 That is what Palestinian Police Spokesman General Adnan Damiri has claimed, and it is now the official policy of the PA and those who support them.

Jewish settlers in Israel “are not normal people” and therefore there is no need to apologize for the murder of a Jew who prayed at Kever Yosef (Joseph’s Tomb) Sunday morning, according to Palestinian Authority security forces’ spokesman General Adnan Damiri.

He also claimed the victims of Kever Yosef attack may have been armed.

In an unusually provocative interview with Voice of Israel government radio, he said he could not confirm or deny eyewitness reports that Palestinian Authority policemen shot at five Jews who were on their way home from praying at Kever Yosef (Joseph’s Tomb) early Sunday morning.

“We have not said they were or were not” PA policemen, Damiri said, contradicting all reports in both Arab and Israeli media, where the attackers were identified as PA policemen.

Asked if the PA will apologize for the murder of Ben Yosef Livnat, he answered, “You know that settlers are not normal people. Every day, they shoot at innocent Arabs.” This, of course, is a blatant untruth, as the news anchor realized.

News anchor Estie Peres, who may agree with the usual Voice of Israel’s criticism of Jewish presence in most of Judea and Samaria, responded that she could not agree with his statement that “settlers are not normal” and asked Damiri if there was justification in shooting at people who had been praying and were on their way home.

“Maybe they were armed,” Damiri responded.

Further questioned if the PA will "make peace with settlers,” he declared, “There is no room in the Palestinian Authority for settlers.”

The Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency turned the story around and told its readers that “dozens of armed ultra-Orthodox settlers entered the Joseph’s Tomb site…, pulled out their own guns and pointed them toward Palestinian officers. “ This is the same agency that claimed that the Fogel family of Itamar were killed by a Thai worker, well knowing that the town of Itamar allows employment of Jewish workers only.

There was no indication from Israeli authorities that the worshippers were armed.

Palestinian Authority Arabs set fire to Kever Yosef near Shechem Sunday morning several hours after PA policemen gunned down Jewish worshippers, killing one of them. Eyewitnesses saw smoke billowing over the tomb, which Arabs have frequently desecrated in the past.



The murder victim, 24-year-old Ben Yosef Chai, a nephew of Likud Minister Limor Livnat, was buried Sunday afternoon, several hours before the beginning of the last day of the seven-day Passover holiday Sunday evening.

PA police killed Livnat and wounded four others by opening fire on their cars after they prayed at Kever Yosef and were returning home.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak condemned the murder and said that the lack of coordination did not justify the Palestinian Authority police attack. He demanded that the PA investigate the shooting. Pictured is a bullethole in one of the vehicles targeted by the PA.

Many coalition Knesset Members are up in arms over the PA police attack. Cabinet Science minister, MK Prof. Rabbi Daniel Hershkowitz, chairman of the Jewish Home party that is part of the coalition, said the attack "unmasked the PA’s true face” and called for the return of the IDF to the holy site, where previous agreements guaranteed Israel control and the freedom of worship to Jews.


Israel since has surrendered Kever Yosef to the PA.


National Union chairman MK Yaakov Katz called on Israelis to remember that it was Israel that first armed the PA with rifles as part of the ill-fated Oslo Accords, signed in 1993. Livnat’s name is added to “the long list of 1,500 Jews who have been slaughtered by PA weapons,” MK Katz added.

The Shomron (Samaria) Residents Committee stated, “The murder this morning at Joseph's Tomb illustrates the danger of relying on the Palestinian police. Every Palestinian policeman is a potential terrorist whose hatred of Jews” is always present.

Likud MK Ze’ev Elkin and National Union MK Aryeh Eldad said, “There can be no room for any concession on the need for total control and freedom of action for the IDF in all regions of Judea and Samaria.”

The Human Rights Organization of Judea and Samaria declared that the murder provides further proof that contradicts a recent report that the Palestinian Authority is ready to become an independent country.

