A Mideast Devoid Of Christians

This is the goal of the Muslim world.  In every Muslim nation there is an official systematic policy to destroy every Christian church, community, life in order to free themselves of the blight they see within their midst.  This isn't a new phenomena in these countries, they rid themselves of Jews decades ago.
This is the saddest Easter in the long epic of Arab Christianity: The cross is near extinction in the lands of it origin. The much-vaunted diversity of the Middle East is going to be reduced to the flat monotony of a single religion, Islam, and to a handful of languages.

In 1919, the Egyptian revolution adopted a green flag with the crescent and the cross. Both Muslims and Christians participated in the nationalist revolution against British colonialism. Now, according to the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, more than 70 Christians a week are asking to leave the country due to Islamist threats.

The numbers are telling. Today there is only one Middle Eastern country where the number of Christians has grown: Israel. As documented in the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, the Christian community that numbered 34,000 people in 1949 is now 163,000-strong, and will reach 187,000 in 2020.

In the rest of the Middle East, the drive for Islamic purity is going to banish all traces of pre-Islamic pasts. This has affected not only Christians, but other non-Islamic communities too, such as the Zoroastrians and Baha’is in Iran (the late also found refuge in Israel, in Haifa.)

The silence of the global forums, the flawed conscience of human rights groups, the self-denial of the media and the Vatican’s appeasement is helping facilitate this Islamist campaign. According to a report on religious freedom compiled by the US Department of State, the number of Christians in Turkey declined from two million to 85,000; in Lebanon they have gone from 55% to 35% of the population; in Syria, from half the population they have been reduced to 4%; in Jordan, from 18% to 2%. In Iraq, they will be exterminated.

Should the exodus of Christians from Bethlehem continue in the next two or three decades, there may be no clergy left to conduct religious services in Jesus’ birthplace. In Iran, Christians have become virtually non-existent since 1979, when Khomeini ordered the immediate closure of all Christian schools. In Gaza, the 3,000 who remain are subjected to persecution. In Sudan, Christians in the South are forced into slavery.

Israel’s flag a symbol of hope

In Lebanon, the Maronites, the only Christians to have held political power in the modern Arab world, have been reduced to a minority because of Muslim violence and Hezbollah’s rise. In Saudi Arabia, Christians have been beaten or tortured by religious police. Benjamin Sleiman, archbishop of Baghdad, is talking about “the extinction of Christianity in the Middle East.”

The Christian Egypt was symbolically represented by former United Nations Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, a Christian married to a Jewish woman whose sister was the wife of Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban. In 1977, Boutros-Ghali, who was then Egypt’s foreign minister, accompanied President Anwar Sadat to Jerusalem.

Sadat, who as a child had attended a Christian school, was killed because the treaty his signed with the “Zionists,” among other reasons, and his cold peace is now under attack from the new rulers in Cairo.

In 1948, the Middle East was cleansed of its ancient Jews. Today is the Christians’ turn. Just as Islamist totalitarians have ruthlessly persecuted Christians in the Middle East, they have been waging war for the past 63 years to destroy the Jewish state in their midst. That’s why the fate of Israel is intertwined with the fate of the non-Muslim minorities.

Should the Islamists prevail, the Middle East will be completely green, the colour of Islam. Under atomic and Islamist existential threats, the remnant of the Jewish people risks being liquidated before Israel’s centennial in 2048. It’s time for Christians to recognize that Israel’s survival is also critical and vital for them. During the Holocaust, when most Christians were bystanders or collaborators, the Yellow Star was a symbol of death for the Jews. Today, the white flag with the beautiful six pointed star is a symbol of survival and hope for both Jews and Christians.

I wrote in 2008 that the PA is planning to turn the Church of the Nativity into a Mosque.  It is only a matter of time until there are almost no Christians in Bethlehem. Then the PA can evict the Nuns, Priests and Brother who reside at the church (Their usefulness as mouth pieces will be done.), and then loot the place and rework it into a Mosque.

It is not as if Muslims have any respect for the Holy sites of other people.  The desecration of Joseph's Tomb or the Statues of Buddha is the best example of what will happen to every Christian holy site that falls under the sway of these madmen.

