The Lost Bush E-Mails

Millions of e-mails that were thought to be lost from the Bush Administration (Bush 43 not his father) have been recovered.  Various left-wing groups went to court to recover the e-mails (with the hope of bringing criminal charges against George W. Bush), but their hopes for that outcome were dashed when the e-mails were placed in the National Archives and will not be opened for 50 years (Some pesky law written during FDR's Administration keeps such papers locked up that long.  Damn those liberals!)

I do have a good source at the Archives who allowed me to glimpse the majority of these e-mails.  They say this:

I am Alhaji Ahmed Bulus, an accountant general with the nigerian national petroleum corporation (nnpc), and also the chairman of contract award committee (cac). i was well informed of your stronghold in business over the years, an incentive that induced me writing you to seek your ability at sustaining the conclusion of a pending transaction for our mutual benefit.

We have put in place instrument of payment for US$32M (THIRTY TWO MILLION US Dollars only), which is now in a dedicated account with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The above fund came from the over-invoicing of contracts awarded to a consurtium of foreign firms in 1994 for the construction of the Eleme/Chemical and Liquefied Natural gas plant in Port-Harcourt worth US$1.2 Billion. The contract has been executed and the original contractors paid in full. Hence, the US$32M in question is therefore free to be transfered overseas upon proper application without any risk whatsoever.

IN THE COURSE OF DISCHARGING MY DUTIES,I DISCOVERED THAT SOME GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS IN THE PAST, COMMITTED SOME IRREGULARITIES IN THE FORM OF OVER INVOICED CONTRACT VALUES WHICH EVENTUALLY GO INTO THEIR PRIVATE BANK ACCOUNTS. WHAT INTERESTED ME MOST AND FOR WHICH REASON I AM WRITING YOU IS THAT THIS PARTICULAR CONTRACT WAS AWARDED TO A FOREIGN CONTRACTOR WHICH WASOVER ESTIMATED TO THE TUNE OF US$32million(thirty two million dollars) IN OUR RECORDS HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND COMMISSIONED. THIS CONTRACTOR HAS RECEIVED FULL PAYMENT FOR THE CONTRACT EXECUTED FOR MY CORPORATION, LEAVING BEHIND THE SUM OF US$32million WHICH REPRESENTS THE OVER ESTIMATED CONTRACT VALUE CURRENTLY LYING AT THE CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA.

BECAUSE OF THE HASTE WITH WHICH THE LAST GOVERNMENT WAS REMOVED FROM OFFICE, THESE MEN HAD NO CHANCE TO COLLECT THIS MONEY BEFORE LEAVING OFFICE. BUT AS A RESULT OF UPDATED PAYMENT ADVISE AT THE CENTRAL BANK, IT HAS BEEN AWAITING TRANSFER TO A FOREIGN ACCOUNT. IN MY REPORT, I RECOMMENDED THAT THIS FUND SHOULD BE PAID BUT ON THE CONDITION THAT THE CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE INFORMED.

MY RECOMMENDATION WAS ACCEPTED AND THERE WAS A MANDATE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE FOREIGN CONTRACTOR, BUT SINCE THE CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN FULLY PAID FOR THE JOB, I NOW WANT TO DIVERT THIS MONEY TO ANOTHER FOREIGN ACCOUNT.

Due to the nature of accrual of this fund, it has to be applied for by a foreign contractor/company and payment can only be made into a foreign account hence this contact is necessary to accomplish this deal. You (or your company) shall be compensated with 30% of the amount as the account owner, 5% shall be used for the reimbursement of all expenses that will be incurred by both parties during the course of this financial transaction.

The remaining 65% is for us.

We shall urgently require of you the following by fax or email:

1.Name, Telephone and/or Fax Numbers of beneficiary

2.Name, and full address of the company.

3.Complete particulars of the bank account where you wish the funds to be transfered. This should include the account number, bank, address, the telephone, fax and telex number of the bank.

