Duck Dynasty To A & E: NO SHOW!

I do not watch Duck Dynasty, I am NOT a fan, and I have watched the craze over this show for the last few months.  I do find it refreshing to have a show on television that promotes family values, honesty and prayer.  So the furor over what Phil Robertson said is just a bunch of extreme Homosexuals getting their panties in a bunch.   And A & E fired Phil for his words.  The Robertson clan has given this statement:

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support.  The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E's decision.  We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.  While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm.  We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty.   Again, thank you for your continued support of our family.

Duck Dynasty is the highest rated program on Cable TV.  That is something A & E should remember.  Their viewer base is not gay men and women.  And their viewers are furious at A & E.  Something they and their advertisers should remember and consider very strongly.  I wonder if these gay activists will start condemning Muslim Imams when the demand (and help bring about) the deaths of gays?

Move Out The Chaplains, Move In The Counselors.

Hat Tip to the Right Truth

No this is not a Halloween prank.  It is a systematic plan to remove G-d from every facet of the military.  No longer will cadets be taking their honor oath in the name of G-d.  It is optionalChristians are considered terrorists.  And now the Navy is doing away with Chaplains.  They are replacing them with licensed practical counselors.
For years, the Navy Chaplain Corps has undergone little scrutiny or evaluation of its capabilities or effectiveness. Once examined, it becomes clear that the Chaplain Corps is expensive and provides a redundant religious capability, and its members are routinely employed beyond their capabilities. Therefore, the Department of the Navy (DoN) should begin phasing out active duty chaplains, replace them with licensed professional counselors (LPCs), and utilize the Reserve Chaplain Corps for duty exclusively in combat-designated areas.

When a person is troubling and needs advice he or she doesn't turn to a LPC, they turn to G-d.  Will they prevent religious services on bases?  And if allowed, who will lead them?  Is this only Christian chaplains or are other faiths included in this?  I wonder if this will apply to Muslim Imams?  Or are they the privileged faith?

I doubt any LPC would have the courage or fortitude of spirit to sacrifice themselves the way Alexander D. Goode, George L Fox, Clark V Poling and John P Washington did on that horrible night on Feb 3, 1943 on the USAT Dorchester.

4 men of G-d who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow man.

All Hail The Messiah Who Has Come Anew!!!

For over 4 years I have satirized the Liberal proclamation of Barack Hussein Obama's status of Messiah in my Book of Obama.  I did not expect that they Liberal establishment of the United States, a group steeped in atheism and hatred of the sacred and religious would ever use religion to promote Barack Hussein Obama.  But they are doing just that.
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Street vendors across downtown Charlotte are selling posters and artwork depicting President Obama as Jesus Christ and the Democratic National Convention is expected to feature a stained-glass window backdrop during their meeting.

One poster features an image of the president in prayer with the headline, “Prophecy Fulfilled.”
“Barak is of Hebrew origin and its meaning is ‘flash of lightning,” the poster notes, referencing a passage in in the Old Testament book of Judges.

Hussein, they allege, is a Biblical word meaning “good and handsome.” “So you see, Barak was destined to be a good and handsome man that would rise like a flash of lightning to win victory in a battle against overwhelming odds,” the poster read.

The posters were being sold outside security zones at the Democratic National Convention. The posters are not sanctioned by the DNC.

An Obama calendar, obtained by Fox News, features two religious images of the Commander-in-Chief. The month of August includes a photograph of Obama’s birth certificate with the words “Heaven sent.” The president was born on Aug. 4th.

The entry also includes a photograph of Obama along with a passage of Scripture from the New Testament.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” the entry read — referencing John 3:16.
The month of November includes an image of individuals with their hands on Obama’s back — with the words “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
Fox News also obtained a photograph of a DNC stage design. It resembled a giant stained glass window. It’s unclear what the imagery will be used for.
The comparisons to Jesus Christ have brought strong condemnation from some evangelicals — including Robert Jeffress, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.