Joseph's Tomb

Why is it the Christian churches for the most part, are silent on this? Only a few will cry out for their persecuted brethren.  What is scaring them into silence?

The silence of the Christian world is deafening. Especially to those communities who are being erased from the lands they lived in since way before Mohammad was born.

About That Royal Wedding

Feb. 23: Demonstrators supporting Mohammad Haque and Emdadur Choudhury protest as they arrive at Belmarsh Magistrates Court in south-east London. The trial of two men accused of burning poppies on the anniversary of Armistice Day started on Wednesday. Mohammad Haque, 30, and Emdadur Choudhury, 26, were arrested during a demonstration by Islamist group Muslims Against Crusades in Kensington, west London, on November 11.

(Fox News)

A few days ago, I posted a spoof on the up-coming royal wedding. One of the pictures I posted showed the usual collection of riff-raff known as Islam4UK, Anjem Choudary's gang, doing a London street protest with their posters promising beheading to anyone who dared to say a cross word about Islam.

Some spoof.

Yesterday, Muslims Against the Crusades-or something like that, formally petitioned for a protest permit on the day of the wedding. They are promising to disrupt the wedding.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/04/20/militant-muslim-group-plans-protest-royal-wedding/?test=latestnews

Anjem Choudary is the type of example that Muslims in the West would be advised not to follow. This element is accomplishing nothing more than marginalizing its own people. Is this really what Muslims in Western countries want to be-on the fringes of society, despised by the native populations? That is precisely what they are accomplishing in the UK and other Western European nations, where they spit on local values and traditions and refuse to assimilate. In the US, we have managed (for the most part) to avoid those kinds of extremes because our Muslim immigrants came here educated and with professional skills. Economically, they are not on the lower scales. Yet, even among our own Muslim youth, radicalism is increasingly catching on. As it does, US Muslims are finding themselves increasingly alienated from the rest of society. Correspondingly, anger is increasing in the US as the public sees more examples of radical thought and speech accompanied by occasional terrorist acts and or plots. More and more Americans are saying that Muslims need to accept American values and assimilate if they want to feel welcome here.

If British Muslims are becoming a despised minority, then they have only themselves to blame. To engage in another loud and disrupted protest against the royal wedding will only increase the anger from the British public and hurt the decent British Muslims. It is the latter who need to stand up forcefully and combat this rubbish from within their own community. Silence will be interpreted as assent.

Da'ye'nu

H/T The Ettinger Report

A Passover Hymn For Modern Times.
Passover Hymn, Da'ye'nu: "How many degree of beneficence hath the Almighty conferred upon us?! If He had brought us forth from Egypt, and had not executed judgment upon the Egyptians, it would have sufficed (Da'ye'nu)… If He had inflicted justice upon them…, it would have sufficed (Da'ye'nu')…"

If Israel were merely the most effective battle-tested laboratory available to the USA, the source for over 600 modifications of the F-16, and thousands of cutting-edge modifications in hundreds additional US military systems, enhancing US national security, while providing the US defense industries a unique mega-billion dollars competitive edge in the global market, expanding US employment, research & development and export infrastructures - Da’ye’nu (it would have sufficed to crown Israel as a unique two-way-street ally of the USA);

If Israel were merely the source of breakthrough battle tactics, which were the first to penetrate/jam/destroy the most sophisticated Soviet/Russian surface-to-air missile batteries and radar systems, in addition to transferring to the US the first Soviet MIG-21 and 23 and other Soviet military systems, which tilted global balance of power in favor of the USA, providing the US defense industries with mega-billion dollars bonanza - Da’ye’nu;

If Israel were merely the source of intelligence – shared with the USA - which exceeds the scope of intelligence received by the US from all NATO countries combined (according to Senator Daniel Inouye, former Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and current Chairman of the full Appropriations Committee) and is equal to five CIAs (according to retired General George Keegan, former Chief of US Air Force Intelligence) - Da’ye’nu;

If Israel were merely the country which destroyed Iraq’s nuclear reactor in 1981 (in defiance of global opposition), thus providing the USA a conventional option in the 1991 Gulf War, sparing the US a potential traumatic nuclear confrontation - Da’ye’nu;

