Concerns About Barack Hussein Obama

Many Americans have questions about Barack Obama and his views on Israel. And for good reason. His positions on Israel are reckless.

Most concerning is Barack Obama's naïve grasp of the threats against the United States and Israel.

From his opposition to legislation against labeling Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization (barackobama.com) to his willingness to meet with Iranian President Ahmadinejad without any preconditions (CNN/YouTube Debate, 7/23/07), Sen. Barack Obama has raised real questions about his judgment and experience.

Sen. Obama told a Jewish group he supports an undivided Jerusalem, only to flip-flop the very next day. (MSNBC.com, 6/6/08) Another time, Obama called his support for an undivided Jerusalem a "poor phrasing" of words. (Jerusalem Post, 7/14/08)

Obama himself has pointed out that "words matter." And they do, especially to people who care about the future of Israel. And they mattered earlier this year, when Obama stated, "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people." (Politico.com, 3/13/07)

Sen. Barack Obama surrounds himself with a number of individuals and advisors who are hostile to Israel and American Jews. These men have played instrumental roles in shaping Sen. Obama's world views. They include Zbigniew Brzezinski, General Tony McPeak and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. All are known for their anti-Israel views.

Obama has not shown the wisdom, experience or strength to stand up to the people who would do us harm.

It is not hard to see what Barack Hussein Obama is doing. He is promising everything to everyone. On Jerusalem, Obama first stated that that lovely sacred city would never be divided again, then he flipped his position the next day, then he flipped it again a few days later and now he is saying one thing but his website calls for a divided Jerusalem.

On Iran Barack Hussein Obama believes in appeasement for them. He thinks it is better to give in to terror than to fight it. This attitude never works, but will be his policy.

And of course he would deny that Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson spoke for his campaign when he said:

Jackson said that the most important change in the U.S. administration's policy under Barack Obama would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" – as Jackson is quoted – would end.

"Jackson believes that, although 'Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades' remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House," the Post article continued. It is not clear from the report what part of Jackson's comments was made before the World Policy Forum and what part was made in a conversation with Taheri.

And what did Obama's campaign state?

Obama's campaign responded to Jackson's statements Tuesday by stressing that "Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. is not an adviser to the Obama campaign and is therefore in no position to interpret or share Barack Obama's views on Israel and foreign policy."

They have to deny what Jackson said. That way Obama keeps the Jewish Community supporting him. I wonder if they will still support Obama when he sends US troops into Israel to force the Israelis to reliquish the whole land to give to his Arab backers? And would US troops actually do this?

Obama is just like Jackson only smarter. He doesn't run off his mouth, but believes the same way. And that makes him very dangerous. With Jackson, you know out right that he is an anti-Semite. Obama is hiding it well. But that part of his personality will emerge. I just pray that he isn't the President of the United States when it does.
