Jackson Out!

What voters refuse to do, Jesse Jackson Jr. did himself.  Citing his "health" problems, he resigned from the US House of Representatives effective today.
Illinois Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned Wednesday from Congress amid a cloud of health and legal problems that have intensified in recent months.

The nine-term congressman left Washington unexpectedly in June, leaving fellow Capitol Hill lawmakers, his staff and voters to learn several weeks later that he was being treated for a bipolar disorder.

In Jackson’s resignation letter to House Speaker John Boehner, he cited both health problems and a federal investigation.

“For seventeen years I have given 100 percent of my time, energy and life to public service. However, over the past several months, as my health has deteriorated, my ability to serve the constituents of my district has continued to diminish,” Jackson wrote. “I am aware of the ongoing federal investigation into my activities and I am doing my best to address the situation responsibly, cooperate with the investigators, and accept responsibility for my mistakes, for they are my mistakes and mine alone.”

A Boehner spokesman confirmed the letter had been received on Capitol Hill.

Jackson, the son of civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, was easily re-elected earlier this month despite not having appeared in public since this summer.

The federal investigation is purportedly focusing on whether Jackson misused campaign money.

In addition, the House Ethics Committee has been looking into whether Jackson was involved in discussions about raising money for imprisoned former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's campaign in exchange for an appointment to President Obama's vacated Senate seat.

However, Jackson’s resignation would effectively end the House probe, though members will issue a final report.

Jacksons’ resignation means the 112th Congress that ends next month has 241 Republicans and 192 Democrats. The other vacancy is Rep. Dennis Cardoza, a California Democrat who resigned in August.

Jackson came to Congress in a special election in Dec. 1995 to succeed another embattled Illinois Democratic congressman, Rep. Mel Reynolds. He went to jail for sex misconduct chargers and resigned several months before the special election.

The 47-year-old Jackson defeated five Democrats and Four Republicans in the primary and then won the special election.

Jackson never ran a campaign this last election season.  He was reelected in a "Black" district and it was his "name" that reelected him, not any work in Congress that he did for his constituents.  No he is a Jackson and thus "entitled" to whatever he wants.  The federal investigation has been focused on this use of campaign funds to buy new furniture for his home, his mistress' home, his wife's office, etc...

Now is the time to place a decent, hardworking man or woman in that seat.  Whether it is a Democrat or Republican is not the point, what the people of the 2nd district of Illinois need is a decent representative.

Boehner MUST GO!

Stolen From Hat Tip to Patriot's Corner

- House of Rep Twitter and Phone contact list -

For God and Country - PLEASE use it, post it often!

If I am correct, we only have 16 days left in this session to do anything!

After the election I found this quote which was meant obviously for Democrats. "Do not blame George Bush for what’s coming next or four years from now when you no longer recognize this great nation."
*
You and I know that while the above is true, the tsunami to hit this country is much nearer than four years from now. Mid term elections in two years will be too late because the Speaker of the House less than one week after elections is already caving to Obama's will.
*
The conservative fight is far from over! We MUST work on getting John Boehner removed from his cave-in seat. In the meantime, he must be put on notice - NOW - that if he has any possibility of retaining that sweet spot he best back what the conservatives (50% of America) still stand for!
*
Boehner has plenty of time between now and January 3 (the date the House picks Speaker for the next session) to do irreparable damage. When asked last weekend on some talk show if he planned to push for repeal of Obamacare, he responded "the election changes that" and Obamacare is the law of the land." Bullhonkey!
*
In my opinion, Eric Rush got it right in this statement about Republicans and voter fraud which translates to any issue we face - from his article - Did Civil War Just Become Inevitable? - The failure of the Republican leadership to pursue an investigation of the balloting almost suggests what some Americans have asserted for years. These folks are almost completely disenfranchised politically, and are regarded as fringe dwellers, even by most conservatives. Their assertion being that for many years, the job of the Republican leadership has essentially been to run interference for the Democrats’ advancement of socialism. Why? Because the interests of the power brokers on both sides transcend parties. They have decided that America – and probably the world, eventually – will be an oligarchical collective, a global slave state managed by narcissistic elites whose nests have long since been feathered.
*
Face it, Boehner in very short order is making every vote in the House irrelevant and we must put a stop to it/him!
*
To that end I have put together a list of the members of the House of Representatives. It is incomplete, but it has about 70% of the Republican twitter addresses, hot linked, and ALL phone numbers. I will have the list completed (excluding waste of time D's) by tonight or tomorrow but it is VERY usable right this minute. We must burn up the phone lines and write these Congress critters and tell them - FOR THE LOVE OF THIS COUNTRY - GET JOHN BOEHNER IN LINE - NOW!

It Is Over!

That is the election.  Now comes the harder part of governing.  Barack Hussein Obama running one of the dirtiest campaigns in history, has pulled out a victory over Willard "Mitt" Romney.  We will have 4 more years of Obama, his spending spree, his destruction of our military, his executive orders, etc.  4 more years in which he will try to turn us into Greece and instill into us an Nanny State.

We can stop him and the Democrats cold!

We need to remind our Congressmen that they hold the purse strings.  That they need to keep a tight control on the purse strings.  Make sure they do not raise the debt ceiling any more.  Insist on a budget.   We have power.  The phone, email, letters.  Inundate their offices with messages.  Remind them of the power of the ballot box and what happened in 2010.  We will keep their feet to the fire!  The TEA Party will be back and stronger than before.

This nation is  236 years old.  We have survived 2 wars with Great Britain, 1 Civil War, 1 War with the Indians, 1 War with Mexico, 1 War with Spain, 2 World Wars, 1 War with Korea, 1 War in Vietnam, 2 Wars in the Gulf, a multitudes of depressions, recessions, economic bubbles, 9/11, multiple scandals, and bad Presidents.

WE WILL SURVIVE OBAMA TOO!!!!

That I promise you.  That I swear we will do!

Remember that and get ready to raise Hell!

These Colors Don't Run!!!

Revenge Of The Jews!

What started with Scott Brown and Chris Christie, blossomed into the TEA Party and the GOP take over of the House of Representatives, and now this.
NEW YORK – Republicans have scored an upset victory in a New York City House race that became a referendum on President Barack Obama's economic policies.

Retired media executive and political novice Bob Turner defeated Democratic state Assemblyman David Weprin (WEHP'-rihn) in a special election Tuesday to succeed Rep. Anthony Weiner, a seven-term Democrat who resigned in June after a sex texting scandal.

The heavily Democratic district spanning parts of Queens and Brooklyn had never sent a Republican to the House. But frustration with the continued weak national economy gave Republicans the edge.

Turner has vowed to bring business practicality to Washington and push back on spending and taxes.

The 9th is a Blue Collar neighborhood.  It is considered the home of Archie Bunker.  Yet since 1923 it has voted Democrat.  Until today.  Today this Jewish-Italian neighborhood made a bold statement about Barack Hussein Obama and his policies both foreign and domestic.

If the 9th goes, will the state of New York be next?  We can now state very plainly that the beginning of Obama's reign has ended and his removal from office will now begin.

What A Difference A Day Makes! UPDATED

It was just 24 hours ago when President Obama and the Democrats held both the Executive and Legislative branches of the US Government.  Plus with many Governorships going to Tea Party endorsed candidates, it has been a good night for the Republican Party.
