We awoke this morning (PST) to the news that French police finally killed Mohammed Merah in Toulouse in a final assault. Again, I am linking the live blog from the UK Telegraph courtesy of Vlad Tepes, which seems to be the most informative at this point.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/9157126/Toulouse-siege-live.html
The police, of course, wanted to take Merah alive to see if others were involved. It is highly possible others were. Thus, this death is not the end of a tragic story. Aside from the above question, France, Europe and all of us have some serious introspection to do. This will not be the last atrocity committed against innocent Jews in the West.
This is largely the result of the intense and well-organized demonization of Israel by Palestinians and their useful idiots in the West. This is what it has led to. Forget this phony differentiation between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. The former is merely a cover for the latter.
The Western media, particularly in Europe, has also played a role. They have adopted the Palestinians as their pet victim and contributed to the demonization of Israel. They have downplayed or ignored the anti-Semitic harassment against Jews played out on European streets because they didn't want to condemn their restive, unassimilated Muslim immigrants. Malmo, Sweden is a prime example, where the old Jewish community is leaving because they can't take it anymore. The mayor says, "Goodbye and good riddance" to them because he hates Israel. What Malmo has left is a 25% Muslim population that riots on a more or less regular basis.
Other cities like Paris and Oslo have entire neighborhoods and suburbs where the police don't even go-so-called "No-go zones". European cities, once noted for their safety in contrast with American cities, are now awash in crime, assaults, and rapes.
I have been amazed that the US News media has not given the Toulouse atrocity the attention it deserved-in marked contrast to Europe. The affair has truly rocked France to its core, and to a lesser extent Europe as well. In fact, if you wanted to follow the events, instead of the main stream US media, you had to go to French/European sources including blogs. Once again, the blogs are doing the media's work for them.
There is an article that has been going around the Internet for a few years now by someone identified as Sebastain Vilar Rodriguez entitled, "European life ended in Auschwitz". This person is believed to be fictitious, but the words are thought-provoking. He talks about how Spain and Europe have gotten rid of their Jews-the ones who were contributors to their societies and replaced them with an unassimilated mass of Muslim immigrants, many of whom contribute nothing but crime as they collect benefits from the government and spit on the host country's culture and values. Hateful? Sure. Unfair to the Muslims in Europe who don't cause problems? Sure. But the truth has to be faced squarely. Europe has a massive problem on its hands that will overwhelm them in a couple of decades if the demographic trend continues. It is not a matter of white vs brown. It is a matter of combating not only rising crime, but hatred that manifests itself in what we saw in Toulouse. It is a matter of Europe not only maintaining its identity, but its freedoms as well. Behind all this social train wreck and lack of assimilation is a political ideology/religion that makes no differentiation between religion and state. It has disdain for the freedoms that Europeans exercise, which they think (rightly in some cases) is decadent. Decadent it may be, but it is part of our personal freedoms that may not be in conformance with any religion. A free society does not make its laws conforming strictly to religion.
But what to do? Does Europe throw up its hands and say it is too late? How do you say to an entire population of immigrants that you are not welcome here and should leave? Europe also shares part of the blame in that when they brought all these workers into their countries to do the manual labor they didn't want to do, they didn't care about assimilating them. Then came the so-called political refuges. Now the chickens have come home to roost. Now they are dealing with grown up children of immigrants who hold citizenship-as did Merah-but don't feel themselves European.
But it has gotten worse than merely lack of assimilation. Now Europeans are seeing their children massacred for no reason-other than they are Jewish. What kind of sick mentality shoots a three-year-old child in the head just because she is Jewish? It is the same sick mentality that was on display a year ago in Itamar when a Palestinian massacred an entire family in its home including slitting the throat of a months-old infant in its crib.
We have no need for this type of mentality in a free and civilized nation.
But the question is not yet answered. What to do?
The prime ministers of the UK, France and Germany have all admitted in recent years that assimilation has failed in their countries. A few years ago, the prime minister of Australia told the Muslim community that if they were not willing to accept Australian values, they should leave. It is time for Europe to send that same message. It is time for the Western leaders to hold a summit with Middle East leaders and tell them as politely as possible that until this madness passes from history, more Muslim immigrants cannot be accepted.
This is not a call for Europeans to start rounding up innocent Muslims and shipping them home en masse. It does seem reasonable to begin the process of deporting those non-citizens who are on the public dole and/or have been identified as radicals or criminals.
Here in the US, we have enjoyed remarkably more success with our Muslim immigrants in that most came here as part of the educated class. The problem here is nothing like it is in Europe. But there is concern. We have seen plots thwarted that involved American Muslims. There is a radical element among our college youth. We also have so-called main stream organizations like CAIR claiming to represent American Muslims. What they really represent is stealth jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas-for starters. Most American Muslims are not of concern, but they are still viewed with suspicion. It is unfortunate, but the suspicion has a basis in fact.
It is a harsh message that needs to be sent, and law-abiding Muslims who came to the West to escape sharia and live a better life in freedom will be hurt. Nonetheless, the message has to be: Assimilate, respect our traditions, our laws, our freedoms, our plurality, and leave your hatreds at home. There will be no sharia in the US or anywhere else in the West. If that is the life you prefer-to live under Islamic law- then you know where you can go.
It is time for the West to stand up and deliver that message.

Muslim Persecution of Christians: February 2012
Half of Iraq's indigenous Christians are gone, due to the unleashed forces of jihad [holy war]. Many Christians fled to nearby Syria; yet, as the Assad regime comes under attack from al-Qaeda and others, the jihad now seeps into Syria, where Christians are experiencing a level of persecution unprecedented in the nation's modern history. Similarly, some 100,000 Christian Copts have fled their native Egypt since the overthrow of the Mubarak regime; and in northern regions of Nigeria, where the jihadi group, Boko Haram, has been slaughtering Christians, up to 95% of the Christian population has fled.
Meanwhile, the "big news" concerning the Muslim world in the month of February—the news that flooded the mainstream media and had U.S. politicians, beginning with President Obama, flustered, angry, and full of regret—was that some written-in [in Islam it is forbidden to write anything in a Korans] in Afghanistan were burned by U.S. soldiers because imprisoned Muslim inmates had been using them "to facilitate extremist communications."
Categorized by theme, February's batch of Muslim persecution of Christians around the world includes (but is not limited to) the following accounts, listed in alphabetical order by country, not severity.

