"Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God"

Right-Wind Extremism Report Issued Despite Objections
Fox News

WASHINGTON -- Civil liberties officials at the Homeland Security Department did not agree with some of the language in a controversial report on right-wing extremists, but the agency issued the report anyway.

The intelligence assessment issued to law enforcement last week said some military veterans could be susceptible to extremist recruiters or commit lone acts of violence. That prompted angry reactions from some lawmakers and veterans' groups.
--------------------------------------------

As history has repeatedly proven, once a nascent protest movement begins to succeed and achieve a certain level of public acceptance and validation, it can easily devolve into an entrenched political entity, virtually indistinguishable from any other entrenched political entity, with its own newly-acquired set of selfish goals and objectives. One of their most important goals inevitably becomes self-perpetuation -- often by even more ruthless means than the original tyranny against which they successfully battled. At some point, this political survivalist mentality can, and usuallydoes, completely subsume the lofty goals of the original movement. Thus a new -- and perhaps even more dangerous tyranny is born. A tyranny, like all tyrannies, whose primary mission is to sustain itself at all costs.

How many times during these last few turbulent centuries have we seen this fateful scenario play itself out on the world's stage -- in Robespierre's France, in Hitler's Germany, Stalin's Russia, Mao's China, Castro's Cuba -- all with invariably murderous consequences?

But what happens if the primary goals of the original protest movement are actually realized? Does the movement then merely melt away and quietly re-assimilate itself back into that society which it has successfully transformed? Hardly. The movement's leaders have too much invested in the Cause to simply disband their troops and ride off into the sunset. Through the Cause these leaders have achieved power, and power seldom voluntarily walks off the stage.

With their original goals accomplished and their real or theoretical enemies defeated, what possible purpose can be served by their continuing existence? They have now essentially become Rebels Without a Cause. How, then, can they perpetuate their own legitimacy?
The answer of course is to ignore the reality of their victories and create new enemies -- or to somehow skillfully resurrect the old ones.

Virtually every successful revolutionary movement which has morphed into a tyranny has sustained itself in this manner. The once fanatical revolutionaries are now battling counter-revolutionaries. Their entire raison d'etre has now become to prosecute this never-ending battle to purportedly protect the achievements of the Glorious Revolution from its innumerable reactionary enemies. This is an unalterable prerequisite to their survival; there can be no successful tyranny without enemies. Thus the Revolution becomes a perpetual 'work-in-progress', a never-ending war. Now, ironically, to admit success would be to admit defeat. They must continuously convince their followers, or subjects, that they are constantly under siege from these relentless counter revolutionary forces. The leaders are now to be viewed as society's protectors, protecting the helpless vulnerables from the predatory Enemy. And if perchance there is no viable predatory enemy, then they must create one.

Excerpted from Elect Obama, Destroy America.

------------------------------------------

It appears that we, we traditional Americans, are in dire straits. We're on the wrong side of history. Through our selfishness and rampant imperialism we have put ourselves at odds with the rest of the world. But fear not, although we have greatly sinned, salvation is at hand. We must be prepared however to undergo a painful national catharsis. But, thankfully, we are not alone; we will be led though this cultural upheaval by the mighty hand of Obama. Although the above quote refers to the undeniable social, cultural and political achievements of the sixties, it is I believe equally applicable to the present Obama Administration. Carried to victory on an almost hysterical tidal wave of revolutionary rhetoric, calling for drastic social and governmental change ,"Change we can believe in", it would hardly be a stretch to call the Obama victory a bloodless revolution, a monumental effort to create an entirely new America. If we accept this reasonable analogy, then the above criteria fits like a glove. ‘And if perchance there is no viable predatory enemy, then they must create one‘. Should we really be surprised that the Administration is now in the process of producing a putative national enemy, Right-Wing subversives hell-bent on the destruction of the State.

This necessity of the nascent revolutionary state to produce a viable enemy has, as we have seen, played itself out on history’s stage many times in many eras. Let us just examine one: Hitler Third Reich.

The Burning of the Reichstag and Hitler’s Enabling Act

Reichstag fire

The Reichstag Fire Decree (German: Reichstagsbrandverordnung) is the common name of the Order of the Reich President for the Protection of People and State issued by German President Paul von Hindenburg in direct response to the Reichstag fire of February 27, 1933, which was blamed, somewhat incredulously, on the Nazi's most formidable foe, the Communists. The decree nullified many of the key civil liberties of German citizens. With Nazis in powerful positions in the German government, the decree was used as the legal basis of imprisonment of anyone considered to be opponents of the Nazi, and to suppress publications not considered "friendly" to the Nazi cause. The decree is considered by historians to be one of the key steps in the establishment of a one-party Nazi state in Germany.

Obama's Great Stretch

Oklahoma City bombing

Unfortunately for the Obama gang there have been no significant Right Wing attacks on the government since Timothy McVeigh's bloody Oklahoma City Bombing of April 1995. No matter. The fact that it happened once establishes precedent. Now all you have to do is drag out all those FBI photos of Skinhead Neo-Nazi groups marching with swastikas to effectively construct a viable 'enemy'. Having established this existential threat to the government, the next logical steps would be to begin prosecutions and internments, while simultaneously building up a large paramilitary force, swearing allegiance to President Obama himself, a force considerably larger than the regular standing army. This cynical act of totalitarian prestidigitation is called usurpation, or even more to the point, tyranny.

My friends, if you were beginning to feel subsumed by an omnipotent Nanny State before, just you wait. Your most preposterous nightmares are standing at the door.

Question: Given this undeniable historical precedent, are we going to just stand by mute while the Obama Administration pulls off this blatant power grab? Or are we going to fight back? Perhaps the Tea Parties are just the beginning. Perhaps we're stronger than we realize.
God bless America. - rg

Bibi's Condition!

Israel's new Prime Minister is one sneaky fellow. Instead of ranting and raving against the US's insistence on forcing Israel to accept the Saudi Peace Plan Saudi Plan for Israel's Suicide, he just
made one little concession for the Palestinians to make in order for Israel to accept a 2-State Solution:

Full Recognition of Israel as a Jewish nation. And agreeing to Israel's right to exist as a nation.

Just one little concession.

I wonder if the Palestinians will conceed this at the earliest date possible (today) or will wait for better conditions.

Either way. Bibi has shown that unlike Olmert, he has a set of balls. And they are made of brass.

Chief Palestinian Negotiator Saeb Erekat: 'Abbas Rejected Israel's Proposal at Annapolis Like Arafat Rejected the Camp David 2000 Proposal

Following are excerpts from a television debate with chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat. The debate aired on Al-Jazeera TV on March 27, 2009.

To view this MEMRI TV clip, visit http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/2074.htm.

"Arafat Was Besieged at Camp David and Was Killed Unjustly, Only Because He Adhered to Jerusalem"

Saeb Erekat: "I am sitting in Jericho, in the house where I was born, four kilometers from the Jordan River, and there are Israeli flags from the Jordan River all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. Therefore, we are living under Israeli occupation. But let me say that Jerusalem has not been - and will not be - lost. Three hundred thousand Palestinian citizens live in Jerusalem.

[…]

"Jerusalem has not gone anywhere. Jerusalem is here to stay - in the same place throughout the ages. The important thing is for us to return and to liberate Jerusalem.

[…]

"It is true that the negotiations continued for many years, but don’t you know that President Yasser Arafat was besieged at Camp David and was killed unjustly, only because he adhered to Jerusalem, and because he refused to let the Israeli measures on the ground give rise to any [Israeli] right or any [Palestinian] obligation? The Palestinian negotiators could have given in in 1994, 1998, or 2000, and two months ago, brother Abu Mazen [i.e. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud 'Abbas] could have accepted a proposal that talked about Jerusalem and almost 100% of the West Bank, but it is not our goal to score points against one another here.

