build one solar plant a year for the next ten years as well.

Israel has long been a purchaser of its own water technologies, most of which emerged in response to local need, Levy said.

Levy also cited such companies as Shai Agassi's Better Place, which chose Israel as its first market for the electric car.

The government also has a clear role in helping to encourage implementation of cleantech locally, Levy said.

Since the 1970's Israel has been a leader in solar energy. If you look at the roof of any home in Israel you will see the solar water panels that provide hot water for the home. This was mandated in the 1970's and is standard on all new housing units. Israel is the per capita leader in the use of solar hot water systems with 90% of homes using them.

If you go to the Golan Heights you will see wind turbines all the way to the Syrian border where they stop. Again utilizing the best of what you have in order to produce energy. The people living in the area aren't complaining about these turbines. They see them as a viable solution for their energy needs.




It will take Barack Hussein Obama's plan 10 years to begin to have any effect. It will cost billions of dollars and we will get a white elephant in the process. Or we can do it right. We can drill here, drill now and work with our allies to build a better solution to our energy needs.

Third Day Round Up.

As the Moonbat Express Democratic Convention continues, Barack Hussein Obama made history today by becoming the first Black man to get a major party's nomination. Cheers were made all around. And still there is an undercurrent of discontent that the Obama people are quick to point out to the MSM doesn't exist (it does).

Wednesday night they had 2 major speakers. The first one was former President Bill Clinton who gave a rousing speech in support of Barack Hussein Obama. And the one thing Bill Clinton can do is give a good speech. It wasn't his best, and you could see the disappointment in him, but it did try to score a goal for his team.

Clearly, the job of the next president is to rebuild the American dream and to restore American leadership in the world.

And here's what I have to say about that. Everything I learned in my eight years as president, and in the work I have done since in America and across the globe, has convinced me that Barack Obama is the man for this job.

He has a remarkable ability to inspire people, to raise our hopes and rally us to high purpose. He has the intelligence and curiosity every successful president needs. His policies on the economy, on taxes, on health care, on energy are far superior to the Republican alternatives.

I understand that Adolf Hitler also had the ability to inspire people. And Bill Clinton's foreign policy wasn't all that great. He didn't have the blunders that Dhimmi Carter had, but his policy on Somalia has repercussions that we are still feeling now. Can anyone remember the media blitz about the troops landing on shore. Or about the downing of a Blackhawk helicopter in Mogadishu in 1993? And let us not forget his memorable handling of the Waco siege, where after a 51 day standoff, they tried to gas the Branch Davidians out. In the end 75 people were killed, 25 of them children. And we can never forget a certain intern and a certain blue dress. Bill Clinton does have an interesting legacy to say the least.

But Bill Clinton was not the main speaker of the evening. That honor was held for the Vice Presidential Nominee, Joe Biden. Joe Biden that son of working folks, that paragon of foreign policy, the man who said about Barack Hussein Obama:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

And that was the nicest thing he had said about him. Contrast that with what he said tonight:

But John McCain doesn't seem to get it. Barack Obama gets it, though. Like many of us in this room, like many of us in this hall, Barack Obama has worked his way up. He is the great American story, you know?

I believe the measure of a man is not the road he travels but the choices he makes along that road.

While Joe Biden was in college, John McCain was a guest of the Hanoi Hilton. I guess that is a road that he wouldn't choose to travel.

He reached across party lines to pass a law that helped keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists.

And then he moved Congress and the president to give our wonderful wounded warriors the care and dignity they deserve.

Actually Obama voted against funds for the VA. Not for them. And he wasn't the author or sponsor of any bill on nuclear weapons. His vote was present. Not a rousing Yes, as Joe Biden expects you to believe.

Barack Obama's going to deliver that change, because, I want to tell you, Barack Obama will reform our tax code. He will cut taxes for 95 percent of the American people who draw a paycheck. That's the change we need.

Barack Obama will transform the economy by making alternative energy a national priority and in the process creating 5 million new jobs and finally, finally freeing us from the grip of foreign oil. That's the change we need.

