Wednesday's Hero

Sir Nicholas George Winton
104 years old from Hampstead, London

Wednesday Hero was started to honor the men and women of the United States military, but this week we're doing something a little different. Sir Nicholas George Winton is a British humanitarian who will turn 105 this May. On the eve of WWII, Winston was instrumental in the rescue of 669 children, mostly Jewish, from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia. Sadly, many of the children he saved lost their parents in concentration camps.

These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives just so others may get to enjoy freedom. For that I am proud to call them Hero.

Beavers Once Again Seen In Great Britain!

It has been 500 years since wild Beavers have been seen in any part of Great Britain.  But a family of Beavers have been seen in the River Otter in Devon.

A family of wild beavers has been seen in the England countryside in what is believed to be the first sighting of its kind in up to 500 years.

Three European beavers (Castor fiber), believed to be adults, have been filmed together on the River Otter in east Devon and can be seen gnawing at the base of trees, grooming themselves and playing together.

Experts said the sighting was "highly significant" as it strongly suggested a small breeding population of beavers now existed outside captivity.

European beavers were once widespread in the UK but were hunted to extinction by the 16th century in England and Wales for their fur, medicinal value and meat.

There have been successful reintroduction schemes in other parts of the UK. In 2009, three beaver families were released into forest lochs near the Sound of Jura in Argyll, while plans to release the species into the wild in Wales have also moved a step closer. The sighting in Devon would be the first time in centuries that European beavers have bred in the wild in England.

The footage was captured by local retired environmental scientist Tom Buckley, who noticed some trees had been felled in the area in late last year. Together with landowner David Lawrence, he installed three motion sensor cameras along a 400-500m stretch of the river. A lone beaver was spotted on the farm in January and last July a woman claimed she saw a beaver on the river.

"We'd seen bits of trees chewed and cut down and I was starting to think that it was a sign of beavers even though I couldn't believe it," Buckley said.

Beaver expert Derek Gow confirmed that one of the animals filmed by Buckley was a juvenile and the family may have been in the wild for years. Buckley does not know where they have come from or exactly where their home is.

"When I first saw that first beaver it was such a shock. When I saw three it was slightly different – we knew there was one around and we were tracking its activities. When we watched film and all of a sudden another appeared, and then another – I would not just say that was amazing – one was speechless realizing what was happening. We had no idea there was more than one, and they are all quite large and active as well."

Devon Wildlife Trust has been running its own Beaver Project since 2011, when an adult male and female were introduced to a securely fenced compound in the north-west of the county.

But the beavers remain in their compound and are not the source of the population now seen on the River Otter.

Steve Hussey from the Devon Wildlife Trust said he supported the reintroduction of beavers to England but that it had to be "properly planned".

"In principle, we would like to see the European beaver reintroduced to England but recognize that a great deal of work needs to be done before this can happen."

He said the beavers should be left alone and observed using a rigorous monitoring programme.

"This group of beavers provides us with a unique opportunity to learn lessons about their behavior and their impact on the local landscape … [the group] could contribute to this process if they are subjected to thorough scientific study.

Beavers are a "keystone species", meaning they provide more important ecosystem services than their numbers alone would suggest. Known as "ecological engineers", their dams, burrows and ditches and the branches they drag into the water create habitats for a host of other species. Their dams slow rivers down, reducing scouring and erosion, and improving water quality by holding back silt.

During the recent wet weather and flooding crisis, naturalists called for the reintroduction of beavers to control floods.

Otter tracks and spraint was found alongside the beaver prints, indicating they may have been interacting with wild otters too.

Hussey added: "There's evidence that otters, beavers are coming together here face to face perhaps for the first time in two or 300 years."

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is investigating the sighting as it is against the law to release beavers in England. A spokeswoman said the department would "look into this case and will consider what action to take".

She said she could not comment on whether the beavers could be removed from the site or destroyed.

Buckley said: "This beaver family has been around for at least a couple of years and no one seems to have noticed them. They haven't caused any trouble for anybody and it's only because they've been caught on camera that people know they are here. To think about destroying them is totally out of order. This is an insight into what the potential impact is if they are already in a place and at the moment that impact would seem to be zero."

Guns Of August 2013

In July 1914 the Great Powers of Europe ((Italy, France, Germany, the British Empire, the Austria-Hungarian Empire and Russia) failed to come to a diplomatic solution to the growing nationalism, the colonialism that the Great Powers forced upon the Third World, the growing call for war that was filling the continent of Europe.  Then the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife Sophie by Gavrilo Princip, a Serbian national member of the Serbian nationalist organization, the Black Hand, in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was the final straw that broke the proverbial camel's back for the Great Powers and the Guns of August fired.

Now in this last week of August we are beginning to hear the Guns of August rolling again.  A different part of the World, (The Middle East not Europe.) and different players (Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, Russia, Israel, United States, Great Britain.).  Diplomacy has failed, Assad of Syria will not listen to the world.  And the Assad regime attacked his own civilian population with Sarin gas.  But the outcome of their actions just might ignite the world into a global war.