Hat tip to Norway, Israel and the Jews
There is a great article today in Norway, Israel and the Jews. The Norwegian press is reporting that Palestinian Authority Minister Salem Fayyad is pleading with jihadidsts world-wide not to attribute their actions to the Palestinian cause. That is his own way of "condemning" the atrocity in Toulouse. In the post, you can watch the video of their Grand Mufti recently referring to the Jews as apes and pigs and quoting that well known hadith-you know the little ditty that talks about the tree telling the Muslim "there is a Jew hiding behind me-come and kill him". And don't accept that line they tell you about it not being an authentic hadith, as I have heard one Orange County imam explain. It has been authenticated by the Bukhari and Muslim collections, two of the most "respected" Islamic authorities out there as the mufti explains in the video. Follow the links and watch the video of the 2009 anti-Jewish riots in Oslo.
http://www.israelwhat.com/2012/03/21/toulouse-fallout-palestinian-damage-control-pa-pm-fayyad-keep-the-palestinian-cause-separate/
This is so typical of the double-talk we have become used to hearing. The real message is clear; go and kill the Jews wherever you can find them. Just keep our names out of it.
When this is all said and done, there is blood on many hands in Europe. That includes the news medias of countries like France, Norway and Sweden that have engaged in an orgy of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel reportage over the years that has placed a modern yellow star on the chests of their own Jews as they ignored or downplayed assaults against Jews on their own streets and tolerated vandalized Jewish cemeteries and synagogues- all in the name of tolerance.
I wonder how our own American school textbooks (just this week exposed by Act for America) are going to explain this latest horror away for the 7th-graders. Don't answer that; I know. They will ignore it.

Sanctions On Iran? Not Really!
Sanctions? What sanctions? For sanctions to work everybody, every nation must be on board. But to Barack Hussein Obama sanctions are only to be carried out by others, not the US, not 11 of our "friends".
The United States is offering some breathing room in its seemingly ironclad set of sanctions against Iran, underscoring the difficulty the U.S. and other countries may have in truly freezing out the Iranian regime. If Barack Hussein Obama really wanted sanctions to work then there would be no exemptions. What this tells the world, tells Israel is that we will stab the Jews in the back to accommodate Europe and Japan. They must not suffer and who really cares if 7 million Israelis are wiped out. They are only Jews after all. His Pastor Jeremiah Wright will be very proud.
The State Department on Tuesday announced exemptions for 11 countries from the newly passed economic sanctions expected to hit Iran's financial and energy sectors.
By summer, the U.S. is expected to penalize nations that make oil purchases through Iran's central bank unless they can show they've made a significant reduction in their Iranian oil supply.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced Tuesday that the 11 countries -- 10 European Union nations, as well as Japan -- had met that test.
"The actions taken by these countries were not easy," Clinton said. "They had to rethink their energy needs at a critical time for the world economy and quickly begin to find alternatives to Iranian oil, which many had been reliant on for their energy needs."
While the announcement demonstrates that these countries have started to cut back on their Iranian oil purchases, it also ensures that for now those countries will not have to pull out of the Iranian market entirely.
At the same time, the United States is allowing for the export of food, medicine and related products to Iran, under a long-established exemption for humanitarian items.
And that trade has spiked in recent weeks, with Iran buying wheat from the United States for the first time in three years.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. companies have sold 180,000 tons of the staple crop to Iran in the past month.
Jerry Norton, a grains analyst with the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board, said it appears Iran is conducting the rare trade with the U.S. after running into problems purchasing grains from its usual suppliers due to weather issues.
The United States, he said, is a "last resort in many instances" for Iran.
Norton said Iran may have blown through some of its own grain supplies by feeding it to livestock. Asked whether the regime is stockpiling food to prepare for the impact of sanctions, Norton said: "It's hard to know what the Iranians are truly doing."
The transactions, though, raise questions about how effective selective sanctions can truly be.
"If the U.S. isn't prepared to be really tough, how can we expect anyone else to be?" John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told FoxNews.com in an email. "This is one reason among many why obsessing about sanctions as a remedy is ultimately illusory, misguided and self-defeating."
Bolton said the U.S. should cut off food sales to Iran, but he questioned what other transactions are still allowed despite sanctions -- and whether new restrictions would ultimately deter Iran's nuclear ambitions.
A Treasury Department official said the wheat exports are allowed under a longstanding provision "that lowers the barriers for exporters to ship food to Iran."
"The recent sanctions imposed on Iran have not changed our approach to the export of food, medicine and medical devices to Iran," the official said.
The U.S. also exported corn to Iran in 2011, and soybeans in 2010.
The Treasury Department on Tuesday also announced revised rules allowing the export of certain software to Iran.
The announcement stressed that the goal is to support the "free flow of information" to Iranians, at a time when the regime uses "an electronic curtain that prevents the Iranian people from communicating with the outside world." The clarified rules authorized basic applications like Skype, Google Talk and Acrobat.
President Obama stressed the importance of online communication services during a videotaped message to the Iranian people marking the Iranian holiday of Nowruz.
The administration has tried to distinguish between the Iranian regime and the Iranian people governed by the regime.
The announcement Tuesday by the State Department reflected the latest phase of a careful diplomatic effort to implement the new round of unilateral sanctions while giving leeway to countries that weren't necessarily prepared for them.
Some of the United States' closest allies -- including Japan, South Korea and India -- import a considerable amount of their oil supply from Iran.
India and South Korea were not on the latest list of exempted countries.

Obama To Classify Corned Beef And Cabbage As Bio-Fuel
In an exclusive report from Newsbusted Anchor Jodi Miller we learn that two that President Obama and his EPA are at it again. This time in an obvious political stunt to get the Iris vote, the President has decided to name the St. Patrick's day staple, corned beef and cabbage as a bio fuel. Word is he will also go after the Jewish vote by declaring their traditional gas inducing food as bio fuel also. Some day you may have a piece of kishke fueling your car (if you don't know what kishke is--taste it before you find out).
Along with that story other news items covered in the latest installment of Newsbusted the twice-weekly faux news feature from Newsbusters.org include the president's apology to the PM of Great Britain, ITunes unusual classification of Obama's new campaign video, Rod Blagojevich's new political effort and much much more.