If Israel were merely a source of battle-proven experience and military systems – combating IEDs, car bombs, suicide bombers and generic terrorism – shared with US Special Operations units, which battle Islamic terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan, thus minimizing US losses - Da’ye’nu;

If – as stated by the late General Alexander Haig, former Supreme Commander of NATO and former Secretary of State -Israel were merely the largest American aircraft carrier which does not require a single American personnel, which cannot be sunk, which is the most battle-tested and cost-effective, and located in a region, which is critical to vital US economic and national security interests - Da’ye’nu;

If there would not be an Israel in the eastern flank of the Mediterranean, and the US would have to deploy to the region real aircraft carriers with tens of thousands of American servicemen, costing the US taxpayers $20BN annually and possibly dragging the US into local and regional conflicts – all of which has been spared by the existence and capabilities of the Jewish State - Da’ye’nu;

If there would not be havoc in Arab lands, highlighting the Jewish State as the only stable, reliable, credible, capable, predictable, democratic and non-conditional ally of the USA – Da’ye’nu;

If Israel were not the place where- according to Warren Buffett – hundreds of major American companies and investors shop for innovative ideas, which they transform into technologies, products and manufacturing lines, benefitting both American and Israeli employment, trade, research & development and exports – Da’ye’nu;

If Israel were not the source of hundreds of revolutionary medical device, healthcare, telecommunications, Internet, laptops, cellular and social networking technologies/products.- enhancing quality of life in the US and throughout the globe – Da’ye’nu;

If US-Israel covenant were not uniquely based on shared values (dating back to the Pilgrims and the US Founding Fathers), joint interests and mutual threats – Da’ye’nu (It would have sufficed to crown Israel as a unique two-way-street ally of the USA).

Happy Passover!

Dayenu

Would Jew Believe This?

A young boy returned home from Hebrew school, washed his hands and sat down to dinner.

His father asked him what he learned that day in school.

The boy replied that the Rabbi told his class the most amazing story of how the Jews were rescued from the Land of Egypt and brought to the Land of Israel.

His father smiled and asked his son to relate the story the Rabbi told them.

"Sure Dad," the boy said.  "Now this story happened a long time ago, before the time of CNN.  Before the time of computers, and cell phones.  Before even TV.  I think it was in the 1920s or so it happened.

"Egypt was ruled by this guy named Pharaoh.  I think it means "Nasty Egyptian". And we Jews were his slaves. We didn't like being slaves and prayed to G-d to set us free. G-d heard our prayers and sent us a miracle.

"G-d  sent the IDF back in time to rescue the Children of Israel (I think they rescued the parents too.).  The Commandos diverted the Egyptian Army while the Children and their parents fled to the Red Sea (It was red because G-d turned the water to blood like in Zombie Killers 3.).  There the IDF built Pontoon bridges across the Red Sea for the people to go across.  When the Egypt Army tried to follow, the IDF blew up the bridges.

"Then this guy named Moshe Dayan (He is the head of the IDF, I think. Rabbi said he was G-d's greatest profits.) lead the Children of Israel (and their parents) to Mount Sinai where Moshe lays down the law, destroys the Golden Calf and leads them to Israel.

"But it took them 40 years because nobody had a GPS and Moshe would not ask for directions."

His father had a look upon his face that was a cross between total astonishment and WTF.  "Is this what the Rabbi taught you?"

"No Dad,"  the boy said.  "But you wouldn't believe the crazy story he did tell."

Here is that crazy story:
From Chabad

After many decades of slavery to the Egyptian pharaohs, during which time the Israelites were subjected to backbreaking labor and unbearable horrors, G‑d saw the people's distress and sent Moses to Pharaoh with a message: "Send forth My people, so that they may serve Me." But despite numerous warnings, Pharaoh refused to heed G‑d's command. G‑d then sent upon Egypt ten devastating plagues, afflicting them and destroying everything from their livestock to their crops.

At the stroke of midnight of 15 Nissan in the year 2448 from creation (1313 BCE), G‑d visited the last of the ten plagues on the Egyptians, killing all their firstborn. While doing so, G‑d spared the Children of Israel, "passing over" their homes-hence the name of the holiday. Pharaoh's resistance was broken, and he virtually chased his former slaves out of the land. The Israelites left in such a hurry, in fact, that the bread they baked as provisions for the way did not have time to rise. Six hundred thousand adult males, plus many more women and children, left Egypt on that day, and began the trek to Mount Sinai and their birth as G‑d's chosen people.