Ahead of the US strike on Syria, the Israeli security cabinet in special session Wednesday, Aug. 28, ordered the partial mobilization of select, qualitative IDF reserve forces: Rocket, Air Force, missile interception, Home Defense command and intelligence units. Anti-missile Arrow, Patriot and Iron Dome systems were spread out more widely than ever before across the country. US and Syria wound up last military preparations for the US strike. Barring last-minute hold-ups, debkafile’s military sources report the American operation is scheduled to start Friday night, early Saturday Aug. 30-31.(Confirmed)

In the past 24 hours, the US Air Force finished a major buildup at the big US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. B-1B bombers and F-22 Raptor stealth fighter jets were brought over from other US Mid East air facilities on the Omani island of Masirah and Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

These squadrons were not assigned to the US military strike against Syria, say our military sources, but will stand ready to move in should unforeseen complications in the course of the US missile assault on Syria call for the introduction of extra assets from outside.

Israeli officials and spokesmen continued to insist Wednesday on low expectations of a Syrian counter-offensive against their country. Nevertheless, the new US air force reinforcements in Qatar will stand ready to rush to the aid of US allies - Israel, Jordan and Turkey - in the event of their coming under Syrian Scud attack.

On the opposite side, the Syrian army Tuesday started scattering personnel, weapons and air assets to safe places to reduce their exposure to damage and losses from US assaults.

Our military sources report that personnel, tanks and artillery of the Syrian Army’s 4th and Republican Guard Divisions, which are held responsible for the Aug. 21 chemical attack on civilians, were being moved into fortified shelters built last year against potential foreign military intervention.(Confirmed)

Syrian army command centers in Homs, Hama, Latakia and the Aleppo region were also being split up and dispersed, after a tip-off to Syrian and Russian intelligence that they would be targeted by the US strike. Syria has also transferred its Air Force fighter planes, bombers and attack helicopters to fortified shelters which are armored against missile and air attack.

In Israel, the IDF Wednesday installed two Iron Dome missile interceptors in the northern “Valleys” region and Safed in addition to Haifa. Another Iron Dome battery was posted in the heavily populated central district. Arrow, Patriot anti-missile missiles, as well as Iron Domes, have been deployed more widely across Israel than ever before. debkafile’s military sources report that Israel’s Arrow and Patriot interceptors are linked to the US missile shield with which their operation is synchronized.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that Israel was ready for any scenario. Although it takes no part in the Syrian civil war crisis, Israel would not hesitate to fight back for any attempted attacks – and would do so forcefully.

Wednesday morning, the machinery for distributing gas masks to the population broke down under the pressure of demands to distribution centers across the country. The Homeland Ministry’s website crashed. Former Interior Minister Ellie Yishay complained of a shortage of protective masks due to budget cuts. He said there are only enough to supply 40 percent of the population.

Will someone please tell me why are we getting involved in a civil war?  Have we not learned from past experience (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan) that we cannot defeat a military using conventional military tactics and Obama's idea of rules of engagement.  Rules written to give the enemy every advantage.

All I can see if we attack Syria is that we support al-Queda and enter into a war we cannot extract ourselves from for years.  A war that will cost the US thousands of lives and billions of dollars.

Muslims Must Reject Jihad

Enough Is Enough

When I heard of the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby of 2nd Battalion I was infuriated.  In broad daylight, on a street in Woolwich, a pair of Muslim murderers hacked this man to death.  The crowd did nothing but film it.  The police took 20 minutes to arrive at the scene.  A a few brave women stood over Rigby's body in defiance towards the murderers.

And yet David Cameron blamed the victim, and exonerated Islam from this act.  Just like the perfect Dhimmi he is.

But the people of Great Britain are fed up.  They are outraged at not only this act, but at the whole idea of Multiculturalism.  They want answers and not platitudes.

The most recent round of terror in London has spawned a renewed round of explanations along the lines of David Cameron’s “there is no justification for this murder in Islam,” accompanied by musings over “isolated act of psychopaths."

Though these views have lost some currency after the attacks of 9/11, Madrid, Moscow, Burgas, Toulouse and Boston, it is time to ask ourselves why our political and intellectual elites still pay homage to such platitudes. Political and diplomatic expediency aside, the origin of such statements lies in the fact that Western academics, diplomats and journalists tend to cavort with highly-educated Muslims whose worldview has been influenced by thorough exposure to the Judeo-Christian heritage of the West.

Yet this is not a piece about the shallow knowledge of our elites about the Muslim world, nor one about the distinction between elite Islam and the pugnacious one popularized by Salafi or Muslim Brotherhood preachers. This is an article about the fine line Westerners need to draw between demonstrating goodwill on the one hand and forfeiting freedoms they have struggled centuries to secure.

Muslims have the right to practice Islam the way they wish in Saudi Arabia and Sudan. Westerners have the right and the duty to expect that those who move to their countries respect basic ethical tenets, one of them being that to kill in the name of God is always immoral; and regardless of whether Christians and Jews adhered to this principle centuries or millennia ago.

To this day Islamic bookstores in cities such as London and Paris sell children’s books where the first Muslims are celebrated as sword-brandishing knights vanquishing enemies in glorious battles. Does it take a PhD in psychology to guess that boys fed on such narratives will wish to do likewise when they grow up? When such literature is the staple religious diet of millions of young Muslims is it genuinely surprising that jihadists are recruited without difficulty even from well-integrated families?