Prayers Needed
For the people of Mexico
A strong, long magnitude 7.6 earthquake with an epicenter in Guerrero state shook central southern Mexico on Tuesday, swaying buildings in Mexico City and sending frightened workers and residents into the streets.
The U.S. Geological Survey set the intensity at 7.6 and said the epicenter was 11 miles underground. Mexico's National Seismological Survey said the temblor had an epicenter southwest of Ometepec.Mexico City Mayor Marcelo Ebrard's Twitter account said the water system and other "strategic services" were not experiencing problems.
May they have a minimum of damage and no loss of life.

Meet Crystal!
Born of an domestic cat mother from vitro fertilization, Crystal is one of 10,000 African Black-Footed Cats. With only about 10,000 of them left in the wild, the African black-footed cat -- which gets its name from its "distinctive black foot pads" -- is listed as vulnerable to extinction by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.
Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species in Algiers, Louisiana logs another breakthrough in genetic engineering of endangered cats. Crystal, a rare African black-footed kitten was born on February 6, 2012 to a domestic housecat without any human assistance in the birth itself. Crystal exhibits all the characteristics of a black-footed cat despite being nurtured by a domestic cat mother.
In a breakthrough for the assisted reproduction of endangered species, Crystal, an African black-footed cat, was born early last month at the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species in New Orleans, the Times-Picayune reports.
According to the paper, a domestic cat was the surrogate mother for the vitro fertilization which, according to acting director of the center Earle Pope, proves embryos of the endangered species can be successfully implanted into domestic cats.
"Being able to use domestic cats adds another extra dimension to that, being able to produce more," Pope told the Times-Picayune.
The African black-footed cat population is declining due to loss of habitat as well as a decline in population of the prey they hunt, according to the Associated Press.

May G-d Avenge Their Blood!
You go to pick up your children from school. A man on a moped stops, opens fire upon the students, then takes off. A massacre has occurred. And you know that the gunman will never be caught. This is what happened today in Toulouse, France.
Rabbi Sandler of Kiryat Yovel in Jerusalem and his sons Aryeh, 6, and Gavriel, 3.5, were murdered in Toulouse Monday morning, as was 8 year-old Miriam Monsonegro, daughter of the director of Ozar HaTorah Toulouse, Yaacov Monsonego.I will wager you that the gunman in this case is a Muslim, is in the pay of Iran, and that this is the start of a reign of terror to the Jewish people. In fact, former Counterterrorism Bureau chief Brig.-Gen. (res) Nitzan Nurielis warning Jewish institutions to beef up their security immediately.
Binyamin Toati, Head of the France Desk of Bnei Akiva, told Arutz Sheva before the names were published that there are reports that the man who was killed is a rabbi who served as an Israel shaliach (emissary) at the school and that two of his children were killed with him.
French press reported that two children were among at least three people killed in a shooting outside a Jewish school. Two other children are reported fighting for their lives. The French news reports said the dead are a teacher and two children, and that two other children were badly wounded.
They said a man opened fire on people waiting at a school drop-off point and then fled on a motorcycle. The gunman used two weapons – one with a caliber of 9mm, the second with a caliber of 11.43 mm. France's Interior Ministry ordered increased surveillance around Jewish schools, and Interior Minister Claude Gueant said he will visit the school on Monday morning.
The Chief Rabbi of France, Gilles Bernheim, said he was "horrified" by what happened in Toulouse. "I am bruised in my body and my soul," he added.
The shooting comes three days after three French paratroopers were shot dead by a man 30 km. from Toulouse. AP reported that two French paratroopers were shot in the town of Montauban, near Toulouse, on Friday, when a gunman on a black motorbike pulled up at a cash machine and opened fire. An 11.43 mm. weapon was used in that attack as well, according to the news reports.
Police saw a connection between those killings and to another deadly shooting of a soldier in Toulouse just over a week ago.

Israelis and Jews around the world are under a growing threat from Islamic terrorists and need to demand that local authorities provide better security, former Counterterrorism Bureau chief Brig.-Gen. (res) Nitzan Nuriel said Monday, hours after a gunman killed four people outside of a Jewish school in France.I fear that this is just the start of terror attacks on Jews around the world. And that these deaths are just the first of many more to come.
Nuriel told The Jerusalem Post that a coalition of jihadist organizations have made a decision to attack Israeli and Jewish targets wherever they may be without distinction. "They attack whoever they can and wherever security is lax," he said.
According to Nuriel, who stepped down from his post several months ago, Iran and terror groups are trying to deter Israel from taking action against them by carrying out these attacks overseas. He said it was possible that the attack against the school in France was not terror related, but he did draw a direct line between the recent spate of bombings plots in India Georgia, Thailand and Azerbaijan.
Nuriel urged Israelis who travel overseas to take extra precautions and to be more vigilant in the face of the terror threat.
"It makes no difference for the terrorist if the target is a representative of the Jewish Agency, an Israeli tourist or a local Jew," he stated.
When choosing accommodations abroad, Nuriel said that Israelis should not make the decision based solely on the quality of the hotel or hostel, but rather they should also take into consideration whether there is security at the facility or building.
Secondly, he said Israelis should not post pictures of their trips on Facebook and other social media websites, since photographs could then be used by terrorists to track them, as well as to identify targets frequented by large numbers of Israelis.

It gets worse. At the Orange County event, Baca and LAPD chief of the Counter-Terrorism Unit Michael Downing sat on a panel as the panelists, including Democrat congresswomen Maxine Waters, Loretta Sanchez and Judy Chu lambasted Republicans like Peter King and turned the event into a partisan political affair. Also singled out for criticism were the NYPD and FBI-all while Baca and Downing sat there silently.
Moreover, after the event, I spoke with Downing one-on-one and informed him that in 1992, the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, had spoken at the same mosque as a guest of head imam Muzammil Siddiqi and had given a sermon on violent jihad, which was interpreted in real time by Siddiqi. His response?
"Well, Gary, you know some people change over time."
When I mentioned the name of Zuhdi Jasser (mentioned in the Lugo article) to him as an example of a true moderate Muslim, he didn't even know who he was. He asked me if Jasser were connected to people like Steve Emerson and David Horowitz.

