Obama And The Israelis

President Barack Hussein Obama is sitting pretty.  He believes he has talked Binyamin Netanyahu out of attacking Iran (Before the election.  Afterwards Obama can do what ever he pleases to Israel.), he is raising money hand over foot (Although he fell very short of his goal of $250 million for this quarter [He raised only $40 million.].), and he was able to steer the public (Main Stream Media in this case.) away from his attacks on the Roman Catholic Church and onto the GOP by utilizing a liar by the name of Sandra Fuck Fluke.  It has been a good week so far.  Except the applause at AIPAC was weak, and Netanyahu did not actually agree to his demands.  But President Obama is assured that on November 6th he will be re-elected.  Unless the Israelis attack Iran before the Summer.

Stopping from obtaining a nuclear weapon is more important than President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, Washington Post and widely syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer wrote Sunday.

He also revealed that a senior administration official told the newspaper, "We're trying to make the decision to attack as hard as possible for Israel.”

The veteran journalist accused President Obama of cheering for Israel at last week’s American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference and then stepping an about-face by agreeing “to yet another round of talks with the mullahs” of Iran despite previous “blatant Iranian stalling and unseriousness” on the part of the Ahmadinejad regime.

Krauthammer directly accused President Obama of putting his own campaign for re-election ahead of Israel security. Obama wants to get past Nov. 6 without any untoward action that might threaten his re-election,” he wrote.

Negotiations between the United Nations nuclear watchdog IAEA and Iran so far have taken on the aspect of a charade, with Tehran speeding up its work to enrich uranium, a key ingredient for a nuclear weapon, at the same time it “talks about talking.”

“These negotiations don't just gain time for a nuclear program about whose military intent the IAEA is issuing alarming warnings,” according to Krauthammer. “They make it extremely difficult for Israel to do anything about it (while it still can), lest Israel be universally condemned for having aborted a diplomatic solution.

As for talks and economic sanctions, he stated, “Holding talks is not success. Imposing sanctions is not success."

President Obama told AIPAC, “Iran's leaders should have no doubt about the resolve of the United States.”

Krauthammer commented, “And then he pursues policies — open-ended negotiations, deceptive promises of tough U.S. backing for Israel, boasts about the efficacy of sanctions, grave warnings about ‘war talk’ — meant, as his own official admitted, to stop Israel from exercising precisely that sovereign right to self-protection…

”A fair-minded observer might judge that Israel's desire to not go gently into the darkness carries higher moral urgency than the political future of one man, even if he is president of the United States.”

Source What President Obama wants is Israel to just go away.  A goal he will try to achieve if he is re-elected.  When Israel attack Iran all hell will break lose.  Iran will go to the Security Council and demand a declaration and sanctions against Israel.  And once again Obama will have to use the VETO.  And like last time our Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice will tell the despot assembled that the only reason the US used its VETO was so President Obama could garner the Jewish vote.  And that in his second term it will not happen again.

Only this time Ambassador Rice you should remember this:

The Jewish Community Will Remember Everything in November!!

Just To Piss Off Bill Maher

And any other Atheist.

I really don't care if you believe in G-d or not, but when you demand that all references to the All Mighty are to be removed from the Public Arena because they "offend" you, then you have gone too far.  The minority does not have the right to dictate to the majority.  In a republic such as we have the minority has right to believe or not to believe and not be penalized for that belief.  But the majority also has rights.  And if the majority wishes to place a copy of the 10 Commandment, a Nativity Scene, or even a prayer plaque then the minority in this case should just look the other way.  To demand their removal is against the Constitution, and the views of the Founding Fathers.  So in this vein and to piss off Bill Maher who as an Atheist is offended by even the mention of G-d I submit this wonderful song for your enjoyment:

G-d Bless America  Sung by Kate Smith

I do hope you enjoyed it.  I did.

Scientists Prove Brain Eating Amoeba Causes People To Vote Democrat

To E:  This is Satire!

Every wonder why, in the face of all the facts, the destruction of the economy, etc., people vote for Democrats?  Well thanks to Jodi Miller of Newsbusted we now know--brain eating amoebas. Apparently these strange microscopic creatures not only cause people to vote for the nearest progressive Democrat, but it also makes them believe in the global warming hoax.

Deeds

From the Republican Jewish Coalition

During President Obama's speech at the recent AIPAC policy conference, he said of Israel, "But as you examine my commitment, you don't just have to count on my words. You can look at my deeds."

Looking at the President's deeds regarding Israel gives supporters of a strong U.S.-Israel alliance much to be concerned about.

This web ad highlights the fact that those concerns are not just Republican concerns, but have been expressed by top Democratic leaders as well. This ad shows what Democrats are saying, in their own words, about the President's policies on Israel.