No one would tolerate Christian children books that portrayed the Crusaders as exemplary Christians, yet to this day the highest honors in Islamic literature are reserved to Muslim “crusaders.” Most Muslims are sincerely appalled by the attacks in Toulouse and London, but it is no longer enough to draw subtle distinctions between legitimate and illegitimate jihad. As long as it is admirable for most Muslims that Islam conquered the world through the sword in the seventh and eight centuries, there will be more than enough Muslims in our days who welcome the murder of infidels in Madrid and London. And as long as Western Illuminati tolerate the apologetic attitude Muslim leaders adopt towards the murder of Jews in Palestine, it will be impossible to draw an unambiguous line elsewhere between acceptable and unacceptable rhetoric and behavior.

In fact, we must demand from all Muslim lay and religious representatives to publicly abjure all violence in the name of God, without ifs and buts, and regardless of whether religious sentiments are slighted in the process of doing so. Those for whom this demand is too taxing can emigrate to Saudi Arabia or Gaza and stay there.

It is worth remembering that the price of not demanding such a stance from Muslim clerics and lay leaders will be paid most dearly by Muslims themselves. Although this fact is often overlooked, we ought to remember that those who have suffered most from jihadist incitement and violence have been Muslims. Not only does the silent majority of Muslims bear the brunt of the jihadist bloodshed, but its reputation is soiled by those who wish to import seventh century practices into the 21st century. And Western leaders who in this clash choose caution over courage are no less to blame for harming the prospects of long-term peaceful coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims.

It is not just the politicians of the world but the media complicit in this deception too.  In Great Britain (and other European nations) it is practically illegal to call a Muslim criminal a Muslim.  They are called "Asian".  In Sweden for now 5 nights Muslims have been rioting to force the government to accede to their demands.  A tactic that Muslims learn in the 1920's and 30's when they rioted in Palestine (Israel) to force the British to help murder Jews in Europe.  They can be assured that the Swedish government will not only accede to their demands, but exceed them.

All over Europe groups like the EDL, Légion étrangèr, and other anti-Muslim groups have arisen in Europe.  Is it any wonder that neo-Nazi groups are rising faster than thought they could?  The native Brit, Frenchman, Swede, Greek, etc... see himself as being pushed aside by their governments, their press, their courts in favor of the immigrant newcomer.  They see their customs, laws, and morals being tossed out by the newcomer in favor of their barbaric customs.  And they see themselves as being disarmed by Socialist elites who are rich enough to have armed bodyguards while they and their children are defenseless.  They see their daughters raped by the unwashed Islamic barbarians and judges who dismiss the criminals as they explain that rape is permitted in their religion.

It is only a matter of time before the native peoples of Europe rise up and take back that which the Socialist elites have stolen from them.  Remove the barbarian in their midst and return their native countries to their culture and morals.

Perhaps it is time for the people of Britain to paint their faces blue and once again show the World why the Romans feared them.

Farewell Dame Thatcher

She transformed Great Britain from a socialist nation to one of freedom and commerce.  Reviled by liberals, loved by conservatives but loved by her nation.  Margaret Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher of Kesteven, fundamentally transformed Great Britain.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, an outspoken woman known to many as "The Iron Lady," has died at 87 after suffering a stroke.

"It is with great sadness that Mark and Carol Thatcher announced that their mother Baroness Thatcher died peacefully following a stroke this morning,” Thatcher spokesperson Lord Bell said in a statement.

Thatcher led Britain's Conservatives to three election victories from 1979 to 1990, the longest continuous period in office by a British prime minister since the early 19th century. Alongside former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, Thatcher battled against communism and saw the Berlin Wall get torn down in 1989.

On Monday, British Prime Minister David Cameron cut short his trip to several European countries after the announcement of Thatcher's death.

"We have lost a great leader, a great prime minister and a great Briton,'' Cameron said in a statement.

Buckingham Palace said Queen Elizabeth II was sad to hear the news of Thatcher's passing, adding that she would be sending a private message of sympathy to the family today.

Downing Street said the Queen has authorized a ceremonial funeral — a step short of a state funeral — to be held at St. Paul's Cathedral.

It said the funeral will be attended by a "wide and diverse range of people," and the service will be followed by a private cremation. But it did not provide further details on the timing of the service, saying only that the arrangement are "in line with the wishes" of Thatcher's family.

During 11 bruising years as prime minister, Thatcher transformed her country by a ruthless dedication to free markets and infuriated European allies. She transferred large chunks of the economy from the state hands to private ownership.

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money," she once said, according to Reuters.

Thatcher retired from public engagements in 2002 following a series of small strokes, and was only occasionally seen in public since then.

To her fervent admirers, battling Maggie was an icon, a national savior who ended Britain's post-World War II cycle of confrontation and decline -- eclipsed as a 20th-century British leader only by Winston Churchill.

Her vehement critics, however, saw her as a bellicose figure at home and abroad, a destroyer of industries and, with it, a way of life.

She was a sharply divisive figure even within her Conservative Party, especially on the issue of European integration; the party declined into a bickering shambles after she fell from power.

Between 1979 and 1990, her governments crushed the once-mighty labor unions, defeated Argentina in the Falkland Islands war and preached military readiness to the Western alliance.

"We have raised Britain in the respect of the world from what it was -- broke, bankrupt, unwilling to defend itself properly," Thatcher declared in 1987. "We have, I think, transformed Britain."

