from all of the different forces who Mitt Romney. I was lucky enough to
get an advanced copy of the ad. The same email forwarding the ad asked
that it be shared with as many people as possible, so that is what I’m
doing:
For the past few days, I've had a gnawing feeling way down, deep inside, where my intuition resides. It has been growing in strength by the day. What is it? It is a growing certainty that Romney is going to win the election and the Republican Party is going to clean the Democratic Party's clock!
I'm a "news junkie." It is required if you are going to commit to the life of a commentator, or opinion writer. I read newspapers, back to front, page by page, every day -- plus broadcast news and Internet news -- from all over the world
-- in a near ceaseless stream of input.
What do I base my sudden insight on the elections results upon?
Well, if you have listened to broadcast news reports over the past few weeks you have noticed how often the word "narrative" is spoken. It has been used multiple times to describe the Mainstream Media's slant on this election cycle. And I do mean "slant" --as in bias.
A narrative is, simply put, a story. The story can be true or false, indeed, the story can be anything you want it to be defined by the manner in which you string together events that comprise the story, or narrative, you are telling.
Throughout the current Presidential Campaign cycle, the Mainstream Media's narrative has been that Obama is winning -- in a landslide -- and poor Romney is hopelessly doomed to lose the coming election.
It has bothered me for months that what I am seeing, hearing, and witnessing, simply does not align, with that which the media insists is the truth. Either my eyes and ears are lying -- or -- the media is lying.
Early on in the election cycle, many republicans were hesitant to cast their lot with the Romney camp. Much of that changed with the end of the primary season. When Romney chose Paul Ryan as his running mate, many conservatives, who had been hanging back, interpreted that as a sure sign that Romney did, indeed, mean to make a bold assault on America's economic problems and would do his utmost to get this country working and moving forward again. They flocked to Romney's side.
Then came the debates and the American public got to meet Romney. What they saw was a man who looked and sounded Presidential and who was obviously very smart, capable, and able, and was not the least bit cowed by Obama's rhetorical skills nor the President's stage presence. In fact, Romney outshone Obama on the stage and in the debates.
Slowly, the veil the MsM had drawn cross Mitt Romney was ripped and shredded
and cast aside. Suddenly, America saw a man who was not promising pie in the sky. In fact, if anything, he was offering blood, sweat, and tears, much as Winston Churchill had offered many decades before to the Brits. He convinced Americans that America could be saved and was worth saving and he would place himself in the front lines of the effort to rescue America and set her aright. No grandiose schemes -- just hard work with the payoff to come for our children and grandchildren.
Then there is the oft-discountedChristian vote. Talk about"righteous anger!" America's vast community of Christian voters are angrier than I have ever seen them. They are holding nationwide prayer vigils -- lasting forty days and forty nights -- right up to Election Day. What are they praying for? They are petitioning The Almighty to help them send Obama packing and to place Romney in the Oval Office on January 20th.
The left can laugh, snicker, belittle, and make fun of the Evangelical community all they like. But the fact is, there exists no more powerful force on the planet than the combined prayers of millions of God's people imploring their God to
intervene and help them save their country. Combine the prayers of millions of Catholics to those of the Evangelicals and miracles WILL HAPPEN.
Christians will go to the polls in record numbers November 6th -- and they will be voting their faith. Godless Marxism raised its ugly head in the government of their beloved country.Like matter and anti-matter Christians and Marxists cannot exist in the same space. America's Christian community has girded its loins for battle and is on the march.
Then there is this: Just days ago we learned that for the first time in history-- republicans voters now outnumber democrat voters in America. What happened? Obama happened!
A
slow-moving groundswell of support has been rolling in from the hinterlands, the heart of America, as they embraced Romney's approach to saving their blessed homeland.
I have come to believe, over the past few days, that that groundswell has quietly become a tsunami that is about to crash over the Obama encampment next week.
The souring on Obama was complete when his incompetence in the Benghazigate affair in Libya that cost the lives of four Americans became known in all its ugliness. The lies, the deceit, the duplicity, and the condescension of the Obama Administration toward the American people was the last straw for many who may have been undecided before Benghazi.
The MsM's "narrative" has now been compromised. The wall the Mainstream
Media so carefully constructed around their hero has been breached! It's crumbling along its length while the democrats, socialists, Marxists, progressives, and communists who have taken refuge behind its seeming invincibility are now exposed and vulnerable. Voters are not buying their narrative anymore. They now see it for the barnyard "step-around" that it really is.
"American Exceptionalism"is about to reassert itself and it is going to accomplish that feat right here on our own shores --FIRST.
We told our readers in 2010 that we would need two consecutive elections to win back our country's government. THIS is election number two.
If the landslide I now expect does, indeed, happen, chances are the GOP will win back the US Senate, as well. If not, it will be extremely close. Count on it.
Now,
it is not in my nature to be an optimist, nor a pessimist. I pride myself on being a realist, and I have even been accused of philosophical pragmatism. I say all that to say this:Now is not the time to relax, nor relent. Even though victory is in sight we must maintain the momentum, apply the pressure, continue the attack, until the flag of liberty is once again unfurled and snapping briskly in the free air over a free people.
From mansions to mobile homes, Americans are fired-up, motivated by anger at the abuse dealt their country and their country's constitution by the Obama Administration and they are determined to take their country back.
I suspect there will be shock and amazement amongst the Mainstream Mediaand their leaders on the political left in America -- and abroad -- Tuesday night.
OK. So, Romney wins and it's not a landslide? It will still be a victory worth having an extra national day of thanksgiving in November.

Unfortunately the American People were subjected to the final Presidential Debate. A debate that was supposed to be focused on foreign policy, but ended up a debate on the economy.

ROMNEY: With the Arab Spring, came a great deal of hope that there would be a change towards more moderation, and opportunity for greater participation on the part of women in public life, and in economic life in the Middle East. But instead, we've seen in nation after nation, a number of disturbing events. Of course we see in Syria, 30,000 civilians having been killed by the military there. We see in -- in Libya, an attack apparently by, I think we know now, by terrorists of some kind against -- against our people there, four people dead.
