Are the last words of the Presidential Oath of Office that every President since George Washington took and swore by. Until now.  For today Barack Hussein Obama is formally signing the surrender of the United States to any and all foreign powers who attack this nation with a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

President Obama, fresh off the announcement of agreement with Russia to reduce nuclear arms stockpiles, plans to unveil a nuclear weapons strategy Tuesday that will limit the United States' potential uses of such weapons -- even in self defense.

Obama, in an interview Monday with the New York Times, said he would make an exception for "outliers like Iran and North Korea" in revamping the United States' nuclear strategy.

With the new approach, Obama sees the United States leading by example in efforts to reduce the proliferation of nuclear weapons and eventually make them obsolete, the president told the Times, signaling a clear break with his predecessors on the issue.

Instead, threats could be dealt with by "a series of graded options," he said, combining old and new conventional weapons.

"I'm going to preserve all the tools that are necessary in order to make sure that the people are safe and secure," Obama told the Times.

Right. By teaching them to sing Kumbaya? With this idiotic idea no one in the US will ever be safe again!The Obama administration plans to urge Russia to return to the bargaining table following Senate ratification of the new START arms reduction treaty, to be signed by Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Prague on Thursday.

The White House hopes to overcome Russia's expressed reluctance to move beyond START, especially if it means cutting Moscow's arsenal of tactical, or short-range nuclear arms.

These so-called theater nuclear weapons play a key role in Russia's overall defense strategy and are regarded in Moscow as an important bargaining chip on security issues.

The timing of a planned U.S. push for new, broader arms talks with Russia is uncertain. But officials said the proposal would only come after U.S. and Russian legislative approval of the new START pact, which isn't expected until the end of this year.

The Russian parliament is almost certain to sign off on any deal negotiated by the Kremlin, but the U.S. Senate's ratification of the new START treaty is far from a sure thing.

Obama is hosting dozens of world leaders in a nuclear security summit in Washington next week.

One senior administration official told the Associated Press that the U.S. wants another round of talks between the White House and the Kremlin that would include so-called "non-deployed" nuclear weapons -- the thousands of warheads on both sides that are held in reserve and not ready for immediate use.

I for one know that the United States has remained safe and secure because our enemies knew that if they attacked us, we would wipe them off the face of the Earth!  Now they just laugh at us.

The Kool-Aid drinking, Kumbaya singing, Moonbats who support this sorry excuse for sitting US President will love this new idea from their God!

How Is It That The Somalis Can...

Catch a terrorist using the same type of bomb that was used by the Underware bomber, and the West can't?

A man tried to board a commercial airliner in Mogadishu last month carrying powdered chemicals, liquid and a syringe that could have caused an explosion in a case bearing chilling similarities to the terrorist plot to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner, officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The Somali man - whose name has not yet been released - was arrested by African Union peacekeeping troops before the Nov. 13 Daallo Airlines flight took off. It had been scheduled to travel from Mogadishu to the northern Somali city of Hargeisa, then to Djibouti and Dubai. A Somali police spokesman, Abdulahi Hassan Barise, said the suspect is in Somali custody.

"We don't know whether he's linked with al-Qaida or other foreign organizations, but his actions were the acts of a terrorist. We caught him red-handed," said Barise.

A Nairobi-based diplomat said the incident in Somalia is similar to the attempted attack on the Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day in that the Somali man had a syringe, a bag of powdered chemicals and liquid - tools similar to those used in the Detroit attack. The diplomat spoke on condition he not be identified because he isn't authorized to release the information.

Barigye Bahoku, the spokesman for the African Union military force in Mogadishu, said the chemicals from the Somali suspect could have caused an explosion that would have caused air decompression inside the plane. However, Bahoku said he doesn't believe an explosion would have brought the plane down.

A second international official familiar with the incident, also speaking on condition of anonymity because he isn't authorized to discuss the case, confirmed that the substances carried by the Somali passenger could have been used as an explosive device.

In the Detroit case, alleged attacker Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab hid explosive PETN in a condom or condom-like bag just below his torso when he traveled from Amsterdam to Detroit. Like the captured Somali, Abdulmutallab also had a syringe filled with liquid. The substances seized from the Somali passenger are being tested.

The November incident garnered little attention before the Dec. 25 attack aboard a flight on final approach to Detroit. US officials have now learned of the Somali case and are hastening to investigate any possible links between it and the Detroit attack, though no officials would speak on the record about the probe.

US investigators said Abdulmutallab told them he received training and instructions from al-Qaida operatives in Yemen - which lies across the Gulf of Aden fromSomalia. Similarly, large swaths of Somalia are controlled by an insurgent group, al-Shabab, which has ties to al-Qaida.

Western officials say many of the hundreds of foreign jihadi fighters in Somalia come in small boats across the Gulf of Aden from Yemen. The officials also say that examination of equipment used in some Somali suicide attacks leads them to believe it was originally assembled in Yemen.

Law enforcement officials believe the suspect in the Detroit incident tried to ignite a two-part concoction of the high explosive PETN and possibly a glycol-based liquid explosive, setting off popping, smoke and some fire but no deadly detonation. Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian national, is charged with trying to destroy an aircraft.