Thatcher's years in power overlapped Reagan's two terms as president, and her support for the American leader and her agreement with his world view never wavered. It was a political union of opposites: Thatcher had none of Reagan's disarming charm, and he lacked her appetite for hard work and devotion to detail.

The grocer's daughter became Europe's first female prime minister in 1979, four years after the Conservative Party surprised itself by making her its leader. Typically, she jumped into the leadership race while more prominent male colleagues dithered, and then proved unstoppable.

Thatcher led the Tories to a landslide victory in 1979, followed by easy wins in 1983 and 1987.

She loved the jokes claiming she beat her all-male Cabinet ministers with her handbag, and reveled in being the "Iron Lady," a nickname coined by the Soviet press.

At home, she sold huge, loss-making state-owned companies, from Jaguar to national utilities to British Airways. Many became profitable.

For the employed majority of Britons, living standards rose dramatically, but the gap widened between the well-off and the poor.

The late Peter Jenkins, a leading liberal political commentator throughout the Thatcher years, once wrote that she had "changed the political map and put her country on its feet again."

"She did all this with ruthlessness and much injustice and at a high cost in human misery, but she did it," he said.

Margaret Hilda Roberts was born Oct. 13, 1925, in the central England town of Grantham, the younger daughter of Beatrice and Alfred Roberts, a strict Methodist and pillar of the local community. Throughout her life, she espoused his values of hard work and thrift.

She earned a science degree at Oxford University, working for a time as a research chemist before switching to law and becoming a barrister -- a lawyer who argues cases in court.

In 1951, she married Denis Thatcher, a wealthy businessman 11 years her senior. Their children, twins Mark and Carol, were born in 1953.

She called Denis, who died June 26, 2003, her rock and her great support. He paid for the nannies and private boarding schools which gave her the freedom to make a political career.

Thatcher was elected to Parliament in 1959, the youngest of 25 women in the House of Commons, representing Finchley in north London.

As education secretary in the 1970-74 government of Prime Minister Edward Heath, newspapers dubbed her "Thatcher Milk Snatcher" when she ended free milk for schoolchildren.

Her big chance came in 1975 when the Tories dumped Heath. Thus began what a biographer, the late Hugo Young, called "an era in which an ordinary politician, laboring under many disadvantages, grew into an international figure who did some extraordinary things to her country."

She marked her course clearly. "A man's right to work as he will, to spend what he earns, to own property, to have the state as servant and not as master, they are the essence of a free economy, and on that freedom all our other freedoms depend," she said in a speech in 1975.

Her ascension to prime minister came in May 1979 on a wave of popular disgust at high inflation, garbage-strewn streets and a series of public sector strikes under the Labour Party government of James Callaghan.

When her popularity was at a low ebb in 1982, Argentina invaded the Falklands Islands. Spurning negotiation, she dispatched warships to the remote south Atlantic archipelago.

"Rejoice! Rejoice!" she exclaimed after British Marines retook South Georgia island. The surge of national pride that followed Britain's victory carried her triumphantly through the 1983 national elections, a victory aided by a Labour Party torn apart by years of infighting.

Even detractors admired her courage.

After surviving an Irish Republican Army bomb that killed five people at the Conservatives' 1984 convention, Thatcher brushed off the dust of her shattered Brighton hotel suite and, hours later, made her keynote speech on cue.

She never faltered, in word or deed, in her support of the United States. In 1986, she allowed U.S. warplanes to fly from British bases to bomb Libya. She sent ships, tanks and troops to fight against Iraq in the first Gulf War, but had resigned before the battle was joined in 1991.

Thatcher was one of the first to spot Mikhail Gorbachev as a promising leader of the Soviet Union. "I like Mr. Gorbachev, we can do business together," she said after their first meeting in Britain in 1984.

Three months later, Gorbachev became the Soviet leader.

In her memoirs, Thatcher said of Gorbachev: "I spotted him because I was searching for someone like him. And I was confident that such a person could exist, even within that totalitarian structure, because I believed that the spirit of the individual could never ultimately be crushed in the Kremlin any more than in the Gulag."

Thatcher sat next to Gorbachev at Reagan's funeral, and in a taped eulogy spoke of the personal dynamics of the era of "perestroika."

"I cannot imagine how any diplomat, or any dramatist, could improve on (Reagan's) words to Mikhail Gorbachev at the Geneva summit: `Let me tell you why it is we distrust you.' Those words are candid and tough and they cannot have been easy to hear. But they are also a clear invitation to a new beginning and a new relationship that would be rooted in trust," she said.

Though Thatcher's Conservatives won re-election in 1987, the fall of the Iron Curtain deprived her of a key role as the scourge of communism, and she could appear out of touch with the times. She opposed the unification of Germany in tones that suggested the Nazi era was not forgiven, and her opposition to the growing influence of the European Union became more strident and nationalistic.

Thatcher had often seemed at odds with her own government's policy of developing European integration, and the issue became her downfall in 1990 when Conservative legislators were feeling a panic over the government's low opinion poll ratings.

In November of that year, she fell short of winning re-election as Tory leader on the first ballot of Conservative legislators. "I fight on. I fight to win," she said. But, persuaded that the party had abandoned her, she resigned.

"The people who brought about that incident are responsible for the biggest defeat the Conservative Party has ever had," she said after Tony Blair's Labour Party ended 18 years of Tory rule in 1997. "It was catastrophic for me because I got things right."