Our hearts and -- and minds go out to them. Mali has been taken over, the northern part of Mali by Al Qaeda type individuals. We have in -- in Egypt, a Muslim Brotherhood president. And so what we're seeing is a pretty dramatic reversal in the kind of hopes we had for that region. Of course the greatest threat of all is Iran, four years closer to a nuclear weapon. And -- and we're going to have to recognize that we have to do as the president has done. I congratulate him on -- on taking out
Osama bin Laden and going after the leadership in Al Qaeda.
But we can't kill our way out of this mess. We're going to have to put in place a very comprehensive and robust strategy to help the -- the world of Islam and other parts of the world, reject this radical violent extremism, which is -- it's certainly not on the run.
OBAMA: We ended the war in Iraq, refocused our attention on those who actually
killed us on 9/11. And as a consequence, Al Qaeda's core leadership has
been decimated.
ROMNEY: Mr. President, America has not dictated to other nations. We have freed other nations from dictators. OBAMA: You mentioned the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets, because the nature of our military's changed. We have these things called aircraft carriers, where planes land on them. We have these ships that go underwater, nuclear submarines.
ROMNEY: ...attacking me as not talking about an agenda
Now who won the debate: A Draw. Obama used his old talking points: bin Ladin, class warfare, and Bush. Romney didn't take advantage of the ability to attack Obama on his weaknesses. He was kind to him.
Who will win the World Series? I have no idea but will bet on the San Francisco Giants.
Oh and one more thing: Mr. President the Marines still use their Bayonets, the Army still uses horses and mules. These animals can go places that a Jeep cannot.
Who will win on November 6th? I give it to Romney/Ryan. And I don't care if it is a landslide.
ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel sent a staffer out on the streets of Hollywood on Tuesday to ask people who won “last night’s” debate — four hours before it even took place.
“God, um. I would go with Obama,” one young man said. “I’m going to say he was stronger this time around in his choice of answering questions.”
Another man also said Obama won, calling him “more alert this time and not so slacking like he did before.”
“Did you watch the whole thing?” the staffer asked.
Media Bias at the worst. Candy Crawly of CNN pulling for Barack Hussein Obama and covering for him on a question about Benghazi.
Awful. At the Hofstra Presidential Debate Candy Crowley jumped in to defend Barck Obama. Crowley said Obama called the Benghazi massacre a terror attack in Rose Garden the day after the slaughter.
He didn’t.
And five days later, despite having video of the massacre, the Obama Administration pushed the lie that it was a protest gone bad.
Not just Media Bias, but the fact that CNN is one of the official propaganda mills for the Obama Regime.
Barack Obama's lackluster debate performance last week has dramatically altered the presidential race in Florida, with Mitt Romney opening up a decisive 7 percentage point lead, according to a new Tampa Bay Times/Bay News 9/Miami Herald poll.
The survey conducted this week found 51 percent of likely Florida voters supporting Romney, 44 percent backing Obama and 4 percent undecided. That's a major shift from a month ago when the same poll showed Obama leading 48 percent to 47 percent — and a direct result of what Obama himself called a "bad night" at the first debate.
The debate prompted 5 percent of previously undecided voters and 2 percent of Obama backers to move to Romney. Another 2 percent of Obama supporters said they are now undecided because of the debate.
"There's no question in my mind that debate made people stand up and pay attention, and it really wiped away any questions people had about Romney, whether they were undecided or soft for Obama," said Brad Coker of Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, which conducted the poll for the Times and its media partners.
Across the board, from who is better suited to improve the economy, to who will protect Medicare, to looking out for the middle-class, to handling foreign policy, likely Florida voters now favor the former Massachusetts governor over the president.
"It's a very big shift since the debate, and where the shifts are taking place are very, very interesting because they are the types of shifts you see in Florida when something starts to break one way or another," said Coker, likening it to when Ronald Reagan shot past Jimmy Carter in 1980.
Take Tampa Bay, the battleground region that invariably mirrors statewide results. A month ago, Obama had a 4 percentage point lead in Tampa Bay. This week, Romney led by 8 percent, 52 to 44. In Central Florida, Romney now leads by 6 points.
Likewise, Obama's lead among likely women voters in Florida fell from 15 percentage points last month to just 2 points, 49 percent for Obama and 47 percent for Romney.
Obama's once 11 point lead among likely independent voters had cascaded into a 13 point lead for Romney this week, 52 percent to 39 percent.
The poll found little change among Florida youngest voters, 18-34, or oldest voters, 65 and up. But those ages 35 to 64, who had been evenly divided a month ago, moved dramatically to the Republican nominee. Romney now has a nine point lead among voters age 35-49 and a 15 point lead among those between 50 and 64.
Especially ominous were the numbers for Hispanic voters, a demographic where the Obama campaign is banking on an advantage of at least 15 percentage points. The poll showed 44 percent of likely Hispanic voters favoring Obama and 46 for Romney, though the margin of error is higher with that smaller group of voters.
"We ran away from other countries in search of a more traditional United States," said Coral Gables resident Mary Gonzalez, who immigrated from Venezuela. "I think with the current president, the United States moves to (the left). And with Romney, I believe he can return the United States to its traditional course."
The bottom line? Obama appears to be in serious trouble in America's biggest battleground state. He has two debates and 25 days to turn it around, but the poll points to a race that had been close and stable for months shifting significantly toward the Republican nominee.
"You cant say it's over, but if nothing changes — no major gaffes, no big stories that come out of nowhere, relatively equal debate performances where nobody really outdoes the other — I think Florida is going to fall into the Romney column," Coker said."I think once voters fall off of Obama it's going to be harder for Obama to bring them em back."
The telephone survey of 800 registered Florida voters — all likely to vote in the November election — was conducted Oct. 8-10 for the Tampa Bay Times, Bay News 9, Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald and Central Florida News 13. The poll, which included respondents using land-lines and cell phones, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
Not all the polling news was bleak for Obama Thursday. An Oct. 7-9 NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist Florida poll found significantly different results, with Obama leading Romney among likely Florida voters 48 percent to 47 percent, and well ahead of Romney among women. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent.
A couple differences between the Marist poll and Mason-Dixon: Mason-Dixon, which has been polling in Florida for 28 years, uses a survey sample based on people's voter actual registration to match the electorate in Florida, while Marist uses a sample based on whether people say they consider themselves a Republican, Democrat or independent. About 20 percent of the likely voters in the Marist poll were Hispanic, while 13 percent were Hispanic in the Mason-Dixon poll, more in line with the Florida voting patterns. Marist had Obama leading among Hispanics 47 percent to 45 percent.