This video tells the story very well too:

Happy Passover!

Saturday Morning Funnies: Passover Edition

Passover begins Monday Evening, so to bring your funny bone out of the bondage of Egypt here are some funnies for you.

These squirrels are not stuck in the dryer vent.  In fact they are just happy to dance the day away.

An early start on Passover Humor
From Jib Jab to you for Passover:

A Fishy Story

As Moses and the children of Israel were crossing the Red Sea, the children of Israel began to complain to Moses of how thirsty they were after walking so far. Unfortunately, they were not able to drink from the walls of water on either side of them, as they were made up of salt-water.

Then, a fish from that wall of water told Moses that he and his family heard the complaints of the people, but that they through their own gills could remove the salt from the water and force it out of their mouths like a fresh water fountain for the Israelites to drink from as they walked by.

Moses accepted this kindly fish's offer. But before the fish and his family began to help, they told Moses they had a demand. They and their descendants had to be always present at the seder meal that would be established to commemorate the Exodus, since they had a part in the story. When Moses agreed to this, he gave them their name which remains how they are known to this very day, for he said to them, "Go Filter Fish!"
Groaning is definitely allowed.

Muzammil Siddiqi, The Blind Sheikh, Anwar Awlaki and Humanitarian Awards

Imam Muzammil Siddiqi
Head of Garden Grove Islamic Center
Past head of Islamic Society of North America

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk

Imam Muzammil Siddiqi of the Garden Grove (Ca) Islamic Center is due to receive a humanitarian award from the Orange County Human Relations Commission on May 5 in Anaheim. This announcement has set off what is just beginning to be a firestorm in Orange County given Siddiqi's past associations and the fact that he hosted the notorious Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, at his mosque in December 1992 according to Steve Emerson's. Investigative Project on Terrorism. During this visit, Siddiqi reportedly allowed Rahman to give a sermon on violent jihad, which Siddiqi interpreted in real time. This incident was reported in the New Yorker magazine in an article about Adam Gadahn, the American Al Qaeda member who attended Siddiqi's mosque.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2011/03/orange-county-human-relations.html

It would hardly be credidble that Siddiqi did not know of Rahman's reputation in 1992 since it went back to the 1970s in Egypt, from which he was expelled, eventually making his way to the US, where he went on a tour of vile speaking engagements raging against infidels in America.

Now it appears that the Blind Sheikh is not the only notorious character that Siddiqi has associated with. Intelwire.com reports that on September 9, 2011, two days before 9-11, Sidiqqi attended a benefit dinner at UC-Irvine to raise funds for Jamil al Amin (formerly known as H. Rap Brown,) who is serving life in prison for killing a police officer. Also attending that dinner was none other than Anwar Alwaki, an American-born terrorist imam  now hiding in Yemen. Shortly prior to this event, reports Intelwire.com, both Siddiqi and Awlaki had just spoken at a convention in Chicago of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), of which Siddiqi was formerly president. ISNA was listed as  an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Texas Holyland Foundation Trial for money laundering through Islamic charities. ISNA has been identified as an arm of the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood.

http://news.intelwire.com/2011/02/new-911-suspects-in-california-new.html

In the below link, Frontpage Magazine reported that one of the speakers that evening at UCI was the anti-Semitic, anti-American Imam Alim Musa.

http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=18870

In the below link, you can watch a video of Musa's talk at UC-Irvine (Investigative Project on Terrorism).

http://www.investigativeproject.org/236/musa-defends-cop-killer-threatens-us

Was Imam Siddiqi sitting there in that audience that night, as Intelwire.com reports?

To be sure, Siddiqi has his admirers in America in high places. He is a learned man with all the requisite certificates and degrees. He has been accepted as a moderate into the halls of government including a meeting with President Bush in the days after 9-11. Personally, he is urbane and soft-spoken. A couple of years back, I happened to meet him at Chapman University during an interfaith meeting. (Siddiqi is on the faculty at Chapman.) In his talk, he stressed the common origins of the three Abrahamaic faiths and told of how Jews and Muslims lived together in the Middle East in peace for centuries. Yet, in my view, he failed to address challenging questions about what is going on today in the Muslim world.