Barack Obama knows that any country that out-teaches us today will out-compete us tomorrow. That's why he'll invest in the next generation of teachers and why he'll make college more affordable. That's the change we need.

Barack Obama will bring down health care costs by $2,500 for the average family and, at long last, deliver affordable, accessible health care for every American.

That's the change we need.

Barack will put more cops on the street, put security back in Social Security, and he'll never, ever, ever give up until we achieve equal pay for women.

And leap tall buildings in a single bound. How does he expect to pay for it? Take a guess.

Now, let me ask you this: Whose judgment do you trust?

Should you trust the judgment of John McCain, when he said only three years ago, "Afghanistan, we don't read about it anymore in papers because it succeeded"?

Or should you believe Barack Obama who said a year ago, "We need to send two more combat battalions to Afghanistan"?

The fact of the matter is, al Qaeda and the Taliban, the people who actually attacked us on 9/11, they've regrouped in the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan and they are plotting new attacks. And the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has echoed Barack's call for more troops.

John McCain was wrong, and Barack Obama was right.

Should we trust John McCain's judgment when he rejected talking with Iran and then asked, "What is there to talk about?" Or Barack Obama, who said, "We must talk and make clear to Iran that it must change"?

Should we trust John McCain's judgment when he says we can't have no timelines to draw down our troops from Iraq, that we must stay indefinitely? Or should we listen to Barack Obama, who says shift the responsibility to the Iraqis and set a time to bring our combat troops home?

Now, after six long years, the administration and the Iraqi government are on the verge of setting a date to bring our troops home. John McCain was wrong, and Barack Obama was right.

I nearly choked on my Milkduds when I heard that. It is the same policy mistakes that Dhimmi Carter made. And we are still feeling the fallout from that 29 years later.

And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”

In the great Battles of Caucus and Primary he smote the conniving Hillary, wife of the deposed King Bill the Priapic and their barbarian hordes of Working Class Whites.

And so it was, in the fullness of time, before the harvest month of the appointed year, the Child ventured forth - for the first time - to bring the light unto all the world.

He traveled fleet of foot and light of camel, with a small retinue that consisted only of his loyal disciples from the tribe of the Media. He ventured first to the land of the Hindu Kush, where the

Taleban had harbored the viper of al-Qaeda in their bosom, raining terror on all the world.

And the Child spake and the tribes of NATO immediately loosed the Caveats that had previously bound them. And in the great battle that ensued the forces of the light were triumphant. For as long as the Child stood with his arms raised aloft, the enemy suffered great blows and the threat of terror was no more.

From there he went forth to Mesopotamia where he was received by the great ruler al-Maliki, and al-Maliki spake unto him and blessed his Sixteen Month Troop Withdrawal Plan even as the imperial warrior Petraeus tried to destroy it.

And lo, in Mesopotamia, a miracle occurred. Even though the Great Surge of Armour that the evil Bush had ordered had been a terrible mistake, a waste of vital military resources and doomed to end in disaster, the Child's very presence suddenly brought forth a great victory for the forces of the light.

And the Persians, who saw all this and were greatly fearful, longed to speak with the Child and saw that the Child was the bringer of peace. At the mention of his name they quickly laid aside their intrigues and beat their uranium swords into civil nuclear energy ploughshares.

From there the Child went up to the city of Jerusalem, and entered through the gate seated on an ass. The crowds of network anchors who had followed him from afar cheered “Hosanna” and waved great palm fronds and strewed them at his feet.

In Jerusalem and in surrounding Palestine, the Child spake to the Hebrews and the Arabs, as the Scripture had foretold. And in an instant, the lion lay down with the lamb, and the Israelites and Ishmaelites ended their long enmity and lived for ever after in peace.

As word spread throughout the land about the Child's wondrous works, peoples from all over flocked to hear him; Hittites and Abbasids; Obamacons and McCainiacs; Cameroonians and Blairites.

And they told of strange and wondrous things that greeted the news of the Child's journey. Around the world, global temperatures began to decline, and the ocean levels fell and the great warming was over.

