A Way To Mark 9/11

While most of the world will be remembering the events of 9/11 with sorrow and reflection, the members of al Qaeda in Pakistan have one thing on their minds:  REVENGE.
As the United States prepares for the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks, terrorists are hoping to mark the event their own way – by murdering more American civilians.

Security officials in the United States are on high alert over a “credible” pinpoint warning of a planned terrorist attack, to be carried out on September 11. The attack was allegedly planned by Al Qaeda terrorists in Pakistan.

Terrorists are said to be planning an attack in New York City and Washington D.C., the two cities attacked ten years earlier. Nearly 3,000 people were murdered in the 2001 attacks.

Security personnel have suspected plans of an anniversary attack for some time. Information gathered from the home of Al Qaeda head Osama Bin Laden, who was killed in a U.S. raid in May, lent weight to their suspicions.

Senior American figures, among them President Barack Obama and former president George Bush, are scheduled to mark the anniversary of the attacks at the sites where they occurred. Among the three sites is Shanksville, PA, where passengers of a plane hijacked by terrorists managed to prevent the terrorists from using the plane as a missile as was done in New York and DC, losing their lives in the process.

It was Pakistanis who committed the horror of the Mumbai Massacre.  It was the Pakistani Intelligence Service that gave a safe haven to Osama bin Ladin.  The Pakistanis have been playing the US as fools for 10 years, giving al Qaeda and the Taliban safe harbor while taking billions of dollars from the US to look for both groups.

So why would be surprised that the Pakistanis are wanting to attack the US on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks?

Go figure.
