Food For Thought

The current Healthcare bill just introduced by Speaker Pelosi is over 2,000 pages.

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was only 8 pages.

Scary isn't it?

  1. Seems to be the common ploy now by the Democrats in Congress - it all started with the Stimulus Bill in which they purposely made it huge to hide all of the payments to pork projects and unConstitutional pay offs - they must figure that since it worked then, they'll just keep doing it.

I'm wondering...will a Cap and Trade bill coming out of the Senate be 3,000 pages?

  2. If anyone says they've personally read that bill...I simply don't believe them. I just really don't think any human being could read, comprehend and absorb 2,000 pages of legalese in less than a week. This is unbelievable.