Once again I am responding to a readers comments through a full posting.  This time to Joel who wrote this comment to the article "Useless Discours-Another Israel-Bashing Event at UC-Irvine":

Israel has been occupying the West Bank and Gaza since 1967 and it continues to colonize these territories. It's time to end these policies once and for all.

Wow!  2 short sentences that have nothing to do with the article posted, but will make this child look cool to his friends when he mentions it. Oh and it is cool these days to be for the destruction of Israel and the murder of another 7 million Jews (Your skinhead friends will be very pleased with you.).

Normally I would have the author of the posting respond to you, and if Mr. Fouse wishes to, I will be happy to welcome him into the debate.

To start off the debate let me give you a few FACTS.

Arabs are not the Indigenous People, Jews are.

A study by the University of Chicago found that Arab populations, including Palestinians, Jordanians, Syrians, Iraqis, and Bedouin, have at least some sub-Saharan African genes. Non-Arabs from the region, including Turks, Kurds, Armenians, Azeris, Georgians, and Jews did not have any African roots. A possible explanation is the proximity of the Arabian peninsula to the Black African nations. This conclusion is favored by the fact that Yemenite Arabs have 35% Black African genes in their mtDNA (which passes through the mother), while others have less. Yemen, of course, is very close geographically to several Black African nations. Other Arabs, especially those far away from the Arabian peninsula, have as little as 10% African blood in their mtDNA. As such, it is possible that the African gene was merely diluted by the introduction of non-Arab (and non-African) genes to the pool when Arabs began to conquer other Middle East people after the rise of Islam. The "real" Arabs -- those who have Arab ancestors stretching beyond the last 1,400 years - are actually 35% Black in their mtDNA. These Arabs are from the Arabian peninsula.

There is a significant Christian population among Palestinian Arabs, leading some to claim that at least part of the Palestinian population (the Christians) descended from the original followers of Christ, who were, of course, Jews (they were Jews ethnically, even if they didn't follow Judaism).

The local Christian Arabs can claim the right of being part of the Indigenous Population due to their being descended from the Jewish population of the land, but not the Muslim population. They originated in Yemen, arrived in the land in the 1480s (About the time Columbus 'discovered' and colonized the New World.), and should be resettled back in Yemen immediately.

Forgetting the genetics, history has shown a presence of the Jewish People in the land, non-stop for the last 3500 years. Historical evidence of this presences in found in the historical writings of the Babylonians, Greeks, Roman, Muslims, Crusaders, Turks and Westerners. Mark Twain mentions the Jews in his travels. The Greeks mention the Jews and their obscene practice of circumcision. The Romans mention them in many places. So looking at historical sources, I give you the following:

• When Joshua led the people of Israel back to the promise land, he was fulfilling God's commandment to return to the land of their forefathers. God admonished him to kill everything and everyone. There were Jews again in the land.
• When the Babylonians conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Greeks conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Romans conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Muslims conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Crusaders conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Muslims re-conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the Ottoman Turks conquered, there were Jews in Israel.
• When the British were given the Mandate, there were Jews in Israel.
• When in 1948, the Jews took back the land stolen from them, there were Jews in Israel.

Genetics, Archeology, and History show that the Indigenous People of the land are the Jews and their descendants. You cannot occupy or colonize that which is HISTORICALLY yours to begin with!! Thus your argument falls flat.  It always does when you insert facts into the mix.

Why wasn't Qadaffy put to such a standard? Or Egypt, Iran Pakistan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, or any of the Islamic nations (57) whose record of Human Rights is so abysmal that the only redress to do is to put them in charge of it.  The lunatics really are running the asylmun.

That is how Abu Mazen Mahmoud Abbas is behaving now that Israel is not extending the settlement freeze.  It is the behavior of a child.  Do what I say or I'll have a tantrum.

The PLO said on Wednesday that they cannot be expected to continue peace talks unless Israel reverses the decision to lift restrictions on settlement construction.