"Our strategic goal, when we strive for peace, is not to do so at any price. We strive for peace on the basis of an Israeli withdrawal to the June 4, 1967 borders, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and with the West Bank and the Gaza Strip geographically connected." […]

"An Independent Palestinian State Within the 1967 Borders, With East Jerusalem As Its Capital - This Is What We Can Achieve in Our Generation"

"There will be no peace whatsoever unless East Jerusalem - with every single stone in it - becomes the capital of Palestine.

[…]

"In my family, we are seven siblings. My six brothers and sisters are in the diaspora. But this does not deny them the right to inherit this land. Ten million Palestinians own Palestine, just like I do. Our survival and steadfastness on this land, our wresting of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital - this is what we can achieve in our generation."[…]

Arafat Told Clinton: "I Will Not Be a Traitor"; 'Abbas Told Olmert: "I Am Not At a Marketplace or a Bazaar - I Came to Demarcate the Borders of Palestine - The June 4, 1967 Borders"

"Let me recount two historical events, even if I am revealing a secret. On July 23, 2000, at his meeting with President Arafat in Camp David, President Clinton said: 'You will be the first president of a Palestinian state, within the 1967 borders - give or take, considering the land swap - and East Jerusalem will be the capital of the Palestinian state, but we want you, as a religious man, to acknowledge that the Temple of Solomon is located underneath the Haram Al-Sharif.'

"Yasser Arafat said to Clinton defiantly: 'I will not be a traitor. Someone will come to liberate it after 10, 50, or 100 years. Jerusalem will be nothing but the capital of the Palestinian state, and there is nothing underneath or above the Haram Al-Sharif except for Allah.' That is why Yasser Arafat was besieged, and that is why he was killed unjustly.

"In November 2008… Let me finish… [Israeli prime minister Ehud] Olmert, who talked today about his proposal to Abu Mazen, offered the 1967 borders, but said: 'We will take 6.5% of the West Bank, and give in return 5.8% from the 1948 lands, and the 0.7% will constitute the safe passage, and East Jerusalem will be the capital, but there is a problem with the Haram and with what they called the Holy Basin.' Abu Mazen too answered with defiance, saying: 'I am not in a marketplace or a bazaar. I came to demarcate the borders of Palestine - the June 4, 1967 borders - without detracting a single inch, and without detracting a single stone from Jerusalem, or from the holy Christian and Muslim places.' This is why the Palestinian negotiators did not sign…"

TV host: "Okay…"

"Any Arrangements Regarding East Jerusalem Are Categorically Unacceptable"

Saeb Erekat: "This is the Palestinian position."

TV host: "But let’s return to Camp David. When you were at the meetings with Shlomo Ben-Ami… After two weeks of meetings between Barak, Arafat, and Clinton, which led to nothing, there was a meeting at which you proposed that there be [Palestinian] sovereignty, with arrangements in the Old City, including the Haram Al-Sharif. In other words, you proposed Palestinian sovereignty, with Israel playing a role in the administrative aspects. In other words, Israel would participate in the administration of the Haram area - unlike the 'reduced sovereignty' demanded by Shlomo Ben-Ami at that meeting. In other words, you wanted to let [Israel] play a role, one way or another, with regard to the so-called Holy Basin."

Saeb Erekat: "They will never have this. Like President Abu Mazen said in front of President Bush and Prime Minister Olmert: I am not in a marketplace or a bazaar. East Jerusalem is an occupied area, just like Khan Yunis, Jericho, and Nablus were. Its status in international law will never be anything else. Therefore, any arrangements regarding East Jerusalem are categorically unacceptable."
For the record:

Yasser Arafat was offered everything including Jerusalem in 1999. What wasn't offered was The Law of Return. That has never been a condition that would ever be acceptable to Israel. Never, NO, Forget it exists.

Yasser Arafat rejected Camp David outright because of that.

Olmert offered the same deal to Abbas. He has rejected it outright and will only accept the Saudi Plan. Obama is trying to force the Saudi Plan down Israeli throats.

Needless to say it isn't going to work.

We Jews are a thick necked and stubborn people.

Reformist Arab Writer: The Policy of Rejecting Normalization with Israel Is a Political Decision of Unmatched Stupidity

In an article posted March 26, 2009, in the Arab liberal e-journal Elaph, Jordanian-American author Dr. Shaker Al-Nabulsi criticized the Arab countries for rejecting normalization with Israel, in which, he argued they were motivated by negativism that is inculcated by self-serving political leaders into Arab mentality. Al-Nabulsi stated that it was Egypt and Jordan rather than Israel that benefited from their peace treaties with Israel, that Israel was disillusioned and disheartened by the Arabs' attitude towards it, and that it had no incentive to sign any more peace treaties with the Arabs.

Following are excerpts from Al-Nabulsi's article: [1]

If Not for the Arabs' "Brazen Negativism," a Solution to the Palestinian Problem Would Not Be So Long in Coming

"On March 26, 1979, Egypt and Israel signed a peace treaty. Thus Egypt - the biggest and most important state involved in the Arab-Israeli conflict - became the first country to have peaceful relations with Israel. This took the entire world by surprise, caused an upheaval in the Arab street, and shook the foundations of the Arab and Muslim world. This upheaval, however, was nothing but a commotion raised by a flock of cocks who fell into a puddle of water, scrambled out, and were now shaking their feathers dry. The Arabs, who are not used to abrupt rational turns of civilization, went berserk. They resisted the impending peace, embodied in the person of their courageous and rational leader, President [Anwar] Al-Sadat, who had restored to Egypt everything it had lost on account of Abd Al-Nasser's political and military adventures, which had [brought it] destruction and devastation.

"Although Sadat installed Egypt in a place it well deserved in both the Middle East and worldwide, the Arabs were engulfed by a mad rage that knew no bounds. Today, 30 years after Sadat's historic move, they have begun to come to their senses and regret everything they did to Egypt and rejecting peace [with Israel]. They are gnawing their knuckles in remorse over their past acts of lunacy: expelling Egypt from the Arab League (aka the Fools' Café) and transferring the Arab League headquarters from Cairo to Tunis; boycotting books by Naguib Mahfouz and films based on them; employing all sorts of ugly measures against Egypt and placing it on the same cup of the scales with their worst enemy, Israel.

"The Arabs rejected normalization [with Israel] because [accepting it would have been] a positive [move], while resisting it was a negative [move]. It is much easier to say 'No' in Arabic, [inasmuch as] the Arabs are a negative people. [Indeed,] if not for this brazen negativism, a solution to the Palestinian problem and the establishment of the Palestinian state would not have tarried these past 60 years. The Palestinians will never achieve anything as long as the Arabs persist in their fanaticism and negativism, [fail to gain] self-confidence, continue nurturing in their minds the culture of war, and are unable to form a correct and realistic view of the future."