Farrakhan at UC Berkeley-What Mark Yudof Must Do

Gary Fouse

Hat tip Daily Californian

The Daily Californian, UC Berkeley's campus paper, is running an op-ed by Rabbi Adam Neftalin-Kellman, executive director of Berkeley Hillel on tomorrow's speaking appearance at UC Berkeley by Louis Farrakhan.

http://www.dailycal.org/2012/03/09/farrakhans-presence-demonizes-jews-and-others/

In addition, here is another op-ed by Daily Californian staff writer Jason Willick.

http://www.dailycal.org/2012/03/07/farrakhan-and-uc-berkeleys-free-speech-fallacy/

Another report by CBS San Francisco:

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/03/09/kcbs-cover-story-farrakhan-uc-berkeley-appearance-stirs-debate-protests/

Let me say this: A petition to bar a speaker is a dangerous thing. Today it is Farrakhan; tomorrow it is Rush Limbaugh; then it is who knows who. (No, I am not comparing Limbaugh to Farrakhan in any way.) I think this should be handled as I have advocated for the notorious UC Irvine events held by the Muslim Student Union every May. When a hateful speaker comes, he or she has the First Amendment right to speak and speak without being disrupted. If they make an inflammatory statement that leads directly to someone being assaulted then they can be held liable. Other than that, there isn't much you can do. Yet, others have the right to be present and peacefully protest. They can hold signs. They can pass out leaflets. Most importantly, they can participate in the question and answer session. If time does not allow, they can ask for the speaker to stick around for some questions and dialogue. If they desire, their question can be a statement though a long diatribe of a speech will be cut off by the moderator.

This is what I would encourage the opponents of Farrakhan to do.

And there is no person at UC Berkeley more appropriate to do that than UC President Mark Yudof, who just yesterday, issued a UC-wide statement condemning racist and anti-Semitic expressions on his campuses. Yudof, who is himself Jewish and whose office is in the Bay area, should be at that event. He should monitor what Farrakhan says and after that, he should stand up and tell Farrakhan in no uncertain terms what he thinks of him. He should also tell the Black Student Union that they should be ashamed of themselves for inviting such an odious character to speak and that they have lost any credibility should they ever want to complain about racism.

No excuses, Mr Yudof. If you are out of town, get back right away. If you have other commitments, cancel them. This is the most important task you have had to date in your tenure. You have taken a lot of heat for the way you have handled -or not handled these problems. You have an extraordinary opportunity tomorrow to start setting the UC ship right and be taken seriously.

Don't blow it.

Peace Now's Megillah

If you know the story of Purim (You can read it here.) this will hit your funny bone with a sledgehammer.  The Tribe, Latma TV brings to the world the Story of Esther but with a very leftist view.  (And we all know the media in Israel leans far left.)

With Obama the Peace Maker, Shimon of Peres, Ahmadinejad, Mordechai and "The Settlers" the whole gang of good guys and bad guys are here.

Happy Purim

Another Day, Another Anti-Semitic Incident

This time in Bushnell, Florida at the Florida National Cemetery.  There are 118,000 graves at the Florida National Cemetery and this weekend some were pushed over.  When the authorities examined the graves each one over turned has a Star of David on it.
BUSHNELL - Detectives in central Florida are investigating a hate crime in Bushnell – the vandalism of Jewish headstones in a veterans' cemetery.

Sumter County Sheriff's Office detectives started their investigation into what happened to the headstones on Monday. Several headstones in two sections of the Florida National Cemetery were found pushed over or dug out last weekend.

The headstones were identified as Jewish by the Stars of David on them.

Lawmakers in Florida chastised the crime upon hearing the news.

"This is a tragic and despicable incident, and whoever is responsible for this should be ashamed of their actions and brought to justice," Florida Rep. Gus Bilirakis said in a statement obtained by FOX 13. "Not only did these vandals desecrate the memorials of those who fought and died to protect our freedom, but they targeted individuals simply because of their religious beliefs."

The Florida National Cemetery is run by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

"We are talking about the final resting place for members of the Armed Forces," Florida Rep. Rich Nugent said in a statement. "To violate the sanctity of such a place is appalling, and if early reports are accurate and that the attacks were indeed motivated by anti-Semitism and a hatred of religious freedom, it is an attack on the very liberties that these soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Coast Guard gave their lives for. It is unacceptable on so many levels. I hope the authorities catch the vandals and that they catch them soon."

How Many Jews Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb?

The Answer to one of the greatest questions known to man.

What if these famous people had Jewish mothers? Frenetic comedy in the spirit of Purim.

Code Pink To Disolve!

It was announced today by Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin that the organization Code Pink will be dissolving and giving up their Communist agenda.  Ms Benjamin was informed that when the revolution was over she and the other useful idiots members of Code Pink would be given a long, well deserved rest in a retraining center health spa.  There they will become the perfect members of the new society.

Upon hearing this these ladies in pink of the left tore off their pink garments, donned camouflage fatigues and ran to the nearest recruitment office.  There they will serve their nation.

Purim!

Purim?  What the heck is Purim?

It all began in Ancient Persia in the 4th century BCE. The Holy Temple that had stood in Jerusalem was destroyed more than 50 years earlier, and the Jews were subjects of the mighty Persian empire (Now known as Iran.) which extended over 127 lands.

Three years after King Ahasuerus ascended the Persian throne, when he felt secure in his new position, he celebrated by throwing a grand 180-day-long party for all his subjects. Following this extravagant gala, Ahasuerus hosted a smaller week-long party for the residents of the capital city of Shushan. In the palace's women's quarters, Ahasuerus' wife, Queen Vashti, hosted her own party for the Shushanite womenfolk.