Blair's "New Labour" government, ironically, became part of her formidable legacy. The once-socialist Labourites moved to the center with echoes of Thatcherism -- from preserving Britain's nuclear deterrent to telling single mothers on welfare to find work.

Out of power, Lady Thatcher, named a baroness in 1992, made regular and lucrative U.S. lecture tours, and founded the Thatcher Foundation to spread her free-market philosophy.

Europe remained an obsession. In her book, "Statecraft," published in 2002, she described the European Union as "perhaps the greatest folly of the modern era" and wrote that most of the 20th century's greatest problems -- including Nazism and Marxism -- originated on the continent.

Thatcher hardly ever admitted any regrets, but in a 1998 interview with the British magazine Saga she said she rarely saw her children or grandchildren.

"It's very sad," she said. "It's something that I thought would never happen."

First They Came For The Guns...

And took them out of their hands in Great Britain.  They promised the population that they would be safe, that crime would reduce to almost nothing.  It didn't happen.  In fact, crime increased.  Crime with knives increased.  So now they will ban the knife.

The good news is that if we ever do get that assault rifle ban, followed by a handgun ban, followed by a ban of anything that can shoot bullets, the “Banners” will still have a banner year of banning all the other ways with which people kill other people.

Violent crimes haven’t gone away with the UK’s gun control. They’ve actually gone up.

Britons suffer 1,158,957 violent crimes per year, which works out at 2,034 per 100,000 residents. The U.S., meanwhile, has a rate of 466 crimes per 100,000 residents, which is lower than France’s, at 504.

Instead of gun crime, the UK worries about knife crime. And has been practicing knife control.

The UK outlawed the switchblade and gravity knife in 1959.

In 1988 possession of a pocket knife with a blade larger than 3 inches in public became illegal.

In 1996, it became illegal to sell a razor blade to anyone under the age of 16.

In 2007, you needed a license to be able to sell “non-domestic knives.”

Despite all that knifepoint robberies rose by 10 percent this year and there are some 60,000 stabbings each year. So the push is on to outlaw long kitchen knives. Once that’s done, surely utopia will be at hand.

A team from West Middlesex University Hospital said violent crime is on the increase – and kitchen knives are used in as many as half of all stabbings.

They argued many assaults are committed impulsively, prompted by alcohol and drugs, and a kitchen knife often makes an all too available weapon.

They consulted 10 top chefs from around the UK, and found such knives have little practical value in the kitchen.

None of the chefs felt such knives were essential, since the point of a short blade was just as useful when a sharp end was needed.

The researchers say legislation to ban the sale of long pointed knives would be a key step in the fight against violent crime.

“We suggest that banning the sale of long pointed knives is a sensible and practical measure that would have this effect.”

Certainly no law-abiding person needs a long blade kitchen knife. No one is talking about outlawing all kitchen knives. Just the ones with long blades. No reason for anyone to go beyond a paring knife anyway.

The chefs say so and what does Julia Child know anyway.

What happens if you are a young girl and you need to shave your armpits? Or a boy age 15 and that peach fuzz is growing dark

I suppose the 10 top chefs they asked were vegans.  I need a long, sharp blade to filet fish.  Need a long, thick blade to butcher a kill.  Heck try to carve a roast or a turkey with a steak knife.  I need a very sharp long knife (and sharp fork) to do that too.

You cannot legislate safety for every situation.  You can kill with a steak knife, razor, heck a very sharp Swiss Army Knife.  Unless you have a cop following each and every person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, you will never prevent murders.

I suggest every person who cooks, who carves, who loves their freedom to rise up and strike a blow for freedom and kill this stupidity before it gains any grounds with the ruling Elites.

Are These The Last Days Of Great Britain?

For centuries the nation of Great Britain prided itself on being a "Christian Nation".  A nation who has followed the Christian Faith since 600 AD.  The nation went through Reformation, Reversion back to Catholicism, Revolution, Restoration, but the Christian faith remained with the people.  Even today the majority of people profess to be Christian.  Yet under the government, Islam has more rights, more power than any other group.  Attacks on Jews have increased.  Attacks on Christians have risen.  Defamation of Islam is criminalized.  One cannot speak out against Muhammad (MHBIH), Allah, Islam, The Koran, etc... you will jailed.  Oh no?  Read this:

Paul Weston Arrested Outside Wormwood Scrubs

I have just received an urgent telephone call from British Freedom leader Paul Weston who has been arrested outside Wormwood Scrubs Prison*.

Speaking from the back of a police van being driven to an unknown destination, Paul hurriedly informed me that he and a friend had travelled to the prison in West London this evening with the aim of visiting Tommy Robinson, or at least assuring themselves of his well-being.

Speaking through a glass panel they had asked officers at the prison to confirm that Tommy was being held there, but they refused to provide this information, citing the ‘Data Protection Act’. Paul and his friend again demanded to know where Tommy was being held, and at that point both were charged with breach of the peace, arrested and bundled into the police van.

Our conversation was cut off with Paul loudly remonstrating to an unidentified individual, “take your hands off me!”

We will update you on the situation as it unfolds.