"The Culture of Peace in the Arab Countries Is Nonexistent"

"Why did the Arabs act in this way in 1979 and thereafter - [as if] they were controlled by demons [destroying] peace and angels [instigating] war? The most obvious answer is that, in the Arab world, the culture of peace is virtually nonexistent, while the culture of war predominates, due to declarations by mendacious political leaders concerning [everyone's] obligation to support armed struggle. In their own countries, these politicians are plagued by social and political problems, as well as [the lack of] economic development - which [prompts them] to opt for supporting armed struggle, in order to divert their subjects' attention from the problems that keep piling up in their countries…

"Moreover, sponsoring resistance movements does these regimes a great service, in that it enhances their power and influence, and at the same time enables them to hang their various problems onto one hanger, which is Israel and America. This, [in turn,] desensitizes the masses and inculcates their minds with the notions that the West and Israel are weak, that Israel will disappear in the near future, and that a miraculous political figure is about to come and restore to the Palestinians their [occupied] lands. Thus, the culture of peace in these countries does not exist, nor can it be cultivated, due to a lack of education and free media that would instill into the citizens' minds humanistic values, which - as Lafif Lakhdar has shown - are the backbone of the culture of peace. Neither do these states teach the young generation to think independently, to reason realistically and rationally, or to free themselves from obsession with [political] affiliations and religious fighting.

"The policy of rejecting normalization with Israel pursued by the two Arab countries that signed peace treaties with it (Egypt and especially Jordan) is a hideous political crime against the Palestinians, which is being committed, [albeit] unwittingly, by the Arabs. This policy, which is promoted by Islamist and pan-Arabist streams and by the proponents of rejectionism and deception, is a political decision of unmatched stupidity and foolishness. This idiotic policy of rejecting normalization has proved of great benefit to Israel, which is manifested in a number of ways:

1. Israel has been able to convey to world public opinion the following message: We want peace, but the Arabs refuse it, even though the [Arab] rulers have accepted it.

2. Israel presents itself as a country which is harassed and in need of protection by the West and the U.S., since all the Arabs are against it. Therefore, [it claims,] the political, financial, and military support to it must grow rather than diminish or stop altogether.

3. Israel's extreme right, led by Likud and Israel Beiteinu, have proved to the world that they are right while the Labor party and those who signed the two peace treaties with the Arabs were deluded and made a grave mistake. This resulted in a greater number of declarations by Netanyahu to the effect that the idea of 'land for peace' no longer exists, and that if Israel agrees to peace today, it must do so in return for peace rather than land. What prompted Netanyahu to make this claim is Israel's experience over the past 30 years, i.e., since the 1979 Camp David treaty - namely, the rejection and reticence of the Arabs, which has not encouraged Israel to sign any more such treaties."

"Israel Has Realized that a Peace Treaty with the Arabs Is Not Worth a Fig"

"4. Israel - its government, its public opinion, its Knesset, and its media - has realized and become convinced that a peace [treaty] with the Arabs is not worth a fig, or the paper it is written on. Consider Egypt. It got back the entire Sinai desert and also Taba, without losing one penny or one soldier. Moreover, not only did it allocate the funds which it would otherwise have spent on the army and weapons to various development projects, but in the past 30 years it has also received [U.S.] aid amounting to hundreds of billions [of Egyptian liras] (approximately 50 billion U.S. dollars). Yet the only thing Israel got in return is an apartment in Cairo, which they turned into an embassy, and in which the [Israeli] ambassador and the staff are [effectively] imprisoned. [Indeed,] they can move around only under the protection of the [Egyptian] intelligence and security guards. Israel is forbidden to participate in Egyptian public life, even in book fairs. In fact, Israel has no part whatsoever in Egyptian public life, and the same holds for Jordan.

"So how can we expect Israel to sign more peace agreements with the rest of the Arab countries, and especially Syria, after its [disheartening and] bitter experience with Egypt and Jordan. And nevertheless, without a comprehensive peace and despite all the above, over the past 30 years, Israel has progressed politically, militarily, culturally, and economically - while the Arabs lagged behind. The Arab [policy of] isolating Israel has given it strength and triggered its advancement. Except for some Arab countries, Israel is recognized by the entire world. Israel's army has become the strongest army in the Middle East. Its annual per capita income has reached $18,000, which amounts to the total per capita income for all Arab countries put together, excepting the Gulf states. Culturally and scientifically, Israel is one of the top countries in the world… Three of its universities (the Hebrew University [of |Jerusalem], Tel Aviv University, and Haifa University) are ranked among the 20 best universities in the world, while no Arab university is listed among [even] 400 best universities in the world (Cairo university is ranked 401)."

"Israel's Success and Most of Its Achievements Can Be Attributed to Failures and Defeats of the Arabs and Palestinians"

"All this Israel has accomplished in the shadow of [Arab] hostility and the media war waged against it by the Arabs. So what interest does Israel have in peace with the Arabs, which is illusory and fragile, which it [must buy] with precious Arab lands, and which - I repeat - is not worth a fig, or the paper on which [peace treaties] are written. We can conclude, therefore, that Israel's success and most of its achievements can be attributed to failures and defeats of the Arabs and Palestinians. If Israel's opponent were not the Palestinians with their stupid cowardly leadership, but some other nation, it would have established an independent state a long time ago.

"[Who were these Palestinian leaders?] There was Haj Amin Al-Husseini (an Al-Azhar student, who was kicked out of the university during his first year), Ahmad Al-Shuqeiri (an mediocre lawyer), Yasser Arafat (a civil engineer working for the Kuwait Minucipality), and Isma'il Haniyya (an imam at a mosque) - while, on Israel's side, there was [Theodor] Herzl (doctor of law) and the Rothschild family (the world's gold coffer). It is noteworthy, [by the way,] that the Rothschilds gave Harry Truman two million dollars for his election campaign on condition that he recognize Israel immediately upon his election - and this is precisely what happened. Then there was Ben Gurion, the outstanding leader who ended the right-wing Zionist terrorism.

"Whoever reads my book Settlement Train - A study in the Palestinian compromise, published in 1986, will realize what a great number of golden opportunities to establish the Palestinian state have been missed by the Palestinian and Arab leadership. The Palestinian leadership put their stakes on the Cold War between two superpowers, the U.S. and the Soviet Union, and did not anticipate the sudden fall of the Eastern Bloc. [As a consequence,] in the 90s, they became dependent on the U.S. By that time, however, the U.S. had already been allied to Israel with a number of strategic treaties (beginning in 1967), on account of which it came to regarded as America's 51st state.

"In sum, as we have shown, it was the Arabs who benefited from the partial peace between Israel and Jordan, while Israel was the loser. Therefore, Israel will not sign any more peace agreements with the Arabs in the near future - and if it does, it will be with extreme caution and on demanding conditions. And peace be upon you all."

[1] www.elaph.com, March 26, 2009.
Even when a writer condemns his own, he has to interject some Anti-Semitism. The Rothschilds never donated one cent to Harry Truman's campaign. Or any other US Presidental campaign for that matter. It is inconceivable to the Arab mind that a leader will do something without taking a bribe.

It wasn't a Labour government that made peace with Egypt, but a Likud government under the leadership of Menachem Begin. People tend to forget that.

From the way the Palestinian negotiator spoke, unless Israel agrees or is force to accept all the
Palestinian demands, there will be no peace.

That is NOT Negotiation. That IS Coercion and Extortion.

Both cannot and will not lead to any settlement!

Geert Wilders Is Doing It Again!

Dutch MP Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom, has announced that he is planning a sequel to his ground breaking (and Muslim riot causing) film: Fitna.
MP Geert Wilders is to make a follow-up to his 15 minute anti-Islam film Fitna, the leader of the anti-immigration party says in Thursday’s Telegraaf.