On the seventh day of this party, Ahasuerus' heart "was merry with wine," and he commanded his wife Vashti to appear before all the partying men—he wanted to show them all her exquisite beauty. Vashti balked at this request, and at the advice of his advisor Memuchan, Ahasuerus ordered Vashti's execution.

When Ahasuerus' wrath dissipated, he was lonely for a wife. His servants suggested that he orchestrate a beauty pageant. Officers would be appointed in all the king's lands, and all beautiful girls would be brought to Ahasuerus. And the girl who would find favor in the king's eyes would be the new queen.

The leader of the Jews at that time was a Shushanite resident named Mordechai. He had a cousin, Esther, who was orphaned as a young girl. Mordechai raised her and treated her as a daughter. Though she had no desire to be the queen, Esther was forcibly taken to the king's harem, to participate in the contest. While all the other contestant beautified themselves with perfumes and lotions, Esther did nothing. But G‑d had His own plans. When Esther appeared before the king, he immediately liked her, and Esther became the new Queen of Persia. But as per Mordechai's directive, Esther refused to divulge her nationality—even to the king.

Shortly after Esther became queen, Mordechai overheard two of the king's chamberlains discussing a plot to assassinate the king. Mordechai had them reported, and the traitors were hanged.

Meanwhile, Haman, one of Ahasuerus' ministers, was promoted to the position of Prime Minister. Haman was a virulent Jew hater; in fact he was a descendant of the notoriously anti-Semitic nation of Amalek.

Immediately after his promotion, the king issued a decree ordering everyone to bow down whenever Haman appeared. Now Haman would walk around with a large idol hanging from a chain around his neck. When Mordechai, a proud Jew, refused to bow down, Haman was infuriated. He resolved to take revenge against all the Jews and threw lots to determine the "lucky" day when he would implement his plan. The lot fell on the 13th day of the Hebrew month of Adar.

Haman approached Ahasuerus and offered him 10,000 silver talents in exchange for permission to exterminate the Jews. Ahasuerus, who was no friend of the Jews either, told Haman, "The money is yours to keep, and the nation is yours to do with as you please."

Haman immediately sent proclamations to all the king's land. These declarations, sealed with the royal signet ring, ordered the people to rise up against the Jews and kill them all – men, women, and children – on the following 13th of Adar.

Mordechai became aware of the decree. He rent his garments and donned sackcloth. He sent a message to Esther, asking her to approach the king and beg him to spare her people. Esther responded that according to the rules anyone who entered the king's presence un-summoned would be put to death—unless the king extended to that person his golden scepter. "And I," Esther said, "have not been summoned by the king for thirty days already!"

Mordechai sent another message: "Do not think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews by being in the king's palace. For if you will remain silent at this time, relief and salvation will come to the Jews from another source, and you and the house of your father will be lost. And who knows if it is not for just such a time that you reached this royal position."

Esther agreed to approach the king. But she asked Mordechai to gather all the Jews in Shushan and let them all fast for three days and nights. And after this fast Esther would put her life in her hands and approach the king.

Mordechai complied with Esther's request. He gathered the Jews of Shushan – especially the children, 22,000 of them – and they fasted, repented and prayed to G‑d.

After three days of fasting, Esther donned royal garb and entered Ahasuerus' chambers. Immediately, the king extended his scepter. "What is it?" Ahasuerus asked. "What is your request?"

"I would like to invite the king and Haman to a small feast I have prepared," Esther responded.

So the king and Haman joined Esther for a wine-feast. During the feast, the king again asked Esther whether she had anything to request. "Yes," Esther responded. "I would appreciate if tomorrow, again, the king and Haman would join me for a feast. And then I will tell the king my request.

Haman left the party a happy and proud man. Oh the honor he was being accorded! But standing at the king's gate was Mordechai – who still refused to bow to Haman – and Haman was enraged. When he arrived home, his wife and wise advisors counseled him to erect a gallows, and then to go to the king and request permission to hang Mordechai. Haman excitedly went ahead and put up the gallows.

Sleep eluded the king that night, so he asked his servants to read for him from the Royal Chronicles. They complied with the king's orders. They read from the Chronicles how Mordechai saved the king's life when two of his chamberlains hatched a plot to kill him.

"Was he rewarded for this fine act?" Ahasuerus asked. "No he was not," the servants responded.

At that moment Haman entered the king's courtyard. His purpose? To ask the king's permission to hang Mordechai! Before Haman could utter a word, Ahasuerus addressed him: "My Haman, in your estimation, what shall be done to a person whom the king wishes to honor?"

Haman, who was certain that the king wished to honor him, responded: "Bring royal garment and a royal horse. And let one of the king's nobles dress the man and lead him on the horse through the city streets, proclaiming before him, 'So is done for the man whom the king wishes to honor!'"

"Great idea," Ahasuerus responded. "Now go get the garments and the horse and do so for Mordechai the Jew!"

Haman had no choice but to comply. On the next day he went and honored Mordechai as the king had ordered, and then immediately rushed to join the king and Esther for...

"What is your request?" a curious King Ahasuerus asked Esther at the feast.

