Another Animal Agent Caught

Once more the Muslim world has outsmarted Israel's Mossad.  Once more the Muslim world has caught another Mossad Animal Agent (MAA).  This time it is Eric the Eagle!
Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar TV has published images of an eagle, allegedly armed with spy equipment inscribed with the word "ISRAEL."

According to the report, the alleged spy-eagle was captured in the Lebanese town of Achkout by amateur hunters and had transmission equipment tied to its leg which indicated a connection to the Tel Aviv University.

The Nature and Parks Authority said that the eagle was born in a breeding and reacclimation center in southern Israel, and was released into the wild some two years ago.

According to the Al-Manar TV report, the eagle had an external transmitter attached to its body and another internal transmitter planted into its body. According to the Lebanese station, recruiting spies from the animal kingdom is a well-known Israeli practice. According to report, wiretapped fowl have in recent years been found in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt. Ynet has reported similar claims from Iran, in which 14 squirrels were arrested for spying, and Sudan.

Last September, the British Daily Mail reported that a white stork called Menes was caught in Qena, Egypt and held by authorities on suspicion of being used to spy for Israel, due to the tracking device attached to its leg.

At Ynet's request, the Nature and Parks Authority examined the number inscribed into the bird's tag. According to them, the captured raptor is a Bonelli's Eagle, one of Israel's rarest and endangered birds of prey.

According to Ohad Hatzofe, the authority's chief avian ecologist, the bird hatched in the Carmel Hai-Bar Nature Reserve during the spring of 2011 and was released from captivity into December of the same year.

"The specimen is carrying a tiny radio transmitter, and in the picture you can see its feathers have already begun to change, and it is possible he will start mating in 2014 the spring when he reaches sexually maturity."

Tagging birds is a common practice in ornithology as it helps scientists track bird migration routes.

Last June, Turkish authorities claimed to have "cleared a renegade bird captured in the Ağın district of the eastern province of Elazığ on suspicions of working for Israel's state-of-the-art intelligence agency," the Hurriyet newspaper reported.

According to the report by the Turkish newspaper, residents of Altınavya village became suspicious that the little kestrel could be more than a bird that lost its way when they found it wore a metallic ring stamped with the words "24311 Tel Avivunia Israel," and delivered it to the district governorate.

And We Are Suppose To Be Scared Of These People?

I thought the Iranians were stupid when they caught and executed 14 squirrels for spying.  Then the Egyptians declared that the Mossad trained a shark to kill tourists off of the Sinai.  Poor Sammy, he gets bad publicity for that one.

Then there was Moshe the Monkey who disrupted the services at a mosque in Yemen.  It is rumored that agents George the Giraffe and the boss Hymie the Hippo heads Mossad HQ at the Cairo Zoo.   And Vinnie the Vulture was killed in the line of duty over Saudi Arabia.  Vinnie was not alone.  He had a family and today a member of that family was caught in the Sudan.
Three Days of the Condor, Sudan style: Sudanese media was a buzz Thursday, with news saying that Darfur authorities had captured a vulture carrying Israeli spy gear.

The suspect bird was found to be tagged with an Israeli GPS chip and a leg band labeled "Israel Nature Service" and "Hebrew University, Jerusalem."

Khartoum's media claimed that the device was capable of taking photos and sending them back to Israel; but Israel's National Parks Service dismissed the allegation, saying that both the band and the GPS chip were nothing more than standard migration trackers.

Tensions between Israel and Sudan have been high since a mysterious airstrike leveled a major weapons manufacturing compound in Khartoum in October. Sudan blamed Israel for the raid. Jerusalem has remained mum on the subject.

The Opposition in Sudan was quick to mock the "spy bird" find: The country's Justice and Equality Movement featured the news on its website, asking: "How is it possible that the regime was able to detect one vulture, but was unable to detect the jets that bombed the arms facility?"

The website further ridiculed the authorities' report of the case, which lauded it as an "unprecedented achievement," saying that all state reports about the bird's seizure failed to mention whether the vulture was captured because the military's radar picked up on its GPS signal, or whether the bird just happened to be flying by.

Ohad Hazofe, an ecologist with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, confirmed that the bird was carrying Israeli tags, but said the vulture came to Israel from the Balkans, from which it migrates every year.

Wild birds that visit Israel as part of their migration paths are often tagged with various bands and sometimes GPS chips, to assist ornithologists in their studies. The bird in question can fly a distance of 600km a day, Hazofe explained. "This is a young vulture that was tagged, along with 100 others, in October. He has two wing bands and a German-made GPS chip."

The device, he stressed, has no photography capabilities. "This equipment that can give out distance and altitude readings only. That's the only way we knew something had happened to the bird – all of a sudden it stopped flying and started traveling on the ground."

The name of the agent is being withheld until the family can be notified.

I definitely believe that once a person becomes a Muslim they lose all ability to think rationally.  This is true all over the Muslim world and in the West as well.

We at Monkey in the Middle salute this latest Mossad Animal!  Just don't tell the Muslims about the flies that they Mossad has trained.