The new film should be finished next year and will ‘reflect how far the ‘islamisation’ [of the west] has progressed’, Wilders tells the paper

‘It will not be a copy of Fitna. This is the second phase,’ Wilders said. ‘I now want to show the consequences of mass immigration from Muslim countries.’ The film will focus on freedom of speech issues and the strict Islamic legal system known as sharia, he said.
MP Wilders was denied entry to Great Britian to show Fitna to assembled members of Parliament on 12 February 2009. He has been touring the US, speaking to various communities
and did show Fitna to the US Congress.

He is under indictment by Dutch authorities for hate speech, and is a proponent of Free Speech worldwide.

In a recent Dutch Poll, if elections were taken now, his party would be the controlling party in the Netherlands. If this trend continues, he will become their next Prime Minister. That scares the elites on the left to no end.

For those who haven't seen Fitna, I am reposting it. It is a short, 15 minute film.

And when Mr. Wilders does release his new film is know of a few things that will happen:
  1. Muslims around the world will riot.
  2. Leftist elites will condemn it without viewing it once.
  3. Monkey in the Middle will post it for all to see.

One Lump Or Two?

Tea Parties came and went. For the most part they got very little coverage in most of the Main Stream Media. With the exception of Fox News, the rest called it a Fox News Publicity stunt, or a Republican Party stunt. They under reported the number of protesters present (usually saying a few hundred were present). And then we have this bit of bad reporting from CNN's Susan Roesgen:

I wonder where she was in college when her professors were teaching about Journalistic integrity and objectivity.

You can contact CNN here to lodge a complaint against Ms. Roesgen if you feel it will do any good.

Other than that disgusting display by CNN, here are some sights and sounds of the day.

National Tax Day Tea Party

The word tea party brings up many images.

A group of ladies sitting in a Victorian Parlor with cup of tea in their hands.

A group of American Patriots, dressed as Indians, throwing boxes of tea into Boston Harbor.

And now it stands for a group of Americans protesting the economic and spending bills that the Democratic Congress is imposing on us.
Building upon the success of the February 27th "Chicago Tea Party" Rallies, many of the organizers are now working to develop an even larger day of protests set to happen on April 15th, 2009.

These protests are known as the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.

Our goal with this website is to try and help pull a lot of the Tea Party event organization in to one easy to navigate and user friendly place on the web. We learned, after much feedback, that one of the biggest frustrations was the difficulty in finding information. Our hope is that this website will solve a lot of these problems.
Here is some video from the Tea Parties that have been held so far all over the United States.

We The People (Tea Party)!

Into the Maelstrom: Converging Crises

Can't you feel it? Events are moving faster and faster now. We're sailing into the whirlpool. Threats which once seemed faraway and merely hypothetical are now growing exponentially, swirling around us, drawing us ever closer into the vortex. And we seem helpless. We procrastinate and equivocate. We can't make up our minds. We're lost in a hopeless labyrinth of ambiguities and euphemisms.

Meanwhile, circling us like sharks sensing blood, our enemies are sensing our weakness. Ahmadinejad steps up his threatening rhetoric: They will become nuclear, they will have their bomb. The UN and NATO are either anti-American or useless. The hopelessly conflicted IAEA is impotent: pro-Muslim Al Baradi faults the West and sides with Iran. Kim Jong Ill drops out of the non-proliferation talks and give the rest of the world the finger. Russia and China sense their main chance and are eagerly building up their arsenals. All of the petty potentates are rattling their sabers. The ragtag Somali pirates, the motley teenage Al-Shabaab, are calling our bluff and threatening revenge. The reinvigorated Taliban is busy with their bloody Reconquista of Afghanistan. The crises are converging. Can't you feel it?

Alas, our captain and crew are woefully inexperienced and morally conflicted and the helmsman has lost his grip on the wheel. Are we really doomed to founder? Where is that brave pilot to guide us through this dark night and bring us into safe harbor? Where is that barely remembered voice of manliness and courage? Who will replace the fallen helmsman before it is too late?

We call out but no one answers. Are we really all alone? Abandoned by an incompetent captain and a useless crew? Are we, the passengers, our only hope of salvation? To save our great ship must we all become mutineers?

The great whirlpool is drawing us steadily into its deadly grasp. Soon our decisions will be made for us by forces beyond our control. Our enemies grow more emboldened while our nominal allies vacillate or turn their backs. Terror groups will become nuclear. Israel will be crippled or annihilated. North Korea will develop long range nuclear capability and blackmail the world. Russia and China will thwart us at every turn. Western Europe will fall to the Muslim menace and sharia law will be incorporated into our legal system. Our street gangs will run rampant and our borders will remain porous. Americanism will become a lost idea.

Is this how our great ship will founder? Are we truly helpless in the maelstrom? Someone please tell me I'm just being melodramatic, that things aren't as perilous as they seem, that the maelstrom is nothing but an overblown metafor. That we'll pull through somehow, we always do.

Someone?
Anyone?

Radio Waves From Jupiter

RADIO STORMS ON JUPITER: On April 11th, an amateur radio astronomer in New Mexico heard loud pops and crackles coming from the loudspeaker of his shortwave receiver. The sounds resembled terrestrial lightning, but the source was not on Earth. It was a radio storm on Jupiter. You can listen to the sounds on today's edition of Spaceweather.com .

Astronomers have long known that Jupiter produces strong shortwave radio bursts detectable from Earth; the fact of Jupiter's "radio activity" is not news. However, now may be the best time in decades to listen to the giant planet. The sun is in the pits of a century-level solar minimum. Low solar activity increases the transparency of Earth's atmosphere to shortwave radio waves, allowing signals from Jupiter to more easily and clearly reach the ground. At the same time, terrestrial radio interference subsides (another side-effect of solar minimum), so Jupiter bursts are easier to identify.

2009 is going to be a good year for Jupiter. The planet is moving away from the sun and may now be seen shining brightly in the eastern sky before dawn. Students, teachers and amateur scientists who wish to try listening as well as watching should consider building their own radio telescope. Kits are available from NASA's Radio JOVE program: http://radiojove.gsfc.nasa.gov/
It is not the top 40, and you really can't dance to it. But it does go to prove that music is the language of the Universe. Well at least radio waves. I wonder if Obama will try to put the Fairness Doctrine on these too.

AMERICAN LEGION: An Open Letter to Homeland Security on ‘Rightwing Extremists’

Created in 1919, The American Legion has been on the forefront in the battle of rights for US Veterans and their families. The Legion has been responsible for passage of such notable bills such as: The GI Bill, which sent thousands of veterans returning home from World War II, Korea, and Viet Nam to college, helped millions of veterans buy affordable homes, start businesses, etc...

Needless to say, the American Legion is not, nor has it ever been, a terrorist organization. Until now and the Obama administration's insistence that all groups on the right of their ideology are terror groups.

Dear Secretary Napolitano,

On behalf of the 2.6 million-member American Legion, I am stating my concern about your April 7 report, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence and Recruitment."

First, I want to assure you that The American Legion has long shared your concern about white supremacist and anti-government groups. In 1923, when the Ku Klux Klan still yielded unspeakable influence in this country, The American Legion passed Resolution 407. It resolved, in part, "...we consider any individual, group of individuals or organizations, which creates, or fosters racial, religious or class strife among our people, or which takes into their own hands the enforcement of law, determination of guilt, or infliction of punishment, to be un-American, a menace to our liberties, and destructive to our fundamental law..."

The best that I can say about your recent report is that it is incomplete. The report states, without any statistical evidence, "The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."

The American Legion is well aware and horrified at the pain inflicted during the Oklahoma City bombing, but Timothy McVeigh was only one of more than 42 million veterans who have worn this nation's uniform during wartime. To continue to use McVeigh as an example of the stereotypical "disgruntled military veteran" is as unfair as using Osama bin Laden as the sole example of Islam.