The average of recent Florida polls compiled by RealClearPolitics, without the latest Times poll included, shows a dead even race, 47.5 percent for Romney and 47.5 percent for Obama.
The Times poll "is just not rooted in reality," senior Obama adviser David Plouffe said Thursday. "We got 57 percent of the Latino vote, according to exit (polls) last time. We think we'll probably push 60 or above this time."
Plouffe told the Times the Obama campaign believes it leads in Florida by a percentage point or two and that it's floor of support in the state is at least 47 percent: "It's impossible for us to be at 44 in Florida."
But even fans of Obama are shaking their heads about his debate last week.
North Port resident Virginia Leonard, 92 is a registered Republican who voted for McCain four years ago, but is firmly in Obama's camp this time. Still, she wondered if Obama had been drugged he was so lethargic in the debate.
Democrat Dora Williams, a 71-year-old St. Petersburg retiree, also supports Obama but was taken aback by the debate.
"I was like, 'Ooh, why didn't he speak up?' But he was caught by surprise so I understand that," she said. "When somebody is lying to your face, you can be caught off guard."
Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson appears to be a non-factor in Florida, with just 1 percent backing him or any other third party candidate.
Florida voters were closely divided on the president's job performance last month, but this week the poll found 54 percent disapprove of his performance and 44 percent approve. Forty five percent have a favorable view of Obama and 49 percent an unfavorable view, while 50 percent have a favorable view of Romney and only 38 percent an unfavorable view.
Fifty four percent see the country heading on the wrong track and 41 percent say it's on the right track. Forty four percent say they are better off today than four years ago and 50 percent said they're not.
"This man, Obama, has done little, but he has done something. Also keep in mind that the previous president left the country in bad shape, and the current president has not had enough time to fix things. We have to give him more time to fix things right," said Lorenzo Ruiz, 84, of Miami.
But on key questions Romney has the advantage:
• Who do you trust more to improve the economy? Romney 50 percent, Obama 44 percent.
• Who do you trust more on foreign policy? Romney 49 percent, Obama 46 percent.
• Who do you trust more to look out for the middle class? Romney 50 percent, Obama 47 percent.
• Who do you consider more trustworthy to lead the nation? Romney 51 percent, Obama 46 percent.
• Whose plans are more likely to do more long-term harm to Medicare? Obama 54 percent, Romney 40 percent.
"I think Medicare as we know it will cease to exist because its not sustainable for the future. We do need to have change in the way it's handled. Medicare and Social Security are both going to have to change," said Ron Govin, a 72-year-old Republican from Temple Terrace, a Romney supporter who watched the debate with interest.
"I thought Romney presented some pretty defendable decisions that indicated what he would do. Contrary to that, I thought the president was almost like he wasn't there in his response. Almost like it was kind of new to him," Govin said.
The Obama campaign is worried. Add to those poll numbers this one taken among Jewish voters and you get the picture that the tide has turned.
I think we can safely put Florida on the Romney side. Unless Mitt Romney makes some very serious gaffs in the next 2 debates, a highly unlikely prospect, on November 6th, 2012 the American People will tell President Barack Hussein Obama:
The DailyMail reports David Axelrod saying The Won thought he won the first presidential debate against his insignificant opponent, Mitt Romney. Others said Obama was disdainful of Romney and had “one-liners” to combat/humiliate Romney’s truthful remarks on the “47%” but didn’t use them. No one attached to the debate prep thought Obama taking time off to visit Hoover Dam and a campaign headquarters locale was a good idea.
The Democrat, who is aligned with the Obama campaign and has been an unofficial adviser on occasions, said that David Axelrod, Obama’s chief strategist, was stunned that the President left the stage feeling that he had won the debate. Source: DailyMail

Obama Romney presidential debate 2012: The first of three matchups between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney was held in Colorado last night. Romney handily trounced his opponent on the issues of jobs, the economy and taxes. To Obama's Democratic supporters, it looked as thought the president didn't even want to be there.
Moderator Jim Lehrer struggled to do his job. Romney said he would cut subsidies to PBS, though he said he liked Big Bird and liked Jim Lehrer, too.
Last night Governor Mitt Romney hit home run after home run during the 1st Presidential Debate. President Barack Hussein Obama looked like a deer in the headlights and had a very bad night. Some of the highlights of this evening was:
My plan has five basic parts. One, get us energy independent, North American energy independent. That creates about 4 million jobs. Number two, open up more trade, particularly in Latin America, crack down on China, if and when they cheat. Number three, make sure our people have the skills they need to succeed and the best schools in the world. We're a far way from that now. Number four, get us to a balanced budget.
Number five, champion small business. It's small business that creates the jobs in America. And over the last four years, small- business people have decided that America may not be the place to open a new business, because new business startups are down to a 30-year low. I know what it takes to get small business growing again, to hire people.
Then this one.
First of all, I don't have a $5 trillion tax cut. I don't have a tax cut of a scale that you're talking about. My view is that we ought to provide tax relief to people in the middle class. But I'm not going to reduce the share of taxes paid by high-income people. High-income people are doing just fine in this economy. They'll do fine whether you're president or I am.
The people who are having the hard time right now are middle- income Americans. Under the president's policies, middle-income Americans have been buried. They're just being crushed. Middle- income Americans have seen their income come down by $4,300. This is a -- this is a tax in and of itself. I'll call it the economy tax. It's been crushing.
At the same time, gasoline prices have doubled under the president. Electric rates are up. Food prices are up. Health care costs have gone up by $2,500 a family. Middle-income families are being crushed.
And so the question is how to get them going again. And I've described it. It's energy and trade, the right kind of training programs, balancing our budget and helping small business. Those are the -- the cornerstones of my plan.
But the president mentioned a couple of other ideas I'll just note. First, education. I agree: Education is key, particularly the future of our economy. But our training programs right now, we've got 47 of them, housed in the federal government, reporting to eight different agencies. Overhead is overwhelming. We've got to get those dollars back to the states and go to the workers so they can create their own pathways to get in the training they need for jobs that will really help them.