My colleagues and I have had some fruitful discussions with relevant top officials of both the Federal Ministry of Finance (FMF) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and they have agreed to cooperate with the transfer. An application for fund transfer shall be made at the appropriate Ministries in favour of the beneficiary (you or your company). Thereafter, your company shall be officially regarded as having executed the contract for the Nigerian National Petroleum company (NNPC) for which payment is being made.

This process makes the operation legal and according to the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

however, before further details of this laudable transaction will be revealed to you. i must be convinced of your integrity, transparency and honest, because this is highly, business transaction that requires someone with experience, exposure and more than average means of livelihood. please treat this transaction as strictly confidential as we are civil servants who would not want any exposure.

The Bushes in Preston Hollow: How Iraq May Follow Them There

It has been 18 years since the north Dallas homestead of J.R. Ewing departed prime time, leaving behind the vision of glittering oil baron balls, Dallas skyscrapers and infidelity at Southfork. That "larger-than-life" image of Dallas society lingered in the minds of people around the country. Now, a former U.S. President who has dabbled a bit in the oil business, has come to the north Dallas neighborhood of Preston Hollow. George and Laura Bush have back moved in.

Preston Hollow is, or has been, home to the rich and famous: Ross Perot, Roger Staubach, Mary Kay Ash, T. Boone Pickens, American Airlines' Bob Crandall, and the Bushes until he was elected Texas Governor. It's said that purchasing a "tear-down" in Preston Hollow will cost about $800,000 with estates costing up to $40 million. The 8,500 sq. ft. Bush home is at 10141 Daria Place, and the street was gated and closed to the public when the Bushess moved in. Neighbors are waiting to see what happens next.

David Feherty, a journalist, a CBS golf commentator and a neighbor living about a "par-5" away from the Bush's new home has some advice for the President and Mrs. Bush - move to Crawford - build an alligator-filled moat around the place - come back to Dallas in about 30 years...

Feherty seems to be a social crank, and I find that unusual because he's a "golf analyst," after all and that whole golf scene is usually so friendly and gentlemanly (except for Tiger's recent and accelerated tantrums). Feherty likes "Dubya," however" and he is sympathetic to the plight of the former First Family as they try to maneuver the local rich and famous:

Even with their Secret Service entourage, the Bushes are going to be besieged by herds of North Dallas McMansion-dwellers, more brown-nosed and full of BS than any longhorn. Nouveaux riche and face-lifted old-monied fossils alike will descend upon them like ants to the honeypot every time they set foot outside their door. The area that encompasses the Park Cities and Preston Hollow is home to roaming packs of these social climbers. I’m talking to you, the guy with the champagne flute, the stupid grin, and the trophy wife who, if she has one more facelift, will be wearing a triangular beard. You’re just the type who will want to show that famous hospitality for which Texas is renowned, and your nasty little dog will try to hump poor Miss Beazley half to death. (Although that former First Scottish Terrier has shown some gnashers recently, so Fido beware.)

Pretty funny, actually.

The advice to return to Dallas in about 30 years was to allow the time needed before "any of us knows the truth about how and why he [President Bush] played some of the rotten cards he was dealt," addressing the Bush legacy of Iraq and Afghanistan:

From my own experience visiting the troops in the Middle East, I can tell you this, though: despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Osama bin Laden, there’s a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death. I’ve never met a soldier who didn’t love this president and this country, and I’ve met a bunch of them, at home and abroad, in hospitals and in theater. At Walter Reed, Bethesda Naval Medical Center, and the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, I have visited dozens of patients, and I always ask of them before I leave: “What do you want to do when you get out?” No matter how broken or burned, or how many limbs they are missing, they give only one answer: “I want to go back. I want to rejoin my team, to finish our mission.” They are rightfully proud of what they have done and want nothing more than to be with their brothers and sisters in arms, because they know the consequences if their job is left unfinished. Right here on American soil, we will end up with unqualified people having to do the job they have been doing over there so incredibly well, and with such extraordinary compassion. The fact is, Americans in America have been safe since 9/11, almost the whole length of G2’s term as president, and for that we should be thankful.