“If Barack Obama is the promised Messiah, I think there are going to be many Christians who are profoundly disappointed,” Jeffress told Fox News. “One only has to look at Obama’s record to understand that he is absolutely, positively not the promised One.” source – Fox News

How fitting for a convention that has removed the name of G-d has been removed from the DNC platform, or that Jerusalem is no longer the Capital of Israel, or that a very radical Imam gave the Blessing over yesterday's session.  An Imam who calls for the death of all Jews and Shar'ia Law to be the governing law over the United States.

I can assure my readers that Barack Hussein Obama is NOT the Messiah.  He can now be called the  Meschuge. (Yiddish for crazy.)

I think in reply to this blasphemy we G-d fearing people should reply with this:

יִהְיוּ-יָמָיו מְעַטִּים;    פְּקֻדָּתוֹ, יִקַּח אַחֵר.
Let his days be few;  Let another take his office.

Notre Dame: Obama Commencement Speech - Bishop Boycotts

by Maggie Thornton

President Barack Obama is scheduled to deliver the commencement speech for the University of Notre Dame's 2009 graduation class. Notre Dame has not only invited President Obama to speak at the ceremony, they will bestow upon him an honorary doctor of laws degree. Bishop John D'Arcy, whose Diocese includes the University of Notre Dame, says he will boycott the ceremony.

Bishop John D'Arcy

Bishop D'Arcy is known for his efforts to protect parishioners from abusive priests. He had very harsh words for the University's choice of speakers. Speaking of Obama's decision to federally fund embryonic stem cell research, D'Arcy said the President:
...has now placed in public policy ... his long-stated unwillingness to hold human life sacred.

While claiming to separate politics from science, he has in fact separated science from ethics and has brought the American government, for the first time in history, into supporting direct destruction of innocent human life...

A White House spokesperson replied, saying that the President welcomes the "spirit of debate and healthy disagreement on important issues.
National Review Online gathered comments from educational experts and Catholicism. George Weigel, an American Catholic author, founder of The James Madison Foundation and a Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, was especially poignant:
Notre Dame’s decision to make President Obama its 2009 commencement speaker is a very bad thing. It’s bad for Notre Dame, bad for Catholic moral witness in America, and bad for the bishops who are trying to mount a defense against the Obama administration’s assault on the conscience rights of Catholic health-care professionals.

The invitation to deliver a commencement address, especially when coupled with the award of an honorary degree, is not a neutral act. It’s an act by which a Catholic institution of higher learning says, “This is a life worth emulating according to our understanding of the true, the good, and the beautiful.” It is frankly beyond my imagining how Notre Dame can say that of a president who has put the United States back into the business of funding abortion abroad; a president who made a mockery of the very idea of moral argument in his speech announcing federal funding for embryo-destructive stem cell research; a president whose administration and its congressional allies are snatching tuition vouchers out of the hands of desperately poor Washington, D.C., children who just as desperately want to attend Catholic schools.
Visit the National Review Online article. It offers some fine thinking on the matter. It is well-worth reading whether or not you are Catholic.

The Cardinal Newman Society has sponsored an online petition to encourage the University to rescind the invitation. The petition has 115,123 signers. Over 11,000 have signed since I first viewed the petition last evening. You can sign the petition at NotreDameScandal.com.

It is interesting to note that the Catholic vote for Obama was the largest faith vote among the "religions," with 54 percent of Catholics voting for Obama. The accompanying article with the chart below from The Pew Forum says that "Obama performed particularly well among Latino Catholics," - 67 percent voted for Obama.

The President's views on the sanctity of life were widely known during the campaign. As an Illinois state senator, Obama voted to kill a bill that would prevent killing a baby born alive. Nurse Jill Stanek was all over television and radio testifying to what Obama's views on infanticide really meant, and her personal experience with the issue. Really, it cannot get worse than that - but he won anyway. During the campaign, he told us that he would immediately recind a Bush executive order preventing taxpayer money being used overseas for funding abortions - and if you didn't believe him then, it was one of his first acts as President.