The 3 AM Phone Call
It will only be a matter of time before Barack Hussein Obama receives a 3 AM Phone Call from Bibi Netanyahu.
By Barry RubinI don't think that Netanyahu would give Obama that much notice. I believe that even a few hours notice would be enough for Obama to relate the facts of the attack to Iran. I believe he would be lucky to get a 12 second notice from Israel. And I don't believe that Israel will wait until after the November elections. I don't believe that they will wait until the summer. In fact, I don't believe that Obama will be re-elected.
“Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign is now on the air with an ad that directly responds to the `3 am phone call’ commercial launched by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in Texas earlier today. The commercial touts Obama’s `judgment and courage’ in opposing the Iraq war from the start and his clarity to see that the war distracted the country from rooting out terrorists in Afghanistan. `In a dangerous world, it’s judgment that matters,’ says the ad’s narrator.” – Washington Post, February 29, 2008.
The White House. 3AM. Some time in the future.
Ring! Ring!
“Michelle, can you get that?”
“Now, Barack you know you have to answer the phone when it rings at 3AM! After all, it might be Hillary and she’d tell everyone that you were….
“Ok, ok, but remember how well I answered that ad of hers! I reminded everyone that she voted for that inevitably losing war in Iraq while I wanted to quit because I knew the war was lost. Of course, that’s before I led the country to victory there….”
Ring! Ring!
“Hello? Yes, this is the president.”
“It’s me, Benjamin Netanyahu.”
“Bibi? Hi, old buddy, I was just telling Michelle that I really can stand you. Ha! Ha! (Winks at Michelle who rolls her eyes and goes back to sleep.) So what are you calling about at 3AM? I guess it’s 3AM in Israel, right?”
“No, Mr. President it is morning here. There’s a seven-hour time difference.”
“Oh, okay. What’s up?”
“Mr. President I just wanted to tell you that our planes are about to take off and bomb Iran’s nuclear installations just as you recommended.”
“What? You’re going to bomb Iran! What gave you that idea?”
“You did, Mr. President. Let me explain. You see, Mr. President, No Israeli government can tolerate a nuclear weapon in the hands of a regime that denies the Holocaust, threatens to wipe Israel off the map and sponsors terrorist groups committed to Israel’s destruction. Right?”
“That’s your view?”
“Yes, Mr. President but it’s also your view in the AIPAC speech. And we’re doing this for you and your country because A nuclear-armed Iran is completely counter to Israel’s security interests. But it is also counter to the national security interests of the United States.
“But isn’t bombing a bit drastic? How will the world react?”
“It will support us because, as you so brilliantly explained, “The entire world has an interest in preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.”
“Well, won’t Iran react strongly?”
“They can’t, Mr. President, because thanks to your terrific policies, Iran is isolated, its leadership divided and under pressure.”
“Isn’t there some alternative?”
No, Mr. President, because A nuclear-armed Iran would thoroughly undermine the nonproliferation regime that we’ve done so much to build. There are risks that an Iranian nuclear weapon could fall into the hands of a terrorist organization. It is almost certain that others in the region would feel compelled to get their own nuclear weapon, triggering an arms race in one of the world’s most volatile regions. It would embolden a regime that has brutalized its own people, and it would embolden Iran’s proxies, who have carried out terrorist attacks from the Levant to southwest Asia.”
“Hm. That does sound persuasive.”
“And as you so eloquently explained, Iran’s leaders should understand that I do not have a policy of containment; I have a policy to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. And as I have made clear time and again during the course of my presidency, I will not hesitate to use force when it is necessary to defend the United States and its interests. Well, Mr. President, the time has come to put that policy into action.”
“Don’t you care about what I think Israel should do?”
“Of course, Mr. President! And I’m following your advice. Iran’s leaders should have no doubt about the resolve of the United States just as they should not doubt Israel’s sovereign right to make its own decisions about what is required to meet its security needs. Indeed, your genius-level analysis of the situation forces us to bomb Iran.”
“I see.”
“And that’s precisely what we are doing. We fulfilled your request. We waited and gave sanctions a chance. But our intelligence said that Iran would be able to build a nuclear weapon last Thursday whereas your intelligence said they needed another ten days. So we split the difference and the planes are now taking off.”
“But I was only saying that to get reelected!”
“Ha, ha, Oh, Mr. President you are so funny. I’d tell that one to Ehud Barak but he’s busy directing the air strikes. And of course you did win the election after you convinced the American people that free contraceptives for everyone was more important than the collapse of the economy. Brilliantly played.”
“Thanks, Bibi. But what I really wanted was to make some deal with the Iranians so they could not build a bomb right now and just hide all the components or maybe they could just pretend to give someone else the enriched uranium and….”
“You were quite right, Mr. President. We all wanted you to succeed. But Iran didn’t do what you wanted. Very foolish of them. But we are doing precisely what you said, right?
“Are you sure you won’t reconsider?”
“Mr. President! I’d never think of ignoring all the good advice you gave me and that’s precisely why we’re attacking Iran. You explained in that superb manner of yours that Faced with these increasingly dire consequences, Iran’s leaders still have the opportunity to make the right decision. They can choose a path that brings them back into the community of nations, or they can continue down a dead end. Well, this is the dead end.”
“I was really great in that speech!”
Yes, Mr. President, we were all deeply moved, So much so that we waited [static on the phone line drowns out the precise number] months for diplomacy to work and yet the only thing Iran has given you in exchange is a spit in the eye and a knee to the groin. Well, you didn’t take that from Usama bin Ladin or from Muammar Qadhafi, right? And, besides, as you always say, There is no shortage of speeches on the friendship between the United States and Israel. But I’m also mindful of the proverb, `A man is judged by his deeds, not his words.’”
“Yes, I did say that didn’t I?”
“So now we know you will fulfill your promises with deeds. You said that you have Israel’s back and we know you wouldn’t put a knife into it. Ho! ho! And think of all this will do for green energy! With the price of oil going up it will mobilize support for your windmills, algae ponds, and solar panels.”
“That’s true.”
“Okay, I better go now. Give my regards to Michelle. That diet she recommended for me is doing wonders and I promise that all of the pilots going on the attack have been eating their vegetables. And, Mr. President, all of Israel wants to thank you for explaining to us why, when sanctions and diplomacy failed, we would have to attack Iran to ensure it can never get nuclear weapons.”
“Thanks, Bibi, and I’m glad you followed my advice.”
No Baptists Allowed
Hat Tip to Israel Matzav
I find it ironic that the Moonbat Left screams on how tolerant the Palestinian Authority is towards Christians. How under the PA Christianity is allowed to be practiced. Just look at the plight of the Christian community in Bethlehem. Just look at the flourishing of these communities. So what the PA is doing to the Baptists in Bethlehem should come as a shock to the left.
It seems that the Evangelicals who attended theanti-Semitic Christ at the Checkpoint Conference and were told that no restrictions would happen to the Christian Community.
And they believed it too. I've got a bridge to sell these useful idiots. It's an antique, but in excellent condition, you have to pay shipping and handling:
I find it ironic that the Moonbat Left screams on how tolerant the Palestinian Authority is towards Christians. How under the PA Christianity is allowed to be practiced. Just look at the plight of the Christian community in Bethlehem. Just look at the flourishing of these communities. So what the PA is doing to the Baptists in Bethlehem should come as a shock to the left.
The first thing Islamist do is to eliminate the Churches. The PA has plans already written to convert the Church of the Nativity into a Mosque. They cannot convert the holiest Church in Christendom into a Mosque while allowing this little Baptist Church to exist.A week after Prime Minister Salam Fayyad told an audience of Evangelical Protestants from across the world that his government respected the rights of its Christian minorities, officials from the Palestinian Authority have informed Bethlehem pastor Rev. Naim Khoury that his church lacked the authority to function as a religious institution under the PA.
The church can still gather to pray, for now, but the PA’s decision conveyed on Saturday will have a real impact on the members of First Baptist, which endured numerous bomb attacks during the First Intifada.
“They said that our legitimacy as a church from a governmental point of view is not approved,” said Khoury’s son, Steven, who serves as an assistant pastor at First Baptist. “They said they will not recognize any legal paper work from our church. That includes birth certificates, wedding certificates and death certificates. Children are not even considered to be legitimate if they don’t have recognized paperwork.”
The irony, Steven said, is that the PA’s announcement comes right after the Christ at the Checkpoint Conference. This conference, which took place from March 5 through March 9, 2012 was a gathering of approximately 600 Evangelical Protestants from across the globe (mostly from the United States) to discuss the theology of Christian Zionism, which some Evangelicals believe increases the prospect of violence in the Middle East and gives support to Israeli policies that they do not like.
During the opening night of the conference, Palestinian Prime Minister Fayyad told the assembly that his government respected the rights of Christians. Palestinians celebrate religious holidays together, PA officials attend Christmas celebrations and even attend Midnight Mass for Christmas, Fayyad said.
“This is what it means to be a Palestinian,” Fayyad said, adding that the PA feels a deep sense of responsibility for the holy places and will allow unfettered access to places of spiritual significance in areas under its control.
Nevertheless, there is a sense among Christians in Bethlehem that anti-Christian animus has gotten worse in the city over the past few years, Khoury said. “People are always telling them, ‘Convert to Islam. Convert to Islam. It’s the true and right religion.’”
This is the second time the church has been told it is operating without PA sanction, Khoury said. Other churches in Bethlehem are left alone, said Khoury, who suggested that the church’s love for both the Jewish and Arab people and its belief that both can live in the land in peace may have played a role in the PA’s decision. Prior to the PA, the church, which was founded in 1980, never had a problem with its paperwork, Khoury said.
“We believe it’s people who don’t like what we’re doing and the message we offer,” he said.
The church’s message of reconciliation flies in the face of the propaganda that permeates Palestinian society. Muslim clerics routinely offer up anti-Semitic rants on PA television and so-called peace activists have turned the concrete sections of the security barrier in Bethlehem into a canvas for their propaganda, which in some instances proffers a troubling fatalism to its viewers.
For example one section of the security barrier near the Alrowad refugee camp in Bethlehem depicts two Palestinian youths throwing rocks and another being arrested by Israeli soldiers. Alongside the image, the artist has written in French and English the phrase “We can’t live, So we wait for death.”
Khoury said the Palestinian Authority needs to treat all sects with equality and respect their rights. “The First Baptist Church in Bethlehem has demonstrated its value to the community over the years and proven itself to be a law-abiding church,” Khoury said.
Khoury said he will speak to members of Congress in the United States to draw attention to what is happening to First Baptist in Bethlehem.
“We did let them know that we’re not going to go quietly on this,” Khoury said. “We want our church to be fully recognized equally with all the other recognized denominations. Our church deserves the right to be equally recognized amongst all the other recognized denominations in the PA.”
Joann Magnuson, a long-time observer of Christian communities in the West Bank, said she has known the Khourys for at least 15 years.
“I know them to be serious Christians, busy caring for their flock and preaching the gospel of love and forgiveness,” she said. “It’s seems more than coincidence that the Christ at the Checkpoint conference ended and now the Khourys are being targeted.”
At the time of publication the PLO Mission in Washington, D.C. has not responded to The Algemeiner’s request for comment on these allegations. This story will be updated as information allows.