Your report states that "Rightwing extremists were concerned during the 1990s with the perception that illegal immigrants were taking away American jobs through their willingness to work at significantly lower wages." Secretary Napolitano, this is more than a perception to those who have lost their job. Would you categorize union members as "Right Wing extremists"?

In spite of this incomplete, and, I fear, politically-biased report, The American Legion and the Department of Homeland Security share many common and crucial interests, such as the Citizen Corps and disaster preparedness. Since you are a graduate of New Mexico Girls State, I trust that you are very familiar with The American Legion. I would be happy to meet with you at a time of mutual convenience to discuss issues such as border security and the war on terrorism. I think it is important for all of us to remember that Americans are not the enemy. The terrorists are.

Sincerely,

David K. Rehbein
National Commander
The American Legion

Dave Rehbein

It is too bad that these words will be falling on deaf ears. To the Obama Administration, any one who doesn't fall in lock step behind him, must be eliminated, ridiculed and destroyed.

Well said Commander Rehbein, well said!

Piracy thwarted, captain safe: Lessons learned?

Richard Phillips escapes unharmed, assisted by U.S. Navy SEALS.

Updated: April 12, 2009 15:23 ET-A +ABUZZARDS BAY, Mass. — The Massachusetts Maritime Academy instilled a sense of leadership in Richard Phillips — it also taught him how to navigate by the stars and how to avoid crashing into ships.

They were valuable lessons that some 30 years since he graduated from here earned him the rank of captain in command of his own ship. But there are some things you can’t learn in school — like how to be a hero.

Phillips proved yet again the strength of his character when he escaped from the armed pirates holding him hostage by jumping from a lifeboat into the Indian Ocean. He was helped by underwater U.S. Navy SEALS, according to a statement by the U.S. Navy. Phillips, 53, is unharmed on the USS Bainbridge.

The three pirates in the lifeboat were shot dead in the operation. The fourth pirate was negotiating on board the Bainbridge and was arrested.

Phillips has proved several times in recent days that he knows how to lead.

For Phillips captaining a ship turned out to mean more than safely maneuvering around shallow shoals or managing a crew. It meant taking on the pirates who dared for the first time in centuries to attack an American-flagged ship.

Phillips rallied his sailors to overcome those pirates and sacrificed himself for their safety. Now, the pirates hold him hostage aboard a lifeboat surrounded by the U.S. Navy. And Phillips, who grew up in the Boston suburbs, attended the Maritime Academy on Cape Cod and now lives in Vermont, has become a hero as the world watches the drama unfold.

“That’s a very brave thing for anyone to do and the right thing for a captain to do,” said Trevor Fouhey, a junior studying marine transportation at the Maritime Academy, referencing reports that Phillips exchanged himself to secure the safety of his crew.

Other students in the school’s mess hall echoed that sentiment, calling Phillips a hero and praising his selflessness. Several expressed hope that they would have done the same thing in his position.

Pirates attacked the Maersk Alabama Wednesday morning, briefly boarding the ship before the crew retook control. But the pirates escaped with Phillips and are holding him for ransom.

Those who knew Phillips were optimistic that the situation would end well.

“He would be a determined kind of person that would probably say, ‘I am going to get out of this one way or another,” said Pat Waite, a friend of the Phillips family.

Waite said Phillips grew up playing ball with her sons. “After school and evenings during the summer, a group of boys would get together and play softball and baseball and basketball,” said Waite, who still lives in Winchester, Mass., where Phillips grew up.

She said one of her sons sent her an email today that read: “Rich Phillips used to beat me up.”

Edward MacCormack, a classmate of Phillips’ at the academy, said Phillips is a “standup guy who’ll make the best of it.”

A note from Radarsite: What glorious news! For months now Radarsite and all of our many patriotic friends around the world have been waiting for a moment such as this. And here it is. And it is wonderful. How ironic that this heartening and courageous hostage rescue should come under the leftist/pacifist Obama administration. If, however, he did give the authorization to act, then even I must give him proper respect for his decision.

Finally we've shown some moral fiber. Finally we've unleashed the formidable forces of our superior military. And doubt not that the world is watching. And the world is rethinking their relationship with a resurgent America. This is of course just one episode in a much larger historical context, but it is an important one. One that makes me proud to be an American.

Obviously, this major problem of ongoing Somali piracy isn't any closer to being solved but it's a big step in the right direction. Now we must assert ourselves, now we must show the world our strength and our resolve. We must have the courage to finally break away from the blatantly biased, Muslim supporting UN, who have done their best to hogtie the Western nations in their efforts to defend themselves from this scourge of Muslim piracy, and who only seem concerned with the rights of the criminal pirates.

Much has been written over these past few days of our nineteenth century American precedent in dealing these "Barbary pirates". And the parallels are indeed cojent and encouraging. But there is an even earlier, and perhaps even more relevant, if lessor known, precedent for the forces of Western civilization successfuly solving the problem of piracy. The following paragraphs are taken from the original Radarsite series, "America and the Fall of the Roman Empire". I can only hope that we have the wisdom to learn from these worthy precedents.
---------------------------------------------------------------

It has become fashionable to draw parallels between the supposed misadventures of our “New American Imperialism” and the “Fall of the Roman Empire” -- a comparison that conveniently overlooks the fact that it took over a thousand years for the Roman Empire to ‘fall’. One of the most glaring inconsistencies of this comparison is that the Roman Empire was an unapologetically ruthless military power, which experienced no liberal pangs of guilt about its hard-won conquests. Indeed, to the typical Roman, who enthusiastically relished the daily bloody spectacles of the arena, the whole concept of having moral qualms about the manner in which they had acquired their vast Empire would be incomprehensible.

The Roman formula for conquering new provinces was fairly straight-forward. The Roman legions would simply annihilate any opposing force (no matter how long it took, or what it cost them in lives and treasure), systematically root out all remaining insurgents, and impose a locally administered Roman-style government, which would eventually build Roman-style buildings in which to conduct Roman-style business.

Once their territories were conquered, however, the Romans would govern them with a relatively light touch (despite a spate of anti-Roman, pro-Christian “biblical movies” produced in the 1950s -- usually starring the late Charlton Heston -- that invariably portrayed the Roman soldiers as sadistic brutes). So long as the local citizenry behaved according to the proscribed boundaries of the Roman model of civilization, adhered to the basic tenets of Roman jurisprudence, paid their taxes (which, for the most part, were considerably less than they had been paying under their previous rulers), and offered ceremonial homage to the Emperor once a year, the Roman attitude towards the local customs and religious practices was generally fair and unobtrusive.

However, Roman authorities would react swiftly and mercilessly to any perceived threat of dissent. In 146 B.C., in the city of Corinth, in the Roman protectorate of Greece, two Roman envoys were set upon by an unruly crowd of malcontents and were beaten up. The Roman response was quick and unequivocal.

The Senate dispatched the brutal Roman General Mummius who, with his four Legions, attacked the city of Corinth. He killed all of the men of military age, enslaved all of the remaining populace, burned the city to the ground and then, ceremoniously sowed salt on the earth so that nothing would ever grow there again.

An over-reaction? Perhaps. However, needless to say, after Corinth, anyone considering attacking a Roman citizen would, most likely, have serious second thoughts.

Indeed, if we are looking for parallels between our present-day American society and the Roman Empire, we need look no further than this episode of the two Roman ambassadors in Corinth, and compare the Roman reaction then to our government’s ignoble non-response to the plight of our helpless 70 American citizens who were held hostage for 444 days in the infamous 1979 Tehran Embassy takeover.