The second area, taxation, we agree, we ought to bring the tax rates down. And I do, both for corporations and for individuals. But in order for us not to lose revenue, have the government run out of money, I also lower deductions and credits and exemptions, so that we keep taking in the same money when you also account for growth.
The third area, energy. Energy is critical, and the president pointed out correctly that production of oil and gas in the U.S. is up. But not due to his policies. In spite of his policies.
Mr. President, all of the increase in natural gas and oil has happened on private land, not on government land. On government land, your administration has cut the number of permits and licenses in half. If I'm president, I'll double them, and also get the -- the oil from offshore and Alaska. And I'll bring that pipeline in from Canada.
And, by the way, I like coal. I'm going to make sure we can continue to burn clean coal. People in the coal industry feel like it's getting crushed by your policies. I want to get America and North America energy independent so we can create those jobs.
And finally, with regards to that tax cut, look, I'm not looking to cut massive taxes and to reduce the -- the revenues going to the government. My -- my number-one principal is, there will be no tax cut that adds to the deficit. I want to underline that: no tax cut that adds to the deficit.
But I do want to reduce the burden being paid by middle-income Americans. And I -- and to do that, that also means I cannot reduce the burden paid by high-income Americans. So any -- any language to the contrary is simply not accurate
And Finally this:
So if the tax plan he described were a tax plan I was asked to support, I'd say absolutely not. I'm not looking for a $5 trillion tax cut. What I've said is I won't put in place a tax cut that adds to the deficit. That's part one. So there's no economist that can say Mitt Romney's tax plan adds $5 trillion if I say I will not add to the deficit with my tax plan.
Number two, I will not reduce the share paid by high-income individuals. I know that you and your running mate keep saying that and I know it's a popular thing to say with a lot of people, but it's just not the case. Look, I've got five boys. I'm used to people saying something that's not always true, but just keep on repeating it and ultimately hoping I'll believe it. But that -- that is not the case. All right? I will not reduce the taxes paid by high-income Americans.
And number three, I will not under any circumstances raise taxes on middle-income families. I will lower taxes on middle-income families. Now, you cite a study. There are six other studies that looked at the study you describe and say it's completely wrong. I saw a study that came out today that said you're going to raise taxes by $3,000 to $4,000 on middle-income families.
There are all these studies out there. But let's get at the bottom line. That is, I want to bring down rates. I want to bring the rates down, at the same time lower deductions and exemptions and credits and so forth, so we keep getting the revenue we need. And you'd think, well, then why lower the rates?

Tonight was Romney's night, even with Jim Lehrer helping Obama out. I can see many minds changing and showing the fact that President Barack Hussein Obama is nothing but an empty suit.

After checking it for accuracy, and finding it so, I put my writing on hold and here present it to you, for I could not say it better.

Obama’s Second Term Transformation Plans
The 2012 election has often been described as the most pivotal since 1860. This statement is not hyperbole. If Barack Obama is re-elected the United States will never be the same, nor will it be able to re-capture its once lofty status as the most dominant nation in the history of mankind.
The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama’s first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of “transforming America ” in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders.
The most significant accomplishment of Obama’s first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency.
During the first two years of the Obama administration when the Democrats overwhelmingly controlled both Houses of Congress and the media was in an Obama-worshiping stupor, a myriad of laws were passed and actions taken which transferred virtually unlimited power to the executive branch.
The birth of multi-thousand page laws was not an aberration. This tactic was adopted so the bureaucracy controlled by Obama appointees would have sole discretion in interpreting vaguely written laws and enforcing thousands of pages of regulations they and not Congress would subsequently write.
For example, in the 2,700 pages of ObamaCare there are more than 2,500 references to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are more than 700 instances when he or she is instructed that they “shall” do something and more than 200 times when they “may” take at their sole discretion some form of regulatory action. On 139 occasions, the law mentions that the “Secretary
determines.” In essence one person, appointed by and reporting to the president, will be in charge of the health care of 310 million Americans once ObamaCare is fully operational in 2014.
The same is true in the 2,319 pages of the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform Act which confers nearly unlimited power on various agencies to control by fiat the nation’s financial, banking and investment sectors. The bill also creates new agencies, such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, not subject to any oversight by Congress. This overall process was repeated numerous times with other legislation all with the intent of granting unfettered power to the executive branch controlled Barack Obama and his radical associates.
Additionally, the Obama administration has, through its unilaterally determined rule making and regulatory powers, created laws out of whole cloth. The Environmental Protection Agency on a near daily basis issues new regulations clearly out of their purview in order to modify and change environmental laws previously passed and to impose a radical green agenda never approved by Congress. The same is true of the Energy and Interior Departments among many others.
None of these extra-constitutional actions have been challenged by Congress. The left in America knows this usurpation of power is nearly impossible to reverse unless stopped in its early stages.
It is clearly the mindset of this administration and its appointees that Congress is merely a nuisance and can be ignored after they were able to take full advantage of the useful idiots in the Democrat controlled House and Senate in 2009-2010 and the Democrat Senate in the current Congress.
Additionally, Barack Obama knows after his re-election a Republican controlled House and Senate will not be able to enact any legislation to roll back the power previously granted to the Executive Branch or usurped by them. His veto will not be overridden as there will always be at least 145 Democratic members of the House or 34 in the Senate in agreement with or intimidated by an administration more than willing to use Chicago- style political tactics.
The stalemate between the Executive and Legislative Branches will inure to the benefit of Barack Obama and his fellow leftists.
The most significant power Congress has is the control of the purse-strings as all spending must be approved by them. However, once re-elected, Barack Obama, as confirmed by his willingness to do or say anything and his unscrupulous re-election tactics, would not only threaten government shutdowns but would deliberately withhold payments to those dependent on government support as a means of intimidating and forcing a Republican controlled Congress to surrender to his demands, thus neutering their ability to control the administration through spending constraints.
Further, this administration has shown contempt for the courts by ignoring various court orders, e.g., the Gulf of Mexico oil drilling moratorium, as well as stonewalling subpoenas and requests issued by Congress. The Eric Holder Justice Department (DoJ) has become the epitome of corruption as part of the most dishonest and deceitful administration in American history. In a second term the arrogance of
Barack Obama and his minions will become more blatant as he will not have to be concerned with re-election.