"If I have found favor in your eyes, O King," Esther pleaded, "and if it pleases the king, let my life be granted me by my plea, and the life of my people by my request. For my people and I have been sold to be annihilated, killed and destroyed!" Esther then identified Haman as the evil person who wished to perpetrate this atrocity.

The king was greatly angered. When he was then informed that Haman had built a gallows for Mordechai, he ordered that Haman be hanged on that very gallows.

On that day, Haman's estate was given to Esther, and Mordechai was appointed Prime Minister in Haman's stead.

But Esther was far from satisfied. Haman was dead, but his evil decree was still in effect. According to Persian law, once a king issues a decree it can not be rescinded. But the king gave Mordechai and Esther permission, and they promptly wrote up a decree that countermanded Haman's edict. The decree granted the Jews permission to defend themselves against their enemies. And by this time, considering that all knew that the queen and Prime Minister were both Jewish, no one would prevent the Jews from doing just that!

And the Jews in Shushan were oh so happy. Celebrations abounded!

On the 13th of Adar that year, the Jews throughout the Persian Empire mobilized and killed the enemies who had wanted to kill them. In Shushan, among the dead were Haman's ten sons.

Esther asked the king's permission for the Jews in Shushan to have one more day to destroy their enemy—and the king acceded to her wish. On that day, the 14th of Adar, the Jews worldwide celebrated, and the Jews of Shushan killed more of their enemies, and also hung Haman's sons. The Jews of Shushan then rested and celebrated on the 15th of Adar.

Mordechai and Esther established a holiday to commemorate these amazing events. Jews worldwide celebrate on the 14th of Adar, while residents of walled cities – like Shushan – celebrate on the 15th of Adar. This holiday, called "Purim," is the most joyous holiday on the Jewish calendar.
All these events happened in Ancient Persia, today's Iran. And like ancient Persia there is a Haman ready to kill the Jews. He is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a man who threatens to wipe out Israel and the Jewish people world wide. But like every despot that has tried to destroy the Jewish people, he will fall by the wayside.

On Adar 13, during the biblical story of Purim, the 10 sons of Haman were hanged (Esther 9:7). This would find eerie parallel over 2,000 years later when 10 top Nazi officials were hanged at the Nuremberg Trials. Incredibly, the Hebrew year of the hangings at Nuremberg, 5707, is encoded in the Book of Esther: In the listing of Haman's 10 sons, three Hebrew letters -- taf, shin and zayin, representing the year 5707 -- are written unusually small. (This anomaly appears in every authentic Megillah scroll, written that way for over 2,000 years.)

The Maccabeats - Purim Song

In honor of Purim, jokes practical and not are played on each other. Gifts of food and wine to friends and family are given. Gifts to charity to help the poor and destitute are to be given. (Normally through a third party.)

Tonight starts the Holiday of Purim. Enjoy the day. Enjoy the jokes.

AMCHA Letter to UC President Yudof

Gary Fouse
fousesquawk
http://garyfouse.blogspot.com

"One person's hate speech is another person's education."

Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, who teaches at UC Santa Cruz, and Leila Beckwith, professor emeritus at UCLA, are fighting a lonely battle to protest anti-Jewish harassment on UC campuses through their AMCHA Initiative. In this latest letter to UC president Mark Yudof, they protest the latest such incidents on UC campuses.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear President Yudof:

Last week, two shameful events occurred on University of California campuses that made Jewish students feel targeted, intimidated, harassed, and unsafe.  We charge the UC administration with failing in their basic responsibilities: to protect Jewish students from a hostile environment and to ensure their rights to freedom of speech.

On February 27 at UC Davis, Jewish student groups sponsored the presentation of talks by two Israelis, one Jewish the other Druze.  The speakers were repeatedly interrupted by hecklers, whose intent was clearly to disrupt the proceedings.

Not only did a heckler hurl outrageous accusations against one of the speakers, calling him a "rapist" and "child molester," but the heckler brazenly stated: “I will stand here and heckle you until you leave…My only purpose is that this event is shut down.”   The heckler also told audience members that he was paid $50 by "Muslim students" to disrupt the event.

Twenty-four hours before the Jewish students' event, members of the UCD Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) sent a communication to SJP supporters outlining a two-pronged strategy for shutting down the event: they would pack the room with pro-Palestinian students who would leave en masse in the middle of the event, and some students would remain to continuously heckle the Israeli speakers. Both parts of the strategy were carried out at the event, as you can see HERE, and the event ultimately had to be curtailed because of the disruption.

Besides illegally conspiring to disrupt a lawful meeting and thereby suppress the freedom of speech of the Jewish students and their speakers, members of the SJP and their supporters created a physically and emotionally hostile environment for the Jewish students.  According to one eyewitness:

"As fear of physical altercations mounted, several "911" calls were made. The campus police appeared but refused to remove, reprimand or otherwise take any action against the disrupters. The police stated they were given "orders" not to take action against the disrupters, but instead, to close down the program if it got out of hand."
Shockingly, and in stark contrast to your repeated assertions that the University is committed to protecting the rights of free speech and ensuring the safety of all students, the campus police did nothing, and even refused to take the names of disrupters.  In addition, at least two high-level UC Davis administrators were present at the event, and they, too, refused to respond to these egregious violations of University policy and state law, which left Jewish students feeling unsafe and violated.

