What A Difference A Day Makes! UPDATED

It was just 24 hours ago when President Obama and the Democrats held both the Executive and Legislative branches of the US Government.  Plus with many Governorships going to Tea Party endorsed candidates, it has been a good night for the Republican Party.

So while you listen to this lovely musical interlude, read the results from a few of the races. Some good, some disappointing, but worthy of your read.

Dinah Washington: What Difference A Day Makes

Results UPDATED:

Alaska:
Senate: Too close to call.
Governor: Sean Parnell
California:
Senate: Barbara Boxer
Governor: Jerry Brown
The following Members of the House were re-elected: Nancy Pelosi, Henry Waxman, Maxine Waters, Loretta Sanchez.
Delaware:
Senate: Christopher Coons
House: John Carney
Florida:
Senate: Marco Rubio
Governor: Rick Scott
Booted out of office: Alan Grayson
Yes Florida, there is a GOP!
Illinois:
Senate: Mark Kirk
Governor: The race is too close to call, but Bill Brady just might pull off this squeaker.
House Race District 8 (My District): Joe Walsh (Good-bye Melissa!)
Nevada:
Senate: Harry Reid
New York:
Senate: Charles Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand
Governor: Andrew Cuomo

Pennsylvania (For Semper Fi Parents):
Senate:Pat Toomey
Governor: Tom Corbett
House District 11: Lou Barletta

While Barney Frank retains his seat,  the good news is that the Republicans control the House, and the Democrat's super majority of 60 is gone in the Senate.  These elected officials better start listening to us, their bosses or in 2 years many will find themselves on the unemployment line.