Who will be there to enforce the rule of law, a Supreme Court ruling or the Constitution? No one. Barack Obama and his fellow-travelers will be unchallenged as they run roughshod over the American people.
Many Republicans and conservatives dissatisfied with the prospect of Mitt Romney as the nominee for president are instead focused on re-taking the House and Senate. That goal, while worthy and necessary, is meaningless unless Barack Obama is defeated. The nation is not dealing with a person of character and integrity but someone of single-minded purpose and overwhelming narcissism. Judging by his actions, words and deeds during his first term, he does not intend to work with Congress either Republican or Democrat in his second term, but rather to force his radical agenda on the American people through the power he has usurped or been granted.
The governmental structure of the United States was set up by the Founders in the hope that over the years only those people of high moral character and integrity would assume the reins of power. However, knowing that was not always possible, they dispersed power over three distinct and independent branches as a check on each other.
What they could not imagine is the surrender and abdication of its constitutional duty by the preeminent governmental branch, the Congress, to a chief executive devoid of any character or integrity coupled with a judiciary essentially powerless to enforce the law when the chief executive ignores them.
Conservatives, Libertarians, the Republican Party and Mitt Romney must come to grips with this moment in time and their historical role in denying Barack Obama and his minions their ultimate goal. All resources must be directed at that end-game and not merely controlling Congress and the various committee chairmanships
This election is too important to ignore, to be complacent, to "forget" to vote. We need everyone to go out to the polls. If you know of a person who needs a ride to the polls, give it to him or her.

What happened after we knew that at least one unidentified American was dead in the Embassy (as it was reported last night), but actually a Consulate – not that it matters – called for a statement. Our sovereign spot on Egyptian soil had been seized. Imagine Americans doing that to the Egyptian Embassy in this country. It called for a statement, and how unfortunate for the State Department and Obama that that ignorant notice went up on the Government website. Did you miss it? Here it is:
The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims– as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
The history of this Administration shows that our Government intended to say exactly what it said.
Obama says he wasn’t aware of the statement of his own State Department, just as he said he didn’t know the DNC has taken “God” and “God-given Potential” out of the party platform. What Obama didn’t, and doesn’t know, will fill history books as no other President’s ignorance has in all the years of our presidential history.

MITT ROMNEY: Good morning. Americans woke up this morning with tragic news and felt heavy hearts as they considered that individuals who have served in our diplomatic core were brutally murdered across the world.
This attack on American individuals and embassies is outrageous, it’s disgusting, it breaks the hearts of all of us who think of these people who have served during their lives for the cause of freedom, and justice and honor. We mourn their loss and join together in prayer that the spirit of the All Mighty might comfort the families of those who have been so brutally slain.
Four diplomats lost their life, including the U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens in the attack on our embassy at Benghazi, Libya – and of course with these words I extend my condolences to the grieving loved ones who have been left behind as a result of these who have lost their lives in the service of our Nation, and I know that the people across America are grateful for their service, and we mourn their
sacrifice.
America will not tolerate attacks against our citizens and against our embassies. We’ll defend also our constitutional rights of speech, and assembly, and religion. We have confidence in our cause in America. We respect our Constitution. We stand for the principles our Constitution protects. We encourage other nations to understand and respect the principles of our Constitution, because we recognize that these principles are the ultimate source of freedom for individuals around the world.
Possibly the Administration was wrong to standby a statement sympathizing with those who had breached our embassy in Egypt instead of condemning their actions.
Its never too early for the United States Government to condemn attacks on Americans and to defend our values. The White House distanced itself last night from the statement saying it wasn’t cleared by Washington. That reflects the mixed signals they are sending to the world. The attacks in Libya and Egypt underscore that the world remains a dangerous place and that American leadership is still sorely needed.
In the face of this violence, America cannot shrink from the responsibility to lead. American leadership is necessary to insure that events in the region don’t spin out of control. We cannot hesitate to use our influence in the region to support those who share our values and our interests.
Over the last several years we’ve stood witness to an Arab Spring that presents an opportunity for a more peaceful and prosperous region, but also poses the potential for peril if the forces of extremism and violence are allowed to control the course of events.
We must strive to insure that the Arab Spring does not become an Arab Winter. With that I’m happy to take any questions you may have. [Romney calls on 'Steve.']
REPORTER: The statement you referred to was a toughly worded statement last night. Do you regret the tone at all given what we know?
ROMNEY: The Embassy in Cairo put out a statement after their grounds had been breached, protestors were inside the grounds, they reiterated that statement after the breach. I think it’s a terrible course for America to stand in apology for our values, that instead when our ground are being attacked and being breached that the first response of the United States must be outrage at the breach of the sovereignty of our Nation, and apology for America’s values is never the right course.
REPORTER: Governor Romney do you think, though, coming so soon after the events really had unfolded overnight was appropriate, to be weighing in on this as this crisis is unfolding in realtime?
ROMNEY: The White House also issued a statement saying it tried to distance itself from those comments and said they were not reflecting of their views. I had the exact same reaction. These views were inappropriate. They were the wrong course to take when our Embassy has been breached by protestors. The first response should not be to say, yes, we standby our comments that suggest that there is something wrong
with the right of free speech.
REPORTER: What did the White House do wrong, then, Governor Romney if they put out a statement saying they disagreed it?
ROMNEY: Their Administration spoke. The President takes responsibility, not just for the words that come from his mouth but also for the words that come from his Ambassadors from his Administration, from his Embassies, from the State Department. They clearly sent mixed messages to the world, and the statement that came from the
Administration, and the Embassy is the Administration. The statement that came from the Administration was a statement which is akin to apology and I think was a severe miscalculation.
REPORTER: You talk about mixed signals. The world was watching. Isn’t this assault a mixed signal when you criticize the Administration when Americans are being killed? Shouldn’t politics stop?
ROMNEY: We have a campaign for the Presidency of the United States and are speaking about the different courses we would each take with regard to the challenges that the world faces. The President and I, for instance, have differences of opinion with regards to Israel and our policies there, with regards to Iran, with regards to Afghanistan, with regards to Syria. We have many places of distinctions and differences.
We join together in the condemnation of attacks on the American Embassies and the loss of American life and join in sympathy for these people. But it’s also important for me, just as it was for the White House last night by the way, to say that the statements were inappropriate, and in my view a disgraceful statement on the part of our Administration to apologize for American values.