What then, if anything, can we learn from the history of the Romans?

First, when discussing the moral lessons symbolized by the 'Fall of the Roman Empire' we should perhaps consider how long it actually took to 'fall'. If one accepts the traditional date for the founding of Rome of 753 B. C., and the traditional date of the 'fall' of 476 A.D., then that means that the Roman civilization lasted for something like 1,200 years, while the actual process of the 'fall' arguably took about 300 years.

Transposing these figures onto America's timetable, this would mean that we might start losing ground around the year 2705, and could be in serious trouble by the year 3005. It seems to me that it would be a little difficult to realistically describe this 1200 year process as a 'fall'. I think it could better be described as a pretty big success story.

Additionally, this particular episode at Corinth occurred approximately 200 years before the Empire really reached it's peak, and, far from hindering the development of the Roman world, this incident, and many others like it, only served to strengthen its reputation and intimidate its potential rivals.

For 444 days, while our hapless President Jimmy Carter dithered and dallied with endless and empty diplomatic negotiations, our helpless 70 American citizens suffered the painful privations and unknown perils of their captivity. Only when a new president was sworn into office, an altogether different kind of man, whom they suspected might actually resort to force, were the hostages released.

These, then, are the lessons from Corinth in 146 B.C., and from Tehran in 1979 A. D. Somewhere between these two extreme reactions there is an eternal truth.

Rome vs. the Pirates

As early as the Fourth Century B.C., the Romans began construction of their famous network of ingeniously designed roads (the Via Appia, the most famous of all Roman roads was begun in 312 B.C.). Roman roads soon traversed the Empire from the furthermost outpost in Britain to the easternmost Provinces of Pontus and Bithynia.

Not only did they build them, but they used them -- at first for strictly military purposes, but later on, for private and commercial transportation. Where it proved necessary, they protected them.

Then, in 67 B.C., acting on orders from the Roman Senate, the famous Roman general, Pompey the Great successfully swept the ubiquitous pirates from the waters of the eastern Mediterranean, where they had always preyed upon the major trade routes.

Not only did he destroy their ships at sea, but, acting under a special warrant from the Senate, his legions pursued the pirates inland to their home bases and destroyed these also. Thanks to Pompey’s effective campaign, for the first time in recorded history, the shipping lanes of the eastern Mediterranean became relatively safe.

----------------------------------------------

History has shown us that if a nation/state musters up the necessary will the pirates can be defeated. Of course, for us in the twenty-first century the big question is, will this leftist, appeasement-oriented Obama adminstration somehow find the necessary fortitude to follow through on these essential steps? We know our military is capable and ready. But is our pacifistic Democratic Party and it's culturally conflicted president? We shall see. - rg

He Returnth To Bring The Light Unto The World!

In the fourth month, of His first year, the Anointed One returned to His first scene of triumph.
He brought with Him the Mantra that brought Him acclaim in His land:

Hope and Change.
But the people of the Old Lands were not receptive to this message, for this time He did not bring the bands that rock. Nor was any food or drink giveth out freely for the people to partake. And they were not pleased.

He apologized for the mistakes that His predecessor, Bush the Younger (the Ignorant One) had done.
Reminded the leaders of the Great 20 nations that He had close the hated prison of Gitmo, increased spending in His land on the social programs that the Old Land adopted, and would spend even more if they joined with Him.

But they turned a blind eye and deaf ear to His words. They warned Him that all this spending will destroy His nation. For they had tried that once, and it has destroyed theirs.
They told Him that His nation is just one amongst many. That they would be the leaders of the world, and He would have to follow.

And He agreed.

He took His place in the group photo, not in the first row (the row of the strongest and best), but regulated to the second row. The row of the failures.
He smiled and stammered, but did His best.

To prove to the world of the Muslims that He wasn't a leader, that He wanted to make amends, First He bowed deeply to Abdullah, wearer of the Scared Towel.
The nation did howl NO! Our leader does not not bow to any Earthly prince.
But He ignored the masses and said it was not a bow. And the assembled media agreed.

Then to Turkey He did fly. In Air Force One this time.
He assured them that His nation was not nor never was at war with Islam.
And they cheered and painted the face of their media person black in His honor.

He then snuck into Iraq, like a thief in the night.
He spoke to the troops, but only those who loyal to Him.

Then He returned to the land of the people. But not is all right with the land.

For the people are now seeing the truth behind the fraud. They are arising up, and saying enough.

It is being prophetized that a new leader will arise. To tackle the economy, jobs, and civil strife.

And when he arises, what will the Anointed One do? Will He tackle this new leader with lies and half truths?

The people are crying out to the Lord:

Send us a real Prophet. Heal this land, O Lord!

Happy Easter!

From all of us here at Monkey in the Middle to all of our Christian Readers:

Have a Happy Easter!

And remember to eat your chocolate bunnies head first. It is more humane to them
and you will keep the screaming they do down to a minimum.

Lionheart refused permission for St. George march

A note from Radarsite: The economy and the bailouts have taken center stage during these past few weeks, however, lest we forget, there still remains a growing existential threat to this great nation of ours: Islam. Relentless, implacable, devious and brutal. This is an immensely important subject, which I fear, because of our recent change in administrations, we are ill-prepared to meet. Radarsite is therefore devoting an exceptional amount of space to this exceptional subject. I can only hope that you find this as alarming as I do. We are indeed in mortal peril. We need not look to hypothetical paradigms to see what could possibly happen here in America; all we have to do is look across the sea, where our British cousins have been all but overwhelmed by militant Islam. Thanks to the efforts of brave people like Lionheart (who has chosen to reveal his real name, Paul Ray), England is now fighting back, trying to regain her tattered sovereignty from this massive Muslim onslaught. But it isn't going to be easy. The liberal, multiculturalist, PC police are firmly entrenched. And, as per usual, they side with the enemy; any efforts to display love of country or British culture are deemed 'provocative'. The authorities have already cancelled one patriotic event for this ignoble and disingenuous reason, now here we go again. But these good stalwart Brits aren't giving up; if anything, their voices are growing louder by the day.
St. George's Day Parade was, still is, a rallying cry for British Patriots -- precisely those whom Lionheart represents. Their denial of permission is inexcusable. And we had better pay close attention, folks, because what happens in England is a precursor of what is beginning to happen here - no, what is already happening here.

Here is the email I received this AM from Paul - rg:

Racial hatred arrest for internet blogger
BY JESSICA CUNNIFFEA blogger from Dunstable has been arrested and released on bail for allegedly stirring up racial hatred.

Paul Ray, who uses the pseudonym Lionheart on his provocative online diary, was arrested two weeks ago after returning from South Carolina, America where he was seeking political asylum. He had already been warned via email on January 3 by Bedfordshire Police that he would be arrested if he returned. Last month he attended Greyfriars police station in Bedford, was arrested then bailed and told to return in May to either be released or charged. His blog includes his opinions on the heroin trade, Islamic fundamentalism and alleged police corruption. Mr Ray, who used to have a flat in Great Northern Road and a computer shop on Albion Street, claims he has received death threats. He told Luton/Dunstable on Sunday: "I felt it was right to come back. I handed myself in at a Bedford police station.
"I was arrested on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred. They questioned me on parts of my blog. Compared to what's happening out there I haven't done that much."I'm a Christian - that's my defence. "My belief it that it's my rights and responsibility to say what some people may not like, which may hurt feelings. "My blog is a response to what is happening. I have not called for violence. "You have got some Muslims calling for followers to overpower the state, opening recruiting for a global jihad and raising funds for this. "I've written a few words on a blog." A spokeswoman for Bedfordshire Police said: "I can confirm that someone has been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred and has been released on police bail to return in May."He hasn't been charged but if he chooses to identify himself then that's his concern."