A few days later, on February 29, SJP students at UC San Diego brought to the Associated Students Council for the third consecutive year a resolution asking the University of California to engage in a secondary boycott of Israel by divesting from American firms that do business with the  Israeli Defense Forces.  The resolution was defeated after seven hours, but the Jewish students and faculty who supported Israel were harassed and bullied by pro-Palestinian supporters and falsely accused of racism.

Several Jewish attendees felt targeted and threatened at the meeting: A UCSD faculty member reported that it was “emotionally difficult to bear the hatred and lies.” The president of the student group, Tritons for Israel, stated that “Jewish students feel targeted, and Jewish students don’t feel as safe or comfortable on campus.”  Another Jewish student said, “ I am unsafe on this campus when there is talk of divestment…and by voting ‘yes’ you are making the campus very hostile for students who go here.”  The Hillel Director stated: “Many of our students clearly suffered a traumatic blow from that experience.  I witnessed the verbal assault on Jewish students and the tears that followed.”  At the conclusion of the meeting, one Jewish student, concerned that other Jewish students might be physically assaulted on their way home, cautioned them to avoid walking alone.   (In this video, Jewish students at UCSD describe the hostility they experienced as a result of the anti-Israel divestment campaign on their campus).

In light of your May, 2010 statement that the University of California would not divest from Israel, the SJP resolution was a wholly symbolic gesture intended to further the well-coordinated international campaign to economically strangle the Jewish state and bring about its destruction, a campaign which the US State Department has deemed anti-Semitic.  Sadly, the resolution effort revealed the utter ineffectiveness of what you had previously touted to the Jewish community as one of your “assertive” moves to address anti-Jewish bigotry.
Please understand that the student groups behind these incidents are not like other University-funded student organizations.  The SJP has as its primary mission the promotion of anti-Israel boycott, divestment, and sanctions campaigns and others efforts to harm the Jewish state.  SJP chapters on UC campuses are closely allied with Al-Awda: the Palestine Right to Return Coalition, an organization which advocates the elimination of the Jewish state and has ties to terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah that call for the murder of Jews world-wide. Many students in the SJP are also members of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), an organization founded by the Muslim Brotherhood, a virulently anti-Semitic Egyptian-based organization dedicated to instituting Sharia law and a Muslim empire throughout the world, in part by means of violent jihad.  According to an NYPD police spokesman, "some of the most dangerous Western Al Qaeda-linked/inspired terrorists since 9/11 were radicalized and/or recruited at universities in MSAs," and more than a dozen former MSA leaders and members have been convicted of terrorist activities and plots.

http://www.investigativeproject.org/3460/why-muslim-student-group-concerned-the-nypd

In addition, some pro-Palestinian UC students have expressed support for the Iranian regime, whose supreme religious leader recently called for the destruction of Israel and the annihilation of all Jews. In fact, one student who participated in the disruption of the Jewish students' event at UC Davis can be seen holding an Iranian flag in the left-hand side of a video clip of the event.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45MB-ANIVls

These two incidents cannot be written off as political disputes between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel students. The culpability for the harassment and intimidation lies squarely with the students from pro-Palestinian organizations and their supporters, who have directed their unmitigated, anti-Semitic hatred of the Jewish state against Jewish students who openly identify with it.

The two incidents that took place last week are by no means isolated events.  They are merely the most recent examples of the longstanding and pervasive pattern of emotional and physical harassment that has been directed specifically at Jewish students, primarily by members of Muslim and pro-Palestinian student organizations with virulently anti-Semitic agendas.  To make matters worse, the SJP and MSA students and their anti-Israel campaigns have found considerable support from numerous other student organizations, as well as from UC faculty and administrators.  (For example, an Israel Apartheid Week event presented by the UCSD-MSA in 2010, which was replete with speakers, exhibits and imagery that demonized and delegitimized Israel and her supporters, was endorsed by the SJP and 8 other student organizations, and sponsored by 18 academic departments and administrative units on that campus, including the Literature and Ethnic Studies Departments and the Office of Graduate Studies and Thurgood Marshall College).

http://amchainitiative.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/20120304172603306.pdf

We must state the obvious: Jewish students face a concerted campaign of hatred, harassment and intimidation that has been promulgated by fellow students, professors, and administrators. No other minority on campus has been subjected to such a campaign, nor would the University administration tolerate such bigoted behavior were it to be directed against any other minority.  In this regard, we believe that the University of California has a clear and discriminatory double standard towards Jewish students, one which is anti-Semitic in effect if not in intent.
On several occasions we have called for transparent, well-articulated policies to guarantee the safety of Jewish students and to ensure them an environment that is neither hostile nor threatening, and on each occasion you have ignored our request.   We still believe these are essential and urge you to implement such policies as soon as possible.
Now, however, we call on you and the UC Chancellors to issue a public statement that: 1) condemns the campaign of intimidation and harassment of Jewish students that violates their rights to freedom of expression; and 2) denounces the economic and academic boycott of Israel and acknowledges its hostile impact on Jewish students.

We also encourage other members and supporters of the California Jewish community -- many of them UC alumni, parents, and donors -- to add their voices to ours in urging you to issue such a statement.