The English Defense League has never been violent at a rally. In fact they are extremely non-violent, but are the one arrested for inciting violence in Muslims Asians.  I suppose that Muslims Asians are not able to control themselves.  They are too immature, too childish and must be allowed to express themselves with rocks and sticks.  That is Multiculturalism for you.  Infantile Muslims so you can cave in to every demand they have.  Why stop?  It is easier to do than to demand that Muslims obey the laws of the land.

There is a group that demand that Multiculturalism end.  They are the British Freedom Party and their 20 point plan.

1. Introduce a US style First Amendment guaranteeing Free Speech.
2. Leave the profoundly undemocratic European Union.
3. Abolish the Human Rights Act, which benefits only foreign criminals/ terrorists.
4. Halt any further immigration for a period of five years.
5. Deport foreign criminals, seditious dual nationality Islamists and illegal immigrants.
6. Abolish all multicultural and equality quangos.
7. Halt and turn back all aspects of the Islamisation of Britain, including Sharia finance.
8. Drastically reduce crime – criminals should fear the consequences of their behaviour.
9. Repair the damage wreaked by the progressive educational establishment.
10. Promote British values and assimilation, rather than multiculturalism and division.
11. Rebuild Britain’s Armed Forces to 1980 levels.
12. Diminish the public sector and government interference in the private sector.
13. Withdraw troops from all areas where we are not directly threatened.
14. Cancel foreign aid to countries which do not deserve or need it.
15. End welfare payments to immigrants; they must pay for their housing and children.
16. Ensure no elderly person lives in fear, and can afford both heat and food in the winter.
17. Abolish destructive Political Correctness, promote Common Sense.
18. Promote morality, marriage, the family, the community and the nation state.
19. Allow pubs the freedom of operating as smoking or non-smoking establishments.
20. Live by Christianity’s Golden Rule: “Do unto others as thou wouldst be done by.”

Outside of the United State there is no nation on Earth that has the guarantee of Free Speech.  It is up to the Government ts allow what speech it will permit.  This is unacceptable in any nation, but especially in nations that claim that they allow Free Speech.  Can any of us forget the trials and tribulations of Paul Ray aka Lionheart?

Tommy Robinson has been arrested on trumped up charges of entering the United States on a fraudulent passport.  A charge that is suppose to send him back to the United States and a long US prison term.  Until then the British have sentenced him to death by placing Mr. Robinson in the Muslim wing of the prison and given a Muslim cellmate.  Pray for his safety.

Our State Department is in collusion with the British government on this.  The expression of Free Speech is to be denied to NATIVE Brits.   But NATIVE Europeans are to be denied rights under Obama's and the left's New World Order.

How Political Correctness Is Transforming British Education

In Cheshire, two students at the Alsager High School were punished by their teacher for refusing to pray to Allah as part of their religious education class.

In Scotland, 30 non-Muslim children from the Parkview Primary School recently were required to visit the Bait ur Rehman Ahmadiyya mosque in the Yorkhill district of Glasgow (videos here and here). At the mosque, the children were instructed to recite the shahada, the Muslim declaration of faith which states: "There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger." Muslims are also demanding that Islamic preachers be sent to every school in Scotland to teach children about Islam, ostensibly in an effort to end negative attitudes about Muslims.

British schools are increasingly dropping the Jewish Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, according to a report entitled, Teaching Emotive and Controversial History, commissioned by the Department for Education and Skills.

British teachers are also reluctant to discuss the medieval Crusades, in which Christians fought Muslim armies for control of Jerusalem: lessons often contradict what is taught in local mosques.

In an effort to counter "Islamophobia" in British schools, teachers now are required to teach "key Muslim contributions such as Algebra and the number zero" in math and science courses, even though the concept of zero originated in India.

In the East London district of Tower Hamlets, four Muslims were recently jailed for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls; and 85 out of 90 schools have implemented "no pork" policies.

Schools across Britain are, in fact, increasingly banning pork from lunch menus to avoid offending Muslim students. Hundreds of schools have adopted a "no pork" policy, according to a recent report by the London-based Daily Telegraph.

The culinary restrictions join a long list of politically correct changes that gradually are bringing hundreds of British primary and secondary education into conformity with Islamic Sharia law.

The London Borough of Haringey, a heavily Muslim district in North London, is the latest school district to switch to a menu that is fully halal (religiously permissible for Muslims).

The Haringey Town Council recently issued "best practice" advice to all schools in its area to "ban all pork products in order to cater for the needs of staff and pupils who are not permitted contact with these for religious reasons."

Local politicians have criticized the new policy as pandering to Muslims, and local farmers, who have pointed out that all schools in Britain already offer vegetarian options, have accused school administrators of depriving non-Muslim children of a choice.

Following an outcry from non-Muslim parents, the town council removed the guidance from its website, although the new policy remains in place.

At the Cypress Junior School, in Croydon, south London, school administrators announced in the school newsletter dated June 1, 2012 that the school has opted for a pork-free menu "as a result of pupil and parental feedback."

The announcement states: "Whilst beef, chicken, turkey and fish will all feature, as well as the daily vegetarian and jacket potato or pasta option, the sausages served will now be chicken rather than pork."

In Luton, an industrial city some 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of London where more than 15% of the population is now Muslim, 23 out of 57 schools have banned pork.

