THE FINAL POLITICAL EMAIL

Hat Tip to Mary (You know who you are.)

First of all, to my children and grandchildren and generations of my progeny not yet born…I sincerely apologize. I’m politically poor from all the donations I made to conservative organizations and candidates. All my efforts fell short. I’m sorry I couldn’t do more.

Next…too all who voted for Barack Hussein Obama. It’s often said there are two great disappointments in life…(1) Not getting what you want and (2) Getting what you THOUGHT you wanted.

YOU have successfully destroyed this nation. It should now be renamed the USSA…”United Socialist States of America ”. This is NOT an exaggeration. Let me explain.

During the first four years of his administration “BO” nationalized the housing industry, the automobile industry, and the medical industry…all “socialized”. Expect in the second term, nationalism of the airline industry, the oil and gas industry, and the power industry (electrical power from fossil and nuclear fuel sources). Expect much more borrowed and tax money to be given to unproductive and unsuccessful “green” industries.

Many women selfishly voted for “BO”…their votes driven exclusively by their reproductive ability…government-funded abortion on demand…early term…late term…it will make no difference. Contraception will be government provided but, sadly, rarely used. Now the women are guaranteed two “freedoms of choice”…the freedom to avoid pregnancy and secondly, the freedom to terminate it once they ignore the first choice.

Some form of amnesty will not only grant legitimacy to illegal aliens, it will also assure huge payments for housing, subsistence, medical care, and free secondary education at the public expense. That’s the only way the illegals can be enslaved to vote for liberalism…which they will be allowed to do.

Expect significantly more relaxed drug laws and far less severe punishments for drug use. Then, expect a huge expenditure on government drug treatment centers and increasing costs to feed and house the rapidly growing numbers of non-productive users.

Expect the progressive elimination of G-D from visibility. The concept of separation of church and state will be taken by legislation to unlawful levels so the public will eventually (perhaps not in this administration but in future ones) be unable to have any public display of religion on their lawns during the “winter holiday” (can’t call it Christmas anymore…someone might be offended).

Expect more and more accommodation of Islam with disregard to Christianity. It was very evident in the last four years…it will become more so in the next four years. Remember…we don’t want to offend anyone.

It’s possible for three Supreme Court justices to be replaced in the next four years. Expect a very liberal Supreme Court which powerfully legislates from the bench. The same will hold true for dozens (hundreds?) of lower court judges. They WILL vote in favor of the liberal ideal. Morality is not an issue.

The second amendment to the Constitution will, in some way, be significantly diluted. Perhaps with exorbitant taxes on ammunition? As a matter of fact, any time the Constitution is a barrier to liberal idealism, it will either be ignored or diluted by some form of legislation, executive degree, or liberal judicial interpretation…somehow by-passed.

Be prepared for YOUR GOVERNMENT to allow, if not encourage, outside influence into your lives. The U.N. will begin to dictate to us and we will comply. You will be forced to fall in line with Europe . We will become “Europeanized”. It thrills other nationalities that we will be brought down to their standards. They’re giddy with excitement over “BO’s” re-election…as are Putin, Castro, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad…all of whom endorsed “BO”

When (it’s already happened as evidenced by the election) a high enough percentage of the population Is “ENSLAVED” to and by the government, they (all of us!) will have to vote to keep them (the “masters”) in power so they (the public) can continue to be cared for.

We are now enslaved by socialism. There is no turning back. It’s impossible to get a sufficient number of votes to displace the “masters”. Conversely, the “masters” cannot take back what they’ve already given without risk to their power. These issues are only the superficial tip of the iceberg. Other issues are also contributors.

Since we are now about SIXTEEN TRILLION in debt (FIVE trillion added in the last four years!), expect the total collapse of the economy of the U.S.S.A. Not just increasing the tax on the wealthy…but taking 100% of their total wealth would not begin to reduce the national debt. With the vast increase in government spending and nationalization of more business and industry, expenditures to keep the SLAVES (us!) in line will destroy us.

The question is no more fundamental than how long it will take for the total collapse of the American economy.

Obama voters…remember this missive. You got what you thought you wanted And again, to my kids and their kids…I’m so sorry. You have been dealt a losing hand by those who are selfish and willing to sacrifice this nation for their own immediate and personal interests.