REPORTER: Governor, some people have said that you jumped the gun a little in putting that statement out last night and you should have waited until more details were available. Do you regret having that statement come out so early before we learned about all the things that were happening?
ROMNEY: I don’t think we ever hesitate when we see something which is a violation of our principles. We express immediately when we feel that the President and his Administration have done something which is inconsistent with the principles of America.
Simply put, having an Embassy which has been breached and has protestors on its grounds, having violated the sovereignty of the United States, having that Embassy reiterate a statement effectively apologizing for the right of free speech is not the right course for an administration.
REPORTER: If you had known last night that the Ambassador had died, and obviously, I’m gathering that you did not know…
ROMNEY: That came later.
REPORTER: Ff you had known that the Ambassador had died…
ROMNEY: I’m not going to take hypotheticals about what would have been known, what and when and so forth. We responded last night in the events that happened in Egypt.
REPORTER: One of your professed reasons for running is your economic know-how and your private sector experience, but now that foreign policy and the situation in the Middle East has been thrust into the Presidential campaign, can you talk about specifically why you think you are better qualified than President Obama to handle these issues?
ROMNEY: I think President Obama has demonstrated a lack of clarify as to a foreign policy. My foreign policy has three fundamental branches. First, confidence in our cause, a recognition that the principles America is based upon is not something we shrink from or apologize for, that we stand for those principles. The second is clarity in our purpose which is when we have a foreign policy objective we describe it honestly and clearly to the American people, to Congress, and to the people of the world. And Number three, is resolve in our might, that in those rare circumstances, those rare circumstances where we decide it’s essential for us to apply military might, that we do so with overwhelming force, that we do so with the clarity of a mission, understanding and the nature of the U.S. interest involved, understanding when it will be complete, what will be left behind us when that mission
has been terminated. These elements I believe are essential to our foreign policy and I haven’t seen them from the President. As I’ve watched over the past three and a half years, the President has had some successes, he’s had some failures, it’s a hit-or-miss approach but it has not based upon sound foreign policy.
REPORTER: How specifically does Governor Romney – would a President Romney have handled this situation differently than President Obama? You spoke out before midnight when all the facts weren’t known. How would you have handled this differently than the President did?
ROMNEY: I spoke out when the key fact was known, which was that the Embassy of the United States issued what appeared to be a policy for American principles. That was a mistake. I believe when a mistake is made of that significance you speak out.

Mitt Romney not being "likable" or that he doesn't "relate well" to
people. Frankly, we struggled to understand why. So after much
research, we have come up with a Top Ten List to explain this
"unlikablility."
Top Ten Reasons To Dislike Mitt
Romney:
1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious,
statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for
Commander-in-Chief.
2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life,
and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast
cancer and MS.
3. No scandals or skeletons in his
closet. (How boring is that?)
4. Can't speak in a fake, southern,
"black preacher voice" when necessary.
5. Highly intelligent.
Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business
School...and by the way, his academic records are NOT
sealed.
6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol,
and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went
to college. Too square for today's America?
7. Represents an America of
"yesterday", where people believed in God, went to .church, didn't screw
around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!
8. Has a family of five
great sons....and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab.
But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that "choice"
deserves America's scorn.
9. Oh yes.....he's a Mormon. We need to
be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to
be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable,
self-reliant, and honest.
10. And one more point.....pundits
say because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess
that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or
inheriting it from Dad. Apparently, he didn't understand that actually
working at a job and earning your own money made you unrelatable to
Americans.

I know he has
the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has

smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or
terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn
the United States.

Four years ago, I know that many Americans felt a fresh excitement about the possibilities of a new president. That president was not the choice of our party but Americans always come together after elections.

When that hard fought election was over, when the yard signs came down and the television commercials finally came off the air, Americans were eager to go back to work, to live our lives the way Americans always have – optimistic and positive and confident in the future.
That very optimism is uniquely American.
It is what brought us to America. We are a nation of immigrants. We are the children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the ones who wanted a better life, the driven ones, the ones who woke up at night hearing that voice telling them that life in that place called America could be better.
They came not just in pursuit of the riches of this world but for the richness of this life.
Freedom. Freedom of religion. Freedom to speak their mind. Freedom to build a life.
And yes, freedom to build a business. With their own hands.
This is the essence of the American experience.
We Americans have always felt a special kinship with the future.
When every new wave of immigrants looked up and saw the Statue of Liberty, or knelt down and kissed the shores of freedom just ninety miles from Castro’s tyranny, these new Americans surely had many questions. But none doubted that here in America they could build a better life, that in America their children would be more blessed than
they.
But today, four years from the excitement of the last election, for the first time, the majority of Americans now doubt that our children will have a better future.
It is not what we were promised.
Every family in America wanted this to be a time when they could get ahead a little more, put aside a little more for college, do more for their elderly mom who’s living alone now or give a little more to their church or charity.
Every small business wanted these to be their best years ever, when they could hire more, do more for those who had stuck with them through the hard times, open a new store or sponsor that Little League team.
Every new college graduate thought they'd have a good job by now, a place of their own, and that they could start paying back some of their loans and build for the future.
This is when our nation was supposed to start paying down the national debt and rolling back those massive deficits.
This was the hope and change America voted for.
It’s not just what we wanted. It’s not just what we expected.
It’s what Americans deserved.
You deserved it because during these years, you worked harder than ever before. You deserved it because when it cost more to fill up your car, you cut out movie nights and put in longer hours. Or when you lost that job that paid $22.50 an hour with benefits, you took two jobs at 9 bucks an hour and fewer benefits. You did it because your family depended on you. You did it because you’re an American and you don’t quit. You did it because it was what you had to do.
But driving home late from that second job, or standing there watching the gas pump hit 50 dollars and still going, when the realtor told you that to sell your house you’d have to take a big loss, in those moments you knew that this just wasn’t right.
But what could you do? Except work harder, do with less, try to stay optimistic. Hug your kids a little longer; maybe spend a little more time praying that tomorrow would be a better day.
I wish President Obama had succeeded because I want America to succeed. But his promises gave way to disappointment and division. This isn't something we have to accept. Now is the moment when we CAN do something. With your help we will do something.