I don't know about you, but that choked me up a bit. I hope Mr. and Mrs. Bush receive many blessings in their new home, because I know they will be a blessing to many.

We will persecute the Zionists

Land for what, now? "Zahar: 'We will persecute the Zionists'," Israel left Gaza in 2005 and what have they gotten in return? Rockets and attacks. Death and destruction. Day after day, year after year.

Instead of building a nation, Hamas has resorted to its usual tactic of terror and intimidation. Goaded on by Iran, they never cease in their assault.

On the 60th anniversary of the Palestinians bad decision to reject UN Resolution 181, they now make this claim:

Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said Wednesday that a Palestinian state will be established on all of the land of Palestine and not only on parts of it, and that it will include "Jaffa, Lod and Haifa."

Zahar also reiterated Hamas' unwillingness to recognize the State of Israel and said that the group "will continue to persecute the Zionists wherever they are, after we prove that the Zionist army can be defeated - contrary to what was believed in the past, that it is impossible to beat the Zionists."

Speaking in the Gaza Strip, he went on to affirm Palestinian right of return, claiming that the "right of return of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians is closer than ever."

"After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them… we will persecute them to eternity, and the sun of the freedom and independence of the Palestinians will burn all of the Zionists," he continued.

But we should not condemn Hamas outright. If that wasn't proof enough of their genocidal tendencies, one just need look at their charter. That wonderfully crafted work on the par with Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Such a work should be standard reading for every budding Jihadist.

Article Seven: The Universality of Hamas

By virtue of the distribution of Muslims, who pursue the cause of the Hamas, all over the globe, and strive for its victory, for the reinforcement of its positions and for the encouragement of its Jihad, the Movement is a universal one. It is apt to be that due to the clarity of its thinking, the nobility of its purpose and the loftiness of its objectives. It is in this light that the Movement has to be regarded, evaluated and acknowledged. Whoever denigrates its worth, or avoids supporting it, or is so blind as to dismiss its role, is challenging Fate itself. Whoever closes his eyes from seeing the facts, whether intentionally or not, will wake up to find himself overtaken by events, and will find no excuses to justify his position. Priority is reserved to the early comers. Oppressing those who are closest to you, is more of an agony to the soul than the impact of an Indian sword. “And unto thee have we revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever scripture was before it, and a watcher over it. So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which has come unto thee. For each we have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way. Had Allah willed, He could have made you one community. But that He may try you by that which he has given you [He has made you as you are]. So vie with one another in good works. Unto Allah, you will all return. He will then inform you of that wherein you differ.” Hamas is one of the links in the Chain of Jihad in the confrontation with the Zionist invasion. It links up with the setting out of the Martyr Izz a-din al-Qassam and his brothers in the Muslim Brotherhood who fought the Holy War in 1936; it further relates to another link of the Palestinian Jihad and the Jihad and efforts of the Muslim Brothers during the 1948 War, and to the Jihad operations of the Muslim Brothers in 1968 and thereafter. But even if the links have become distant from each other, and even if the obstacles erected by those who revolve in the Zionist orbit, aiming at obstructing the road before the Jihad fighters, have rendered the pursuance of Jihad impossible; nevertheless, the Hamas has been looking forward to implement Allah’s promise whatever time it might take. The prophet, prayer and peace be upon him, said: The time will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him! This will not apply to the Gharqad, which is a Jewish tree (cited by Bukhari and Muslim)

Article Thirteen: Peaceful Solutions, [Peace] Initiatives and International Conferences