Of course, Muzammil Siddiqi may have an explanation for all this, and when you attend large gatherings, it doesn't mean you are close to everybody else present or even know them. Yet, it seems there is a certain pattern here with Mr Siddiqi.  The Orange County Human Relations Department is sticking by its decision to honor Siddiqi. That is hardly surprising given the politically-correct nature of this group. Yet, it seems reasonable to me that before the OCHRC goes through with this humanitarian award, Imam Siddiqi should address these issues openly and publicly.

28 UC San Diego Professors Write Letter Criticizing Student Hypocrisy

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk

* This information was passed on to me today in a comment which I inadvertently deleted, but for which I am grateful. I am cross-posting the story on this by my friend Donald Douglas at American Power, who is a professor at Long Beach City College. I invite my lost  commenter to add to this.

http://americanpowerblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/ucsd-professors-slam-anti-israel.html

I also read an account in Prospect Journal Blog of UCSD, which has some sort of affiliation with Students for Justice in Palestine. It pointed out that students held several events regarding the revolutions in the Middle East. It thus, criticized the letter, and in the comments section, I found this:

"Look at the departments with which the signatories of the letter are affiliated.Why are there no professors from History, Ethnic Studies, Sociology, Literature, or Communication on that letter? It might be because, for the most part, professors who teach in the social sciences and humanities have a more nuanced and historically grounded perspective on the the kinds of arguments that these student groups are making. It’s shameful that the professors and administrators who published this letter in the Guardian would label these students’ reasoned and informed critiques of Israel (a state, not a religion) as “anti-Semitic.” Shame on them."

To which I added my own (signed) comment.

"Actually, it is because the Humanities on most university campuses are stuffed with far-left professors who hate Israel and try to indoctrinate their students rather than educate them."

(With two typos, damn it!)

I can see the point on both sides. Certainly, many campuses have seen hastily-arranged discussions of the turmoil that has broken out in the Middle East. I doubt that the despotic regimes involved enjoy much support on campus. However, the important point is not only what has specifically been said about these regimes during these events, but what has been said about Israel and the US as well. Without having attended any, I can hardly imagine that the US and Israel did not come in for condemnation as well.  That is always....

...what's the word?

De rigueur, n'est pas?

The point still begs; why don't the pro-Palestinian supporters in the Muslim Student Association and Students for Justice in Palestine et al, devote more time to the problems within the Arab societies rather than constantly attack Israel?

(Rhetorical question)

And It Begins...

The Arab League Cowards are preparing to demand the UN set up a No Fly Zone over Gaza. This is the same group of cowards who demanded a No Fly Zone over Libya then ran at the first sign of trouble.
The Arab League on Sunday announced during a special meeting in Cairo that it plans to press the UN to impose a no-fly zone over Gaza amid an escalation in violence in the area, AFP reported.

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa said he plans to present the proposal to the UN Security Council, the report said.

The announcement came as Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported on Sunday that UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Roberty Serry successfully brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip including Hamas.

The deal, reportedly reached Saturday night stipulated that the IDF stop its air and artillery strikes against Palestinian terrorist groups, who also reportedly have agreed to halt their rocket and mortar fire.

Neither Jerusalem nor Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip have announced a ceasefire, but senior officials made statements Sunday hinting to their openness towards such a deal.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said early Sunday that Jerusalem was willing to accept a mutual ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza after several days of projectile fire and IDF strikes, adding that "If necessary, we will act, but," he said, "restraint is also a form of strength."

"If they stop firing on our communities, we will stop firing. If they stop firing in general, it will be quiet, it will be good," Barak told Israel Radio.

On the Gazan the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, Al-Quds, said that it was committed to a ceasefire with Israel, saying it was in the "interests of our people not to give Israel an excuse to launch a major military operation in Gaza."

The announcement came only hours after the group claimed responsibility for firing three mortars and a rocket into Israeli territory Sunday morning.

Abu Ahmed, Islamic Jihad's spokesperson, said that his group would cease violence "so long as Israel fulfills it's responsibility and stops attacks against the Palestinian people in Gaza."