Luton Borough Council ‘Safety Advisory Group’ Meeting (07/04/09

Paul Ray wrote on April 8, 2009 at 12:16pm
As the majority of this group are aware, a meeting was arranged via the police, with the ‘safety advisory group’ of Luton Borough Council for yesterday, in relation to organising this coming St George’s day parade through Luton town centre on April 23rd or 25th.
The head of this group had asked for me to provide a detailed plan of the event, which included the route, marshals, first aid, and expected numbers attending. From our position, what is the point of putting all of this information together, asking people to help out if we are not even going to be granted permission to put the event on in the first place?
From my point of view, the best thing for all concerned would be to meet this ‘safety advisory group’, understand their position, on whether or not they are going to grant permission and then move forward to the next stage. Which is what I did.

Thankfully, I took this approach and did not call in the help that has already been offered at this stage, and have those people exert themselves, only to be told that their time and effort was a waste of time because Luton council have refused permission. Not only do we have people amongst the 250+ here on this group, who have stepped forward and been willing to help, we also have ‘March for England’ offering support and advice, and ‘Stone Cross’ who host a 15,000 strong St George’s day parade every year, and have done for the past 10 years. Those looking on cannot say that we do not have the capability or the capacity to put this event on legally. Many people’s assumptions were proven to be right, when one of the group members who is charged with the blocking off of streets during processions, said that there is absolutely no way we can put this or any other event on without first giving him 6 weeks notice. That being the case, I pointed out that there is obviously no way we can put the event on because St George’s day is only a few weeks away, and had to accept this fact because what else could I say to this person who has placed a dead end in front of us, for this event, on behalf of the ‘advisory group’? If the safety advisory group, who obviously meet on a regular basis knew that there was a 6 weeks notice period for road closures, then why did they not state this to me in the first place, and why did they ask for me to put a detailed plan together when they knew they were going to say no anyway, because of this 6 week time limit? In reality, they were just going through the motions of getting me to sit before them, around their table so that they could personally kill our aims and objectives of a St George’s day parade in Luton. They have another thing coming if they think they can play games with us. We, as English men and women, represent St George because we are English, and do you think he would expect us to just roll over and accept defeat at the hands of these people? Of course not. And neither will we, because we stand under his personification as our patron saint.

That Council is a council under siege from all sides and they cannot even perceive a good thing for the community when it is staring them in the face. How could having the English community, uniting behind their national flag, on their national day, in a community with heightened tensions, with potentially, Bishop Michael Nazir Ali, The Sheriff of Bedfordshire and Chief Sup Andy Frost if they all agreed to speak to those gathered, be a bad thing for the community and the country, considering what real life is now like on the streets of Luton and surrounding areas? It’s a bit different and in sharp contrast to having Hiz But Tahrir whose aims and intentions are to overthrow the British state, parading through parts of Luton shouting and screaming in Arabic or Urdu.Video: Hiz but tahrir in Lutonhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOcriQPBoTgWho are Hiz but tahrir? (conveyor belt of terror)http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/the-radical-islamic-group-that-acts-as-conveyor-belt-for-terror-501827.htmlWe showed the police and local government respect by playing our part in calling off the 28th March demonstration through the town, and in return what do we get for doing the right thing?

This shows that those in local government are clearly not on our side and a formal complaint, asking for an enquiry will be issued to all of the relevant parties in due course. There are numerous parades and demonstrations that have been conducted by the Islamic community recently that can be viewed on youtube. Did these groups have all of the relevant permission to hold their events, block off roads, and pay the liability insurance etc for them to be legal events, as per the Luton Borough Council ‘safety advisory groups’ requirements? If not, why not, and who is responsible for this dereliction of duty? You cannot have a two rule Britain, where the local government polices the English community because we respect the ‘rule of law’, and then let the Islamic community police itself because they completely disregard our ‘rule of law’, doing what they want, when they want and no one holds them to account because of the fear of upsetting community cohesion and relations, with this, an extremely volatile community. We approached the relevant people in authority so that we could hold a parade and be accountable to them, which is how our society is supposed to run, even with me putting my name on the piece of paper responsible for the event. Those in the ‘safety advisory group’ including the police who uphold law and order for this ‘group’ representing local government are also accountable to people above them. The rule or law for one community has to be the same for all communities, and if it is not, then at least we all know where we stand now in modern 21st Century Britain. In Luton in particular, with the questions we want answered, surrounding what is happening in our communities , and those who have failed in their duty of upholding the principles of our society of which they have been entrusted, as they represent local government, being held to account for their failure. When large amounts of people upset community cohesion, have a complete disregard for the ‘rule of law’, with all relevant governing authorities paralysed into acting against this social group, this is anarchy plain and simple and borders on revolution if their ideals and aims are targeted at the destruction of the State nationally, and rejection of the ‘rule of law’ locally.

Why should ‘we the people’ continually be ignored in our own country by those who Lord it over us, when this is going on around us, our children and our grandchildren? We can either accept defeat, and roll over into submission and subservience as second class citizens to those people in positions of authority over us, who are not standing up or defending our community, country, and its future life, in the face of its modern perils, or we can arise and fight for our rights as heirs of the land, and for the sake of our futures, within our own country, against all those who seek to remove those God given rights, from us and our children. This is England and will always be England whilst we the people uphold and defend our birth right and inheritance as free men and women of England that have come by the grace of God. You decide what you want to do. As for me, those I work closely with here and abroad and those who email me, we will fight together until our dying day, with every ounce of breath within us, for the sake of England’s green and pleasant land. Which we hope, one day, we can hand to our children, and grandchildren, exactly as it has been for us and for past generations upon these shores. Take a step back and look around you, read the papers, watch the news and then envision the future for your children and grandchildren. Stand with us or stand aside because the fight for what is right for us and our children within our country is happening. There is no better person to stand behind than our patron saint, St George, with his beliefs and ideals at the core of who we are as English men/women upon our English shores, as we push forward into the future together, carving out the future we want for our children and grandchildren from the mess that has been created of modern Britain. The group will be informed of our next move in relation to Luton Borough Council’s ‘safety advisory groups’ decision, as and when it happens.

Evil disguised as the enemy of evil

"We must never forget -- and this is extremely important -- that as Muslims, we are obligated to desire, and when possible to participate in, the overthrow of any government -- anywhere in the world -- in order to replace it by an Islamic one.” Mullah’s sermon in San Francisco, quoted by Daniel Pipes in “Militant Islam Reaches America”.

You discover a rattlesnake in your bed. You have three choices. You can kill the snake. You can give up your bed and find somewhere else in the house to sleep -- hoping that the snake is content to stay where it is and doesn’t decide to follow you. Or, third, believing, as a good Christian, that all God’s creatures respond to kindness and reason, and that the rattlesnake is essentially a peaceful creature, who only strikes out if unduly provoked, you may decide to slip into bed with the snake and sleep together in peaceful coexistence. And after you’ve been bitten, and the cold paralysis of death is creeping over you, you will still remain utterly convinced that somehow, in some way, you must have done something to provoke the snake.
All this, because you were unable to accept the fact that the rattlesnake will strike because it is in the nature of a rattlesnake to strike.