Now is the moment when we can stand up and say, “I’m an American. I make my destiny. And we deserve better! My children deserve better! My family deserves better. My country deserves better!”
So here we stand. Americans have a choice. A decision.
To make that choice, you need to know more about me and about where I will lead our country.
I was born in the middle of the century in the middle of the country, a classic baby boomer. It was a time when Americans were returning from war and eager to work. To be an American was to assume that all things were possible. When President Kennedy challenged Americans to go to the moon, the question wasn’t whether we'd get there, it was only when we'd get there.
The soles of Neil Armstrong's boots on the moon made permanent impressions on OUR souls and in our national psyche. Ann and I watched those steps together on her parent's sofa. Like all Americans we went to bed that night knowing we lived in the greatest country in the history of the world. G-d bless Neil Armstrong. Tonight that American flag is still there on the moon. And I don't doubt for a second that Neil Armstrong's spirit is still with us: that unique blend of optimism, humility and the utter confidence that when the world needs someone to do the really big stuff, you need an American
That's how I was brought up.
My dad had been born in Mexico and his family had to leave during the Mexican revolution. I grew up with stories of his family being fed by the US Government as war refugees. My dad never made it through college and apprenticed as a lath and plaster carpenter. And he had big dreams. He convinced my mom, a beautiful young actress, to give up Hollywood to marry him. He moved to Detroit, led a great automobile company and became Governor of the Great State of Michigan.
We were Mormons and growing up in Michigan; that might have seemed unusual or out of place but I really don’t remember it that way. My friends cared more about what sports teams we followed than what church we went to.
My mom and dad gave their kids the greatest gift of all – the gift of unconditional love. They cared deeply about who we would BE, and much less about what we would DO.
Unconditional love is a gift that Ann and I have tried to pass on to our sons and now to our grandchildren. All the laws and legislation in the world will never heal this world like the loving hearts and arms of mothers and fathers. If every child could drift to sleep feeling wrapped in the love of their family – and G-d’s love - this world would be a far more gentle and better place.
Mom and Dad were married 64 years. And if you wondered what their secret was, you could have asked the local florist – because every day Dad gave Mom a rose, which he put on her bedside table. That's how she found out what happened on the day my father died – she went looking for him because that morning, there was no rose.
My mom and dad were true partners, a life lesson that shaped me by everyday example. When my mom ran for the Senate, my dad was there for her every step of the way. I can still hear her saying in her beautiful voice, “Why should women have any less say than men, about the great decisions facing our nation?”
I wish she could have been here at the convention and heard leaders like Governor Mary Fallin, Governor Nikki Haley, Governor Susana Martinez, Senator Kelly Ayotte and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
As Governor of Massachusetts, I chose a woman Lt. Governor, a woman chief of staff, half of my cabinet and senior officials were women, and in business, I mentored and supported great women leaders who went on to run great companies.
I grew up in Detroit in love with cars and wanted to be a car guy, like my dad. But by the time I was out of school, I realized that I had to go out on my own, that if I stayed around Michigan in the same business, I’d never really know if I was getting a break because of my dad. I wanted to go someplace new and prove myself.
Those weren’t the easiest of days – too many long hours and weekends working, five young sons who seemed to have this need to re-enact a different world war every night. But if you ask Ann and I what we’d give, to break up just one more fight between the boys, or wake up in the morning and discover a pile of kids asleep in our room. Well, every mom and dad knows the answer to that.
Those days were toughest on Ann, of course. She was heroic. Five boys, with our families a long way away. I had to travel a lot for my job then and I’d call and try to offer support. But every mom knows that doesn't help get the homework done or the kids out the door to school.
I knew that her job as a mom was harder than mine. And I knew without question, that her job as a mom was a lot more important than mine. And as America saw Tuesday night, Ann would have succeeded at anything she wanted to.
Like a lot of families in a new place with no family, we found kinship with a wide circle of friends through our church. When we were new to the community it was welcoming and as the years went by, it was a joy to help others who had just moved to town or just joined our church. We had remarkably vibrant and diverse congregants from all walks of life and many who were new to America. We prayed together, our kids played together and we always stood ready to help each other out in different ways.
And that’s how it is in America. We look to our communities, our faiths, our families for our joy, our support, in good times and bad. It is both how we live our lives and why we live our lives. The strength and power and goodness of America has always been based on the strength and power and goodness of our communities, our families, our faiths.
That is the bedrock of what makes America, America. In our best days, we can feel the vibrancy of America’s communities, large and small.
It’s when we see that new business opening up downtown. It’s when we go to work in the morning and see everybody else on our block doing the same.
It’s when our son or daughter calls from college to talk about which job offer they should take….and you try not to choke up when you hear that the one they like is not far from home.
It’s that good feeling when you have more time to volunteer to coach your kid’s soccer team, or help out on school trips.
But for too many Americans, these good days are harder to come by.
How many days have you woken up feeling that something really special was happening in America?
Many of you felt that way on Election Day four years ago. Hope and Change had a powerful appeal. But tonight I'd ask a simple question: If you felt that excitement when you voted for Barack Obama, shouldn’t you feel that way now that he’s President Obama? You know there’s something wrong with the kind of job he’s done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him.
The President hasn’t disappointed you because he wanted to. The President has disappointed America because he hasn’t led America in the right direction. He took office without the basic qualification that most Americans have and one that was essential to his task. He had almost no experience working in a business. Jobs to him are about government.
I learned the real lessons about how America works from experience.
When I was 37, I helped start a small company. My partners and I had been working for a company that was in the business of helping other businesses.
So some of us had this idea that if we really believed our advice was helping companies, we should invest in companies. We should bet on ourselves and on our advice.
So we started a new business called Bain Capital. The only problem was, while WE believed in ourselves, nobody else did. We were young and had never done this before and we almost didn’t get off the ground. In those days, sometimes I wondered if I had made a really big mistake. I had thought about asking my church’s pension fund to invest, but I didn't. I figured it was bad enough that I might lose my investors’ money, but I didn’t want to go to hell too. Shows what I know. We started an early childhood learning center called Bright Horizons that First Lady Michelle Obama rightly praised. At a time when nobody thought we'd ever see a new steel mill
built in America, we took a chance and built one in a corn field in Indiana. Today Steel Dynamics is one of the largest steel producers in the United States.