The Great Prophet Algore of Nobel and Oscar, who many had believed was the anointed one, smiled and told his followers that the Child was the one generations had been waiting for.

And there were other wonderful signs. In the city of the Street at the Wall, spreads on interbank interest rates dropped like manna from Heaven and rates on credit default swaps fell to the ground as dead birds from the almond tree, and the people who had lived in foreclosure were able to borrow again.

Black gold gushed from the ground at prices well below $140 per barrel. In hospitals across the land the sick were cured even though they were uninsured. And all because the Child had pronounced it.

And this is the testimony of one who speaks the truth and bears witness to the truth so that you might believe. And he knows it is the truth for he saw it all on CNN and the BBC and in the pages of The New York Times.

Then the Child ventured forth from Israel and Palestine and stepped onto the shores of the Old Continent. In the land of Queen Angela of Merkel, vast multitudes gathered to hear his voice, and he preached to them at length.

But when he had finished speaking his disciples told him the crowd was hungry, for they had had nothing to eat all the hours they had waited for him.

And so the Child told his disciples to fetch some food but all they had was five loaves and a couple of frankfurters. So he took the bread and the frankfurters and blessed them and told his disciples to feed the multitudes. And when all had eaten their fill, the scraps filled twelve baskets.

Thence he travelled west to Mount Sarkozy. Even the beauteous Princess Carla of the tribe of the Bruni was struck by awe and she was great in love with the Child, but he was tempted not.

On the Seventh Day he walked across the Channel of the Angles to the ancient land of the hooligans. There he was welcomed with open arms by the once great prophet Blair and his successor, Gordon the Leper, and his successor, David the Golden One.

And suddenly, with the men appeared the archangel Gabriel and the whole host of the heavenly choir, ranks of cherubim and seraphim, all praising God and singing: “Yes, We Can.”

Why is Obama afraid of the truth about Bill Ayers

Through out his political career Barack Hussein Obama was guided by Bill Ayers, a member of the Weatherman (a known terrorist group). In an interview with the New York Times, Bill Ayers said:

''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.'' Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970's as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago.

And yet he was not charged with terror-related crimes and is now a professor of education at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Mr. Ayers, who in 1970 was said to have summed up the Weatherman philosophy as: ''Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at."

And this is what he still espouses. Kill, destroy and start the revolution.

Barack Hussein Obama got his first start in politics in Bill Ayers home. Ayers has been a major fund-raiser for his campaign, one of his first supporters and a long time friend. Both Obama and Ayers were members of the board of an anti-poverty group, the Woods Fund of Chicago, between 1999 and 2002. A group that funneled taxpayer funds to Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ and the Arab American Action Network. This has been brought out by the National Review Online.

The Arab American Action Network was co-founded by Rashid Khalidi, a Yasser Arafat apologist who has supported attacks against Israel and now directs Columbia University’s notorious Middle East Institute, founded by Edward Said.

Ayers has never abandoned his indictment of America as an imperialist hotbed of racism and economic exploitation. He has merely shifted methods from violent extortion to academic indoctrination. Through his perch as a professor of education at the University of Illinois, he has been a ceaseless critic of the criminal-justice system (he is essentially opposed to imprisoning even the most violent criminals) and a proponent of what he calls “education reform” but what is actually the use of the classroom to proselytize for the Left’s political agenda.

Is it any wonder that Barack Hussein Obama does not want the following commercial to be aired:

Sen. Barack Obama is warning TV stations and asking the Justice Department to intervene in an attempt to block the airing of an ad by a non-profit group that links him to an unrepentant domestic terrorist.

The spot by the American Issues Project questions Obama's ties to William Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground organization who boasted of a series of bomb attacks at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol four decades ago.
But, as WND reported, Kerry actually took a similar approach. Instead of focusing on the Swift Boat Veterans' specific claims, his campaign threatened lawsuits against the television stations that aired the group's ads, demanded publisher Regnery pull the best-selling book "Unfit for Command," attacked the character of co-authors John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi, and accused the independent group of being run by the Republican party. The Kerry campaign also waged a multi-pronged attack on the Sinclair Broadcast Group over its plan to air a documentary " "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal", which featured former POWs telling how Kerry's 1971 testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was used as propaganda against them by their North Vietnamese captors.

