Boycott Disney!

Disney!  Famous for theme parks, films, cartoons, merchandising and anti-Semitism.  Yes anti-Semitism.  From Walt Disney's outright hatred of Jews to their winking at the Hamas character Farfour the Mouse to now this:
The Victims of Arab Terror International organization (VAT) has launched a “Fight Back” campaign against Disney's divestiture of Israeli products.

The campaign comes in response to an announcement last month by Abigail Disney, daughter of Disney co-founder Roy Disney, saying that she was renouncing her share in profits from Israel's Ahava cosmetics firm and would instead support those working against Israel.

In response, VAT founder Shifra Hoffman called on the public Monday in a statement to boycott Disney parks, productions and products.

Disney said she is pulling out from Ahava because its products are manufactured at Mitzpe Shalem, located in southern Judea, along the Dead Sea. The Disney family's Shamrock Holdings company owns about 18.5 percent of the shares in Ahava.

Abigail Disney issued a statement saying, “I cannot in good conscience profit from what is technically the 'plunder' or 'pillage' of occupied natural resources and the company's situating its factory in an Israeli settlement in the Occupied West Bank.” She added that she would donate her shares to “organizations working to end this illegal exploitation.”

Hoffman also announced that on Wednesday her organization will be distributing school supplies to needy children of terror victims in advance of the start of the Israeli school year, which begins next week.

Poor Abigail Disney.  She gets money from Jews.  Those evil, horrible people who persecute the innocent, loving Arabs.  So she will give her money to Hamas.  A group that is so dedicated to peace that they announce their aims to achieve said peace openly.

Proper Disney sentiments in a nutshell.

I speak with my pocketbook in this matter.  I won't go to Disney movies, buy their merchandise, go to their over priced theme parks.  But I will donate to Victims of Arab Terror (VAT).

The Year Of The Buycott

That is correct.  Buycott.  It started in April with the call to boycott Israeli wines for Passover.  A boycott that not only fell flat, but backfired upon the organizers as seen by the pictures here (hat tip to Israel Matzav).  For every time that a call to boycott Israel came alive in Canada, the community was notified, and they came out to buy Israeli products.

It has spread from Canada to the US when there was a boycott of Ahava products called from the idiots whores of Code Pink.  That has failed.

On World Refugee Day Pity The Idiot, Murdering Arab Day, there was a call to boycott Israeli Products at Trader Joe's.  According to the company, they saw their greatest one-day sales profits on that day.

Yes. The tactic of boycotting Israeli Products is working well in Canad and the United States.
Another anti-Zionist attempted boycott in Canada has backfired, with Israeli products enjoying sales rates much higher than usual.

Anti-Israel groups had threatened MEC – Canada’s Mountain Equipment Co-op - with a boycott because of its inclusion of Israeli products in its inventory. But barely anyone showed up for the boycott, and instead, large crowds of Israel supporters came to buy Israeli products.

The Canada Jewish Tribune reports that several MEC stores across Canada experienced unusually high sales for its Israeli products on Sunday of last week. Shelves with Israeli-made products – numerous styles of seamless underwear and hydration systems products – had to be re-stocked a couple of times each day.

What had been planned as giant demonstrations against Israel in Toronto and Vancouver resulted in tiny-to-small groups of protestors who were dwarfed by crowds of Zionists purchasing Israeli items. B’nai Brith and the Canada-Israel Committee joined forces to organize a “buy-cott” in response to the boycott.

Salomon Rayek of B’nai Brith Canada in Vancouver reported total success, saying that only three anti-Israel demonstrators showed up at the MEC store in Calgary on Saturday, while the next day, “a large number of Jews and Israel’s supporters showed up at the stores and spent a good chunk of money buying Israeli products... I understand that in Toronto about 20 protesters showed up to protest, and on the next day there was a very large Jewish and pro-Israel presence [coming] to buy Israeli goods."

Shades of April 2009

The story appears to be a repeat of what occurred in April of this year at a Toronto liquor store.

After a Jewish non-Zionist group tried to organize an anti-Israel protest in front of the store, asking Passover celebrants to mark their holiday without Israeli-made wines, hundreds of pro-Israeli consumers took the opportunity to hold a pro-Israel festival and bought up the store’s entire stock of Israeli wine.

Brands such as Carmel, Barkan, Golan Heights, Gush Etzion (Efrat), Binyamina, Baron, Segal Dalton and others were sold out within a matter of hours.
What started as a way to counter the anti-Semantic idea of boycotting Israeli wines, is turning into a movement to counter the hate.

BUYCOTT ISRAEL!