[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion; the nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its faith, the movement educates its members to adhere to its principles and to raise the banner of Allah over their homeland as they fight their Jihad: “Allah is the all-powerful, but most people are not aware.” From time to time a clamoring is voiced, to hold an International Conference in search for a solution to the problem. Since when did the Unbelievers do justice to the Believers? “And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed. Say: Lo! the guidance of Allah [himself] is the Guidance. And if you should follow their desires after the knowledge which has come unto thee, then you would have from Allah no protecting friend nor helper.” Sura 2 (the Cow), verse 120 There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. The initiatives, proposals and International Conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility. The Palestinian people are too noble to have their future, their right and their destiny submitted to a vain game. As the hadith has it: “The people of Syria are Allah’s whip on this land; He takes revenge by their intermediary from whoever he wished among his worshipers. The Hypocrites among them are forbidden from vanquishing the true believers, and they will die in anxiety and sorrow.” (Told by Tabarani, who is traceable in ascending order of traditionaries to Muhammad, and by Ahmed whose chain of transmission is incomplete. But it is bound to be a true hadith, for both story tellers are reliable. Allah knows best.)

Again they show their true side and take the most peaceful path to understanding and enlightenment.

Just yesterday President Bush said in a speech to the Knesset:

"Some people suggest that if the United States would just break ties with Israel, all our problems in the Middle East would go away," Bush said in his prepared address. "This is a tired argument that buys into the propaganda of our enemies, and America rejects it utterly. Israel's population may be just over 7 million. But when you confront terror and evil, you are 307 million strong, because America stands with you."

And in confronting Iran he added:

"Permitting the world's leading sponsor of terror to possess the world's deadliest weapon would be an unforgivable betrayal of future generations," the president said. "For the sake of peace, the world must not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon."

"Israel will be celebrating its 120th anniversary as one of the world's great democracies, a secure and flourishing homeland for the Jewish people," Bush said. "The Palestinian people will have the homeland they have long dreamed of and deserved a democratic state that is governed by law, respects human rights, and rejects terror.

"From Cairo and Riyadh to Baghdad and Beirut, people will live in free and independent societies, where a desire for peace is reinforced by ties of diplomacy, tourism, and trade. Iran and Syria will be peaceful nations, where today's oppression is a distant memory and people are free to speak their minds and develop their talents. And al-Qaida, Hizbullah, and Hamas will be defeated, as Muslims across the region recognize the emptiness of the terrorists' vision and the injustice of their cause."

A bold look towards the future. A sentiment shared by John McCain and Hillary Clinton. But our dear friend Barack Hussein Obama isn't on the same page. He wishes to talk to Hamas. Reason with them. But what do you expect from a man who attended a church that praised Hamas to the rafters and spouted anti-Semitism from the pulpit? Now he needs the Jewish vote. So he screams the praises of Israel while planning its invasion to take place if he becomes President. He cries foul when President Bush condemns the belief that you can negotiate with terrorists:

Democrat Barack Obama accused President George W. Bush on Thursday of launching a "false political attack" with a comment about appeasing dictators. The Democratic presidential candidate interpreted the remark as a slam against him but the White House denied that the comment was in any way directed at Obama.

In 1933 Hitler said that he would destroy the Jews of Europe, nobody believed him and 6 million Jews were murdered. Today Hamas says it will destroy all the Jews of Israel and the world. We Jews believe him.

What more does the Israeli government need to convince them that Hamas will never live with Israel in peace? How many attacks will it take? The time for talk is over. The time for action has begun. It is time that Israel do a woman's job, and take out the trash. It is time that Hamas, and the Muslim world in general understand that to attack Israel means death. It is time to make Palestinian mothers and fathers cry over their dead children, not Israeli parents. The time is ripe for a total destruction of Hamas and its terror network. Israeli patience has ended, Israeli justice should now begin! Let our battle cry be:

DEATH TO HAMAS! DEATH TO JIHAD!
DEATH TO ALL WHO WISH TO DESTROY US!!