These are American success stories. And yet the centerpiece of the President’s entire re-election campaign is attacking success. Is it any wonder that someone who attacks success has led the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression? In America, we celebrate success, we don't apologize for it.
We weren’t always successful at Bain. But no one ever is in the real world of business.
That’s what this President doesn’t seem to understand. Business and growing jobs is about taking risk, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding, but always striving. It is about dreams. Usually, it doesn't work out exactly as you might have imagined. Steve Jobs was fired at Apple. He came back and changed the world.
It’s the genius of the American free enterprise system – to harness the extraordinary creativity and talent and industry of the American people with a system that is dedicated to creating tomorrow’s prosperity rather than trying to redistribute today's.
That is why every president since the Great Depression who came before the American people asking for a second term could look back at the last four years and say with satisfaction: "you are better off today than you were four years ago."
Except Jimmy Carter. And except this president.
This president can ask us to be patient. This president can tell us it was someone else’s fault. This president can tell us that the next four years he’ll get it right. But this president cannot tell us that YOU are better off today than when he took office.
America has been patient. Americans have supported this president in good faith.
But today, the time has come to turn the page.
Today the time has come for us to put the disappointments of the last four years behind us.
To put aside the divisiveness and the recriminations.
To forget about what might have been and to look ahead to what can be.
Now is the time to restore the Promise of America. Many Americans have given up on this president but they haven’t ever thought about giving up. Not on themselves. Not on each other. And not on America.
What is needed in our country today is not complicated or profound. It doesn't take a special government commission to tell us what America needs.
What America needs is jobs.
Lots of jobs.
In the richest country in the history of the world, this Obama economy has crushed the middle class. Family income has fallen by $4,000, but health insurance premiums are higher, food prices are higher, utility bills are higher, and gasoline prices have doubled. Today more Americans wake up in poverty than ever before. Nearly one out of six Americans is living in poverty. Look around you. These are not strangers. These are our brothers and sisters, our fellow Americans.
His policies have not helped create jobs, they have depressed them. And this I can tell you about where President Obama would take America:
His plan to raise taxes on small business won't add jobs, it will eliminate them;
His assault on coal and gas and oil will send energy and manufacturing jobs to China;
His trillion dollar cuts to our military will eliminate hundreds of thousands of jobs, and also put our security at greater risk;
His $716 billion cut to Medicare to finance Obamacare will both hurt today's seniors, and depress innovation – and jobs – in medicine.

To the majority of Americans who now believe that the future will not be better than the past, I can guarantee you this: if Barack Obama is re-elected, you will be right.
I am running for president to help create a better future. A future where everyone who wants a job can find one. Where no senior fears for the security of their retirement. An America where every parent knows that their child will get an education that leads them to a good job and a bright horizon.
And unlike the President, I have a plan to create 12 million new jobs. It has 5 steps.
First, by 2020, North America will be energy independent by taking full advantage of our oil and coal and gas and nuclear and renewables.
Second, we will give our fellow citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today and the careers of tomorrow. When it comes to the school your child will attend, every parent should have a choice, and every child should have a chance.
Third, we will make trade work for America by forging new trade agreements. And when nations cheat in trade, there will be unmistakable consequences.
Fourth, to assure every entrepreneur and every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish as have those in Greece, we will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.
And fifth, we will champion SMALL businesses, America’s engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business, not raising them. It means simplifying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small business the most. And it means that we must rein in the skyrocketing cost of healthcare by repealing and replacing Obamacare.
Today, women are more likely than men to start a business. They need a president who respects and understands what they do.
And let me make this very clear – unlike President Obama, I will not raise taxes on the middle class.
As president, I will protect the sanctity of life. I will honor the institution of marriage. And I will guarantee America's first liberty: the freedom of religion.
President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. MY promise...is to help you and your family.
I will begin my presidency with a jobs tour. President Obama began with an apology tour. America, he said, had dictated to other nations. No Mr. President, America has freed other nations from dictators.
Every American was relieved the day President Obama gave the order, and Seal Team Six took out Osama bin Laden. But on another front, every American is less secure today because he has failed to slow Iran's nuclear threat.
In his first TV interview as president, he said we should talk to Iran. We're still talking, and Iran’s centrifuges are still spinning.
President Obama has thrown allies like Israel under the bus, even as he has relaxed sanctions on Castro's Cuba. He abandoned our friends in Poland by walking away from our missile defense commitments, but is eager to give Russia's President Putin the flexibility he desires, after the election. Under my administration, our friends will see more loyalty, and Mr. Putin will see a little less flexibility and more
backbone.
We will honor America’s democratic ideals because a free world is a more peaceful world. This is the bipartisan foreign policy legacy of Truman and Reagan. And under my presidency we will return to it once again.
You might have asked yourself if these last years are really the America we want, the America won for us by the greatest generation.
Does the America we want borrow a trillion dollars from China? No. Does it fail to find the jobs that are needed for 23 million people and for half the kids graduating from college? No. Are its schools lagging behind the rest of the developed world? No. And does the America we want succumb to resentment and division? We know the answer.
The America we all know has been a story of the many becoming one, uniting to preserve liberty, uniting to build the greatest economy in the world, uniting to save the world from unspeakable darkness.
Everywhere I go in America, there are monuments that list those who have given their lives for America. There is no mention of their race, their party affiliation, or what they did for a living. They lived and died under a single flag, fighting for a single purpose. They pledged allegiance to the UNITED States of America.
That America, that united America, can unleash an economy that will put Americans back to work, that will once again lead the world with innovation and productivity, and that will restore every father and mother's confidence that their children's future is brighter even than the past.
That America, that united America, will preserve a military that is so strong, no nation would ever dare to test it.
That America, that united America, will uphold the constellation of rights that were endowed by our Creator, and codified in our Constitution.
That united America will care for the poor and the sick, will honor and respect the elderly, and will give a helping hand to those in need.
That America is the best within each of us. That America we want for ourchildren.
If I am elected President of these United States, I will work with all my energy and soul to restore that America, to lift our eyes to a better future. That future is our destiny. That future is out there. It is waiting for us. Our children deserve it, our nation depends upon it, the peace and freedom of the world require it. And with your help we will deliver it. Let us begin that future together tonight.