Hamas also softened its language on Sunday.

The group's spokesman in the Gaza Strip, Sami Abu Zuhri, on said that "The Palestinian factions are not interested in escalation." He added, "if the Israeli aggression stopped, it would be natural for calm to be restored."

Saturday Morning Funnies #19

It is Saturday and time for the morning entertainment of humor.

Some humor from James Shott:
Catholic Parrots

A lady goes to her priest one day and tells him, 'Father, I have a problem. I have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing.'

What do they say?' the priest inquired.

They say, 'Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?'

'That's obscene!' the priest exclaimed; then he thought for a moment.

'You know,' he said, 'I may have a solution to your problem. I have two male talking parrots, which I have taught to pray and read the Bible.

'Bring your two parrots over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage with Frank and Jacob. My parrots can teach your parrots to pray and worship, and your parrots are sure to stop saying that phrase in no time.'

'Thank you,' the woman responded, 'this may very well be the solution.'

The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he ushered her in, she saw that his two male parrots were inside their cage, holding rosary beads and praying.

Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them.

After a few minutes, the female parrots cried out in unison: 'Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?'

There was stunned silence. Shocked, one male parrot looked over at the other male parrot and exclaimed,

'Put the beads away, Frank, our prayers have been answered!'
Some people have birds, some have dogs, and others have cats.  Just remember never to do this to your cat:

Deuling Op-Eds in OC Register

Rabbi David Eliezrie

Hassam Ayloush

This morning's Orange County Register has a pair of op-eds regarding the February 13th Yorba Linda protest against two radical Islamic speakers at a dinner sponsored by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). As previously reported here, a few dozen people who showed up at the protest had an agenda far beyond that planned by the protest organizers and speakers. A couple of hours after the protest began and most of the speakers had spoken, some people showed up and shouted offensive chants at the dinner attendees as they arrived. It was inappropriate, especially since some attendees had brought their children.

CAIR and its LA-based leader Hassam Ayloush have used this split-off incident to condemn the entire protest and the speakers, They have propagated an edited 5-minute video of the event attempting to show a direct link between the speakers and those who chose to shout at the attendees.

As I previously stated, I was a speaker at the event and I have reported what I said (It doesn't seem to be on tape).  I am perfectly comfortable with what I said and I had no connection to those who broke away form the actual protest to go over to the parking lot, where the police had formed a barrier and shout at people.

The Orange County Register op-eds are by Rabbi David Eliezrie, who spoke at the rally and Hassam Ayloush of CAIR (who was not present to my knowledge -unless he was attending the event inside). I have never met either man. (I did not meet Eliezrie at the event in question.)

Anyway, the first link is the op-ed by Eliezrie, followed by that of Ayloush.

Of course, I have a few comments for Ayloush.

First of all, as usual, what is left out is the nature of the two speakers we were protesting. Oakland-based Amir Abdel Malik Ali has a long history of inflammatory rhetoric against Israel and often makes ridiculous anti-Semitic statements on various California university campuses. I am not speaking from hearsay or research. I have heard him speak many times at UC-Irvine, where I teach and have engaged him in Q and A debate just as many times. Ali would be insulted if one called him a moderate.

Imam Amir Abdel Malik Ali

Siraj Wahhaj, a Brooklyn-based imam, has managed to convince many people in high places that he is a moderate. He is very cautious about what he says on video-tape. Yet on audio, there is a record of him making violent statements to his "flocks". In May 1992, days after the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles, Wahhaj gave a sermon entitled, "Stand Up for Justice".

"If we go to war, brothers and sisters – and one day we will, believe me – that's why you're commanded [to fight in] jihad,"..... When Allah demands us to fight, we're not stopping and nobody's stopping us."

"Believe me, brothers and sisters, Muslims in America are the most strategic Muslims on Earth," Wahhaj says in the 1992 sermon, arguing the government can't drop bombs on warring Muslims in the U.S. without causing collateral damage."

"We don't need to arm the people with 9mm and Uzis," he says. "You need to arm them with righteousness first. And then once you arm them with righteousness first, then you can arm them."

Don't take my word for it. The below link has the audio of this speech in two parts (along with several other of his sermons). You can download and listen to it yourselves. The quoted parts are found in part 2 in his conclusion.