Betting on Energy Flops Over Energy Successes

Chris Horner is reporting in the right circumstances, clean energy investors can make more money with a flop than with a success. Perhaps Tulsa's George Kaiser used this scheme when he sunk $337 Million into the failed Solyndra, and arranged for first access to liquidation funds in bankruptcy court, ahead of American taxpayers. Perhaps Obama understands this well, and perhaps the huge recent loans to fledgling energy companies (after Solyndra) will provide Obama donors with big tax write-offs, and Obama with funds to slay our nation.

Chris Horner

So it was with great amusement that I caught, on my flight back this weekend, some art imitating life in a spectacularly appropriate way. Accountant Leo Bloom revealed to producer Max Bialystock, “under the right circumstances, a producer could actually make more money with a flop than he can with a hit”. Voila! There you have, in a Broadway second, President Obama’s ‘clean energy’ agenda.
Government Electric – once a bastion of American genius now fallen to being no more than a government front company – and the rest of the ‘renewables’ Music Men (to note another apt vehicle) are the Bialystock and Bloom of policy. They seek to make their fortune by producing flops. But since their ‘markets’ are arranged by pals in government and not due to performance, it works. That’s the beauty of it.
Horner on Obama's investment - a "pledge" to "seal our bankruptcy:"
Obama’s wind and solar boondoggle so far includes – according to his own Council on Economic Advisors – $90 billion in ‘green energy’ stimulus spending for 190,000 inherently temporary jobs (think: census job, as each lasts only so long as the state support, meaning it is yet another state-created bubble). That is $450,000 per job. The pledge to create’ millions of such jobs at your expense is a vow to seal our bankruptcy.
Renewables are the most expensive way for all of its constantly shifting excuses, including a) to produce energy, b) to create jobs and c) to reduce emissions. And pouring money into centuries old technology as state-picked ‘winners’ delays rather than expedites tech development and advancement.
There is much more in Horner's article posted at BigGovernment, including information on Newt Gingrich's fondness for solar and wind.

Funny How These Things Happen.

Hat tip Israel Matzav

Golda Meir once said:
Let me tell you something that we Israelis have against Moses. He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil!
She was wrong!  It seems that Israel has plenty of oil.  In fact as much or even more oil than Saudi Arabia.  That makes Israel a major player in the game.
The World Energy Council has determined that about 30 miles southwest of Jerusalem, in the Shfela Basin, there are oil shale deposits with the potential to yield 250 billion barrels of oil. This represents the world’s third-largest quantity of oil shale behind the US and China. Oilprice.com notes that both those countries would consume almost all their own production, so Israel could conceivably become the world’s largest exporter of shale oil.

The map to the left is from the US Geological Survey. The red stars represent oil shale deposits, which as you can see are scattered across sovereign Israel and Jordan. None were detected in the West Bank or Gaza.

Saudi Arabia’s proven oil reserves are 260 billion barrels, so we would appear to be in the running as an energy giant — particularly in view of the enormous natural gas finds at the Tamar and Leviathan fields. But there’s quite a distance yet to travel. For one thing, extracting oil from shale isn’t the same as drilling it out of the ground. It’s more difficult and more expensive.

Some serious minds are on the case, though. The Wall Street Journal reported two months ago that Harold Vinegar, perhaps the leading authority on the extraction of oil from shale, is heading up a start-up in Jerusalem called Israel Energy Initiatives (IEI). Larry Solomon, global warming skeptic and executive director of Canadian environmental agency Energy Probe, told Sun News this week that Vinegar’s team is backed by several powerful and motivated figures, including Dick Cheney, Baron Rothschild, and Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch holds a 0.5% stake in Genie Energy, IEI’s U.S.-based parent company.

Both the Journal and Sun News point out that while oil shale extraction was once uneconomical, two factors have altered that picture: the oil price has gone way up, and the Israeli team has figured out a way of extracting the oil for about $35-40 a barrel.

According to Vinegar, Israel has several other advantages besides its proprietary extraction technique. In Colorado, for instance, there is an aquifer that runs right through the shale. In Israel, the aquifer is hundreds of feet below it. Also, the Israeli deposits are believed to be extremely rich, with the potential to yield 23-25 gallons of oil per ton.