In the City of Bradford, a borough of West Yorkshire in Northern England where there are now twice as many practicing Muslims that there are practicing Anglicans, 24 out of 160 schools have eliminated pork from their menus. In Newham (East London), 25 out of 75 schools have banned pork.

Other pork-free schools include Cranford Park Primary School in Hayes (Middlesex), and Dog Kennel Hill Primary in East Dulwich (South London).

The Borough of Harrow in northwest London was among the first in Britain to encourage halal menus. In 2010, Harrow Council announced plans to ban pork in the borough's 52 state primary schools, following a switch by ten secondary schools to offer halal-only menus.

According to the UK-based National Pig Association, which represents commercial pork producers, "It is disappointing that schools cannot be sufficiently organized to give children a choice of meat. Sausages and roast pork are staples of a British diet and children enjoy eating them. If products can be labeled with warnings that they contain nuts and vegetarian dishes can be made and kept separate from meat dishes, [we] don't see why the same can't apply to pork."

Lunch menus are not the only area in which "cultural sensitivity" is escalating in British schools.

In West Yorkshire, the Park Road Junior Infant and Nursery School in Batley has banned stories featuring pigs, including "The Three Little Pigs," in case they offend Muslim children.

In Nottingham, the Greenwood Primary School cancelled a Christmas nativity play; it interfered with the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. In Scarborough, the Yorkshire Coast College removed the words Christmas and Easter from their calendar not to offend Muslims.

Also in Cheshire, a 14-year-old Roman Catholic girl who attends Ellesmere Port Catholic High School was branded a truant by teachers for refusing to dress like a Muslim and visit a mosque.

In Stoke-on-Trent, schools have been ordered to rearrange exams, cancel swimming lessons and stop sex education during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. In Norwich, the Knowland Grove Community First School has axed the traditional Christmas play to "look at some of the other great cultural festivals of the world."

Meanwhile, the politically correct ban on pigs in Britain also extends to toys for children. A toy farm set called Happy Land Goosefeather Farm recently removed pigs in order to avoid offending Muslims.

The pig removal came to public attention after a British mother bought the toy as a present for her daughter's first birthday. Although the set contained a model of a cow, sheep, chicken, horse and dog, there was no pig, despite there being a sty and a button which generated an "oink" sound.

After the mother complained, the Early Learning Centre (ELC), which manufactures the toy, responded: "Previously the pig was part of the Goosefeather Farm. However due to customer feedback and religious reasons this is no longer part of the farm."

After a public outcry, however, ELC later reversed its decision: "We recognize that pigs are familiar farm animals, especially for our UK customers. We have taken the decision to reinstate the pig and to no longer sell the set in international markets where it might create an issue."

 Can this happen here in the US?  You bet it could.  And is starting to.  A North Carolina Teacher (Name is withheld by the school system.) verbally abused a student who challenged her view of politics.  CAIR has already challenged 295 school districts to promote Islam in Washington State.  Other states to follow.  Already  CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood have transformed US textbooks to show a favorable view of Islam and a negative view of every other faith.

Every time a school, a district, a Board of Education kowtows to the demands of CAIR, every other group, religious or atheist are discriminated against.  When given the opportunity to set up a Madrassa in NY City (Paid for by the US taxpayer [Where is the ACLU?].)  While it was open, it developed the reputation of being the worst performing school in the city and the most violent in the city.  So much for "The Religion of Peace".

I am not advocating that all Muslims in the United States demand these changes.  Actually most Muslims have immigrated to the US to get away from the insane laws called Shar'ia.  And so must we.  We must demand that NO religious law ever be enforced in this nation.  A simple idea.  That in our law, a full wall of separation be placed between local, state, and national laws and ANY religious law.  Once and for all time!

On September 11, 2011 most of the world mourned along with the United States the loss of 3,000 Americans murdered by Islamic Jihadists.  That is all but the Muslim nations, Venezuela, Cuba and Great Britain.

British police allowed about a hundred jihadists chanting offensive slogans to march through central London Sunday and burn a US flag during the memorial events for the 9/11 massacres ten years ago.

At the same time, a group organized by the nationalist English Defense League that gathered to lay wreaths at the U.S. Embassy in London was told to move away in order to avert a possible clash between the groups. Police used force against the EDL group.

The jihadis chanted "USA – terror state!", "Burn, burn, USA!" and "Muslims rise up!" as a US flag was burned. One of the protesters spoke into the megaphone and said: "We can tell you that you will never win the war because Islam is [unclear] in Europe and America, and we are winning the war ideologically, militarily, economically!"

Other speakers insisted that the West's war on terror is a war against Islam, and said that the Western soldiers who died fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq "died for nothing."

As he was being led away from the US embassy, a leader of the EDL wreath-laying event told policemen: "You have just facilitated the complete humiliation of our whole country."

I have to wonder if the British people know that their police not only cave into rioters, but support Islamic terror and jihad openly.  Do they approve?

Enoch Powell: Prophet of England REVISITED

In 2008 the Blogger Lionheart aka Paul Ray was facing charges stemming from his blogging posts about the local Pakistani drug gangs in his local town (Luton, England) and the evils of Islam and Shar'ia Law.  For years Paul was persecuted by the local police for his writings.  Instead of acting on his information about the drug dealers, the police enforced Shar'ia Law and demanded that he be punished for his insults to Islam.  Eventually he was acquitted, but not before he spent thousands of pounds in his defense.