Eight months after the Madrid Atocha Railway Station bombings, which induced the Spanish electorate to toss out their conservative government, who supported, and sent troops to the U.S.-led war in Iraq, a new Muslim plot was uncovered and suspects arrested. Among the seven targets scheduled to be bombed in the huge attack was the Atocha Railway Station. So much for the argument for appeasement.

When threatened with the prospect of retaliation by the West, the Islamic terrorist replies, “We expect your retaliation; it’s what divides you, and unites us.”
"Dirty War", PBS/HBO/BBC

How true, these defiant Muslim words. If only we believed him. We are being sold down the river by our neighbors and friends. Our honorable military pride is being systematically eroded by a leftist, pro-Islam, pacifist president, who bows to the Saudi potentate. Are we to believe these are the leaders who will protect us from this growing -- and, yes, it is growing larger every day -- Muslim menace, this creeping sharia law that is surreptitiously infiltrating this country? Are our liberal Democratic friends and neighbors going to protect us from this almost inevitable (see Britain and the shameful EU, if you doubt me) catastrophe? By their foolhardy, no, suicidal programs of “indiscriminate tolerance” they have set the stage for this impending tragedy. Do I sound emotional? Well, I am dammit, and if you're not getting emotional about this I'd suggest you go back and read this posting again. This isn't fiction. The good guys are being arrested and the bad guys are running the show. Dear God, is there time left to turn it around? Are we to be sunk by our own captain and crew? Will we continue to adamantly refuse to learn from the lesson of Lionheart, and all the rest of those beleaguered Western European States? Are we that stupid? Do we hate ourselves that much?
Here's how Eric Hoffer puts it:

“What is it that drives some intellectuals in free countries to hate their native land and wish for its annihilation? In a Western democracy the adversary intellectual is not only against his country…but he sides with animals against man, with the wilderness against the sown. Predictably, an adversary intellectual who is a Jew sides with the Arabs against Israel….
One who hates what most people love probably savors his own uniqueness. The adversary intellectual cannot actually wreck a society, and he cannot seize power, but by discrediting and besmirching a society he undermines the faith of its potential defenders.”
-- Eric Hoffer, In Our Time

My friends, if we lose this one, if we let Israel down, and we don't protect our borders or our assets overseas, if we don't make a stand against Iran or North Korea, and sever ties with those blood-soaked Saudi Princes, who fund their worldwide hate-spewing madrasses, if we don't crack down on this steady inexorable Muslim infiltration of the US -- and the corresponding creeping emergence of sharia law into our legal system, if we don't start acting instead of talking, then the unemployment figures and the Dow-Jones averages won't be worth a damn. Then goodbye America - Thou wast too beautiful. rg

Our Dearly Beloved Foe

Most of us are aware of our foreign enemies, the Islamists, the Communists, the petty potentates. But what about our domestic enemies? Whom must we defeat on our own soil in order to save this great nation? The hardcore left? the America-haters? the Pelosis and Reids? those Hollywood swimming pool capitalist/commies? the Jane Fondas and Michael Moores? Forget it, they're beyond redemption. They're firmly committed, most often generationally committed, to the death of American style democracy and capitalism, and to the universal victory of collectivism. But despite their money and influence it wasn't the Barbra Streisands and the Sean Penns who were responsible for the Great Charlatan's victory this past November. Our real political foes, who by their inattention or gullibility are presently in the process of destroying this country, are some of the nicest people in the world. You know them well. They're your friends and neighbors, perhaps your sons and daughters. They've opened up their innocent hearts to the promise of Obama and voted for "Change we can believe in", fervently believing that our so-called Global War on Terror is nothing more than an overblown Republican ruse, another blatant attempt to accrue more right-wing power and wealth, another pointless Vietnam, that our problems with Islam began (and will hopefully have ended) with the presidency of George W. Bush. "Bush lied and thousands died", they say. And we must understand that they believe it, deeply, sincerely. Tolerance and pacifism are integral parts of their carefully constructed psyche: To achieve peace and harmony in this world, they tell us, we must lovingly embrace the Other, no matter how their morays or mores might conflict with ours. All religions are equally sacrosanct and above objective criticism (with the possible exception of certain loony fringe cults), even if they are overtly politicized. War is nothing but legalized violence, and is never, ever, the answer. Everyone and everything has rights: trees have rights, whales have rights, and enemy combatants have rights. These rights must never be abrogated or we'll lose our foundational moral integrity and sink to the level of our less-enlightened, or less privileged adversaries. Our material success is a crown of thorns -- we're weighed down by the guilty knowledge that our bounty is tainted with moral corruption and boundless greed. We've risen to our heights on the backs of the downtrodden of this world, the poor blacks and the colored peoples of this world, and we must finally admit to our inherent self-serving racism and bigotry, and try, somehow at least try, to make amends. We'll begin our national catharsis by electing a President from amongst the Other, a President who sees his role not as the leader of a great sovereign nation but rather as a citizen of the world, a President who sees America, not as a grand and glorious exception, but as just one state among many, bound by the universal laws of all the peoples of this world. Humility, not hegemony.

The celebrity activists (and our leftist MSM) have helped deliver this awful self-inflicted wound, but in the end it was the 'good people', our friends and neighbors, perhaps our sons and daughters, who went to the polls in droves and proudly cast their votes for the first black president of the United States of America, thus proving to this jaded world that we are no longer arrogant racists, and that we're willing to make amends. And it is this radiant but illusory vision of hope and promise that we must somehow brutally shatter if we are to survive the coming onslaught. There is hope and there is promise, but only if we are free and alive to achieve it.

So how do we reach these good-hearted but ill-advised liberals? How do we break through those barriers of comfortable self-righteousness? As our fellow patriot Maggie Thornton so aptly suggested, must they really be shown rather than told? Must they be subjected to multiple 9/11s before they're willing to face the truth of our imminent peril?

These good people aren't ignorant or even necessarily disinterested, they're busy, consumed in their everyday battles. They're generally optimistic: they feel that somehow things will 'work themselves out', they always do. These good people spend an average of twenty minutes a week getting their news from a leftist MSM. At the end of the day, what little time they have left they choose to spend with their families and their loved ones. They have neither the space nor the inclination in their hectic lives to study the Koran, nor to contemplate the inroads of Islam in Belgium. Yes, the good people of America are busy, busy with the business of making America great. They're what separate us from those lethargic and constantly rioting socialistic failures across the seas.

Of course the problem with this situation is that just being good isn't good enough. Being honest and hard-working and good just won't save them, and us. There were a lot of good, intelligent and industrious people in Germany in the twenties and thirties who by their inattention, by their silence, or their gullibility, allowed their country to be taken over by monsters and brought to ruin.

Our good people are just that: they're good, we're not angry with them, we love them, they're our only hope. When we write it's not to change the minds of any of those hardened far-left activists but to try to reach these decent, hard-working folks who would care if they really understood the gravity of their situation, our present situation. They're not asleep, they don't need to be "awakened", they've been awake for hours. They've already got the kids off to school and are on their way to work. No, they don't need to be awakened, but they need to be convinced, convinced that we truly are in mortal danger, that we truly are in a desperate war, a war that we absolutely must win. And somehow we must do the convincing.

Recently I got into a minor argument with a liberal friend of mine over the threat of Islam, and when I brought up the subject of CAIR my friend said that he'd never heard of them. This is what we're up against. This is an example of the shallowness of their cognizance. This is why we must continue this fight, no matter how hopeless it may seem. For we are one of the only avenues of truth out there and our fellow citizens are in dire need of truth and education. This is why our words matter, why our tireless research has meaning. This isn't some egocentric form of pedantic arrogance, it's simply a matter of life and death. - rg