The Jewish community will not remain silent while Jewish students continue to be harassed and intimidated on UC campuses, and University administrators turn a blind eye.

Sincerely,

Of course, Yudof will basically ignore this letter or send them a non-committal response. This crap has been going on for years-even before he took over as UC president. To Yudof, it is all free speech, and nothing can be done other than his much-vaunted Campus Climate charade and the infamous Olive Tree Initiative.

In the good old days, campus bullies and those who engaged in physical intimidation could be quickly expellled. Why that is not the policy now goes to the heart of the rot that has crept into our universities over the course of decades.

To the above videos and links, I would like to add one more. It shows one example of physical intimidation at UC Irvine in the past few years. The below YouTube video is from May 2008 at UCI. At about the 1:40 mark, an MSU student confronts a photographer.

That was not the only confrontation that individual was involved in during his years as a UCI student. Nevertheless, he is now a UCI graduate.

There is so much more that has been documented over the years. Reut Cohen, a Jewish UCI grad, had a camera shoved in her face as she filmed an MSU speaker a few years back. There was the Jewish female photographer, who, after filming an evening speech by Amir Abdel Malik Ali, was accosted and surrounded at her car by MSU male students as the campus police stood around and refused to take action.

But if you really want a flavor of how the university reacts to these problems, all you have to do is read this article in today's New University, the UCI campus paper.

So to Tammi and Leila, I applaud you for having the courage to speak out and demand action from Yudof. Just don't expect any results.

Middle School Coach Fired For Writing An Anti-Obama Song!

A 26 year-old Tennessee middle school coach lost his job because he wrote and performed a song critical of President Barack Obama.

The song isn’t dirty; it doesn’t use racist language; doesn’t call names. It is a fairly straight ahead country tune with a political point of view. But it is anti-Obama

If you wish to contact the writer, at this time I suggest you visit the website above. I'm just a fellow patriot.

Can you believe the writer of this song was fired from his job because of this song?

What Barack Hussein Obama Has Done For America

Stolen from Texas Fred

31 Foregone Facts Barack Obama Fans Should Ponder!

6. If a previous president had passed an unconstitutional law that would have absorbed 1/6th of the America’s entire GDP, forced Americans to purchase a private product (in violation of the commerce clause), fined them if they didn’t, hired 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce it, and exempted 1400 organizations from having to abide by that new law, would you have thought him a mafia boss?

7. If a previous president joined the country of Mexico and sued a state in America to force that state to continue to allow illegal immigration, would you have questioned his patriotism and priorities and wonder who his allegiance was to?

10. If a previous president had used a forged document as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87,000 American workers unemployed would you have supported him?

11. If a previous president had been the first president to need a teleprompter to get through a press conference, would you have thought this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and that he’s really controlled by smarter people behind the scenes?

12. If a previous president had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take his wife to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

13. If a previous president had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90%, given the unions a majority stake in the car maker and shut down 789 perfectly profitable Chrysler dealerships because they were were owned by registered republicans, would you have approved?

14. If a previous president had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

15. If a previous president had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs when Gordon Brown gave him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

16. If a previous president had given the Queen of England an iPod containing audios of his speeches, would you have thought it a proud moment for America, or that a narcissist occupied the White House?

17. If a previous president had bowed to Kings of third world countries while on an apologetic tour, would you have approved?

18. If a previous president had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent “Austrian language,” would you have thought it a minor slip?

19. If a previous president had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who don’t pay their own income taxes, would you have approved?

20. If a previous president had said there were 57 states in the United States, wouldn’t you have been shocked?

21. If a previous president would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out of his front door in his home town, would you not have thought him a conceited, egomaniac?

22. If a previous president had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have not been embarrassed?

23. If a previous president had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on “Earth Day,” would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?

24. If a previous presidents’ administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan that caused widespread panic, would you have thought him insensitive and clueless about what actually happened on 9/11?

25. If a previous president had created the position of 45 Czars who reported directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate and usurping the Constitution, would you have ever approved?

26. If a previous president had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

27. If a previous president had spent nearly $2 million dollars hiding his identity all the way back to his childhood, would you have been suspicious?

28. If a previous president had been raised a Muslim, spent more time living abroad in Islamic countries than he did in the United States, hung out with terrorists, and attended a hate church for 20 years, would you have not thought him brainwashed?

29. If a previous president had received a Nobel Peace Prize for nothing more than out campaigning his competitors, would you have thought him the laughing stock of recipients?

30. If a previous president had ordered a botched illegal gun running operation that resulted in American arms winding up in the hands of foreign drug cartels who in turn murdered Americans, would he have not had blood on his hands and been ordered to resign?

31. If a previous president had released a fraudulent long form birth certificate and was factually proven ineligible to even be the president whether he was born on American soil or not, would you have not demanded impeachment?
If any of this was done by George W. Bush the Main Lame Stream Media would have been their top story for weeks if not months.

Remember this:  Franklin Delano Roosevelt inherited a real economic mess.  Never once during his administration did he, his advisors or members of the Democratic Party ever try to push the blame of a slow economic recovery on Herbert Hoover.  In fact they went out of their way not to.