Not To Be Trusted By Their Own Government
When the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta gave a speech to a group of US Marines today in Afghanistan, he ordered that the Marines were to be disarmed before the speech.
Less than a week after a US staff sergeant allegedly massacred 16 civilians in Kandahar, American soldiers were banned from bringing guns into a talk by Mr Panetta at a base in Helmand province. Why would the Secretary of Defense be afraid to speech in front of American soldiers who are armed? What is he afraid of? And if he is afraid, does the President fear the military too? And what will be his punishment to the military?
Around 200 troops who had gathered in a tent at Camp Leatherneck were told "something had come to light" and asked abruptly to file outside and lay down their automatic rifles and 9mm pistols.
"Somebody got itchy, that's all I've got to say. Somebody got itchy – we just adjust," said the sergeant who was told to clear the hall of weapons.
Major General Mark Gurganus later said he gave the order because Afghan troops attending the talk were unarmed and he wanted the policy to be consistent for all.
"You've got one of the most important people in the world in the room," he told the New York Times, insisting that the decision was unrelated to Sunday's killings. "This is not a big deal."
However, US troops often remain armed even when their Afghan colleagues have been asked to lay down their weapons and the incident is believed to be the first time they were stripped of guns during an address by their own secretary of defense.
The Ministry of Defense was unable to confirm reports that a small number of British troops had also been asked to put down their weapons.
Mr Panetta told the troops that the massacre of civilians and the resulting Afghan fury would not affect plans to keep US troops in the country until the end of 2014.
"We will be challenged by our enemies, we will be challenged by ourselves, we will be challenged by the hell of war itself," he said.