Many of the stations airing the anti-Obama ad – financed by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth funder Harold Simmons, a Texas billionaire – are owned by Sinclair, the AP reported.

Obama campaign lawyer Robert Bauer wrote to station managers, the AP said, warning: "Your station is committed to operating in the public interest, an objective that cannot be satisfied by accepting for compensation material of such malicious falsity."

Bauer also wrote to Deputy Assistant Attorney General John C. Keeney, calling the ad a "knowing and willful attempt to evade the strictures of federal election law."

Responding to the Obama campaign's fierce reaction, American Issues Project spokesman Christian Pinkston said, "It seems they protest a bit too much."

"They're going all of these routes – threats, intimation – to thwart the First Amendment here because they don't have an argument on merit."

The AP noted that while the McCain campaign cannot coordinate efforts with outside groups, it took advantage of being the target of the response ad.

"The fact that Barack Obama chose to launch his political career at the home of an unrepentant terrorist raises more questions about Senator Obama's judgment than any TV ad ever could," McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said.

Ayers has admitted to involvement in the bombings of U.S. governmental buildings in the 1970s.

The American Issues Project ad says, "Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, 'Respectable' and 'Mainstream.' Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home. And the two served together on a left-wing board. Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it? Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?"

A terrorist for a friend, a Reverend who doesn't understand the meaning of Christian Love, and no experience lead up to a bad combination. A bad combination for the Democrats and a bad combination for America.

Second Day Round Up

On Tuesday the theme at the Moonbat Express Democratic Convention was domestic policy. Various speakers tried to rally the troops on issues like health care, gay rights, the economy, and abortion (they are strictly for it). The highlight of the evening was not the Keynote address by Mark Warner where he kept trying to link John McCain with George W. Bush, but an address by former First Lady and Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. While her words said that she fully supported Barack Hussein Obama, her body language didn't. For every time she said his name, a false smile came upon her face, and her body froze for a second. Just a little thing, but it speaks that the feud between the camps was not fully over. When she spoke about her husbands legacy, she was full of joy. Her smile was not forced, her body was relaxed. When she spoke about her campaign, her smile was bittersweet, and her body was limp. Never once in her speech did she release her delegates. A slight oversight maybe, but still a major slip up.

Each night of a convention is suppose to build the energy level up. It is suppose to reach a fever pitch on the final night when the candidate is suppose to speak. I now know why Obama chose to speak at a venue for 70,000 and not at the convention venue. He knew that he could not get that level of energy up to what it should be. He needs the 68,000 screaming Obamamanics to have that excitement for the cameras.

Wednesday night Bill Clinton will be speaking. And a Roll Call of the States will be done to choose their nominee. The energy level should be high, but I have a sneaky suspicion that it is faltering. With an undercurrent of hostility from both the Obama supporters and Clinton supporters, the unity of the Democrats is in jeopardy. And that will help John McCain come November.

Last night Hillary Clinton asked:

I want you to think about your children and grandchildren come Election Day. Think about the choices your parents and grandparents made that had such a big impact on your life and on the life of our nation.

The answer to that is very simple. Vote for John McCain on November 4. He is the only candidate with the integrity and courage to lead this nation.

No not the ones in Denver at the Moonbat Express Democratic Convention, that will come on Friday. But the ones that landed in Gaza this last weekend. It seems that they don't want to vacation in Gaza (who does). There is not one Starbucks in the whole place. Where will they get their lattes?

Israel is likely to allow protesters who defied the blockade of Gaza by sailing into the Palestinian territory to leave unhindered, the Foreign Ministry said Monday.

Two ships bearing international protesters sailed from Cyprus on Saturday to draw attention to the blockade. Israel initially hinted it would block the ships but decided not to interfere. That approach is likely to be repeated when they leave, Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said.