Still, it will take years of planning and billions of dollars before any of this comes to fruition. IEI is still awaiting its first permit, and as an Israeli citizen who waited three years for a permit to build a little house, my sympathies go out to IEI’s investors. But in view of the recent disruption of our natural gas imports from Egypt and the cutoff of our Russian oil imports when we were at war with Hezbollah in 2006, there is some urgency to our achievement of energy independence. And once the technology is up and running, it’s entirely conceivable that we’ll become a significant net energy exporter.

Look at the map on the left.  You see the oil is in Israel but not in Judea, Samaria or Gaza.  Just within the 67 borders.  Ironic isn't it.  In fact without the Jews being in Judea, Samaria there wouldn't be any real agriculture.  Just look at Gaza.  The Jews left in 2005 and the Arabs destroyed the Greenhouses (twice) that would have made them a major exporter of produce (The way the Israelis were before 2005.).

Before 2005:

After the Arabs took over:

A big difference.

So now we can expect for Barack Hussein Obama to demand that all Jews leave Israel proper and live only in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.  That way the Arabs can keep their monopoly of oil.

This Flip-Flop gets a 7.5.

Each day Barack Hussein Obama flip-flops on another issue. This time it is energy. We have an energy crises in the US. Not enough domestic oil. And up until yesterday Obama's solution was alternative energies and tire pressure.

When I wrote to Senator Obama on this issue (he is my senator) I received this response:
We should continue to look for new sources of domestic fuel production - - but not unless the pursuit of alternative fuels and energy efficiency is conducted at far greater levels than has been done in the past.
A big change from what he originally stated back in June when he opposed any and all drilling off shore or in ANWAR for new sources of oil.

Yesterday Obama dropped this bombshell:

Barack Obama on Monday called for tapping into strategic oil reserves as part of his plan to provide relief from high gas prices.

Obama has previously said he was opposed to using the strategic reserves, but on Monday he proposed selling 70 million barrels of oil from the reserves in order to lower gas prices.

Obama unveiled his energy plan, which includes a windfall profits tax on big oil corporations that would be used to provide a $1,000 rebate to people struggling with high energy costs.

"You won't hear me say this too often, but I couldn't agree more with the explanation that Sen. McCain offered a few weeks ago. He said, 'Our dangerous dependence on foreign oil has been 30 years in the making, and was caused by the failure of politicians in Washington to think long term about the future of the country,' " Obama said.

The Democratic presidential candidate said he wants to eliminate the need for oil from the Middle East and Venezuela within 10 years.

Obama has spoken against offshore drilling, but last week he said he would be willing to compromise if it were part of a more overarching strategy to lower energy costs.

Barack Obama is a dreamer. He is planning a 10-year solution. It will take 20 years to research, invest and develop any new energy source, let alone build an infrastructure that would make it a reality. So what does the US do in the mean time? It waits and watches as gas goes to $10 a gallon, $15 a gallon, $20 a gallon.

And what is Obama's temporary solution? Make sure your car is running smoothly with a tune-up and properly inflate your tires. Part of it is just common sense. If your car is in tune and your tires are properly inflated, you will have better gas mileage. But it will not solve our energy crises as it now stands. The idea reminds me of President Ford's Whip Inflation Now buttons of the 1970's. Both are bad ideas, but at least President Ford's didn't cost the average American a small fortune every time they fill up their car.

China down to 12 days worth of coal

CHINA only has enough coal for 12 days of consumption, three days less than a month ago, state media reported Wednesday, sounding the alarm bells over the nation's most important source of energy.

In the period since early March, coal reserves have slumped by 12 per cent to 46.7 million tonnes, according to the commission.

Finally something the United States has plenty of that the Chinese will want. Let us jack up the price to about 10 times, then cut off the supply when the Chinese won't behave themselves.

Experts estimate that the United States has about 265 billion tons of coal reserves. If we continue to use coal at the same rate as we do today, we will have enough coal to last 285 years. This vast amount of coal makes the United States the world leader in known coal reserves.

Poor China. You were on the verge of becoming a bully to the US, but you showed your hand too soon. You had nothing and we are holding a Royal Flush!

Sorry but there are times I do have to gloat. This is one of them. For the past 10 years China has been threatening to destroy the US Economy. Now we are in the position to destroy theirs. Karma is a Bitch!