Hanna Amireh, a member of the PLO body, said there was widespread opposition to resuming talks without a settlement curb.

"The consensus is that since the entire world is in favor of a Palestinian state and against settlements, then let us throw this problem in the face of the world and see what they can do about it," Amireh said.

Also on Wednesday EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton said that the recently expired settlement construction moratorium must be extended if the peace talks are to have any hope of succeeding

Ashton made the comments after a Washington meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Earlier on Wednesday, Ashton announced an imminent trip to Israel, where she is expected to land on Thursday. Ashton said she was heading to the region "as a matter of priority" after talking to Mitchell and international Mideast envoy Tony Blair.

She reiterated in a statement that the European Union regrets Israel's decision not to extend a 10-month-old moratorium on West Bank housing starts that expired this week.

Starting Thursday, the EU foreign policy chief will meet with Netanyahu, Abbas and Mitchell over two days to try to prevent the collapse of negotiations. For 9 months the PA, refused to come to the table and talk.  They told the world that unless their preconditions were met.  They weren't and Abu Mazen Mahmoud Abbas came to the negotiations any way.  That time his temper tantrum didn't work.

Will it work now?  So far Tony Blair, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Hussein Obama has tried to pressure Netanyahu and the Israelis into giving in to the demands of the 2-year old Abu Mazen Mahmoud Abbas, and so far Netanyahu and Israel says NO!

Now a new player is trying to compel Israel into giving into the PA's demands.  EU President Catherine Ashton, old horse face herself (I wonder if her mother ever won the Derby?) is demanding the PA be accommodated.

If the PA really wanted their own nation,nothing would stop them from any negotiations.  Wild horses nor ugly EU Presidents could or would keep them away from the table.  But the PA is not interested in ever succoring a nation for their people.  To do so would mean that the PA would actually and finally have to provide for their people and not allow the UN, EU or US to feed, clothe, house , teach and give medical aid.  It would be the job, the responsibility of the PA for their people's well being, their safety, and the leadership of the PA could no longer steal the aid that is sent for their people in order to enrich themselves.

It is time to finally dissolve UNRWA and force the Arabs  to take responsibility for the people living in their lands, now and forever.  It is the adult thing to do.

Baring that, look for more childish behavior from the Arabs and more so-called world leaders appeasing them by pressuring Israel.

Six Israel infantry soldiers performed an “about face" amidst the tension of patrolling in Hevron and were filmed dancing to the pop song “Tick Tock” down a threateningly empty street. The soldiers were filmed in full combat gear.

Hevron, traditionally one of Judaism's four holy cities, has been a flash point of constant attempts by Arabs to attack soldiers and the Jewish community in the city. The other holy cities are Jerusalem, Tzfat (Safed) and Tiberias. Rock throwing, firebombs, sniper fire and stabbing attacks by Arabs are frequent. It is considered a dangerous assignment for soldiers.

The IDF said the video was a “stunt” initiated by the soldiers, who may face an investigation for acting their age for a few minutes and finding a unique way of taking a break from army routine.

Mosab Hassan Yousef s a Palestinian-American and son of a Hamas founder and leader who spied for Israel from 1997 to 2007. Israel's internal security service, Shin Bet, considered Yousef the most valuable source within the Hamas leadership.[3]

The information Yousef supplied prevented dozens of suicide attacks, the assassination of Israelis, and exposed numerous terrorist groups. Yousef has since converted to Christianity and moved to California, in the United States. In March 2010, he published his autobiography, Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices.

Born n Ramallah, his father, sheikh Hassan Yousef, was a Hamas founder and leader who spent many years in Israeli prisons. He is the oldest of six brothers and two sisters.

According to Yousef, when he was growing up he wanted to be a fighter because that was expected of Arab children in the West Bank. Yousef was first arrested when he was ten, during the First Intifada, for throwing rocks at Israeli settlers. He was further arrested and jailed by the Israelis numerous times. As his father's eldest son, he was seen as his heir apparent and became an important part of the Hamas organization.