It is time to take action!  Time to put your money where your mouth is.  To find out how, click here.  Do it for your conscience.  Do it to stick it to Code Pink.  But most importantly:  Do it because it is the right thing to do!

Buy Israel!

Code Pink And Its Anti-Semitism

Not content with hating American troops, and showing their true leftist colors, Code Pink has declared war on Israeli beauty company Ahava.
Dozens of women in bikinis protested Wednesday near Washington cosmetics stores against the purchase of Ahava beauty products, that are produced in the Israeli settlement of Mitzpe Shalem in the West Bank.

The protest was initiated by the American Code Pink anti-war movement, and the demonstrators' bodies were streaked with mud, some featuring the words "Ahava is a dirty business".

Code Pink alleges that the Israeli cosmetics company that promises to share the "beauty secrets from the Dead Sea" is also "hiding the ugly truth—its products actually come from stolen Palestinian natural resources in the occupied territory of the Palestinian West Bank, and are produced in the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Shalem."

The movement launched its "Stolen Beauty" boycott campaign against international company, which exports to 25 countries around the world, last month.

"We are here to tell Ahava, which claims to be devoted to beauty and purity, that you cannot cover up occupation and violation of international law," said Paris Marron, CODEPINK's national online organizer. "We call on Ahava to come clean."

Rae Abileah, a member of the movement who took part in the protest, said they are leading an international campaign against the company's products, in protest of their production in the "occupied Palestinian territory".

She said they had entered cosmetics stores and handed the managers letters with factual information on Ahava's production process, and demanded they stop selling these products, since it is against the Geneva Convention.
Since when is beauty products covered by the Geneva Conventions of War? They aren't and this is just another attempt by the left to drive Israelis Jews out of Israel and give the whole nation to the Arabs.

Some information about Mitzpe Shalem:
Mitzpe Shalem, situated in the northern area of the Dead Sea, was established in 1977 by a Nahal group. Mitzpe Shalem is located in the Judean Desert between the sea and the desert, and overlooks an enchanting view. Mitzpe Shalem is about a 45-minute drive from Jerusalem. It has a rural, desert character that fits in well with the natural environment.

Mitzpe Shalem is a “renewed kibbutz” which has undergone privatization and focuses its endeavor on building a healthy society and high quality community systems in education, culture, health, and community services.

Mitzpe Shalem is affiliated with the Dead Sea (Megilot) Regional Council consisting of, in addition to Kibbutz Mitzpe Shalem, also Kibbutz Almog, Kibbutz Kaliah, and Kibbutz Beit Ha’Aravah, the Vered Yeriho (Rose of Jericho) cooperative town and the Community Educational Institute Ovnat.

Mitzpe Shalem Community

Mitzpe Shalem is a young and vibrant community. The majority of the community has lived in the kibbutz since its beginning, and over the years many single people and families joined the kibbutz.
We have a very colorful community, that is open minded, well educated and creative.

The social make-up of the families in terms of age and culture make this community very active and caring. We try to live in harmony with each other and with the environment, and each individual is free to live his life the way he or she chooses.

Living in the desert brings us closer to each other, making us into one big family; we give one another caring and support in times of trouble and happiness alike. We celebrate bar-mitzvahs and holidays together and we have a monthly cultural activity.

The community is secular by nature but respects tradition and the holidays.
90% of the families speak English or at least understand it, and children learn English from the age of 7.

The Municipal Management and the Organizational Structure

All kibbutz members and all members who intend to build their private homes in the kibbutz will become members of the cooperative municipal society whose function is to manage the municipal life in the community. This includes setting up committees and electing directors, determining the budget and the level of taxation in the community, etc.

Kibbutz Mitzpe Shalem is incorporated as a cooperative municipal society, and currently owns assets and production sectors. New members join the cooperative municipal society but do not share the kibbutz businesses.

So now land that was Israel from 1948 is to be considered "Occupied Territories" by the Moonbats on the left. They don't believe in a 2-State Solution. It is to be only one state: Palestine. Ruled by Shar'ia Law with Christians, Druse and Baha'i consigned to the status of Dhimmi and Jews to be either removed from the land or killed, their holy sites destroyed or turned into Muslim shrines.

Ahava makes a wonderful line of cosmetics using the salts of the Dead Sea. The same salts that Cleopatra used for her beauty products. Click here to order some of nature's and Israel's natural beauty. Your skin will thank you every time you use them.

As for Code Pink, perhaps they should take a good look in the mirror. For a group that says the War in Afghanistan is bad for the women there, they should remember what it was like for the women of Afghanistan while the Taliban was in power. Funny how they were silent then.