In Gaza on Sunday, the protesters met with Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. On Monday, the group escorted Palestinian fishermen beyond the sailing limit enforced by the Israeli navy off Gaza's coast. Israeli navy ships trailed them but did not communicate with them or interfere, according to Huwaida Arraf, one of the protesters.

Arraf said one of the ships would depart for Cyprus on Wednesday, while the other would remain in Gaza for the time being. The protesters intend to return regularly from Cyprus to Gaza, she said, "establishing a ferry service, if you will."

This ferry would bring in the needed supplies of balloons and hearing aids that are so desperately needed by the people of Gaza. And they plan on removing a few dozen or so terrorists university students for study abroad. How nice.

These idiots can even sing their new protest song.

UN's 'Durban II' African Prep Meeting Slams Israel, Free Speech; But Silent on Darfur Atrocities and African Ethnic Violence

The first conference on racism by the UN accomplished nothing but a condemnation of Israel. Held in Durban, South Africa and will forever be known as Durban I. It's follow up conference next year, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, is shaping up to be a repeat of the first conference. Thus it is being now called Durban II.

Abuja, Nigeria, August 26, 2008 — Geneva-based human rights group UN Watch expressed alarm over the declaration adopted today by an African regional meeting in Abuja, Nigeria, which will now shape the UN world conference on racism to be held in April.

“The declaration (CLICK FOR TEXT) fails to address racial and ethnic crimes committed by Sudan, tramples international human rights guarantees on free speech, places Islam above all other religions, and targets Israel alone, implying that it is uniquely racist,” said UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer. “Regrettably, Durban II is looking more and more like the original Durban debacle of 2001.”

The stated objectives of the African regional conference, which opened Sunday and closed today, were to review regional implementation of the 2001 Durban declaration, and map the way for the UN’s Durban Review Conference on racism set for Geneva in April. But the declaration adopted today "failed to review any African country’s actions, and its inflammatory provisions now threaten to derail the world conference in April," said Neuer.

This conference is forbidden to make any reference to how women are treated in Muslim nations, the on going genocide being conducted in Darfur, the persecution of Christians by Muslims. It will only focus on that poor, discriminated group of people known as the Palestinians.

The Canadian government is boycotting the April meeting and its preparations, saying it will "not be party to an anti-Semitic and anti-Western hatefest dressed up as an anti-racism conference." French President Sarkozy and cabinet ministers from Britain and the Netherlands have warned that a breach of red lines could also trigger their boycott of the 2009 meeting in Geneva. French Minister Rama Yade repeated the caution in a statement this month to the French parliament.

I doubt that the French, British or Dutch will not attend. They might anger their Muslim minority and cause a set of riots in their lands.

Declaration Fails to Review African Performance on Racism

“By failing to review the performance of African countries on racism and related intolerance, the conference is ignoring its primary mission, and squandering a golden opportunity to help Africa’s many victims of racism and xenophobia,” said Neuer.

To help Africans against the racism and intolerance that they experience would be counter productive to the mission of the UN Human Rights Council. Only Palestinians are being oppressed. All other people aren't.

"Apart from UN Watch’s plenary speech on Sunday, neither the conference nor its final declaration addressed the Sudanese government’s crimes against humanity in Darfur, including the ethnic killings of at least 200,000 black Africans, mass rape, and the displacement of over 1 million men, women and children,” said Neuer. When UN Watch representative Leon Saltiel addressed the Darfur atrocities in his speech to the Abuja conference on Sunday, Sudan immediately interrupted with an objection -- supported by Algeria and Morrocco -- and chairman Martin Uhomoibhi of Nigeria ruled that country situations could not be mentioned.

“Moreover, the text fails to review the xenophobic attacks that recently broke out in South Africa — the leading organizer of the Abuja meeting and the overall Durban process — where foreigners, notably from Zimbabwe and Mozambique, were targeted in May during a wave of anti-immigrant attacks in which at least 62 were killed and tens of thousands were displaced,” said Neuer. “Nor does the text review the ethnic crimes in Kenya this year that killed 1,000 people, displaced another 600,000 and burnt down 40,000 buildings, in an outburst of tribal bloodletting. Millions of African victims of xenophobia — present and future — are ill-served by the conference’s grant of impunity for racial or ethnic crimes committed in African countries.”