Elizabeth Holtzman Speaks at UC Irvine

On March 13, 2012, former Congresswoman Elizabeth Holtzman gave a presentation at UC Irvine on the idea of impeaching / prosecuting George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. Since it was right next door, I popped in and amused myself.
Holtzman, a former DA of Kings County (Brooklyn) is hawking a book called "Cheating Justice- How Bush and Cheney Attacked the Rule of Law. Plotted to Avoid Prosecution-and What We Can Do About it". She was introduced by the Dean of Student Services Elisabeth Schroeder, who met Holtzman in college and later worked for her when Holtzman was in the House of Representatives. Schoeder gave a bio on Holtzman and described how she defeated the incumbent representative, Emanuel Cellar, in the 1972 Democratic primaries. Schoeder described Celler as being unconnected with his constituents and their concerns.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emanuel_Celler
Holtzman was a member of the House committee during the Nixon Watergate hearings. I remember watching her on TV. Although I firmly accept that Nixon was guilty of impeachable offenses and deserved to lose his office, I recall vividly that some members of the committee seemed to have made up their minds on Day One. One of them was Elizabeth Holtzman.
Anyway, after expressing her belief that everybody should be accountable under the law no matter what office they hold, Holtzman outlined her theory and reasons why George W. Bush and Dick Cheney should be brought to justice. "They broke the law", she said. "Not secretly, but in public".
Holtzman explained all the "lies" that Bush and Cheney told to the public and to Congress about Iraq in the run-up to the Iraq war . (She never told the audience that virtually every security and intelligence agency with whom we work had told the administration that Iraq had or was developing weapons of mass destruction).
"Why did Bush do this?" she asked? "Was it for oil? For his father? For re-election? We don't know", the former DA concluded. (Oh well, you don't need to prove motive, you know, but I would have said, "to protect the country from any future attacks after 9-11".)
Holtzman gave us laws and statutes that, in her view, had been broken (by Bush and Cheney).
First was a crime to defraud the US (by their "misrepresentation" of the need to attack Iraq). She quoted 18 USC 371.
This is 18 USC 371
http://www.justice.gov/usao/eousa/foia_reading_room/usam/title9/crm00923.htm
Second was Foreign Intelligence Wiretaps violations.
Holtzman did not make the differentiation between ordinary criminal wiretaps that require a normal court order and national security wiretaps. She merely stated that Bush decided he didn't need to obey the law about getting court orders. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was including the FISA court.
Third was mistreatment of detainees and violation of anti-torture statutes in accordance with the Geneva Convention and the War Crimes Act (1996).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Crimes_Act_of_1996
Holtzmann stated that Bush and Cheney took us out of the Geneva Convention. (She later amended that to state in regards to the Taliban and Al Qaida.). She described the involvement of DOJ attorney John Yoo, who wrote a legal opinion that allowed them to get around torture. (Yoo's name was mentioned twice, and both times it brought chuckles from a few audience members.) She mentioned a memo that Bush received from Alberto Gonzalez advising him to get the US out of the Geneva Convention to reduce the "likelihood that we would be prosecuted later"( under the War Crimes Act of 1996).
So, according to Holtzman, it was a prima facie case that Bush and Cheney could be prosecuted, which I guess, is the thesis of her new book.
What was not mentioned in any of this was 9-11.
Solutions?
According to Holtzman, we need to revise the statute of limitations; we need a special prosecutor; and we need to re-instate the War Crimes Act. In summary, justice for all, rich and poor, no matter their position with no immunity for those who happen to be top officials.
Well, that sure sounded reasonable to me, so when Q and A came, I raised my hand and asked her why she didn't support impeachment for President Bill Clinton, when he committed perjury while in office. I told her that I seemed to recall her being interviewed about it, and that she pooh-pooed the idea of impeaching Clinton.
"I still do," she answered then went on to state something to the effect that crime and impeachment were two different things. She began talking about how there was a move to impeach Nixon for tax evasion. At that point, I said that the question was about Clinton.
She didn't like that. Her voice rose; she pointed her finger at me and said, "I am answering it, but I will answer it in my own way".
According to her own way of answering the question, Holtzman seemed to draw a line on perjury because the impeachable office had to be an abuse of office. I guess that meant that perjury by a sitting president is not an abuse of office. So much for accountability.
When I asked for a follow-up, she cut me off with a curt, "No, you've had your question" (or something like that).
My feelings were hurt.
Another questioner asked if President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder should be impeached for having an American citizen killed in Yemen (Anwar al-Awlaki). Holtzman said that she had not studied that since her study was on Bush and Cheney, that she was troubled by it, but she couldn't answer that.
Another questioner wanted to know if Bush and Cheney could be brought to trial in a foreign court. To that Holtzman remarked that the "US is not playing an enlightened role in this area". She mentioned the example of Pinochet, who was brought to trial 27 years after he was violating human rights in Chile. She mentioned that Poland was investigating the secret prisons in its territory where detainees were taken. She expressed the hope that actions abroad might wake us up (US).
Another questioner wanted to know if Bush and Cheney could be impeached even after leaving office. To that, Holtzman explained that their pensions could be taken away.
That was pretty much it since the event only lasted an hour. At that point the audience adjourned to another room to buy Holtzman's book. (I did not.)
Here is what I took away from this event. As I had always suspected, Holtzman has a partisan bent when it comes to impeachment. She's all gangbusters when it comes to Republicans, but not when it comes to Democrats. That is based on what I will call my 4 for 4 formula. Impeach Nixon and Bush? Yes. Impeach Clinton? No. Impeach Obama? "I don't know anything about it". Elizabeth Holtzman is quite selective in her outrage in my book.

