As Ahmadinejad Talked, Many Walked & AWACS!

Yesterday evening Ahmadinejad gave his yearly "Death to Israel" speech at the UN. Unlike previous years, this year some of the nations did walk out on him.
France on Wednesday led a walkout of a dozen delegations, including the United States, to protest a fiery speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the UN General Assembly.

"It is disappointing that Mr Ahmadinejad has once again chosen to espouse hateful, offensive and anti-Semitic rhetoric," Mark Kornblau, spokesman to the US mission to the United Nations, said in a statement.

Delegations from Argentina, Australia, Britain, Costa Rica, Denmark, France Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand and the United States left the room as Ahmadinejad began to rail against Israel, a European source said.

Israel had already called for a boycott of the speech, and was not present when the Iranian leader began his address. Canada had already said it would heed the boycott call.

Way to go Canada! You had more courage than the others.

Funny how Sweden is missing from this list. Too busy trying to find Palestinians Arabs who had their organs stolen by the IDF.

In other Iranian news:

The plane that crashed on Sept. 22 was Iran's sole AWAC.
Iran's sole Simorgh AWACS aircraft was lost during a military parade Sept. 22, one of two Iranian military aircraft that crashed in Tehran while participating in a display to mark the anniversary of the start of the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq War.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force operated a single Simorgh, a former Iraqi Air Force Adnan. The Adnan AWACS was in turn a modification of a Soviet-built Ilyushin Il-76 transport.

The Simorgh collided with one of the Air Force's Northrop F-5E Tiger II fighters over the area of the Imam Khomeyni Shrine, southern Tehran. According to eyewitnesses, the crash occurred immediately after the parade. Apparently, no mayday call was issued.

Both aircraft crashed in flames. Initial reports indicate that seven crewmembers were killed in the crash.

In total, Iraq built three AWACS aircraft, one Baghdad, and two Baghdad-2s, the latter later renamed Adnans. One Adnan and the Baghdad were evacuated to Iran during the 1991 Gulf War, while the second Adnan was destroyed on the ground by a coalition air strike in January 1991.

The exact status of the Iranian Simorgh and its onboard systems was long uncertain. However, photographs suggest that the aircraft was equipped with a newly fitted functioning radar suite.
Yes Mahmoud, there really is a G-d of Israel. Never anger Him for His wrath is terrible.

In honor of Canada and the courage they showed I give you this:

O Canada

I can't help but wonder; was Iran really that incompetent or was there an OP going on. If it turns out to have been an OP... it will go down in history as one of the greats!
btw- Great speech Bibi!

The feud between Canada and Iran has been going on for many years and I applaud their actions here at the U.N. At the same time, Canada has been a stalwart partner in the War in Afghanistan. I'd give my eye teeth to trade our President for their Prime Minister.

Thank you Canada.