Remember all of this on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 when you are in the voting booth and wondering who to vote for.

Bull Sh*t Upon The Jews!

Book of Obama Chapter 14

Upon the 4th day of the month of March, in the year of 2012 (10 Adar 5772) The Anointed One returned to Assembly of AIPAC and spoke.

I bring you greetings, My brothers and sisters.
I bring you My words of peace (and appeasement).

Now is not the time for war.  It is not the time of attack.
We can attack Iran in October.  (When I will need the boost in my poll numbers to win re-election.)
All the Israelis need to do is trust in Me.
For I will protect them.
I am their savior, their rock, their greatest fan.
For without Me there is no Israel.
(Even with Me there is no Israel.)
I will do the right thing.  I am the Chosen One.
And the Assembly of AIPAC sat there, clapped politely, but did not cheer for Him.  They looked to each other and would not believe the words of The Anointed OneHe had lied to them many times before.
I will stop your enemy Iran from making nukes.
I will give more arms to Israel.
I will no longer force the issue on Jerusalem.

My diplomacy against the evil Iran will work.
I speak softly but I carry a big stick.

Will you not support Me?
My coffers are bleeding dry.
(Give Me your money.)
The Assembly of AIPAC kept their wallets shut.  No money for thee they said.  And as for the big stick The Anointed One spoke of, they know it is nothing more than a small putter.

Exposing Anti-Israel Indoctrination on Campus

Amir Abdel Malik Ali chatting with yours truly
with MSU toughies in background

Charles Jacobs and Avi Goldwasser, co-founders of the David Project, have written an important article for The Forward. It concerns the anti-Israel indoctrination that is going on within our universities.

http://www.forward.com/articles/152224/

I heartily concur with what Messers Jacobs and Goldwasser have written. The biggest issue of contention on college campuses today is the Israel-Palestinian conflict. It is undeniable that the left and the pro-Palestinian forces are dominating the discussion. It is part of a world-wide effort to discredit and deligitimize the Jewish state.

One might ask, "Why is this issue so prevalent on college campuses?" It is because this is where the future leaders of our country are walking the hallways as we speak. Why is there no comparable discussion of the horrors occurring daily in the Middle East and places like Iran and Pakistan? Why is there no discussion of the religious persecution that is on-going in almost every Muslim country? Why Israel? I think Jacobs and Goldwasser have provided most of the answers.

The Jewish community, especially those that have children attending college, need to wake up to this serious issue. They need to closely examine their Jewish organizations that they have heretofore supported and ask why they are not speaking out. When your Jewish leaders tell you everything is fine on the local campus, go and see for yourself. Attend the MSA-sponsored events and listen to the anti-Semitic words of many of their speakers (as I have). Don't be afraid to speak out and defend your own point of view. Don't be afraid to write to your university president and local politicians to complain when you hear hate speech on campus. Don't be afraid to ask left-wing Jewish activists why they have joined with the forces that want to destroy Israel and drive the Jews into the sea.

Finally I say, wake up to the realities. Anti-Semitism is on the march and has made its way back into the mainstream. There are many Gentiles who stand with you. But you have to get involved.

Free Contraception For Women But Veterans Health Care Costs Raise Over 350%

How nice that Sandra Fuck Fluke will impose her immorality on the nation and get the US Taxpayer to pay for her Contraceptives, but Sgt. Jones a veteran of the military will be paying the government a raise to their Tri-Care of over 350%.

Miss Fuck Fluke complained to Congress that it costs her $3000 for her contraceptives while at Georgetown Law School.  Georgetown which costs her a year:  $23,432.50.  Which is $70,296 without the cost of books, housing, food or even her contraceptives.  Does Miss Fuck Fluke want the US taxpayers to pay for her books, housing and food too?  I guess not since she isn't demanding that one (yet).

Just who is Sandra Fuck Fluke?   The Democrat’s token abused college coed is actually a 30 year-old hardcore women’s rights activist.  A "Professional Activist".  Always challenging institution who will not kowtow to her ideas.  Fluke is not 23-she is 30, and she is a professional women's rights activist who chose Georgetown specifically because their insurance policy did not cover contraceptives, which she wanted to challenge. Neat.

Now the average veteran makes a limited benefit.  A raise of over 350% for his or her Tri-Care will prevent these families from affording health insurance and they will be forced onto a "government" program.  Exactly what the left wants all Americans to do.  (For some obscene reason they want the United States to become just like Europe.)

I have a better idea, let Miss Fuck Fluke get the Government healthcare and give our Veterans and their families totally free Medical care.  They have earned it, she hasn't and never will.

Who Wants A Volt?

It seems that no one wants a Volt.  That is why General Motors is suspending the production of the vehicle.
Chevrolet Volt (Chevrolet)

General Motors will suspend Chevrolet Volt production from March 19th to April 23rd in order to bring supply of the plug-in hybrid car in line with demand, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Chevrolet sold 1,023 Volts in February, which up from 603 in January, but far from the 60,000-unit annual output originally planned for when the car was launched in December, 2010. Less than 8,000 Volts were sold in all of 2011.

GM spokesperson Chris Lee told the newspaper that 1,300 employees at the Hamtramck, Michigan, assembly plant where the Volt is built would be temporarily laid off during the production freeze.