In 1999, Yousef met a British missionary who introduced him to Christianity. Between the years 1999 and 2000, Yousef converted to Christianity and was baptized in 2005. He left the West Bank for the United States in 2007 and lived some time in San Diego, California, where he joined the Barabbas Road Church. .

In August 2008, Yousef publicly revealed his conversion to Christianity and began denouncing Hamas and the Arab leadership, thereby endangering himself and exposing his family in Ramallah to persecution. Yousef said his goal in revealing the evil nature of the leadership to the world was to bring peace to the Middle East. He still hopes to return to Israel/Palestine when there is peace.

Yousef lives under a death sentence, and if forced to return to Ramallah or Gaza, he will be executed. Yet he is being led to the slaughter by the Obama Regime.

Ten former IDF combat soldiers rescued a US citizen and her two-and-a-half-year-old son from a Palestinian village in the Tulkarm area where they had been held captive for 3 years, Israel Radio revealed on Wednesday morning.

The woman, who had married a young Palestinian man she met in the United States, was being held captive in his house, together with their son. The man's first wife and four children from the first marriage also live in the house.

The woman's husband allegedly hit her, prevented her from leaving the house and threatened that if she left, she would never see their son again. He also threatened that if she left the home, she would be apprehended by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

After efforts to bring about the woman's release by contacting Palestinian Authority officials failed, the woman's parents contacted a Jewish American man who had served in a combat unit in the IDF. He contacted friends in Israel who planned the rescue operation for several weeks, gathering intelligence on the family's routine, and carrying it out successfully on Monday, according to Israel Radio.

The woman and her son were transferred to the US consulate in Jerusalem and left the country on an airliner to Ohio on Tuesday.

Giora, one of the men who took part in rescuing the woman and her son, told Israel Radio that while the IDF was not aware of the operation, the US consulate was updated about every step of the mission.

"The rescue mission was planned in a similar way to operations carried out during my time in the military in a way that ensured no lives were endangered," Giora told the station.

The family promised a financial reward to the men for freeing their daughter, Giora said, insisting, however, that "we didn't do it for the money."

Knowing our State Department, once the father raises a stink, the young boy and/or his mother will be on the first plane back to the living hell they just escaped from.

An international group of veteran statesmen said Tuesday that it will send a delegation including former US president Jimmy Carter and Nobel peace laureate Desmond Tutu to Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip next month.

The Elders was founded in 2007 by former South African president Nelson Mandela with the declared aim of backing peace efforts and attempting to alleviate suffering worldwide.

Carter last visited the region in mid-June, during which time Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made a major policy speech. Carter said then that Netanyahu had created new obstacles to peace in his statements regarding settlement expansion and his demand that the Palestinian recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

He nevertheless stressed that the differences between US President Barack Obama and Netanyahu could be overcome. "I have to say that in spite of the differences between my president, Barack Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu, greater differences existed between myself and then-prime minister Begin," he said.

During his visit Carter spoke to the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and toured Gush Etzion, which he said he'd always envisioned as remaining part of Israel in any future deal.

Tutu in March called for an inquiry into alleged breaches of international law during Operation Cast Lead, by both sides.

Perhaps these "Elders" should go to Zimbabwe and investigate the conditions there. Or Darfur, Nigeria, Somalia, Rwanda. The people in those areas have really seen horrors. But that is permitted. It was done by Blacks, Muslims or both. One must never investigate the dealings or crimes of Black people. They are victims of Zionism and Zionist agression (even when there are no Jews in the nation).

Hamas Must Pay $116 Million to Terror Attack Victims

In 1996 American citizen Yaron Ungar and his Israeli wife, Efrat, were murdered by members of the PLO and other terrorists on the West Bank. In an earlier time this would have been just another tragedy and forgotten. But in 1991 the United States passed The Anti-Terrorism Act of 1991. A little known provision of this Act states:

(a) Action and Jurisdiction.— Any national of the United States injured in his or her person, property, or business by reason of an act of international terrorism, or his or her estate, survivors, or heirs, may sue therefor in any appropriate district court of the United States and shall recover threefold the damages he or she sustains and the cost of the suit, including attorney’s fees.