A Somali security official involved in the capture of the suspect in Mogadishu said he had a 1-kilogram (2.2-pound) package of chemical powder and a container of liquid chemicals. The security official said the suspect was the last passenger to try to board.

Once security officials detected the powder chemicals and syringe, the suspect tried to bribe the security team that detained him, the Somali security official said. The security official said the suspect had a white shampoo bottle with a black acid-like substance in it. He also had a clear plastic bag with a light green chalky substance and a syringe containing a green liquid. The security official spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to release the information.

The powdered material had the strong scent of ammonia, Bahoku said, and samples have been sent to London for testing.

The Somali security officials said the Daallo Airlines flight was scheduled to go from Mogadishu to Hargeisa, to Djibouti and then to Dubai.

A spokeswoman for Daallo Airlines said that company officials weren't aware of the incident and would have to seek more information before commenting. Daallo Airlines is based in Dubai and has offices in Djibouti and France.

Perhaps Janet Napolitano, Director of Homeland Security, former Governor of Arizona who said:  "The system worked." immediately after not only it didn't, but was totally ineffective in stopping terrorist attacks, should learn from the Somalis how to stop a terrorist from boarding a plane.

The Somalis weren't looking for US veterans, those opposed to abortions and illegal immigrants, or those who wish to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.  They were looking for Muslim men between the ages of 18 to 50.  And for a good reason: 90% of all hijackers since 1965 have been Muslim men between 18-50.

This is called profiling.  And it works!  If 90% of hijackers were little old ladies from Pasadena, then those women should be profiled!  But the minute you do this, CAIR, the ACLU, and the rest of the Moonbat leftist elites scream:  "RACISM!!"

I would rather be a live racist in their eyes than killed by Political Correctness!

It has been almost one year since Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President.  And almost a full year of his foreign policy trying to reestablish good relations with the Muslim world kissing and apologizing to Muslims for the fact the US still hasn't adopted Shar'ia Law and establish Islam as its state religion.

Even after that, Muslims still don't love the US, and never will.

Homeland Security: In a sign background checks are far too lax, an alarming number of Arabs and Muslims have landed sensitive government jobs only to be caught later spying for the enemy.

Guarding against penetration by terrorist agents and sympathizers should be a top concern of public agencies, but it's not. Guarding against charges of job discrimination is.

Multiculturalism and political correctness have made it easier for the terrorists to use Arabs and Muslims to infiltrate the government and steal security secrets.

In the latest example, a former city 911 operator faces multiple felony counts for allegedly searching the names of friends and relatives on the FBI's terrorist watch list.

Nadire P. Zenelaj, an ethnic Albanian, says she's being singled out because she is Muslim. "I feel they targeted me because of my religion," she said.

No, she was investigated for looking up classified information on her confederates. At least one of the 227 names she checked was on the terrorist watch list, according to Rochester, N.Y., police.

A D.C.-area cop recently was convicted of doing the same thing.

Federal prosecutors say Fairfax County Police Sgt. Weiss Rasool, an Afghan immigrant, tipped off a fellow mosque member that he was under FBI investigation. When agents went to arrest the terrorist target early one morning they found him and his family already dressed and destroying evidence. They knew they had a mole and worked back through the system to find Rasool.

Thanks to post-9/11 data-sharing, local police like Rasool — as well as first responders like Zenelaj — now have access to classified FBI files on terror suspects maintained with the NCIC, or National Crime Information Center system.

Prosecutors said Rasool's actions "damaged the integrity of the NCIC system and jeopardized at least one federal investigation."

That's not all. In May, the Energy Department had to revoke the security clearance of an Egyptian-born nuclear physicist because of "conflicting allegiances." The FBI questioned Moniem El-Ganayni, also a Muslim prison chaplain, for allegedly inciting inmates to carry out jihad against the U.S., charges he denies.

Still, such questioning should've taken place before El-Ganayni got access to nuclear secrets. It's likely his extracurricular activities would have been enough of a red flag to bar his employment.

Same goes for an EPA toxicologist who turned out to be an al-Qaida fundraiser.

Waheeda Tehseen would never have been hired at all if the feds hadn't cut corners on her background check. Not only did Tehseen's husband work for Pakistani intelligence, but she lied about her U.S. citizenship on her government application. EPA missed it.

Then there's the case of Hezbollah spy Nadia Prouty. The Lebanese immigrant also lied about her citizenship and was hired anyway by both the FBI and CIA.

The good news is, these moles were caught. But they should have been screened out before they could ever get in and do damage.

A note from Monkey in the Middle

When I was in the Air Force over 30 years ago I held a top secret security clearance. A fact that I am proud of. To receive this clearance my background was gone over with a fine tooth comb. Every aspect of my life was checked out from teachers, to friends, to relatives, to even the organizations I had belonged to. Then a full background check was conducted on my parents. My parents friends and co-workers were questioned. The organizations they had belonged to were checked out (Dad was a member of the American Legion and a fanatical anti-Communist).

It took months for my clearance to be approved.

This is what needs to be done now. A full background check on all, not just Muslim, applicants to sensitive jobs. Moles are not just Muslims, but members of criminal gangs trying to either infiltrate law enforcement or receive military training. The old rules must be reinstated and strictly enforced.

The security of the nation is at stake!
