Fresh from his rapturous appearance at the Trinity United Church of Christ where he condemned Hillary Clinton and exclaimed to riotous applause:
"I also believe that America is the greatest sin against God."
Reverend Pfleger will not face any censure from the Roman Catholic Church and will be allowed to return to his parish at Saint Sabina's. He does have to stay out of politics (a little too late for that now Cardinal Francis George).
The South Side parish of St. Sabina exploded with shouts of joy and a standing ovation Sunday morning at the news firebrand Catholic pastor Rev. Michael Pfleger would be returning June 16.Cardinal Francis George temporarily removed the outspoken priest from his parish last week following comments Pfleger made about then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Pfleger had said Clinton believed she was entitled to the Democratic nomination because she is white. Pfleger is white, while most of his parishioners are African-American.
At a three-hour Sunday mass filled with songs and dancing, pastoral associate Kimberly Lymore read a letter from Pfleger in which the priest wrote, "This has been a very painful time for me personally and for our church family."
Lymore said parish leaders were told by Cardinal George that Pfleger will continue as pastor of the church he has led for 30 years with "no restrictions" -- other than not being able to mention publicly the names of presidential candidates or campaign for them. On hearing this, several parishioners called out "That's all right."
Full Story
So the Roman Catholic Church now endorses Barack Hussein Obama for President it seems. At least the Chicago diocese does. Why else would such a controversial and outspoken proponent of Liberation Theology (which is against the teachings of the Church and his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI's personal beliefs) be allowed back to work without any punishment. It smacks of a cover-up similar to the ones involving the pedophile priests.
Liberation Theology:
1. Liberation Theology has it center of power in Latin America and in African Theology, but is found in many Christian denominations throughout the Third World.
2. Liberation Theology is a new interpretation of Christian reality.
3. Liberation Theology is radically Marxist. “ . . .the world must be interpreted in terms of the class struggle and that the only choice is between capitalism and Marxism.”
4. Liberation Theology thrives on perpetuating class struggle. The only people of the Church are those who participate in class struggle.
5. Liberation Theology is a theology of bloody political revolution. All of Christian reality is reduced to politico-social liberation praxis (action).
6. Liberation Theology rejects traditional scriptural interpretations. “The experience of the "community" determines the understanding and the interpretation of Scripture. . . Ultimately, what is normative for interpretation is not historical research but the hermeneutic of history experienced in the community or the political group.”
7. Liberation Theology makes the Bible subject to a Marxist view of history. “The "historicality" of the Bible must justify its absolute dominance and thus legitimize the' transition to materialist-marxist philosophy, in which history has taken over the role of God. . . historical criticism has loosed Scripture from the traditional interpretation, which now appears to be unscientific.
8. Liberation Theology is a threat to the faith of the Christian Church.
Liberation Theology blames all white people for the injustices of the world. Liberation Theology is anti-American, anti-Capitalist and anti-Semitic. The aim of Liberation Theology is to distribute all the world's wealth equally among those who are in poverty. And that is Marxism.
Now Saint Sabina gets their pastor back, he will spew hatred out as he always has done. And the Church shows that it will cave into the mob and not stand for its beliefs.
And Obama gets a free ride again from the MSM on this. Go figure.

he gets a free ride and we all may die because of it!!!
You know Katie, just when I thought I could read your posts without my blood boiling, you come back with a whopper of one.
I assume you know I am a devout Roman Catholic. And Holy Mother Church doesn't endorse anyone for political office here in America. It's not like the Evangelicals or Fundis, when they ALL do it. We have our issues that we believe, we should vote on.
So to make a blanket statement, like you did, is just as bad as saying all Arabs are Comic Book Death Cult followers. Which is wrong.
Next time you
The Roman Catholic Church doesn't endorse candidates that is true, but it is also against Papal rulings to follow Liberation Theology. Pfleger preaches Liberation Theology and racial hatred contrary to Papal views.
Now if you believe the Pope is unfailable then when His Holiness makes a ruling on a matter of doctrine, the clergy is suppose to follow it. All but Pfleger. And that is wrong.