The Ungar Estate did just that in Federal Court in the State of Rhode Island. And finally justice has been served.

The Palestine Liberation Organization and its governmental entity cannot overturn a court judgment forcing them to pay more than $116 million for a Hamas terror attack that killed a U.S. citizen and his wife, a federal judge has ruled.

The case is among a handful in the country filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1991, which seeks to hold terrorist organizations responsible for the killings of American citizens.

In a ruling Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge Ronald Lagueux rejected a request from the Palestinian defendants asking they not be held responsible for the 1996 shooting deaths of Yaron Ungar and his Israeli wife, Efrat, near the West Bank.

The judge, who first ordered the Palestinian defendants to pay in 2004, blamed their loss on a legal strategy set by their late leader Yasser Arafat, who refused to recognize the jurisdiction of the U.S. court.

"These choices were the intentional, deliberate and binding decisions made by the PA's dictatorial leader," the judge wrote. "Defendants must now accept the consequences of these decisions."

Legal proceedings are under way in the United States, Israel and other countries to take money from the PLO and the Palestinian Authority, said David Strachman, an attorney for the estate of the Ungars, who had two children. Only a modest sum has been collected so far, he said, declining to be more specific.

"Judge Lagueux confirmed once again their culpability and their obligation to pay to the Ungar orphans and their family," he said.

It was unclear Thursday if the PLO and Palestinian Authority would appeal, said Deming Sherman, an attorney representing them. He declined to comment further on the case.

The lawsuit seeks compensation for a fatal attack on June 9, 1996, near the Israeli village of Beit Shemesh.

Ungar and his wife were driving home when another vehicle driven by three Hamas gunmen pulled alongside them and opened fire. The couple were killed, but their 9-month-old son survived; another son wasn't in the car.

The defendants accused Hamas, a Palestinian militant group considered by the European Union and the United States to be a terrorist organization, of staging the attack to disrupt peace negotiations the Palestinian Authority was carrying out with the Israeli and U.S. governments.

The judge previously ordered that Hamas must pay more than $116 million for its role in the attack. Hamas has never hired a lawyer or contested the case.

This should be no problem for the Ungar Estate to collect on. The US government under President Barack Obama has pledged $1.1 billion to the PA. First subtract the funds for this judgement, then send out the money. Or just hold it back. With this win, there could and should be more victims of terror worldwide coming forth. We could start with the 9/11 families (Saudi Arabia has very deep pockets). Then there are the victims of 7/7, Madrid, and Mumbai (Pakistan was involved and is slated to receive $10 Billion).

The victims of terror could put these groups out of business very fast with lawsuits.

This will just become another Nakba to the Arabs. They can start holding yearly marches over this one too.

What kind of man sneaks into a village and attacks a child with an axe?

Yesterday Shlomo Nativ, age 16, was murdered by an axe welding, peace-loving member of the Religion of Peace.

Sixteen-year-old Shlomo Nativ was killed and a seven-year-old boy was moderately injured in an attack carried out by a terrorist carrying an axe in the West Bank settlement of Bat Ayin Thursday noon.

According to the police, the terrorist managed to flee the scene. The IDF launched a hunt for the terrorist, set up roadblocks and boosted security throughout the communities in the area.

Palestinian sources reported that IDF forces were surrounding a house in the nearby village of Khirbet Safa where they suspected the attacker may be hiding.

A Magen David Adom rescue team tried to resuscitate the teen, who they said ran into a house after being attacked, but he died of his injuries. Ozer Zilbershlad, a ZAKA rescue service volunteer at the scene told Ynet, "You could see a trail of blood where the deceased ran."