Will somebody please tell the
Circumcised men may have a slightly lower risk of developing prostate cancer than those who still have their foreskin, according to a US study. While for the majority of people in the United States circumcision is a matter of preference, for Jews and Muslims circumcision by a certain age is a mandatory obligation under the faith.
The World Health Organization already recommends the controversial procedure based on research showing it lowers heterosexual men's risk of contracting HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
Last year scientists also reported that wives and girlfriends of circumcised men had lower rates of infection with human papillomavirus or HPV, which in rare cases may lead to cervical and other cancers. And last week, researchers reported that African men who were circumcised were less likely to be infected with a particular herpes virus.
The new study, published in the journal Cancer, jibes with those findings but falls short of actually proving that circumcision will reduce a boy's future cancer risk, said Jonathan Writer, at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, who led the study.
"I would not go out and advocate for widespread circumcision to prevent prostate cancer," Wright said. "We see an association, but it doesn't prove causality."
Although most US men are circumcised, the procedure has become less popular over the past decade, and various groups have spoken out against it. In September, the Royal Dutch Medical Association discouraged the practice, calling it a "painful and harmful ritual."
For their study, Wright and his colleagues compared two groups of more than 1,600 men who had answered questions about their medical history, sex life and whether or not they were circumcised. Half had prostate cancer, the others didn't.
In the group with cancer, 69 percent of the men have been circumcised, compared to 72 percent of those without cancer -- suggesting a small protective effect.
Even accounting for a host of other factors, such as age, race and whether or not the men had been screened for prostate cancer, those who were circumcised still had a 15 percent lower risk of the disease.
"Circumcision before first sexual intercourse is associated with a reduction in the relative risk of prostate cancer in the study population," Wright and his colleagues wrote.
The foreskin is prone to tiny tears during sex, which may help bacteria and viruses enter the bloodstream.
Wright said that some viruses can trigger cancer when they are incorporated into human DNA. Another possibility is that sexually transmitted microorganisms could lead to cancer by causing chronic inflammation.

I guess G-d knew what he was doing when he demanded Abraham to circumcise himself and his people. And Science backs this up.

The Lies Arabs Tell!
Hat tip to IDF Spokesperson
Two photos tweeted in the past 24 hours, both allegedly depicting the results of Israeli air strikes in Gaza in recent days, have been proven false.
How many of us has seen this picture?
1. The photo first tweeted by Khulood Badawi (@KhuloodBadawi) and later by Diana Alzeer (@ManaraRam), allegedly depicting a Palestinian girl killed by an Israeli air strike yesterday, was proven to have originated in 2006 and to have had nothing at all to do with Israeli action. This photo is now the top tweet for #Gaza, with over 300 retweets. It is completely false.
It looks very bad for this little girl. Those bad Israelis killing children, bombing with abandon.
Badawi first tweeted the picture at noon on March 10, claiming it was linked to last night’s air strikes. Alzeer tweeted it on March 11, claiming the same.I am a big proponent of recycling but not of old photographs that have been doctored to produce propaganda instead of the truth.
Both were refuted by tweeter Avi Mayer (@avimayer), who found that the photo dated back to 2009 at least.
Further research revealed that the photo was taken in 2006 by Reuters, and that the girl, initially thought to have been killed in an Israeli air strike, was injured by falling off a swing. When confronted with this information, Alzeer stated that the photo was taken last night and forwarded to the press that day.
In fact, the photo was taken by Reuters on August 9, 2006. It was originally released with an incorrect caption, and then corrected a day later:
A Palestinian man carries the body of three year-old Raja Abu Shaban, in Gaza August 9, 2006. The three-year-old girl who had been reported killed by an Israeli air strike in Gaza on Wednesday actually died of an accident, Palestinian medical workers said on Thursday. Workers at Gaza’s Shifa hospital said on August 10, 2006 that the initial mistake over the cause of death appeared to have arisen because the girl’s corpse was brought in at the same time as the bodies of the gunmen. Alzeer later published an apology and withdrew her claims. Badawi has yet to respond.
The original tweets, however, have already been picked up by hundreds of others and continue to circulate around the web, despite having been thoroughly disproven.
2. A second photo tweeted Maissam Nablussi (@Nablussi), allegedly showing an aerial strike in Gaza today, was proven to have been in circulation back in 2009, completely unrelated to the current round of violence.
On March 11, Nablussi uploaded a photo to Facebook, claiming it depicted “Gaza under attack today.”
The photo was also tweeted by Gaza Youth Break Out (@GazaYBO), under the same claim.
The photo was revealed to have first appeared on various websites, including that of Reuters, in 2009, following Operation Cast Lead.
After the truth behind the image was revealed, Nablussi blocked access to the Facebook post. She has yet to retract her claim regarding yesterday’s aerial strike. Neither has GazaYBO.
This isn’t the first time people have spread false information about the IDF. Meanwhile, lies are still being tweeted throughout the web.
Share this post to fight misinformation–set the facts straight about what’s going on in Israel and Gaza.
Wondering what else you can do? Spread the truth.
As the Fakistinians keep shelling Israel with rockets (over 300 so far) the IDF has shown great restraint. Instead of targeting civilian centers, the IDF targets the terrorists themselves as seen in these videos:
Pinpoint Targeting of a Hamas Weapon Manufacturing Facility
Rocket Launch Squad Targeted
Targeting of a Popular Resistance Committee Rocket Launching Site

Instead of telling the truth, the Fakistinians and their supporters are lying to garner sympathy.