In his defense I wrote the following article to show that Lionheart was a prophet of G-d in the way Enoch Powell was a prophet in his time.  This is the entire article:

In biblical times, the prophets would come from the wilderness and preach to the Children of Israel about G-d's anger at them. And the Children of Israel would ignore the prophets and finally incur G-d's wraith.

Great Britain had a prophet. He didn't come out of the wilderness, he came from Stechford, Birmingham, England. This prophet wasn't illiterate nor uneducated, but a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge. An enlistee in the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers, he served his nation first as a private but eventually as a Brigadier General (the youngest ever to hold that title). After the war he continue to serve his nation as a member of the Conservative Party when he was elected as the Member of Parliament for Wolverhampton, South Wales. He stayed there until 1987 when he finally lost his seat in Parliament.

So how did this scholar turned war hero turned politician become a prophet?

He did it by speaking out against what he perceived as the evils of his day: immigration, the loss of national identity, the monetary policy, and Great Britain's entry into the European Economic Community (the forerunner of the European Union). But this prophet is best known for his warning to the people of Great Britain on Immigration. A speech that wasn't well received at the time among the elitists, but the common man loved it. A speech that warned Great Britain that the time would come in which the streets of their cities would be running with A River of Blood.



Powell quoted statistics that in 15 to 20 years, there would be 3.5 million immigrants and their descendants in Britain. Powell estimated that by the year 2000, the figure would be 5 to 7 million, around one tenth of the population. Powell claimed that it was urgent to stop "further inflow, and by promoting the maximum outflow" because by 1985, the majority of the immigrant community would have been born in Britain. Powell asserted that this was "part of the official policy of the Conservative Party". He went on to say:

We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependents, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population. It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiances whom they have never seen.

He advocated voluntary re-emigration by "generous grants and assistance" and he claimed that immigrants had asked him whether it was possible. Powell said that all citizens should be equal before the law, and that:

The third element of the Conservative Party’s policy is that all who are in this country as citizens should be equal before the law and that there shall be no discrimination or difference made between them by public authority. As Mr. Heath has put it, we will have no ‘first-class citizens’ and ‘second-class citizens’. This does not mean that the immigrant and his descendants should be elevated into a privileged or special class or that the citizen should be denied his right to discriminate in the management of his own affairs between one fellow-citizen and another or that he should be subjected to inquisition as to his reasons and motives for behaving in one lawful manner rather than another.

He argued that journalists who urged the government to pass anti-discrimination laws were "of the same kidney and sometimes on the same newspapers which year after year in the 1930s tried to blind this country to rising power which confronted it.

The discrimination and the deprivation, the sense of alarm and of resentment, lies not with the immigrant population but with those among whom they have come and are still coming. This is why to enact legislation of the kind before Parliament at this moment is to risk throwing a match on to gunpowder.

This prophet, Enoch Powell was correct in his assessment of the way things would become in Great Britain if immigration wasn't curtailed. And he was correct. When he talked about the indigenous population of the nation (White people) in 1968 he spoke the truth:

For reasons which they could not comprehend, and in pursuance of a decision by default, on which they were never consulted, they found themselves made strangers in their own country. They found their wives unable to obtain hospital beds in childbirth, their children unable to obtain school places, their homes and neighborhoods changed beyond recognition, their plans and prospects for the future defeated; at work they found that employers hesitated to apply to the immigrant worker the standards of discipline and competence required of the native-born worker; they began to hear, as time went by, more and more voices which told them that they were now the unwanted. On top of this, they now learn that a one-way privilege is to be established by Act of Parliament: a law, which cannot, and is not intended, to operate to protect them or redress their grievances, is to be enacted to give the stranger, the disgruntled and the agent provocateur the power to pillory them for their private actions.

Powell's peroration of the speech gave rise to its popular title. He quotes the Sibyl speaking in the epic poem Aeneid:

As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding. Like the Roman, I seem to see ‘the River Tiber foaming with much blood’. That tragic and intractable phenomenon which we watch with horror on the other side of the Atlantic but which there is interwoven with the history and existence of the States itself, is coming upon us here by our own volition and our own neglect. Indeed, it has all but come. In numerical terms, it will be of American proportions long before the end of the century. Only resolute and urgent action will avert it even now. Whether there will be the public will to demand and obtain that action, I do not know. All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.

And then he was crucified on the cross of Multiculturalism. But his message didn't fall on deaf ears. Over the 40 years of this speech, the British have seen their nation of civilized behavior become a nation of barbarity. Christians not allowed to preach their Gospel, Muslim only enclaves in cities, Muslim bigotries becoming the norm.

But the news isn't all bad. Today we have many prophets crying the message of Enoch Powell. Prophets who are becoming outspoken against Multiculturalism and the Muslim invasion. Prophets who will not back down when faced with official harassment. Such a prophet is Lionheart. A man who is being harassed for hate speech in Great Britain simply because he spoke out about the truth behind the Muslim, oops Asian youth gangs destroying his hometown. And like the prophets of old and Enoch Powell, he is being persecuted for his words.

The words of Enoch Powell have come true this last week.  The England that he fought for is nearly destroyed by the Multicultural stupidity he denounced and the Welfare state that has destroyed not only the will to work but has given generations of British men and women no sense of patriotism or love of country at all.