Volt production was also halted for several weeks from late December until February 6th to re-engineer the car to address fire concerns raised during government crash testing.

Read more here

Most companies try to increase production of a line, but ever since the US Government took over General Motors they have done everything just to spend the taxpayer's money.  The Volt was a good idea, but the execution of the idea was terrible.  Perhaps control of the company should be handed back to the stockholders and not to the union.

A Prayer

A reminder to say a prayer for all those who have died,
For all those who have lost all they own,
For those who are hiding in fear due to their weather.

Through out the Midwest and the South the tornado sirens are sounding.
A reported tornado touched down in Alabama on Friday, destroying homes between Athens and eastern Limestone County, emergency officials said.

There was no immediate word on any injuries, but the Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Office said ambulances are responding to neighborhoods near Huntsville. A state corrections official also said a reported twister hit the Limestone Correctional Facility in northern Alabama.

Thousands of Alabama schoolchildren have been ordered to leave school early because of the threat of tornadoes and other severe weather across the northern half of the state.

Davy Jones 30 Dec 1945 - 19 Feb 2012

Born in Manchester, England, began his career at the age of 11, losing his mother at the age of 14, David Thomas "Davy" Jones knew hardship in his early years.  In 1965 he became part of The Monkees and the rest was history.
Davy Jones, the lead singer of the pop group The Monkees, died Wednesday at the age of 66, his publicist confirmed to Fox News.

"The only thing we can do is confirm that he has died of a heart attack at Indiantown, Florida this morning," his rep Helen Kensick told Fox News. "We will have more later.

The local medical examiner released a statement Wednesday confirming that they had been notified of the singer's death.

"The District 19 Medical Examiner's office has been notified of the death of Mr. Davy Jones," spokeswoman Rebecca Shortridge said. "We are currently evaluating whether or not the medical examiner's office will take jurisdiction."

Jones, who last performed Feb. 19 in Oklahoma, formed the Monkees in 1966 with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork.

Their biggest hits included "Daydream Believer," "Last Train to Clarksville" and "I'm a Believer" and they also had a television show.A former racehorse jockey, Jones turned to acting and then became lead singer when he joined The Monkees in 1965 and the band embarked on a wildly popular U.S. television show. Jones sang lead vocals on songs such as "I Wanna Be Free" and "Daydream Believer."

The band was assembled as with its personnel designed to be the instant stars of an American TV series seeking to evoke the Beatles, then already famous for their music and such films as "A Hard Day's Night and "Help!"

Auditions for The Monkees were held in the fall of 1965, attracting some 500 applicants. Jones -- who was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Manchester, England -- had stylishly long hair and a British accent that helped with his selection. He would go on to achieve heartthrob status in the United States.

Nonetheless, musical ability wasn't paramount in the casting decisions. While Mike Nesmith and Peter Tork had some musical experience, Mickey Dolenz had been a child actor, as had Jones along with being a jockey in his native England.

In August 1966, the Beatles performed in San Francisco, playing their last live set for a paying audience. The same month, the Monkees released their first album, introducing the world to the group that would star in the NBC series when it premiered in September 1966.

The first single, "Last Train to Clarksville," became a No. 1 hit. And the show caught on with audiences, featuring fast-paced, helter-skelter comedy inspired as much by the Marx Brothers as the Beatles.

It was a shrewd case of cross-platform promotion. As David Bianculli noted in his "Dictionary of Teleliteracy," "The show's self-contained music videos, clear forerunners of MTV, propelled the group's first seven singles to enviable positions of the pop charts: three number ones, two number twos, two number threes."

And though initially the Monkees weren't allowed to play their own instruments, they were supported by enviable talent: Carole King and Gerry Goffin wrote "Pleasant Valley Sunday," and Neil Diamond penned "I'm a Believer."

Musicians who played on their records included Billy Preston (who only later played with the Beatles), Glen Campbell, Leon Russell, Ry Cooder and Neil Young.

After two seasons, the TV series had flared out and was canceled in the summer of 1968. But the Monkeys remained a nostalgia act for decades, firmly entrenched in the American musical imagination.

According to The Monkees website -- Monkees.com -- Jones left the band in late 1970. In the summer of 1971, he recorded a solo hit "Rainy Jane" and made a series of appearances on American variety and television shows, including "Love American Style" and "The Brady Bunch."

Jones played himself in a widely popular Brady Bunch episode, which aired in late 1971. In the episode, Marcia Brady, president of her school's Davy Jones fan club, promised she could get him to sing at a school dance.

Amid lingering nostalgia for the Monkees, Jones teamed up in the mid-1980s with former Monkee Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz and promoter David Fishof for a reunion tour. Their popularity prompted MTV to re-air The Monkees series, introducing the group to a new audience.

In 1987, Jones, Tork and Micky Dolenz recorded a new album, "Pool It." Two years later, the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In the late 1990s, the group filmed a special called "Hey, Hey, It's the Monkees."

Jones is survived by his wife, Jessica.

In the 1960's I was a kid and I loved The Monkees.  It was fun to watch, the music was good, and to our parents they left the impression of being drug-free, clean cut and a bit crazy.  But then again their show was a bit crazy.