You Might Be A Ron Paul Supporter If...
If you painted the name of a presidential candidate on your barn.
If your idea of fun is freezing your ass off waving signs with your friends.
If you think your grandpa would be rolling in his grave if he knew what was going on in America.
If tomorrow feels like Christmas because your package full of Ron Paul stickers and t-shirts is on it's way.
If you really honest to God feel good about what we are doing, win or lose.
If you have real difficulty deciding whether to pay the electric bill or donating to the next money bomb.
If you plastered your car with campaign bumper stickers rather than fixing the rust.
If you spit your coffee out of your nose when Ron Paul holds up a silver dollar to Ben Bernake.
If it looks like a truck full of campaign signs exploded on your lawn.
If your idea of new school clothes for your kids is a Ron Paul hoodie.
If you think there is no difference between Obama, Newt, Mitt, and Rick.
If you find your friends coming to you to ask for signs and bumper stickers.
If you know the difference between a million, a billion or a trillion.
If you and your friends are wondering how many more flyers your printer can possibly take before it explodes.
If you dream about new and exciting places to plaster that new roll of campaign stickers.
If you think Jesus might be really pissed at lots of so called Christians right about now.
If you know the difference between blowback and bull crap.
If you think bombs are better used for campaign donations than for blowing up bridges in other countries while ours fall apart at home.
If the FEC shows you as one of the biggest campaign contributors in your ZIP code, but with lots of small ones over time.
If you think the FED is making sure our dollars will be printed as toilet paper in the near future.
If you give campaign flyers along with the candy on Halloween.
If you know the difference between military spending and defense spending.
If your reading list has lately become filled with names like Rothbard, Rand, Hayek, Mises and Paul.
If you support our troops and want them to come home where we need them on our own borders.
If you aren't afraid to use your real name anymore when you comment on every article you can find on Google every day.
If you have found courage within yourself since you have awakened from your slumber and ignorance.

If you know that this is not just an election, that this is a movement for the long term, our evolution, our revolution.
If you have decided to write in your candidate of choice rather than give it to someone else or sit things out as your message to the machine.

A Personal Message From Iron Dome Soldiers
Hat Tip to Israel Matzav
Imagine the United States under rocket attack from Mexico. And imagine American military men and women operating a missile defense system. And imagine a few of these soldiers are asked to help film a safety message. You would get this.

A Thought For The Day
For the last 3 days over 300 rockets have been fired into Israel. Israel has retaliated back across the border. The Main Stream Media has reported only on Israel's retaliation and not the rockets fire upon Israel. Yet not one peep of protest by Muslims world-wide.
Perhaps it is the fact that only 24 people (all known terrorists) have been killed.
Perhaps it is the pin point bombing that isn't destroying any homes.
But we are waiting for them. Such as this one:
Pro-Hamas Demonstration Fort Lauderdale Dec. 2008
Or this one complete with the bloodied baby doll:
Amsterdam Jan. 2009
And in San Francisco the Gays marched for those who would hang them for being Gay.
San Francisco Jan. 2009
If the Gay Community wonders why I no longer support them, that is why. The Gay community supports those who kill Gays and Lesbians. They condemn those who support openly Gay and Lesbians. Before Gays served openly in the US Military, they were being drafted and served openly in the IDF.
I am awaiting with baited breath for the
160 Missiles And Counting
Every day 5 to 10 Missiles are fired from Gaza into Israel. This daily attack has been on going for over 10 years. But this last weekend over 160 Missiles have been fired into Israel with 8 wounded.
Now the MSM and the Moonbat left will exclaim: "But they only hurt 8 and most don't do any damage." But I ask them: What would you do if Southern Israel was Southern Texas? Would you not demand the US government to stop the attacks? Would you side with those who fire the rockets into civilian areas and only civilian areas? The MSM and the Moonbat left side with those who fire the rockets and call for the death of the civilians under attack.
The condemning of Israel and Israelis by these groups is nothing less than modern day anti-Semitism. It is permissible to call for the death of all Jews and not be shunned. In fact the left will put you on a pedestal instead.'
And yet, the people of Southern Israel have suffered for years under daily attacks from Gaza.
When Israel gave up Gaza in 2005 they were PROMISED that there would be peace. From that day till now the rockets and missiles have fallen. Yet Obama is demanding that Israel give up Jerusalem. How long do you think that rockets and missiles will fall from there?
Pray for the Nation and people of Israel. Please help the people of Israel. If you can a few dollars to The American Friends of the Magen David Adom (Israeli Red Star of David) will help all the people in the Southern Israel. Just click here.
Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?
No not Sidney Poitier, but President Barack Hussein Obama. The Royal Visit Presidential Visit will occur sometime in July.
In the latest DEBKAfile issued this last Friday the analysts reveled:
Yet the Jews of the United States are waking up to the reality of Obama. When Obama addressed AIPAC last week he received light applause, not the riots cheers he received in 2008. People who gave a monthly donation to his campaign in 2008 have shut the purse so tight that light cannot escape (let alone dollars). Even Debbie Wasserman-Schultz had to try and convince her own family to support Obama. (They are debating to support her re-election attempt.)
The tribe is angry and no fake visit to Israel (With a couple of tons of equipment, 2 separate means of travel [One for Barack and another for Michelle.], and costs to the US Taxpayer of millions of dollars wasted.) will convince the tribe that we should support Obama once again. No this time our eyes are opening and we will not be fooled once more.
The Jewish People will remember everything in November!
In the latest DEBKAfile issued this last Friday the analysts reveled:
1. Prime Minister Netanyahu has given President Obama breathing-space for a decision on the timing of an attack Iran.
2. As the latest DEBKA-Net-Weekly issue disclosed exclusively this Friday, Obama wants to meet Netanyahu again in July and is considering a trip to Israel to be combined with visits to other Middle East capitals. He reckons the trip will give his reelection campaign a major boost.
It cannot be said now if this journey will take place before or after an attack on Iran and whether it will be an American, an Israeli or a combined operation.
3. Iran is meanwhile forging ahead with the production of highly-enriched uranium with the help of advanced centrifuges and with the assembly of nuclear weapon components - undeterred by sanctions or diplomatic pressure. What could be more rational than taking advantage of “the window for diplomacy” so freely offered?
Then again Obama is having a hard time convincing Jews he is a friend of theirs. All of the Muslim World has gone on record saying that:
1. Obama is a Muslim
2. Obama will hand first Jerusalem back to the Arabs, then all of Israel to them. By physical force if necessary.