Imam Siraj Wahhaj

Not only is Wahhaj on audiotape talking about violent Jihad (and hardly in a critical manner). He was also tied to the Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, now in prison for plotting to blow up targets in New York, and for whom Wahhaj testified as a character witness. Finally, he was identified by US Attorney Mary Jo White as an unidentified co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. (He was never charged.)

These are the two ICNA speakers that Ayloush doesn't want to talk about. The fact is that the Yorba Linda protest was organized to speak against hate-the hate propagated by these two men.

Which leads to another point. Ayloush laments bigotry directed against Muslims as he attempts to smear some 1,000 people for the actions of a few dozen. Yet, he and his organization don't have much to say about bigotry being directed every day to non-Muslims in places like Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and other countries. I am talking about deadly bigotry including murder, rape, burning of churches and synagogues and driving non-Muslims out of the country. It is that bigotry which we are fighting.

In paragraph two, Ayloush writes of bigotry, yet he cannot explain the documented bigotry of Imam Ali, who just on the UCI campus has celebrated suicide bombers as martyrs and heroes, while referring to certain Americans as "Zionist Jews".  Just last May at UCI (in my presence), he admitted supporting Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad ( US-designated terrorist organizations) while telling the Jews in the audience- "You Jews-Y'all the New Nazis".

All of this was never mentioned by Mr Ayloush in his letter complaining about bigotry. I call on Mr Ayloush to condemn Imam Ali for the innumerable statements he has made against not only Israel, but America and Jews. I also call on Ayloush to listenh to the above sermon and condemn Wahhaj for the violent statements he has made-as specified above. I am not holding my breath, however. Ayloush will not condemn these two persons. After all, CAIR is a creation (1994) of the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood we have been hearing about lately.

Mr Ayloush didn't say anything about that either, did he?

The Olive Tree Initiative at UC Irvine -The Zionist Organization of America Letters

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk

In the wake of the previously reported disclosure that UC-Irvine students participating in the Olive Tree Initiative reportedly met with a top Hamas official in the West Bank in 2009, the Zionist Organization of America has written two letters expressing outrage. The first letter is to the Jewish Federation of Orange County. The second is to UCI Chancellor Michael Drake. Both letters were provided to the Orange County Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism, from where they are cross-posted here. Both letters are blistering. They may be accessed from the below link.

What can I say? As one who has taught part-time at UCI for almost 13 years, I can tell you that the ZOA, the Orange County  Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism, myself and others have been complaining about this crap for years. All we can do is speak out and inform the public as we stand up not only for Israel, but more importantly for America and against anti-Semitism. All we have ever encountered is resistance and denial.

Now, however, the chickens are coming home to roost, not for anything that our side has done, rather because of what the other side has done. We knew that eventually, the truth would come out.

As the cop in Scarface said, "It's your tree. You're sitting in it."

Syrian Wild Ass Sighted

The Syrian Wild Ass (Pictured Above) has been considered extinct since 1927.  Yet in recent days a male of the species has been sighted in Syria.

From Wikipedia:
The Syrian Wild Ass (Equus hemionus hemippus) is an extinct subspecies of Equus hemionus that ranged across Syria, Jordan and Iraq.

Syrian Wild Ass
The Syrian Wild Ass was the smallest form of Equidae and could not be domesticated. Its coloring changed with the seasons – a tawny olive coat for the summer months and pale sandy yellow for the winter.

It is believed this is the animal described as the “wild ass” in several books of the Old Testament, including Job, Psalms, Sirach and Jeremiah. European travelers in the Middle East during the 15th and 16th centuries reported seeing large herds. However, its numbers began to drop precipitously during the 18th and 19th century due to overhunting, and its existence was further imperiled by the regional upheaval of World War I. The last known wild specimen was fatally shot in 1927 at Al Ghams near the Azraq oasis in Jordan, and the last captive specimen died the same year at the Vienna Zoo.
Scientists are amazed at the fortitude of the specimen.  It is amazing that this Ass has been able to survive the turmoil that the specimen has been subjected to.

What is really strange is that the Syrian Wild Ass has been seen being protected by the American Jackass.
