DOJs Operation Choke Point Choked Off Business for Gun Sellers: Congress Defunded

The U.S. House determined that the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Operation Choke Point was cutting off "legitimate businesses from their banking lines." Rather than acting as an anti-fraud program, Holder was using Choke Point to keep programs "objectionable" to the administration, from receiving ordinary banking services. Steps to defund the program, through an amendment to the DOJ appropriations bill, passed in the House. Among the main targets of Operation Choke Point are gun and ammo merchants. Nothing is more "objectionable" to the DOJ than the Second Amendment, unless it's white males.

Rep. Darrell Issa said Operation Choke Point is the DOJ's "newest abuse of power:"
“If the administration believes some businesses should be out of business, they should prosecute them before a judge and jury. By forcibly conscripting banks to do their bidding, the Justice Department has avoided any review and any check on their power.” Source: Washington Times
The owner of Powderhorn Outfitters in Massachusetts says after 20 years of perfect financial dealings with TD Bank, they were denied a loan, "not because of our credit...just because we sell guns -- and they said that to us specifically...."
Powderhorn Outfitters, which sells firearms, archery gear and fishing equipment in Hyannis, Massachusetts, posted in an online forum this week that its longtime bank — TD Bank — had suddenly dropped its account.
TD Bank does not support the Second Amendment and has contacted us here at the Powderhorn to say that due to our involvement in firearms sales, we as a business are no longer welcome to have an account at their bank,” the sporting goods store posted on northeastshooters.com, an online forum for shooting enthusiasts in New England states. “They classify us in the same gray area as the local weed shops sprouting up on the Cape.” Source: Washington Times
The United States Consumer Coalition was formed to fight Operation Choke Point.
“They’re targeting various industries, using banks as the weapon of choice.”
“They’re targeting various industries, using banks as the weapon of choice.”
In January 2014, in the same article linked, is a portion of letter from Issa and Congressman Jim Jordan:
“extraordinary breadth of the [Justice] Department’s dragnet prompts concern that the true goal of Operation Choke Point is not to cut off actual fraudsters’ access to the financial system but rather to eliminate legal financial services to which the Department objects,”..
"Defunding" government is a constitutional weapon the House should should have put to use at least three years ago.

Trayvon's America

A jury of 6 women listened to testimony from witnesses for over a month.  They digested the information, the evidence, and came to the conclusion that George Zimmerman acted in Self-Defense.  Not once was "Stand Your Ground" brought up.

What we are seeing is so-called Black Leaders (Race Baiters) seeing a way to raise money, to gain new government programs and try a form of gun control, have been stirring up the semi-literate black population and get them to riot.  The trouble is that the local police haven't gotten the word and keep stopping them from rioting.

Blacks will not be happy until George Zimmerman is hung, drawn and quartered.  The Federal government will find a liar to bring up racial charges against Mr. Zimmerman.

I wonder what would happen if White people started to riot?

ACTION ALERT--DOJ Wants Emails With Anti-Zimmerman Tips: Show Them Conservatives Are Good Americans-Send an Email!

Hat Tip to Yid With Lid

The Department of Justice has no evidence that George Zimmerman is a racist so they are asking the American Public for help in tracking down and persecuting the neighborhood watch man found innocent of murder Saturday evening.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Monday afternoon appealed to civil rights groups and community leaders, nationally and in Sanford, for help investigating whether a federal criminal case might be brought against George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, one advocate said.
The DOJ has also set up a public email address to take in tips on its civil rights investigation.
According to Barbara Arnwine, president and executive director the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law-- she joined a U.S. Department of Justice conference call to discuss the prospects.
“They were calling on us to actively refer anyone who had any information,” that might build a case against Zimmerman for either a civil rights violation or a hate crime, Arnwine said. “They said they would very aggressively investigate this case.”

Arnwine said the call was convened at about 3:30 p.m. by Tom Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, and included representatives from the FBI, and several federal prosecutors, she said. DOJ officials also said they would open a public email address so people could send in tips on the case.
That email address, which is now in operation, is Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov

Folks allow me to suggest we act like good Americans. Since there is no evidence that Mr. Zimmerman is a racist..send them a tip.  Please send mail to that address, send them some suggestions, like George Zimmerman pooped in his diaper when he was one or he stole the purple crayon in kindergarten, maybe even that he came up with the idea for Sharnado.  Or if you wish send them ideas of other people to investigate for civil rights violations, the IRS or even that they should investigate Eric Holder for fast and furious.

If you have two emails…send them a tip from each!

My ultimate hope is that we flood the Email address with so many Emails  they have to close it. Then the closure can become a story of the "people" fighting the government . Whether one believes the verdict was just or not this is another big government over-reach...so let's show it

Prove to the  DOJ that we are are good Americans! Here are just a few suggestions:

I think I heard one time that George Zimmerman only left a 13% tip at a Denny's. I think I also heard the server was white!
Investigate Benghazi
Investigate Fast & Furious
Investigate the IRS
Investigate the NSA
Investigate the AP/Rosen thing
Investigate Holder (For like five things)
Investigate Pigford
Investigate the Black Panthers' voter intimidation
Investigate Solyndra
Investigate Obama's end runs around Congress for appointments, wars and laws.

A List Of The President's 23 Gun Control Executive Orders

Hat tip to Yid With Lid

In case you missed it--Below is the list of all 23 Executive Orders regarding gun control issued by Obama today. One thing the POTUS missed...there is no executive order preventing the Federal Government from selling weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels...everyone would support that one.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health
If your doctor starts to question you about the guns you might have (or not have), the best answer to his/her question is:
"None of your damn business!"
It is not within your doctor's business about what you legally own.  Notice that the President doesn't want the doctor to ask how many video games you have and what type you play.  Or what movies you want.

If you are a doctor forget about asking this question.  It is none of your business.  Care for the physical problems of your patents and leave the rest alone.

Why is it that these idiots believe that it is the clips of ammo that cause the problem?  I have seen men and women change clips so fast that it didn't matter how many bullets were in the clip.

And 7 bullets is a recipe for disaster.  While the 2nd Amendment is not about hunting, I will bring this up.  I know hunters who have been treed by bears, mountain lions, etc...  7 bullets will not stop a determine carnivore.  In fact, 7 bullets will not bring down a Moose.  So much for allowing hunters to hunt.

The President will not be happy until he disarms every American.  Like every dictator he needs the American people to be disarmed so they cannot rise up and stop him.

KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY!!!!!!