UN Watch should know better. It is ok for Muslims to kill non-Muslims, and for Blacks to kill whites. Now if they can get it blamed on Israel and Jews, it will be addressed.

Declaration Attacks Free Speech, Seeks to Import Islamic Anti-Blasphemy Prohibitions into International Human Rights Law

The new text calls upon states to avoid “inflexibly clinging to free speech in defiance of the sensitivities existing in a society and with absolute disregard for religious feelings.” Other provisions in the text on “incitement to religious hatred,” said Neuer, “mirror efforts by Islamic states at the UN Human Rights Council to insinuate Islamic anti-blasphemy prohibitions into international law. Yet UN expert on religious freedom Asma Jahangir and other international human rights experts have expressly opposed ‘defamation of religion’ resolutions, which seek to alter international human rights law by defining religions — instead of individuals — as the bearers of rights.”

The declaration’s attack on free speech contravenes the Article 19 guarantee of freedom of expression of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, whose 60th anniversary the UN will be celebrating next week with a major gathering at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. (At the event, UN Watch will be chairing a NGO panel discussion on the UN Human Rights Council.)

"The language goes far beyond the recognized norms for balancing prohibitions of racial hatred with respect for free speech, which is the lifeblood of democracy. If the right to express one’s beliefs — to question the dogmas of the day in society, law, politics, art, science, and, yes, religion — is to be restricted by the ‘feelings’ and ‘sensitivities’ of others, this will mark the end of free speech as we know it,” said Neuer.

The 19th Article states:

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

In changing the meaning of this it is simple. You will shut up. You cannot be allowed to discuss or criticize Islam in any way. This is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment to the US Constitution.

Declaration Imposes Hierarchy of Religions

The text's special emphasis on Islamophobia (paragraph 20) “seeks to impose a hierarchy of religions, placing adherents of Islam above all others,” said Neuer. “This is contrary to the basic principles of equality enshrined in the UN Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and undermines the very premise of the global struggle against racism.”

Congratulations! The UN has finally made any religion other than Islam illegal. Now it will be a crime for any one to attend a church or synagogue. Forget about the Hindu temples in India, they will have to be destroyed. Saint Peter's in Rome is scheduled for demolition. And any one caught worshiping in a faith other than Islam will be put to death.

Conference Singled Out Israel for Opprobrium, Threatening to Repeat Durban Debacle of 2001

The declaration makes only one reference to a country situation, “reiterat[ing] its concern about the plight of the Palestinian people under foreign occupations.” Neuer asked, “Why is a non-African situation mentioned in a declaration about Africa, one that references neither Sudan’s racist killings, nor any other country in Africa?”

“The special reference to the Palestinian issue implies that Israel is practicing racism. This reverts to the discredited rhetoric of the UN’s 1975 “Zionism is Racism” resolution, sponsored by the Soviet and Arab blocs, which was repealed by the United Nations in 1991, and which has since been repudiated by its highest officials,” said Neuer.

“Portraying Israel's conflict as racial is more than political mischief; it’s an attempt to dehumanize Israelis and their supporters as uniquely evil. We regret that African states today allowed the extreme political agenda of certain Middle Eastern governments to undermine their legitimate cause.”

The UN, however, today tried to offer a different interpretation. "It is only one paragraph that mentions the Palestinians, so the interest of Israel was never badly damaged," Ibrahim Wani, from the office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, told Reuters, after the 3-day talks in Abuja.

UN Watch participated at the African conference as an international non-governmental organization. The plenary speech delivered by UN Watch representative Leon Saltiel on Sunday (see below) was interrupted by Sudan, after he addressed the situations in Darfur and Zimbabwe, and described Libyan hypocrisy.

A conference on racism that is to be headed by Iran, Libya and Cuba is doomed from the start not to address any real racism in the world.

This is just another reason why the UN is no longer needed in the world and must be dissolved at once.

It is time for the UN to go the way of the dinosaurs and become extinct!
